Human, who has a history that can be expressed in thousands of years, started to ask questions about the universe he lives in after he gained his will. It is in a constant state of development thinks to its ability to ask questions, which is the most fundamental feature that distinguishes it from other creatures. While its biological and physical development continues, in addition to its cerebral and mental development, the meaning aspect that makes it different continues to develop. Therefore, human beings are not a finished being, on the contrary, they are dynamic in every aspect along with the nature in which they live, as the Qur'an says: "When we want something, we tell it to become, and it enters the process of becoming." So it is not instantaneous, it depends on a process. The most fundamental question asked by the person who develops his existence in this process is "who am I?" This is also man's search for meaning and is also the secret of existence. The human being, a biological/physical being, reaching the level of human depends on this search for meaning. For this reason, only humans are the ones who use language, produce meaning, build civilizations, and raise objections to the environment/situation they find themselves in. Because of these basic distinguishing features, he went beyond his limits and often became reckless as a result of trying to give him honors that could not be given to him without taking into account the purpose of his creation. The human story told in the holy books is to draw attention to this situation. Since the narratives about humans in the Torah texts were transferred to later periods without being subjected to criticism, the Qur'an's definition and presentation of humans were not understood correctly. The meanings attributed to the concepts used under the influence of previous cultures were created in a way that contradicts the integrity of the Qur'an. Considering these basic problems that I have mentioned in this study, what does the Qur'an basically say about human beings, how does it define it, what kind of criticism does it direct while listing its differences, in the scope of an article? It will be discussed within its framework. Therefore, since the text of the Qur'an was taken as basis, not many sources were used other than that. An evaluation was made by focusing on this problematic, which is extremely important in terms of Islamic theology. Because without a correct definition of human being, it is unthinkable to understand the universe, individual or society in which human beings exist. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
