Abstract

The development of digital technology contributes significant roles to businesses, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It raises the digital economy and fintech services to the MSMEs market, such as peer-to-peer lending, digital payment, crowdfunding, digital assets, e-commerce, social commerce, etc. This research aims to analyze MSMEs financial and business improvement model by using MSME's digital economy products and fintech penetration strategy in Indonesia. This study employed a mixed research method by integrating the Delphi technique and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The Delphi method was used to identify criteria or construct for the research framework, while AHP was used to evaluate and determine the score and priorities of the MSMEs financial performance criteria, business goals, digital economy's alternative products, and fintech penetration strategies. The Delphi method consists of round 1 - to explore the research framework, round 2 - to rank the research indicators, followed by AHP at round 3. The study involves 20 expert panels of MSMEs in greater Jakarta. This study found that the use of digital economy products - particularly fintech will enhance MSMEs' financial performance by increasing sales volume and business profits. It helps them achieving business goals by increasing their revenue and expanding their business. MSMEs need digital payment and mobile banking as vital fintech services. This study also provides strategic guidance to fintech players and government to effectively penetrate fintech products to MSMEs mainly through knowledge dissemination and digital knowledge improvement. Abstract

In the past few years, Microfinance has been usually contemplated as an effective strategy instrument in the fight against poverty. The SHG women situation in India has been particularly difficult during COVID-19. It had distressing consequences on SHG women life, their income making activities and livelihoods. Therefore, the question arises whether Microfinance credit leads to poverty reduction and improve their decision-making ability in the post COVID era. To address this question, the present study undertakes to identify the impact of Microfinance, Micro Credit and Savings on the Decision making ability of SHG women in the post COVID era. A number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) provide micro-finance programmes to women in need in order to gain access to credit and savings services. In the current research, the NGO named 'Peetambra Foundation' registered in 2008 in Pink City Jaipur, Rajasthan is instrumental in providing data related to SHG women registered with them. Total 306 SHG women were surveyed in the nearest village of Jaipur city. The findings revealed positive but insignificant impact of Microfinance on Financial improvement. Abstract

The authors systematized the theoretical concepts of identifying bankruptcy risks, proposed to iden-tify the risks of bankruptcy by assessing the crisis of internal processes. The indicators of the crisis of man-agement of agricultural organizations are summarized. The crisis of management is primary in relation to other processes that cause the risk of bankruptcy. The assessment of indicators of crisis of management in the agricultural organizations of the Orenburg region is given. For the purpose of diagnostics of crisis processes grouping of the agricultural organizations of the Buzuluk district of the Orenburg region was executed. The identifiers of this crisis are the profitability of production costs, return on assets, the ratio of growth rates of accounts receivable and accounts payable. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the formation of management information in the context of business processes and responsibility centers to determine indicators of bankruptcy risks, as well as in the development of elements of management reporting, which allows to assess the activities of responsibility centers for financial recovery of agricul-tural organizations. Financial recovery in this article is considered as a pre-trial procedure, which is the interaction of responsibility centers in the conditions of mobilization of internal resources for the purpose of development of production, increase of financial results and prevention of financial insolvency.

Abstract

We consider the link between individual financial profiles over time and well‐being, as measured by life satisfaction. In particular, we look at annual self‐reported financial worsening and improvement information for more than 25,000 individuals in Australian panel data from 2002 to 2017. We first find that satisfaction falls (rises) with a contemporaneous major financial worsening (improvement), with the largest correlation seen to be with financial worsening. Second, the experience of these financial events in the past continues to be linked to current well‐being. Last, only the order of financial‐improvement spells relates to well‐being: a given number of past years where finances deteriorated has the same association with current well‐being whether the deterioration occurred in one continuous spell or was interrupted. Choosing the procedure to be followed in a bankruptcy (insolvency) case and analysis of the debtor’s financial condition is one of most important arbitration process stages. It is proposed that the choice of the bankruptcy procedure be made on the basis of comparison between the totalamount of debts according to the creditors’ claims and the income both earned before the bankruptcy proceedings and accumulated in the course of it. Example of calculation of debt amount to be matured resulting from the bankruptcy case procedure is brought about with dueaccount of recent changes in the bankruptcy legislation.

The essences of management influence the pricing process in the construction industry. The balance in the market of construction products, both in terms of supply and demand, is the objective of this influence. Construction organizations are ready to reduce prices for their products. However they must be confident that their products will generate profits on the ongoing basis. Authorities responsible for pricing management must help construction organizations to identify their reserves and excessive production expenses to help these companies to cut their prices. These efforts will reduce the inflation to the level needed to resolve the problem of affordable prices for building products. The Russian economy must be based on innovative grounds. Control over the economic concentration is an effective action. It’s used to prevent monopolization in the construction market.Приведен анализ сущности управленческого воздействия на процесс формирования цен на строительную продукцию, целью которого является создание сбалансированного рынка строительной продукции как в части предложения, так и в части спроса. Обосновывана необходимость оказания компетентными органами, регулирующими процесс ценообразования, содействия строительным организациям в выявлении резервов, за счет которых можно уменьшать непроизводительные затраты при создании этой продукции, а соответственно, снижать цены на нее. Обсуждаются принятые меры по принимаемому решению проблемы доступности цен на строительную продукцию.

MBA Professional Report Over the last six years, the Department of the Defense (DOD) and Department of the Navy (DON) have ramped up efforts toward achieving financial audit readiness by dedicating additional resources and implementing new process changes in support of the DOD Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) program. Despite increased emphasis on ensuring key supporting documentation availability during an audit, the DON still has issues regarding poor quality document submissions from lower-level units, which can ultimately lead to poor audit results. This project attempts to identify and improve upon root causes of quality defects in audit-related key supporting documentation onboard U.S. ships in the Pacific Surface Fleet using a Lean Six Sigma analysis. The recommendations provided in this study augment improvement processes currently in progress, and are sequenced to build momentum before addressing higher-risk priorities. The objective of this research is to develop a case study for use by DON FIAR that examines audit-related areas of improvement and the implementation of additional process changes at the unit level. Classical and count data regression models are estimated to predict improvement in three key financial indicators—net worth, debt-to-asset ratio and current ratio—as well as the number of loan restructurings and delinquencies. Data consist of Farm Service Agency direct loans originated in fiscal years 1994-1996. Models to predict outcomes vary by loan type. Models explaining variation in the financial measures have modest explanatory power but initial levels of debt-to-asset ratio and current ratio are significant in explaining changes in debt-to-asset ratios and current ratios, respectively. Models explaining number of restructurings and delinquencies for operating loans have satisfactory explanatory power. Increasing crop revenues to total farm revenues and increasing farm size lead to increased loan servicing actions

Abstract

The Department of Defense (DoD) has been required to prepare audited annual financial statements since 1997, but to date it has not been able to meet this requirement. The National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2010 mandated that DoD be prepared to validate [certify] that its consolidated financial statements are audit-ready by September 30, 2017. In May 2010, DoD issued its Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Guidance to provide a methodology for DoD components to follow to develop and implement their Financial Improvement Plans (FIPs) for achieving audit readiness. The DoD FIP is a framework for planning and tracking the steps and supporting documentation. GAO was asked to assess the FIP methodology provided in the FIAR Guidance, the development and implementation of selected components' FIPs, and DoD's monitoring and oversight of the FIP process. To do this, GAO analyzed the FIAR Guidance and reviewed two selected FIPs: Navy Civilian Pay and Air Force Military Equipment. The reviews of the FIPs included a review of relevant documentation and interviews with DoD and component officials. GAO recommends that the Secretary of Defense take various actions to improve the development, implementation, documentation, and oversight of DoD's financial management improvement efforts. DoD generally concurred with the recommendations and commented on actions being taken to implement them., Report to Congressional Requesters.

Abstract

The Department of Defense (DoD) has initiated several efforts over the years to address its long-standing financial management weaknesses and ultimately achieve unqualified (clean) opinions on its financial statements. In 2005, the DoD Comptroller first issued the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Plan for improving financial management and reporting. In May 2010, the DoD Comptroller issued the FIAR Guidance to provide standardized guidance to DoD components for developing Financial Improvement Plans (FIP) to implement the FIAR Plan. GAO's testimony focuses on the following: (1) progress made by the DoD Comptroller in developing and issuing the FIAR Guidance, (2) challenges faced by DoD components in implementing the FIAR Guidance, and (3) improvements needed in DoD's oversight and monitoring of FIAR implementation efforts. This statement is based on four audits that were undertaken at the request of this subcommittee and other congressional requesters to evaluate the progress DoD is making in implementing its FIAR Plan and FIAR Guidance. GAO addresses findings and recommendations from two reports being issued this week (GAO-11-830 and GAO-11-851) and preliminary information from two ongoing audits. Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení finanční situace společnosti Vizard s.r.o. za období 2015-2020. První kapitola popisuje teoretické aspekty nutné k pochopení dané problematiky. Jsou zde tedy vybrány konkrétní metody, které jsou v druhé kapitole použity k provedení samotné finanční analýzy. MBA Professional Report, Over the last six years, the Department of the Defense (DOD) and Department of the Navy (DON) have ramped up efforts toward achieving financial audit readiness by dedicating additional resources and implementing new process changes in support of the DOD Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) program. Despite increased emphasis on ensuring key supporting documentation availability during an audit, the DON still has issues regarding poor quality document submissions from lower-level units, which can ultimately lead to poor audit results. This project attempts to identify and improve upon root causes of quality defects in audit-related key supporting documentation onboard U.S. ships in the Pacific Surface Fleet using a Lean Six Sigma analysis. The recommendations provided in this study augment improvement processes currently in progress, and are sequenced to build momentum before addressing higher-risk priorities. The objective of this research is to develop a case study for use by DON FIAR that examines audit-related areas of improvement and the implementation of additional process changes at the unit level.
