The digital information and communication technologies have been increasingly affecting different areas of social life, including the educational one. In recent years, in different countries, the educational systems have developed programs and experiences intending to work this theme in different aspects. This article focuses on one of these proposals: the blend learning, considered as a broad perspective that can offer various alternatives and raise countless concerns. The text is structured in four sections. First, the presentation of the development of blend learning concept, as well as its different modalities. The second one focus on the inverted class, considered the gateway of blend learning. Thirdly, the discussion about the teacher role in this learning modality. Finally, the reflection on the challenges of blend learning to develop the education in a critical perspective., Las tecnologías digitales de la información y la comunicación provocan un impacto creciente en distintos ámbitos de la vida social, entre los cuáles la educación. En los últimos años, en diferentes países, programas y experiencias fueron realizados en los sistemas educacionales intentando trabajar este tema en distintas dimensiones. El presente artículo está centrado en una de las propuestas: la enseñanza híbrida– blended learning–, considerada una perspectiva amplia que puede ofrecer diversas alternativas y suscitar innúmeras inquietudes. Está estructurado en cuatro partes: el desarrollo del concepto de enseñanza hibrida y sus diferentes modalidades; la clase invertida, considerada la puerta de entrada de la enseñanza hibrida; el papel del profesor en esta modalidad de enseñanza. Termina haciendo una reflexión sobre los desafíos que presenta la enseñanza hibrida para el desarrollo de una educación en la perspectiva crítica.

Purpose: The objective of this work is to investigate the effect of synchronous and asynchronous activities on the academic performance of university students. For this purpose, the academic results obtained and the involvement and motivation of the student and the teacher in the different learning methodologies involved are analyzed. Students’ perception of the effectiveness of the flipped class with the face-to-face classroom and online methodologies is compared to that of the traditional learning methodology. Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected from undergraduate students in three marketing courses and were analyzed through a quantitative descriptive, quasi-experimental and cross-sectional study. Academic performance with the different learning methodologies and the effect of synchronous and asynchronous activities on academic performance were compared using logistic regression on each course and methodology. Findings: The results showed that academic performance in synchronous and asynchronous activities was better in the flipped class, except for synchronous activities in the online flipped class. In addition, the best academic performance was obtained in the face-to-face inverted classes. The explanatory effect of asynchronous activities on academic performance was also identified. The greatest predictive capacity and the best prognosis were obtained in the online inverted classes. Students expect to obtain satisfactory results with the inverted class methodology and perceive it as effective, although they prefer a mixture of inverted classes and the traditional methodology. Originality/value: We contribute to theoretical and practical research with this new model to study the influence of the flipped learning methodology and asynchronous and synchronous activities on academic performance. We believe that these results, despite the specific and limited scope of the study, will be of great interest to the teaching community and contribute to improving the motivation and performance of students, which constitutes a main challenge in the higher education system

The article has considered topical issues of the introduction of the technology “Audience upside down” into the educational process of higher educational establishment. The introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process has been defined as one of the leading ways of forming the professional competence of future educators of preschool educational establishments. The essence of the specified technology has been theoretically substantiated in the work, the general features also have been characterized, a number of advantages and disadvantages of this technology in comparison with traditional methods of training have been generalized, and also possibilities of its usage during studying new material have been described. The authors of the article have analyzed definitions of “educational technology”, “inverted classroom” and “audience upside down”. The article also has noted that for the effective implementation of such educational technology important tasks of the teacher are carefully prepared methodological support for independent work of applicants. It has been emphasized the need for the teacher to be aware of changes in his role and functions in the usage of such training. We have taken as a basis the following stages of successful application of technology, which played a leading role in preparing the teacher and applicants for its implementation and the process of passing the “class revolution”, namely: shift of focus; script selection; development of educational materials. On their basis it has been recommended to use the technology “Audience upside down” in the process of training future educators. У роботі теоретично обґрунтовано сутність зазначеної технології, охарактеризовано загальні особливості, узагальнено низку її переваг та недоліків у порівняні з традиційними методами навчання, а також описано можливості її використання під час вивчення нового матеріалу. Проаналізовано дефініції понять “технологія навчання”, “перевернутий клас” та “аудиторія догори дриґом”. У статті також відзначено, що для ефективної реалізації такої технології навчання важливими завданнями викладача є ретельно підготовлене методичне забезпечення самостійної роботи здобувачів.

Les classes en que el professor donava una explicació magistral unidireccional i els alumnes només escoltaven aquests coneixements s'han demostrat com a poc eficients ja que no comporten un aprenentatge significatiu. La comunitat educativa actual, on les classes magistrals encara son majoritàries, necessita un canvi de paradigma en que s'introdueixin les metodologies actives, que milloren la motivació i l'aprenentatge dels alumnes. Entre les metodologies actives, la que hem trobat com a més recomanada per iniciar aquest canvi de paradigma és el Flipped classroom (en endavant FC) o classe invertida. El FC suposa un canvi en el rol de l'alumne, que passarà a ser protagonista de la seva formació, i també del rol del professorat, que ara acompanyarà i guiarà el procés d'aprenentatge. Revisarem aquest canvi de rols, les passes que s'haurien de seguir per introduir aquesta metodologia i algunes eines TIC de que disposem per tal de gestionar el treball individual i augmentar la participació en les activitats grupals, fora de l'aula. L'avaluació i la recollida de feedback també s'hauran d'adaptar a la nova metodologia, per tal de permetre reconèixer els coneixements pràctics adquirits i de revisar de manera continuada l'evolució de l'alumnat. Degut als avantatges del FC aquí exposats, he aplicat aquesta metodologia activa en el context en que he realitzat les pràctiques del màster, el CFGS d'automatització i robòtica industrials, i indicaré la implementació i les conclusions.

La educación a través de la historia ha representado el pilar de la sociedad para construirla y transformarla, por estos y otros fundamentos epistemológicos ha representado la figura más enigmática. De este modo, las diferentes maneras de enseñar han ido tomando fuerza dentro de la ciencia pedagógica, tanto que dentro de estos modelos de aprendizaje se adentra la didáctica como estrategia de construir puentes de conocimiento. Lo anterior se considera para la tesis el docente universitario debe desarrollar diversas formas de enseñar tales que generen aprendizajes significativos. Defendido en [2020] Bibliografía: p. 109-113 (Según el contador de la aplicación) El presente trabajo realiza un estudio y análisis de la situación actual de la metodología de la Clase Invertida, prestando especial atención al uso de herramientas TIC para fomentar la participación de los estudiantes sinohablantes de nivel universitario en el aula de ELE. A su vez, previo al capítulo de conclusiones, se presenta una propuesta didáctica basada en la teoría y aplicaciones introducidas a lo largo del documento. En primer lugar, se presentan los conceptos básicos que engloba la Clase Invertida, detallando ejemplos de instituciones que implementaron con éxito la metodología en sus aulas; primero a nivel global, y a continuación de forma más específica dentro del contexto educativo chino. Dentro del propio marco teórico, también se presentan los beneficios de la mencionada metodología, así como la relación que tiene esta en la ansiedad, factores afectivos y, finalmente, en la participación del alumnado en clase. En segundo lugar, se presenta un listado de herramientas susceptibles de ser empleadas en un curso basado en la Clase Invertida, con especial interés en aquellas que muestran un mejor rendimiento dentro del marco y las limitaciones propias de la red de telecomunicaciones de la República Popular China. El marco teórico concluye con un capítulo dedicado al escenario futuro de la enseñanza online en China. Con esta base, se plantea finalmente una secuencia didáctica que, haciendo uso de las herramientas previamente introducidas y teniendo en cuenta los intereses reales de los estudiantes, trata de extraer el máximo beneficio de los recursos disponibles. El capítulo final está dedicado a futuras líneas de investigación, teniendo en cuenta las características y circunstancias de la educación en China. Abstract: This paper carries out a study and analysis of the current situation of the methodology of the Inverted Class, paying special attention to the use of ICT tools to encourage the participation of university Sino-speaking students in the ELE classroom. Prior to the conclusions chapter, a didactic proposal based on the theory and applications introduced throughout the document is presented. First, the basic concepts included in the Inverted Class are presented, detailing examples of institutions that successfully implemented the methodology in their classrooms; first globally, and then more specifically within the Chinese educational context. Within the theoretical framework itself, the benefits of the methodology are also presented, as well as the relationship it has in anxiety, affective factors and, finally, in the participation of students in class. Second, a list of tools that can be used in a course based on the Inverted Class is presented, with special interest in those that show better performance within the framework and limitations of the telecommunications network of the People's Republic of China. The theoretical framework concludes with a chapter dedicated to the future scenario of online education in China. With this basis, a didactic sequence is finally proposed that, making use of the previously introduced tools and considering the real interests of the students, tries to extract the maximum benefit from the available resources. The final chapter is devoted to future lines of research, considering the characteristics and circumstances of education in China. En el presente trabajo se presenta el desarrollo de una experiencia didáctica que se ha desarrollado en un grupo de segundo curso del grado de Traducción e Interpretación de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. El objetivo principal del proyecto fue que los estudiantes aprendieran las características propias del lenguaje en los medios de comunicación. Este proyecto se ha llevado a cabo mediante una metodología de clase invertida, cooperativa y apoyada en elementos audiovisuales. Los resultados obtenidos han sido muy satisfactorios, puesto que como se explica en el desarrollo del trabajo, el resultado de aprendizaje de los alumnos ha sido considerablemente mejor que en el curso anterior. Se han podido cotejar los resultados de aprendizaje tanto cuantitativa como cualitativamente, al ser un grupo con el que se trabajó también el curso pasado. Por consiguiente, el nivel de satisfacción global del proyecto es muy destacable. Consideramos de interés la difusión de esta propuesta porque ha demostrado una gran validez pedagógica en el grupo de muestra. Del mismo modo, presenta una gran utilidad puesto que, con las correspondientes adaptaciones curriculares, se puede emplear en otros niveles del aula de Lengua española., This paper describes the development of a didactic experience undertaken in a second grade group in the Translation and Interpret-ing degree at Rey Juan Carlos University. The project was aimed at helping students to learn the specific characteristics of mass media language. This project has been carried out through an inverted, cooperative class meth-odology supported by audiovisual elements. Highly satisfactory results were obtained since, as explained throughout the paper, students’ learning results were considerably improved compared to those of the previous year. The qualitative and quantitative comparison of the learning results has been possible due to the fact that we worked with this group the previous year. The obtained results lead to an overall highly remarkable satisfaction level with the project. We consider that dissemination of this proposal is of great use because it has shown great pedagogical validity for the sample group. In the same way, it is very useful since, with the corresponding content adaptations, it can be applied in different levels of the Spanish Lan-guage classroom.

Uno de los últimos retos que enfrenta la educación en la actualidad es la aplicación de lo que se conoce como clase invertida o "Flipped classroom". Esta consiste en que los alumnos estudien la materia fuera del aula, donde profundizan y ejercitan lo aprendido mediante la realización de diversas actividades, sobre todo prácticas. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión bibliográfica en torno a esta nueva estrategia pedagógica., One of the latest challenges facing education today is the application of what is known as Flipped class­room. Una de las causas por la que la mayoría de nuestros estudiantes presentan apatía y dificultades en su conceptualización matemática, es quizá la discontinuidad en procesos escolares y el poco acompañamiento del docente en su proceso formativo y de aprendizaje, lo cual se ve reflejado en los múltiples desaciertos conceptuales creados, de comprensión y por la carencia de conceptos matemáticos indispensables para afrontar sus estudios y aprendizajes a nivel universitario. A pesar de las diferentes metodologías de enseñanza que la institución educativa ha intentado implementar, no se ha logrado disminuir significativamente ésta problemática y cada vez aumenta más. Es por esta razón, que el compromiso principal de quienes compartimos conocimiento a través de la enseñanza, es estructurar y modificar las secciones de clase, investigando estrategias didácticas que permitan al estudiante una apropiación adecuada de los conceptos matemáticos. Como ruta fundamental que oriente y propicie el aprendizaje durante la enseñanza de las desigualdades cuadráticas, se pretende vinculara este proceso las tecnologías de información y comunicación, y de esta forma buscar una posible mejoría en la comprensión de este importante concepto matemático. Al hacer uso de un moocs, o curso virtual bajo la plataforma Moodle como herramienta de apoyo se tendría la posibilidad abierta y permanente de fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje aplicando el método Pólya a la clase invertida, donde el estudiante por fuera de clase puede mantener contacto permanente con sus pares, esclarecer inquietudes a través de información actualizada y de interés en el contexto escolar. Education and pedagogy are being transformed by developments in information technology and advances in learning theory that provide opportunities for improved outcomes in agricultural engineering education. The flipped classroom is a pedagogical model in which learning activities not requiring human interaction take place outside the classroom (enabled by technology) and learning activities requiring human interaction take place in the classroom (virtual or physical). A pilot study compared the performance and preference by graduate students in a food chain logistics agricultural engineering course learning using a flipped classroom and a traditional face-to-face lecture modes of instruction. Two contiguous modules were developed in both modes of instruction. Students were divided into two groups, each group learning the course material using one module in each mode of instruction. Students learning by the flipped classroom mode of instruction achieved significantly higher and more uniform test scores. Mean percentage scores for the flipped classroom ranged from 97.6% to 100% while mean scores under the conventional lecture ranged from 62% to 78.5%, with standard deviations ranging from 0 to 2.1 and 18.7 to 23.6, respectively.
