Experiments were conducted throughout 2009 and 2010. At the beginning of experiments, both in 2009 and in 2010, were formed two groups (M-control group; E-experimental group), each group far 600 rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Control group M has been exploited in the Fiad trout farm, Bistriţa-Năsăud County, and the experimental group E was operated in a recirculating system arranged in Cluj-Napoca. Experiments were conducted over 210 days, both in 2009 and in 2010. Initial body weight of the specimens was 22.70±0.40 g – group M, and 22.68±0.39 – group E, in 2009. In the second experimental series (2010), the initial body weight of the rainbow trout specimens was 22.69±0.28 g – group M, respectively 22.56±0.31 g – group E. To determine the body size indices, we made measurements and weighings in all age groups exploited. Based on measurements, we calculated: K – Fulton condition factor; Ig – thickness factor; Ip – profile indices; Ica – quality indices; Ic1-meat index expressed as percentage of head lenght from standard lenght of fish; Ic2- meat index expressed as percentage of caudal peduncle lenght from standard lenght of fish. Analysing the value of body size indices in rainbow trout in the two test series (2009 and 2010) we found that they are directly proportional to fish weight, but are significantly influenced by the environmeltal conditions and the feeding rate. The mean values of body size indices (K, Ip, Ig, Ica, Ic1 and Ic2) in rainbow trout from the two experimental series, fall within the range cited in the special literature.

Slaughter yield is one of the most important indices of meat production, which in the current legislation, dealing with employment în quality classes and to establish the commercial value of fish or other animals. To make our research, were slaughtered by mechanical stunning, 25 rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), from Fiad trout farm, BistriţaNăsăud County (M group), respectively 25 rainbow trout from an recirculating system arranged in Cluj-Napoca (E group). The average weight of the studied specimens was similar (228.96±1.21 g-M group, respectively 229.40±1.24 g-E group; d= -0.44 g, p>0.05). Slaughter yield obtained in the goup M was 89.23±0.05%, and in the group E 90.55±0.03%. Results showed that in gravimetric terms, the differences are insignificant between the two groups (d=3.43 g, p>0,05), but in percentage terms, the differences are negative and very significant (d=1.32%, p

A Recirculating Aquacultural System (RAS) can be defined as an aquacultural system that incorporates the treatment and reuse of water with less than 10% of the total water volume replaced per day and in which the environmental conditions are being controlled. The concept of RAS is to reuse a volume of water through continuous treatment. The research was made during 13.12.2006-13.04.2007 and it took place in a home made bio-base. The main goal of this project was the construction of a mini recirculating aquacultural system, a functional RAS for rainbow trout and secondary to observe the evolution of rainbow trout in this system.

Sadnice kadifice 'Orange Boy' proizvedene su u negrijanom plasteniku u supstratu Humokomprovit H1, uz primjenu različitih tehnika uzgoja: izravna sjetva u kontejnere volumena sjetvenog mjesta 75 ml i 80 ml, kao i sjetvom omaške u jednostavne sjetvene stiroporne kontejnere uz dodatno pikiranje 15 dana nakon sjetve. Presađivanje presadnica obavljeno je u fazi prva dva lista 62 dana nakon sjetve u lončiće promjera 10 cm. Tijekom kultivacije obavljena su dva tretiranja Bio-algeenom S-90, 28 i 68 dana nakon sjetve, zalijevanjem u koncentraciji 0,5 % i folijarno otopinom 0,2 %. Praćenje porasta je obavljeno 35, 60 i 80 dana nakon sjetve, bonitiranjem visine biljke, broja formiranih listova po biljci, broja pupoljaka i otvorenih cvjetova, kao pokazatelje porasta i kvalitete sadnica kadifice. Tehnologija proizvodnje presadnica značajno utječe na kvalitetu sadnica. Presadnice proizvedene sjetvom u stiroporne kontejnere uz pikiranje zaostaju u razvoju i formiranju broja listova, pupoljaka i cvjetova u odnosu na presadnice izravno sijane u kontejnere sjetvenih mjesta volumena 75 i 80 ml. Primjena ekološkog sredstva za stimuliranje rasta presadnica Bio-algeen S-90 dva puta tijekom proizvodnog ciklusa i zalijevanjem 0,5 % i folijarno 0,2 %, nije pokazalo značajnije efekte niti na visinu biljaka i broj listova, niti na broj formiranih pupoljaka i otvorenih cvjetova., Marigold ‘Orange Boy’ seedlings were produced in a cold plastic greenhouse in Humokomprovit H1 media. Three different sowing techniques were implemented: the first two involved direct sowing into containers of 75 and 80 ml volume respectively, while the third technique involved sowing in simple shallow boxes and subsequently transplanting into 80 ml containers 15 days after sowing, when the seedlings reached the stage of two true leaves. Sixty-two days upon sowing all seedlings were transplanted into pots of 10 cm in diameter and 0.4 l in volume. During cultivation, to support the growth, marigold seedlings were treated with Bio-algeen S-90, 28 and 68 days after sowing, and were either watered with 0.5% solution or sprayed with 0.2% solution. Growth and quality parameters such as plant height, leaf number, floral bud and open flower number were investigated, with measurements conducted 35, 60 and 80 days after sowing. Cultivation technique has a significant influence on marigold seedlings quality. Seedlings produced with additional transplantation lagged behind in development, growth, leaf, floral bud and open flower number compared to the variants directly sown in 75 or 80 ml volume containers. The application of Bioalgeen to stimulate seedling growth showed no significant effect, neither on plant height and leaf number, nor on floral bud and open flower number.
