This article examines the financing tools for environmental projects that ensure an effective flow and transfer of capital between global investors. All this is aimed at expanding the use of "green" technologies, strengthening "green" culture and environmental sustainability, as well as solving the problem of climate change during the global energy transition. The study noted that improving the energy efficiency of countries and economies will be crucial in order to meet climate ambitions, ensure growth and improve well-being, especially to achieve the goal in terms of carbon emissions in the long term. Energy efficiency in the financial industry is considered an attractive investment, as it generates new dynamics to accelerate and expand private financing of investments and make these investments more effective for investors. The publication lists various instruments for financing environmental projects. The distribution of funds distributed among various programs within the framework of the EU's next-generation economic recovery program for the period from 2020 to 2027 and the Use of green bond programs in Europe in 2014-2021 by industry are also presented in the form of graphs. Financing instruments for environmental projects play a key role in promoting sustainable development and reducing negative environmental impacts. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in "green" financing, which includes various financial instruments aimed at supporting environmentally friendly technologies and projects. Crowdfunding as an alternative source of financing: Crowdfunding allows you to attract an unlimited number of investors with different levels of financial literacy and accessibility, which makes it attractive for environmental projects. The relevance of the article is due to the insignificant contribution of microfinance to the development of the Russian economic system, especially in the context of supporting small and medium-sized businesses. However, the regulator sees it as a promising sector of the financial market and considers its progressive development necessary. The purpose of the work is to study the current state and identify trends in the development of the microfinance market in Russia. The methodological basis of the study includes empirical observation and analysis. During the work, official statistical data and scientific publications on the topic of microfinance have been used. The article provides a review of current legislative documents regulating the microfinance sector, and analyses the state of the market based on statistical data. It is substantiated that some elements of the monetary and financial policies pursued in the Russian Federation can be applied for the successful development of the microfinance sector, contribute to its effective and balanced work, and improve accessibility and sustainability. In the course of the work, key directions for the development of the microfinance market are formed: improving regulation and supervision; promoting financial literacy of the population; application of digital technologies; expansion and diversification of the product portfolio, development of partnerships, social entrepreneurship, which contribute to the sustainable development of this segment of the financial market. Particular attention is paid to a detailed analysis of improving the regulatory framework for microfinance in Russia from the point of view of legislation on bankruptcy of individuals, stimulating innovation and digitalisation, and supporting social entrepreneurship.

The conditions for the use of IT and EU approaches in EEP and the level of their implementation in Ukraine are indicated. Taking into account the peculiarities of the development of RA and the existing threats, the goals of EEP that are significant for Ukraine have been singled out. Prerequisites for acquiring a synergistic nature of the ecological development of RA are established. It is indicated that the approaches of the EU regarding the implementation of the state EEP in RA under the significant uncertainty caused by the war should be considered as a strategic perspective for Ukraine, and the task of state management becomes the formation of framework conditions for the further ecological development of RA and the approbation of IT for such development. As global practice shows, the fundamental mechanism for optimizing the activities of public authorities is strategic management, which involves the development and introduction of the latest technology to optimize their functioning and contributes to the formation of positive trends in the innovative development of the entire public administration system. Therefore, this article, based on the analysis of modern problems in the formation of strategic management in the development of the public sphere, demonstrates the expediency of using the strategic management methodology in the development of the public sphere to ensure its effective formation. The main strategic management tasks of state authorities are determined, solutions to which must be derived in compliance with the criteria of effectiveness and social responsibility. The need to change the management culture in the public sector is substantiated – in particular, the introduction of a strategic approach to management in the activities of state authorities is encouraged. The place and role of strategic management in the organization of the activities of state administration entities is defined. The main tasks of the strategic management of state authorities are also outlined, solutions to which must be carried out in compliance with the criteria of efficiency and social responsibility. The main stages of strategic management in the public sphere are characterized, the observance of which enables state authorities to quickly solve organizational problems and, in general, ensure the effective functioning of the public administration system at all levels. The key conditions for the effective work of state authorities in Ukraine are identified, and both modern innovative strategic management tools and the possibilities of their use in domestic state authorities are analyzed. It is substantiated that the analysis of strategic alternatives and the justification of strategy is conceptual task of strategic management, the achievement of which requires the use of an interrelated set of tools. The main directions of the development of the system of management of the activities of public sphere entities are studied, and it is emphasized that this should change in accordance with general trends in the development of management science. The implementation of strategic approaches should become a priority area of implementation for the new concept of public sector management. The stages of the strategic management of public sector entities are also proposed, taking into account their purpose and role in the development of the country and the objective of reforming the general public administration sector.

Relying on pesticides to safeguard crops has led to pest resistance and detrimental environmental and health consequences. Many integrated pest management programs focus on producers' decision-making processes when selecting and implementing pest management interventions. Alternative approaches such as integrated pest management and biological control have been implemented to address these challenges, with Greece as the research area. A quantitative study was oriented to consumers and producers to investigate their views on the effectiveness of pesticides, aiming to assess whether these perspectives influence their attitudes toward adopting pest management practices. Primary data were gathered through structured questionnaires to consumers and producer associations (focusing on tomatoes, olives, and citrus fruits) and analyzed through multivariate methods. The findings unveiled varying preferences and concerns regarding plant protection tools, with considerations such as product effectiveness, method awareness, and sustainability. Specifically, the study revealed aspects like the popularity and demand for specific plant protection tools, the knowledge of these experts about products and pest control methods, and their stance on sustainable agriculture and environmental aspects of pest control. There is a profound impact of technology on education and students, encompassing both the positive and negative consequences. The integration of technology in classrooms has transformed traditional teaching methods, offering innovative tools and resources that enhance the learning experience. It has empowered students with access to vast amounts of information, personalized learning opportunities, and interactive educational materials. Moreover, technology has enabled collaborative learning environments, fostering teamwork and communication skills among students. However, along with its benefits, technology in education also poses challenges. The research is aimed at testing hypotheses about the positive impact of educational robots on the development of educational programs and motivation of students. The main objective of the meta-analysis is to determine the overall impact of educational robotic interventions on the cognitive outcomes of primary school students, comparing them with conditions unrelated to robotics. For this purpose, eight scientific articles published from 2018 to 2022 were selected and included in the analysis. The calculated standardized mean difference (Hedge's g) for each study made it possible to compare the effects of learning using robots and traditional learning. The results of the meta-analysis show that learning using robots has a moderate positive effect (Hedge's g = 0.64, 95% CI [0.44; 0.84]) compared with traditional learning. The analysis of publication bias did not reveal significant deviations, which confirms the reliability of the results. The data obtained can be useful for teachers and administrators, providing strong evidence of the effectiveness of educational methods based on robots and helping to make informed decisions about allocating resources for the development of this field of study. The article examines the importance of feedback in the context of educational programs on robotics for elementary school students in order to develop computational thinking. Feedback is a key element of the learning process, which stimulates active interaction of students with the material, provides an opportunity to adapt action strategies in accordance with the tasks set and contributes to improving the effectiveness of learning. As a result, the integration of feedback into educational programs on robotics is an important component for the successful development of computational thinking in elementary school students. In order to support the mission of the institution in which they are attached, academic libraries provide services in both manual and digital but COVID-19 pandemic that spanned between March and September, 2020 has changed the scenario. With particular reference to Nigeria, about 249,606 cases were confirmed and in order to curb the scourge of this deadly disease, physical academic activities were prevented by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). With this development, innovative tools became indispensable tools for successful delivery of library services in Nigerian academic libraries. Whether or not these tools are still in use for reformation of library service during post-Covid era remains unclear, hence, need for this study. This study examined librarians' use of innovative tools for information dissemination in Nigerian academic libraries during the post-Covid era using a descriptive survey design. Data were obtained both in quantitative and qualitative formats from one hundred and forty-four librarians as respondents. A total enumeration sampling technique was adopted because the population was minimal. Findings of the study revealed that innovative tools such as videoconferencing, WhatsApp, teleconferencing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and web-based learning applications are still in use by librarians for the dissemination of information during the post-Covid era. These tools are useful and beneficial to librarians during the post-COVID era, as they facilitate easy participation and engagement of library users in various discussions. Inadequate funding and lack of advanced technology skills were also identified as major impediments to the successful use of innovative tools for information dissemination. As a result, it was suggested that academic libraries throughout Nigeria prioritize staff training on the necessary digital skills needed to cope in this advanced technology era. Over the past two decades, minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) has gained a significant place due to the emergence of innovative tools and improvements in surgical techniques, offering comparable efficacy and safety to traditional surgical methods. This review provides an overview of the history of MICS, its current state, and its prospects and highlights its advantages and limitations. Additionally, we highlight the growing trends and potential pathways for the expansion of MICS, underscoring the crucial role of technological advancements in shaping the future of this field. Legumes are an important and sustainable source of protein, dietary fiber and phytochemicals. Due to their composition, legumes have been used in enriched foodstuffs and recognized as a vital food resource for human diet, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer. In the last years, in order to replace conventional analysis, more eco-friendly and faster methodologies have been applied to evaluate legumes' quality. The aim of this review is to encourage the consumption and production of legumes by promoting their dissemination, understanding their nutritional and functional value, and promoting the use of innovative methodologies to assess the composition of legumes. Aquatic environmental pollution is a rather worrying and increasingly topical problem that requires the development and promotion of innovative and ecofriendly technologies. Pollutants in water include many common substances that can reach aquatic ecosystems through several pathways including wastewater, the atmosphere, ship discharges, and many other sources. Most of these toxic compounds are internalized by aquatic organisms, leading to bioaccumulation in tissues and reaching any level of the food chain through the biomagnification process. These mechanisms can develop into adverse effects on the physiology of organisms and biochemical processes of natural ecosystems, thus affecting animals, environments, and indirectly, human health. Innovative technologies to tackle marine pollution include bioremediation: a suitable, biological, and ecological approach that enhances the ability of micro-organisms to transform waste and toxic substances into forms that can be used by other organisms. In this context, micro-organisms appear to be essential for the detoxification of aquatic systems due to their metabolic activity. This review provides a careful analysis of the characteristics of the main pollutants that affect aquatic ecosystems, with a focus on their effects on organisms and environments. The object of research is the reengineering of business processes, which is used to increase the effectiveness of strategic management of an enterprise, which will create a new type of environmental enterprise «bioalliance». One of the most problematic places is the possibility of conducting marketing research to ensure the competitiveness of enterprises. The paper used the hypothetical method in substantiating the theoretical and methodological principles of organization and functioning of bio-alliances as the basis of bio-economy for rural areas. The study used the economic-statistical method, ranking of economic zoning, correlation and regression and cluster analysis. These methods were used in the elaboration of directions, sources and strategies of development, components of system and process management, state support for the implementation of traditional and new socio-economic and environmental functions. Also in the course of the work, methods of ideal modelling, mathematical modelling and programming, abstract-logical and structural-logical, extrapolation, expert evaluations, surveys, observations, qualitative and quantitative, imaginary and social experiments were used. The results of the market analyses of agricultural companies showed the inexpediency of agricultural companies. Based on the research, modelling and re-engineering of business processes through the implementation of organisational, corporate, business and functional strategies was proposed. The new form of agrarian enterprises, proposed in the work, is «bioalliance», based on the principles of integration of tourism sphere, sphere of organic production and production of eco-commodities, as well as using bio-resources as the main source. Compared to similar known methodologies of strategic management, the proposed methodology provides enterprises with a high level of importance in the regions, increasing the efficiency of the use of the resources available in their ownership. BackgroundIn the endgame of the elimination initiative of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) on the Indian subcontinent, one of the main questions remaining is whether asymptomatically infected individuals also contribute to transmission. We piloted a minimally invasive microbiopsy device that could help answer this question. While the potential of this device has been previously illustrated in Ethiopia, no such information is available for the setting of the Indian subcontinent. In this proof of concept study we aimed to assess 1) to what extent skin parasite load obtained with the new microbiopsy device correlates with disease status, 2) to what extent skin parasite load correlates with blood parasite load in the same subject, and 3) to what extent the skin parasite load obtained from different sampling sites on the body correlates with one another.MethodsWe performed a pilot study in Bihar, India, including 29 VL patients, 28 PKDL patients, 94 asymptomatically infected individuals, 22 endemic controls (EC), and 28 non-endemic controls (NEC). Presence of infection with L. donovani in the blood was assessed using Direct Agglutination Test, rK39 ELISA, Whole Blood Analysis measuring IFN-γ and qPCR. A skin sample was collected with the microbiopsy device on two different locations on the body. PKDL patients provided a third skin sample from the edge of a PKDL lesion. Parasite load in the skin was measured by qPCR.FindingsWe found a clear correlation between the skin parasite load obtained with the microbiopsy device and disease status, with both higher skin parasite loads and higher proportions of positive skin samples in VL and PKDL patients compared to asymptomatics, EC, and NEC. No clear correlation between skin parasite load and blood parasite load was found, but a moderate correlation was present between the skin parasite load in arm and neck samples. In addition, we found four positive skin samples among asymptomatic individuals, and 85% of PKDL lesions tested positive using this microbiopsy device.ConclusionsIn line with previous pilot studies, our results from an Indian setting suggest that the microbiopsy device provides a promising tool to measure skin parasite load, and – if validated by xenodiagnosis studies – could facilitate much needed larger scale studies on infectiousness of human subgroups. The purpose of the article is the formation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the organizational-economic mechanism of the use of benchmarking for further implementation in the practical activities of domestic agricultural enterprises. Research methods. Based on the analysis of the current development trends of the world agricultural leaders regarding the use of benchmarking at foreign enterprises, the theoretical foundations of understanding the definition of "agricultural benchmarking" and its main elements are identified. Using the expert method of research, it was determined that, agricultural enterprises, in addition to large agricultural holdings, do not use benchmarking. It was also found that the significant potential of agriculture in Ukraine, the growth of export volumes of products of the industry determine the importance of attracting proven foreign technologies to increase the level of innovation of agricultural enterprises and their management quality. Research results. The author's understanding of benchmarking processes of the theoretical and practical point of view is disclosed. The organizational and economic mechanism of the use of benchmarking in the activities of agricultural enterprises is built. It's emphasized that the functioning of organizational-economic mechanism of benchmarking in the management of agricultural enterprises is directly related with the need to increase the level of agrarian enterprises competitiveness, in particular certain types of their products. Scientific novelty. The author's position on the formation of the organizational and economic mechanism of the use of benchmarking of agricultural enterprises is proposed, which will improve the management decision-making processes, to activate the tools of the effective realization of economic potential and renovation of potentially profitable directions of the development, and to find latent opportunities to increase the efficiency of agricultural enterprises. An object of research is attraction of deposit resources by banks for the purpose of ensuring liquidity of a bank system and stability of currency circulation as levers of economic growth in the country. Scientific developments of domestic and foreign scientists, fundamental theoretical provisions of economic science on attraction of deposit resources and an assessment of their influence on cash system of the country became a methodological basis of article. In the course of research general scientific methods are used so: system approach - for development of strategy of enhancement of attraction of means of the population by banks; formal and dialectic logic, the analysis, synthesis, logical generalization - for the characteristic of modern approaches to determination of essence of deposit policy of bank; group and the factorial analysis - for detection of internal and external factors of influence on the mechanism of attraction by banks of deposit resources and determination of features of their manifestation in modern conditions. Methods of expert evaluations, the analysis of hierarchies, comparisons are the basis for the analysis of a condition of deposits and development of scientific and methodical approach to the choice of strategy of banks for the purpose of improvement of bank liquidity and stability of cash system of the country; the correlation and regression analysis - for an assessment of macroeconomic factors of forming of a deposit portfolio of a bank system of Ukraine. In article the assessment of activities of banks for forming of deposit resources is carried out. It is determined that a main objective of deposit strategy of bank institutions is attraction of bigger amount of money at the smallest price. The general and specific principles of forming of strategy of attraction of deposits by banks are allocated. Need of creation of new types of deposits which would be interesting to clients is proved and are profitable to banks. It is proved that implementation of the latest instruments of borrowing of deposit resources will allow not only to reduce overall bank risk, to maintain financial stability and reliability of bank, but also will provide stability of cash system of the country. The conclusion is drawn that introduction and expansion of innovative banking services in implementation process of deposit policy shall be combined with fixed enhancement of the traditional directions of customer service. Implementation of organizational, standard and legal and economic mechanisms of attraction of deposit resources for increase of liquidity of banks and ensuring stability of national monetary unit is offered. It is specified that the exit to the new level of implementation of deposit activities is possible only on condition of building-up of the equity of Fund of guaranteeing household deposits. Actions for the prevention and decrease in deposit risks, enhancement of the mechanism of attraction of deposit resources are developed. Results of research can be used in practical activities of banks of Ukraine, are implemented in the educational sphere during the research work of students and graduate students.

Purpose- Innovation repositions and strengthens the competitive advantage and revenue drive of corporate businesses. The aim of this study is to assess the extent of the process and product innovation in Nigerian Quantity Surveying firms with a view to determining the innovative tools/concepts used. Design/Methodology- The study adopted a questionnaire survey in which simple random sampling was used to collect data from Quantity Surveyors working with Quantity Surveying firms in the study area. Relative importance Index, mean score, frequencies, andpercentages were used to analyze the data collected, and Rogers' innovation adopters categorization was employed to determine the level of adoption of innovation by Quantity Surveyors. Findings- The study found that Quantity Surveying firms do not engage the services of innovation specialist because of financial constraint. The most adopted innovative tools/concept by Quantity Surveying firms are MS Excel, Computer Aided Taking-off, CATO, and CA Estimating, and these firms are an early majority in the adoption of process and product/technological innovations. Practical Implications- The study would assist Quantity Surveying firms who have notembraced innovation to do so, by adopting and incorporating innovative practices in the running of the business transactions and operations to improve clients' satisfaction, profit generation, andcompany image.

In nature, different types of bacteria including pathogenic and beneficial ones exist in different habitats including environment, plants, animals, and humans. Among these, the pathogenic bacteria should be detected at earlier stages of infection; however, the conventional bacterial detection procedures are complex and time-consuming. In contrast, the advanced molecular approaches such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) have significantly reduced the detection time; nevertheless, such approaches are not acceptable to a large extent and are mostly laborious and expensive. Therefore, the development of fast, inexpensive, sensitive, and specific approaches for pathogen detection is essential for different applications in food industry, clinical diagnosis, biological defense and counter-terrorism. To this end, the novel sensing approaches involving bacteriophages as recognition elements are receiving immense consideration owing to their high degree of specificity, accuracy, and reduced assay times. Besides, the phages are easily produced and are tolerant to extreme pH, temperature, and organic solvents as compared to antibodies. To date, several phage-based assays and sensors have been developed involving different systems such as quartz crystal microbalance, magnetoelastic platform, surface plasmon resonance, and electrochemical methods. This review highlights different taxonomic species and genera of phages infecting eight common disease-causing bacterial genera. It further overviews the most recent advancements in phage-based sensing assays and sensors. Likewise, it elaborates various whole-phage and phage components-based assays. Overall, this review emphasizes the importance of electrochemical biosensors as simple, reliable, cost-effective, and accurate tools for bacterial detection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A modern learning environment can be developed by using innovative tools and methods. Benefits of robotics in teaching and learning processes have recently been drawing an increasing attention of researchers. The article aims are to perform a systematic review of the literature on the application of educational robots in schools, in order to identify the experience in the use of robotics in both formal primary, basic, and secondary schools and informal education, e.g. after school activities, summer camps. 16 relevant articles have been selected from the bibliographic databases as part of the systematic literature review. The analysis covers the following components of the articles: research aim, a curriculum taught by using robots, specific teaching methods, other characteristics (sample size, age limits and/or study cycle), and findings. The systematic literature review has shown that robotics has been paving its way as a teaching aid in a more intensive and flexible manner. The systematized findings of the literature review show the need for a further scientific research in this area in Lithuanian schools and may provide educators, practitioners and researchers, working in this area, with valuable guidelines. Drug development is a complicated and lengthy process requiring a significant amount of intellectual and capital input, as well as extensive collaborations among various organizations and institutions. Contract research organizations play important roles at some or even all stages of the drug development process. To provide better service in in vitro drug absorption, disposition, metabolism and excretion studies, maintain data accuracy and promote work efficiency, we developed an integrated information system termed the 'Drug Metabolism Information System', and it is being used routinely by our drug metabolism department. The Drug Metabolism Information System assists scientists with assay design, data analysis and report drafting and thus reduces human error.

Abstract: In today''s industry and production systems it''s important to do mechanics or measurements systems services regularly. In case of damages it is required to eliminate these in shortest time period, to avoid time losses and obviously also financial losses. In case of destructive failure of devices, or their parts it is required to change them for new one. However, nowadays we know various types of techniques which are available for substitution of damaged parts in very short time period. One section of these techniques is reverse engineering. Aquaculture represents the fastest growing primary sector and supports increasing demand for animal proteins and fats. In contemporary times, its prolific growth potential has been challenged by multiple abiotic stressors, including climate change, pollution, water scarcity, etc. Alternatively, increased disease susceptibility, the emergence of new pathogens, and low efficacy of conventional theragnostic tools appear to be the major bottlenecks in tackling sustainability. Nanotechnology has emerged as an innovative and efficacious tool in the field of fish nutrition, biotechnology, genetics, reproduction, pathology and sustaining environmental quality etc. The application of nano-elements enriched feed has deliberately enhanced the fish growth. Emerging nano-materials are currently applied in aquatic system to reduce treatment costs by wiping off pollutants. Genetically manipulated techniques, in combination with nano-biotechnology has revolutionized fish genetics research. Newer usages of nano-sensors, DNA nano-vaccines, nano-inspired genes, and drug delivery systems have reformed the fish health, reproduction, and immune system. In addition, nanotechnology are currently being employed in fish processing industry for sterile packaging, exact flavor, and quality. Optimum utilization of fishery wastes using bio-nano-engineering technique and implication of green nanoparticles have ushered a novel post-harvesting era. Dimensions of applied nanotechnology in the aquatic system are still on the verge of initiation. The present review aimed to provide an in-depth screening into the novel and versatile applications of nanotechnology in aquaculture alongwith its prospects and challenges. • Different applications of nanotechnology for progressive next- generation aquaculture are described. • Nanotechnology could herald a sustainable, eco-friendly aquaculture. • Toxicity and environmental policy issues related to aquaculture are illustrated. • Future opportunities of green nano-enabled aquaculture are deciphered.
