The article’s field of scientific research is the jewelry art of Western Europe of the Renaissance period and the age of Mannerism. The subject of analysis is a pendant in the shape of a ship as the main type of personal decoration of the 16th century. Its functions, stylistic features of the late Renaissance and Mannerist stages, reasons for its popularity in later times are analyzed. The importance of the marine theme for the decoration of pendants of the given era is emphasized, the ship is singled out as the main motif of the decoration of pendants, the varieties of this type of jewelry are characterized, the peculiarities of their decoration by jewelers of the leading European schools (French, Italian, German, Spanish, English, Austrian). Suspensions without staffing, suspensions with staffing, and suspensions with gondolas are highlighted as the most popular. The existence of planar ornaments and designed for a comprehensive view, i.e. voluminous, was noted, which was explained by different means of wearing them. The main materials and jewelry stones used by artists to decorate this type of jewelry, the attraction to enamels, the tradition of using mainly pearl bands are highlighted. It was established that the dominant metal for jewelers was gold, and the most popular gems for decorating pendants in this period were emeralds, wood, shell, horn or even glass were used, baroque pearls were very fond of, which could become the basis of the entire pendant. The popularity of ship motif pendants in the 19th century, when this ornament once again entered jewelry fashion, is emphasized, and the differences between Renaissance models and their later counterparts are considered. The causes of problems with the dating and attribution of jewelry are characterized, the solution of which is one of the promising tasks of art history. The analysis was made on the basis of works from the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the State Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg), the Metropolitan Museum (New York), and the Museum of Instrumental Art (Budapest). Стаття має полем наукового пошуку ювелірне мистецтво Західної Європи ренесансового періоду та доби маньєризму. Предметом аналізу є підвіска у формі корабля як основной тип особистої прикраси XVI ст. Проаналізовано її функції, стилістичні особливості пізньоренесансового та маньєристичного етапів, причини популярності в пізніші часи. Підкреслено значення морської тематики для декору підвісок означеної доби, виокремлено корабель як основний мотив декору підвісок, охарактеризовано різновиди прикрас такого типу, особливості їх оздоблення ювелірами провідних європейських шкіл (французькими, італійськими, німецькими, іспанськими, англійськими, австрійськими). Виявлено як найпопулярніші підвіски без стаффажу, підвіски зі стаффажем, окремо акцентовано підвіски з гондолами. Зазначено існування площинних прикрас і розрахованих на всебічний огляд, тобто об’ємних, що пояснювалося різними засобами їх носіння. Висвітлено основні матеріали та ювелірне каміння, що використовували митці для оздоблення прикрас цього типу, тяжіння до емалей, традицію застосовувати переважно перлинні панделоки. Встановлено, що домінуючим металом для ювелірів було золото, а найпопулярнішим камінням при оздобленні підвісок у даний період були смарагд, вдавалися до використання дерева, мушлі, рогу або навіть скла, дуже полюбляли барокові перли, що могли стати основою всієї підвіски. Акцентовано популярність підвісок на мотив корабля і у ХІХ ст., коли в ювелірну моду знову увійшла ця прикраса, розглянуто відмінності ренесансових зразків та їх пізніших аналогів. Охарактеризовані причини проблем із датуванням та атрибуцією прикрас, вирішення яких є одним із перспективних мистецтвознавчих завдань. Аналіз зроблений на базі творів із колекцій Музею Вікторії та Альберта (Лондон), Державного Ермітажу (Санкт-Петербург), Метрополітен Музею (Нью-Йорк), Музею приладного мистецтва (Будапешт).

Origin and evolution of the gondola have been reconstructed from historical and documentary written and pictorial sources (figures in books, engravings and paintings), in relation to the physical environment of the Lagoon, its morpho-dynamics with shallow and deep waters, marshes and canals. Particular care has been applied to the physical and hydrodynamic aspects in order to interpret the data and understand how the ancient Venetians could have had an advanced knowledge of the tidal range from sea stairs, tidal phase from the algae colour and direction, bottom depth from surface ripples, and exchanges between the Lagoon and the sea from suspended debris. The various elements of the boat are considered in terms of use and physical advantage, e.g. rowing style, cabin, hull and decorations. The boat evolution has been followed and documented over the centuries. This study clarifies the original shape of the gondola in the 11th century, from the analysis of the contemporary manuscripts and Byzantine mosaics in Ravenna and Venice, and a tablet of the early 14th century. In the 16th century, the gondola changed shape and size. The reason of this restyling was unknown, but has been found in the contemporary edicts, diaries and chronicles and other historical sources. The transformation was kept as a military secret, as well the production of a fleet of small boats provided of rostrums to sail on the rivers Po and Adige and fight against Ferrara and its Allies of the League of Cambrai. A comparison with the Viking- Norman vessels of Bayeux, Palermo and some codices show several strong analogies with the military gondolas of the 16th century. An overview of the written and pictorial sources has allowed to classify the various gondola types and recognize several technical details. Finally, the size and depth have been considered to interpret the ancient chronicles that mentioned that in the occasion of the most extreme storm surges, the gondolas could ride on San Marco Square, i.e. the flooding water depth necessary to float and to navigate over street paving. L'origine et l'évolution de la gondole vénitienne ont été reconstituées à partir de sources écrites et picturales historiques et iconographiques (figures de livres, gravures et peintures), en relation avec l'environnement physique de la lagune de Venise, en particulier sa morphodynamique caractérisée par des eaux de profondeurs variables et la présence de marais et de canaux. Un soin particulier a été porté aux aspects hydrodynamiques afin d'interpréter les données et de comprendre comment les anciens Vénitiens avaient une connaissance avancée de l'amplitude des marées par l’observation des escaliers marins, de la phase des marées grâce à la direction des algues, la profondeur des fonds lagunaires ou les échanges entre la lagune et la mer à partir des débris en suspension. Les différents éléments de la gondole sont analysés en termes d'utilisation et d'avantage, par ex. le style d'aviron, la cabine, la coque ou les décorations. L'évolution du bateau a été suivie et documentée au fil des siècles. Cette étude précise la forme originale de la gondole au XIe siècle, à partir de l'analyse de manuscrits contemporains, des mosaïques byzantines de Ravenne et de Venise et d'une tablette du début du XIVe siècle. Au XVIe siècle, la gondole change de forme et de taille. La raison de cette transformation était inconnue, mais a été retrouvée dans les édits contemporains, les journaux, les chroniques et d'autres sources historiques. La transformation fut gardée comme un secret militaire, ainsi que la production d'une flotte de petits bateaux munis de rostres pour naviguer sur le Pô et l’Adige et lutter contre Ferrare et ses alliés de la ligue de Cambrai. Une comparaison avec les navires vikings-normands de Bayeux, de Palerme et certains codex montrent plusieurs analogies fortes avec les gondoles militaires du XVIe siècle. Un aperçu des sources écrites et picturales a permis de classer les différents types de gondole et de reconnaître plusieurs détails techniques. Enfin, la taille et la profondeur ont été prises en compte pour interpréter les anciennes chroniques qui mentionnaient qu'à l'occasion des ondes de tempête maximales, les gondoles pouvaient naviguer sur la place Saint‑Marc, permettant d’estimer la profondeur d'eau nécessaire pour flotter dans les rues.

L’article propose une brève analyse des facteurs, tant environnementaux que fonctionnels, à l'origine des formes des embarcations lagunaires traditionnelles, dont la gondole, et de la manière dont celles-ci ont progressivement évolué au fil des siècles dans la recherche d'une meilleure efficacité. La méthodologie de construction des bateaux vénitiens et les particularités structurelles de la gondole sont ensuite brièvement expliquées. On verra que ces traditions de construction navale qui sont l'héritage d'un passé, ont pour caractéristique d’être certes empiriques dans leur conception, mais extrêmement soignées et précises dans leur réalisation. The paper proposes a brief analysis of the factors, both environmental and functional, that gave rise to the shapes of traditional lagoon boats, including the gondola, and how they gradually evolved over the centuries in the search for greater efficiency. The construction methodology of Venetian boats and the structural characteristics of the gondola are then briefly explained. It will be seen that these traditions of shipbuilding, which are the legacy of a past, have the characteristic of being empirical in their design, but extremely careful and precise in their realization.

Dans la petite construction navale vénitienne, l'évolution des techniques à la recherche d'améliorations fonctionnelles et esthétiques toujours nouvelles repose sur les procédés empiriques. Les guildes ont joué un rôle fondamental dans la garantie de la spécialisation et de la haute qualité des artisans jusqu'à leur suppression, également pour cette raison, par Napoléon, puis par les Habsbourg. La domination étrangère a ainsi figé certaines chaînes de production dans leur organisation préindustrielle, de sorte qu'elles ont survécu pratiquement à l'identique jusqu'à nos jours. Mais aujourd'hui, elles risquent de disparaître sous la pression des dernières nouvelles révolutions technologiques. Comme certains artisans les pratiquent encore, nous savons à quel point ces techniques anciennes sont fonctionnelles dans le cadre du processus de création qui inspire les métiers de la construction navale. La perte d'un tel patrimoine culturel immatériel entraînerait donc la dissolution d'une approche particulière de la création et du design, d'une manière de penser et de transformer les matériaux : ce serait renoncer à un contexte anthropologique essentiel à la compréhension de notre civilisation de l'eau. In small-scale Venetian shipbuilding, the evolution of techniques in search of ever-new functional and aesthetic improvements was based on empirical processes. The guilds played a fundamental role in guaranteeing the specialization and high quality of the craftsmen until they were abolished, also for this reason, by Napoleon and then by the Habsburgs. The foreign domination has thus frozen certain production chains in their pre-industrial organization, so that they have survived practically unchanged until today. But today, they are in danger of disappearing under the pressure of the latest technological revolutions. As some craftsmen still practice them, we know how functional these ancient techniques are in the creative process that inspires the shipbuilding trades. The loss of such an intangible cultural heritage would therefore lead to the dissolution of a particular approach to creation and design, a way of thinking and transforming materials: it would mean giving up an anthropological context that is essential to the understanding of our civilization of water

Aerial ropeway systems, also called gondolas and aerial cable cars, are amongst driverless transportation modes, which are progressively drawing the attention in promoting tourism. Aerial ropeway systems have been operated in touristic spots e.g., over lakes, rivers, and hilly lands in several countries. Passengers can enjoy a view from the above and experience a stress-free and reliable trip. Furthermore, those systems can be exploited as a public transportation in urbanized and populated regions. The objective of this article is to investigate the viability of implementing a gondola line flying over Doha Bay in Qatar as a tourist attraction from the marketing, economic, and environmental point of view. In this study, the associated costs (capital, maintenance, and operating) of implementing a monocable detachable gondola technology(MDG) are estimated using international best practices in the world. The economic analysis outcome demonstrates that the revenues generated from the fares could counterweigh the required capital investment as well as operating and maintenance costs and hence the proposed gondola could be economically attractive for investors. Moreover, no significant negative impacts and footprint on the environment are anticipated at the exploitation phase of the gondola.

Purpose. The work aims at structural-functional description of the existing construction of hatch covers of gondola cars to find possible ways of their modernization and improvement. Methodology. The research and analysis are based on principles of morphological study of technical systems and systems approach. The research takes into account the results of the leading research on the topic, the authors' own development, mathematical justification and computer modeling. Calculation of the structural elements of the rolling stock was carried using modern normative and developed methodologies. Findings. The system approach in creating an innovative hatch cover allowed the design to be presented in the form of a series of interconnected and interacting subsystems, taking into account the main factors of their functioning. Authors developed the structural-functional model of the hatch cover of the gondola car, which showed that the hatch cover plate is the basic element, the structural-parametric and functional properties of which determine the corresponding characteristics of other nodal and base elements of its design. We established that the main functions of the hatch cover are distributed through the constituent elements of the first hierarchical level (between nodes): the frame serves as the reinforcing element of the plate and the base for installing other nodes, except the torsion ones. The proposed theoretical propositions, methodological foundations and practical methods of structural and functional analysis are expedient for using in the search for optimization ways and other elements of rolling stock, as well as objects of transport engineering. Originality. The methodological foundations for the creation of a structural and functional description of the hatch cover are proposed and the results of its implementation are presented, which can be used in studies of the processes of their functioning, perception and redistribution of different types of loads, taxonomy, increasing the degree of their ideality, identification of objects considered in design, repair. Practical value. The structural-functional description allowed projecting an innovative design of the hatch cover, including its frameless execution, a model with a convex design of the plate in the direction of counteracting the mass of the cargo. Using the proposed models of hatch covers, effective modernization of the domestic park of gondola cars is possible.

Cableways have some potential to be used in urban public transportation, particularly uni-directional aerial cable cars with circulating cabins, called gondolas. They have several advantages, but two major problems must be solved: the capacity and the operating speed are not competitive when compared to other means of urban mass transport because of boarding procedures and slowing down and accelerating on intermediate stations. This paper presents constructional solutions that address these problems. It proposes that boarding takes place on at least two platforms; these could be on the same level or on separate levels. At intermediate stations certain cabins are diverted to an extra platform while the majority of cabins travel with unreduced speed. Following this constructional approach, the nominal capacity of gondolas could be doubled while increasing the operational travel speed on lines with lot of intermediate stops.

Работа направлена на создание структурно-функционального анализа существующего выполнения крышек люков полувагонов для поиска возможных путей их модернизации и усовершенствования. Методика. Проведенные исследования и анализ базируются на принципах морфологического изучения технических систем и системного подхода с учетом результатов ведущих исследований по теме, собственных разработок авторов, математическом обосновании и компьютерном моделировании. Расчет конструкционных элементов подвижного состава проведен с помощью современных нормативных и разработанных методик. Результаты. Системный подход при создании инновационной крышки люка позволил представить конструкцию в виде ряда взаимосвязанных и взаимодействующих подсистем, с учетом основных факторов их функционирования. Разработана структурно-функциональная модель крышки люка полувагона, которая показала, что полотно крышки люка есть основным элементом, структурно-параметрические и функциональные свойства которого определяют соответствующие характеристики других узловых и базовых элементов ее конструкции. Установлено, что основные функции крышки люка распределяются через составляющие элементы первого иерархического уровня (между узлами): каркас служит усиливающим элементом полотна и базой для установки других, кроме торсионных, узлов. Предложенные теоретические положения, методологические основы и практические методы структурно-функционального анализа целесообразно использовать при поиске путей оптимизации и других элементов подвижного состава, а также объектов транспортного машиностроения. Научная новизна. Предложены методологические основы создания структурно-функционального описания крышки люка и представлены результаты ее реализации, которые могут быть использованы в исследованиях процессов функционирования, восприятия и перераспределения разных видов нагрузок, таксономии, повышения степени их идеальности, идентификации объектов, рассматриваемых в процессах проектирования, исследования, ремонта. Практическая значимость. Структурно-функциональное описание позволило спроектировать инновационный конструктив крышки люка, в том числе бескаркасное ее выполнение, модель с выпуклой конструкцией полотна в сторону противодействия массе груза. С помощью предложенных моделей крышек разгрузочных люков возможна эффективная модернизация отечественного парка полувагонов., Мета. Робота спрямована на створення структурно-функціонального аналізу існуючого виконання кришок люків напіввагонів і пошук можливих шляхів їх удосконалення та модернізації. Методика. Проведене дослідження, аналіз та узагальнення базуються на принципах морфологічного вивчення технічних систем і системного підходу та враховує результати відомих робіт із теми, власних розробок авторів, математичному обґрунтуванні та комп’ютерному моделюванні. При розрахунках складових рухомого складу використані сучасні нормативні та запропоновані методики. Результати. Системний підхід у створенні інноваційної кришки люка дозволив представити його конструкцію у вигляді ряду взаємопов’язаних і взаємодіючих підсистем та з максимальною повнотою врахувати основні фактори їх функціонування. Розроблено структурно-функціональну модель кришки люка напіввагона, яка показала, що полотно кришки люка є основним елементом, структурно-параметричні та функціональні властивості якого визначають відповідні характеристики інших вузлових та базових елементів її конструкції. Встановлено, що основні функції кришки люка розподіляються через складові елементи першого ієрархічного рівня (між вузлами): каркас є підсилюючим елементом полотна та базою для встановлення інших, окрім торсіонного, вузлів. Запропоновані теоретичні положення, методологічні основи та практичні засоби структурно-функціонального аналізу доцільно використовувати у пошуку шляхів оптимізації та для інших складових рухомого складу, а також об’єктів транспортного машинобудування. Наукова новизна. Запропоновано методологічні основи створення структурно-функціональної моделі кришки люка та результати її реалізації, які можуть бути використані при дослідженнях процесів їх функціонування, дослідженні роботи по сприйняттю та перерозподілу різних видів навантажень, таксономії, підвищення ступеня ідеальності, ідентифікації об’єктів, що розглядаються у процесах проектування, дослідження, ремонтів. Практична значимість. Базуючись на структурно-функціональному описанні, спроектовано інноваційний конструктив кришки люка, зокрема, безкаркасна модель із випуклою конструкцією полотна в сторону протидії маси вантажу, використання яких дозволить ефективно модернізувати вітчизняний парк напіввагонів.

One is located on a dense urban site, one in the forest overlooking the city. The two plots allows for an exploration of symmetry, repetition, variation and ordering systems; one vertical, one horizontal – yet the structures make up the two halves of a whole.

In the context of the industrial maintenance, the present Degree Final Dissertation (DFD) centers in the typology of preventive maintenance applied to wind turbines of a wind farm, from the perspective of the prevention of occupational hazards. Specifically, it concerns to the preventive management of the task of visual inspection made to external level in the top of the same, in the nacelle, and to the implicit risks assessment in said task. With the aim to obtain results, it has analyzed thoroughly the situation of the activity of the maintenance in wind turbines considering the statistics of workplace accidents of the wind sector. Likewise, it has required research, through news, real cases of occupational accidents occurred in wind farms, during the execution of the works of maintenance, to identify the occupational hazards found in the same. Later, with the aim to mitigate the potential risks found in the visual inspection of the nacelle, has proceeded to assess them as the decreed by the Law 31/1995 of Prevention of Occupational Hazards. Like consequence of this risk assessment, it has defined the individual preventive measures required in said task. Finally, it has presented the procedure that requires the management of the prevention considering both the staff formation and the necessary permission to execute the tasks of maintenance., En el contexto del mantenimiento industrial, el presente Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) se centra en la tipología de mantenimiento preventivo aplicado a aerogeneradores de un parque eólico, desde la perspectiva de la prevención de riesgos laborales. Concretamente, concierne a la gestión preventiva de la tarea de inspección visual realizada a nivel externo en la parte superior del mismo, en la góndola, y a la evaluación de los riesgos laborales implícitos en dicha tarea. Con la finalidad de la obtención de resultados, se ha analizado exhaustivamente la situación de la actividad del mantenimiento en aerogeneradores considerando las estadísticas de siniestralidad laboral del sector eólico. Asimismo, se ha requerido investigar, a través de noticias, casos reales de accidentes laborales ocurridos en parques eólicos, durante la ejecución de las labores de mantenimiento, para identificar los riesgos laborales hallados en las mismas. Posteriormente, con el objetivo de atenuar los riesgos potenciales encontrados en la inspección visual de la góndola, se ha procedido a evaluarlos según lo decretado por la Ley 31/1995 de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. Como consecuencia de esta evaluación de riesgos, se ha definido las medidas preventivas individuales requeridas en dicha tarea. Finalmente, se ha presentado el procedimiento que requiere la gestión de la prevención atendiendo a la formación del personal y al permiso necesario para ejecutar las tareas de mantenimiento., En el context del manteniment industrial, el present Treball Fi de Grau (TFG) es centra en la tipologia de manteniment preventiu aplicat a aerogeneradors d'un parc eòlic, des de la perspectiva de la prevenció de riscos laborals. Concretament, concerneix a la gestió preventiva de la tasca d'inspecció visual realitzada a nivell extern en la part superior del mateix, en la gòndola, i a l’avaluació dels riscos laborals implícits en aquesta tasca. Amb la finalitat de l'obtenció de resultats, s'ha analitzat exhaustivament la situació de l'activitat del manteniment en aerogeneradors considerant les estadístiques de sinistralitat laboral del sector eòlic. Així mateix, s'ha requerit investigar, a través de notícies, casos reals d'accidents laborals ocorreguts en parcs eòlics, durant l'execució de les labors de manteniment, per a identificar els riscos laborals trobats en les mateixes. Posteriorment, amb l'objectiu d'atenuar els riscos potencials trobats en la inspecció visual de la gòndola, s'ha procedit a avaluar-los segons el decretat per la Llei 31/1995 de Prevenció de Riscos Laborals. Com a conseqüència d'aquesta avaluació de riscos, s'ha definit les mesures preventives individuals requerides en aquesta tasca. Finalment, s'ha presentat el procediment que requereix la gestió de la prevenció atenent a la formació del personal i al permís necessari per a executar les tasques de manteniment.

The objective of this study is to analyze and describe the processes and dynamics driving the communities to apply for the inscription of their intangible cultural heritage into the representative list of UNESCO. Understanding the role performed by the community, from the recognition of its cultural heritage up to management of the same, means to interpret the motivations and expectations, conflicts and feelings relating not only to one’s heritage but also to the social and historical context the heritage lies in. The study intends also to analyse the international and national laws regarding the process of patrimonialisation of a cultural expression in order to define a sort of general model that may be applied to similar cases, while analysing the path followed both by the Misteri d’Elx (Alicante, Spain) and the rising candidacy for the safeguard of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity promoted by El Felze, the association of gondola’s artisans and builders based in Venice, Italy. The drawing up of a dossier for the safeguard of a cultural expression at an international level is a complex process that inevitably involves the single communities. It implies the setting-up of a net of relations with public authorities, both local, national and international, such as, the Municipality, the Region, the UNESCO Committee, as well as the Universities and the research centres provided with specialised sectors aiming at promoting the research activities.

El objetivo del estudio es analizar y describir los procesos y dinámicas que impulsan las comunidades a solicitar la inclusión de su patrimonio cultural inmaterial en la lista representativa de la UNESCO. La comprensión del papel desempeñado por la comunidad, a partir del reconocimiento de su patrimonio cultural hasta la gestión del mismo, significa interpretar las motivaciones y expectativas, conflictos y sentimientos relacionados con los patrimonios y el contexto social e histórico en el que están inmersos. El estudio pretende además analizar la legislación internacional y nacional inherente al proceso de patrimonialización de las expresiones culturales para establecer una especie de modelo general aplicable a casos similares, analizando los recorridos del Misteri d'Elx (Alicante, España) y de la naciente candidatura para la salvaguarda del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la Humanidad promovida por la asociación de los artesanos y constructores de góndolas en Venecia El Felze (Venecia, Italia). 柔構造エアロシェルは再突入体や惑星突入する衛星への応用が提案されているが、柔構造体の高速気流中での空力特性に関しては、完全に理解されているとは言えない。そこで、その高速飛行性能を実証するためにJAXAの大気球を用いた柔構造機体の飛行試験が計画され、その第1回目の試験が2003年9月に行われた。本論文は、カプセル形状の本体にフレア型の柔構造エアロシェルを取り付けた機体のフライト試験の概要、機体開発、および、実験結果についての報告を行う。フライト試験では、気球のゴンドラとフライト機体の切り離し機構の不具合によって機体単体での飛行は実現しなかったが、1)風洞実験などの事前試験によって、フレア型の柔構造エアロシェルに関して、その変形形状や空力特性などについて知見を得た、2)直径1.35mサイズの柔構造エアロシェルの収納展開を地上試験で実証した、3)膜展開構造を含むフライト機体とカプセル内部に搭載された機器は飛行中健全に機能していたことが確認された、などの今後の開発につながる様々な成果が得られた。, Membrane aeroshell has a potential for application to re-entry capsules and planetary-entry probes in the future due to its low mass and low storage volume. Its characteristics, however, is not well understood particularly in high speed flow regions. The flight test using the scientific balloon is conducted to demonstrate its high speed flight capability on September 1st, 2003. This paper describes the outline of this project, the development report of the flight model with the flare-type membrane aeroshell, and the results of the flight tests. Despite the flight model dropped with a gondola because of the trouble in the separation device, there are a lot of accomplishments in this project; 1) to obtain the knowledge about the deformation, stability, and aerodynamic characteristics of the flare-type membrane aeroshell by pre-flight wind tunnel test, 2) to demonstrate that 1.35 meter diameter membrane aeroshell can be stowed in a backside of the 0.5 meter capsule and deployed automatically in the ground test, and 3) to verify that the almost all of the sensors installed in the capsule worked normally at the high altitude and the deployed membrane aeroshell can withstand the actual flight environment., 資料番号: AA0048133004, レポート番号: JAXA-RR-04-015

X線天文学の課題として10keV以上の硬X線領域での撮像観測が挙げられる。この領域では非熱的放射が支配的であり、銀河団などの放射課程の解明には非常に重要である。これまでのX線望遠鏡は単層膜の全反射を用いた斜入射光学系であり、10keVが実用限界であった。しかし名古屋大学では多層膜スーパーミラーを用いて20-40keVの硬X線領域での集光・結像が可能なX線望遠鏡を開発し、2001年にNASA/GSFCと共同で行なった硬X線気球撮像観測実験InFOCμSによってその有効性が示された。現在名古屋大学では新たに20-60keVのエネルギー帯域で十分な反射率をもつ硬X線望遠鏡を搭載した気球撮像観測実験を計画している。この計画では硬X線望遠鏡だけでなく検出器や気球ゴンドラの開発も独自に行なう。ここでは気球ゴンドラの開発の経緯について報告する。, 資料番号: AA0049122159

三陸大気球観測所のように限られた放球場で大きな気球を上げることは長年の課題であった。これまでに打ち上げに成功した最大の気球は、1973年に初めて上げられた容積200,000立方メートルのものである。より大きな容積500,000立方メートルの気球が1980年に打ち上げられたが、上昇中に破壊して成功には至らなかった。総浮力が1トンを超えるような大きな気球を、これまで20年以上行ってきた立て上げ放球法によって上げるには、いくつかの問題点があった。そこで、日本独自のセミダイナミック放球法が考案された。このために、地面に固定されているが、自由に回転でき、5mまでペイロードを昇降させることのできる大型放球装置と自走式跳ね上げローラー車が開発された。2000年以降、この放球法によって大型気球が上げられている。そして、2003年に、厚さ20μmのポリエチレンフィルムで作られた容積500,000立方メートルの気球の打ち上げと飛翔に成功した。この気球は日本で放球された最大容積の気球である。, Launching a large balloon at a limited launching field is a long standing subject in Japan. The volume of the largest balloon ever launched successfully was 200,000 cubic meters. This type of balloon was firstly launched in 1973. A larger balloon with a volume of 500,000 cubic meters was tried to launch in 1980; however it did not succeed because of burst during the ascending phase. For launching a large balloon with a total lift more than 1 ton, the static launching method, which has been used for more than 20 years, has several weak points that may result in failure. A semi-dynamic launching method was developed using a new launcher, which is fixed on the ground and has a freedom of rotation around the vertical axis and an elevation system up to 5 m, as well as a leap-up spooler system for holding a balloon bubble, in 1999. Several balloons have been launched using the method. In 2003, a balloon with a volume of 500,000 cubic meters, which was made of polyethylene films of 20 micrometers in thickness, was successfully launched with the semi-dynamic launching method. 多層膜スーパーミラーを反射面として用いることにより、全反射を利用したX線望遠鏡では成し得なかった10keV以上の硬X線領域で十分な効率を持ったX線望遠鏡の開発を行なっている。この多層膜スーパーミラーは、Astro-Eで用いられた多重薄板型の光学系と組み合わせることで、30keVで約70cm(sup 2)の有効面積を持つ。NASA/GSFCとの共同研究で、この望遠鏡を搭載した気球による撮像観測実験InFOCμSを推進している。InFOCμSは2001年7月にアメリカのテキサス州Palestineにて第1回の打ち上げを行ない、ブラックホール候補星白鳥座X-1からのX線の観測に成功した。これは多層膜スーパーミラーを用いた世界初の撮像観測となった。現在、第2回のInFOCμS実験を目指し、X線望遠鏡や焦点面検出器の改良を行なっている。, 資料番号: AA0045441123

A comparison between Classical TRIZ and OTSM-TRIZ is presented in order to evaluate differences in using either method when facing complex problems. The case study considered for this purpose is the development of a new type of Gondola for stratospheric ballooning, in which OTSM-TRIZ has been used in order to manage the complexity of the system. Considerations regarding methodologies have been then expressed and grouped into three topics of comparison, in which main differences between the assessed approaches have been listed and explained, identifying OTSM-TRIZ as a valid tool in facing complex problems.
