U radu se na temelju arhivskoga gradiva benediktinskoga samostana sv. Marije u Zadru i arhivskoga gradiva mletačke magistrature Sopraintendenti alle decime del clero iz Državnoga arhiva u Veneciji te dosad objavljene znanstvene literature razmatra stanje posjeda zadarskih benediktinki u Zadru tijekom 18. stoljeća. Osim samostanskih posjeda benediktinki sv. Marije razmotrit će se stanje posjeda benediktinskih samostana sv. Katarine u Zadru te ženskoga benediktinskoga samostana sv. Margarite u Pagu. Analizom dostupnih podataka utvrdit će se ekonomsko stanje navedenih ženskih benediktinskih samostana, kao i ekonomske (ne)prilike s kojima su se susretale redovnice tijekom 18. stoljeća.

In this text I discuss about contribution of Max Weber’s sociology relate to the area of policy action and economy. In addition to the analysis of capitalism which embodies Webers ideal-type constructions such as bureaucracy, authority and power, process of rationalisation and forms of social action but also an essential part of his sociology are concepts of social action and social order. Every aspect mentioned in the text is an important part of the basic dynamism in society on a higher level. Weber observed society in its entirety through institucional structure and processes which take place within the same society also considering their historical framwork. Istraživanje percepcije znanja i korisnosti hrvatskoga jezika među slovenskim studentima na području ekonomije i poslovanja provedeno je s ciljem dobivanja relevantnih informacija na temelju kojih bi se mogla donijeti odluka o uvođenju izbornog predmeta Hrvatski jezik za ekonomiju i poslovanje u slovenski sveučilišni sustav. Rezultati pokazuju da hrvatski jezik kod proučavane populacije u kontekstu 21 stranog jezika zauzima drugo mjesto prema prosječnoj razini znanja i treće mjesto prema percepciji korisnosti ovladavanja jezikom. Kod proučavane studentske populacije ujedno postoji i razmjerno velik interes za učenje hrvatskog jezika, koji je kod te mlađe slovenske populacije jasno identificiran kao zaseban jezik.

Promene u položaju autonomnih pokrajina u Srbiji krajem šezdesetih godina 20. veka odrazile su se na odnose Kosova i Metohije sa Albanijom. Državni sekretarijat za inostrane poslove i Savezno izvršno veće počeli su 1967. godine da ohrabruju kulturno i ekonomsko povezivanje Kosova i Metohije sa Albanijom, objašnjavajući to strategijom za normalizaciju odnosa između Jugoslavije i Albanije. Nakon skupova u Prištini i Tirani i međusobnih poseta prosvetnih delegacija, dogovoreno je da se udžbenici iz Albanije koriste u školskom sistemu Kosova i Metohije, a kosovska preduzeća su svoju proizvodnju preusmerila na albansko tržište. Profesori Univerziteta u Tirani angažovani su u nastavi na prištinskim fakultetima. Izveštaji albanskih predavača iz Prištine omogućili su partijskom vrhu Albanije širok spektar informacija o situaciji u Jugoslaviji. Rad se primarno zasniva na neobjavljenoj arhivskoj građi Centralnog državnog arhiva Albanije u Tirani, uz korišćenje dokumenata iz srpskih arhiva kao i objavljenih istorijskih izvora i literature.

Papa Franjo 2015. godine izdao je encikliku Laudato si’ – O brizi za zajednički dom koja je pobudila veliko zanimanje među vjernicima Katoličke Crkve i u akademskoj zajednici. Kako bi se enciklika mogla što bolje razumjeti, u radu se opisuju njezina tri glavna obilježja: dijalog razuma i vjere, sveopće zajedništvo te nerazdvojiva povezanost ekonomije, ekologije i siromaštva. Prvo obilježje enciklike tiče se suradnje s eminentnim znanstvenicima koja je rezultirala tekstom prvoga poglavlja enciklike. Drugo obilježje odnosi se na povezanost svih stvorenja na svijetu koja proizlazi iz Božjega čina stvaranja, a treće na nerazdvojivu povezanost ekonomije, ekologije i siromaštva. Sva su tri obilježja enciklike u funkciji promicanja cjelovite ekologije kao jedine alternative dominantnoj paradigmi tržišne ekonomije i odnosu prema okolišu.

The research of the perception of knowledge and usefulness of the Croatian language among Slovenian students in the field of economics and business was conducted with the aim of obtaining relevant information on the basis of which a decision could be made on introducing the elective course "Croatian language for economics and business" in the Slovenian higher education system. The results show that the Croatian language in the studied population takes second place (among 21 foreign languages) according to knowledge and third place according to the perception of the usefulness of language acquisition. At the same time, there is a relatively high interest among the Slovenian student population in the field of economics and business in learning the Croatian language. The results also indicate a changed attitude towards the Croatian language in Slovenian society, and that younger Slovenians make a clear distinction between the Croatian and other South Slavic languages. Autor ovog rada je, oslanjajući se na savremenu backcasting methodology namenjenu planerima razvoja, izradio originalan softver Energovizija MB za istraživanje mogućih razvojnih scenarija u energetskom sektoru i održivom razvoju, i testirao ga na više primera dobre prakse. Uz pomoć tog softvera, autor je napravio tri moguća scenarija energetske budućnosti Republike Srbije, u zavisnosti od kvaliteta i masovnosti primene programa energetske efikasnosti. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da ako nadležne institucije Republika Srbija ne započnu sa ozbiljnom primenom postojećih razvojnih alata za unapređenje energetske efikasniosti u svim sektorima privrede i društva, Republika Srbija će se za 50-60 godina suočiti sa energetskim i ekološkim kolapsom.

Kreativni je sektor u Republici Hrvatskoj ekonomski i pravno nedovoljno uređen što je posljedica njegove višegodišnje neinstitucionaliziranosti. Osnivanjem Hrvatskog klastera kreativnih i kulturnih industrija 2013. godine na poticaj Ministarstva gospodarstva te provedbom projektne studije Rašić Bakarić, Bačić i Božić Mapiranje kreativnih i kulturnih industrija iz 2015. godine započinje razdoblje postojećeg stanja kreativne industrije u Republici Hrvatskoj čime se nastoji poticati sektorska i međusektorska umrežavanja. Namjera je ovog rada prikazati studiju slučaja u području kreativne ekonomije, a na primjeru popularizacijskog simpozija Kreativna riznica čija je misija populariziranje kreativne industrije s ciljem uspostavljanja 12 sektora kreativne industrije. U radu su opisana ograničenja kako samog simpozija tako i institucionaliziranja kreativne industrije u Republici Hrvatskoj. Pojašnjen je idejni koncept simpozija te njegova usmjerenost na uporabu digitalnih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u susretanjima, dijalozima i suradnji dionika kreativne industrije, izlagača, posjetitelja i organizatora. Kako je kreativna industrija projektna industrija te industrija znanja i inovacija, praktični eksperiment obuhvatio je nove komunikacijske strategije u uspostavljanju mreže heterogenih kreativaca te u oblikovanju i razvoju publike. Opisano je i ostvarivanje timskog rada u organiziranju simpozija Kreativna riznica kojim je upravljano uz pomoc digitalne podrške.

This paper shows interdisciplinary insight into economy-driven early modern environmental change, using the example of the privately financed venture of marshland reclamation on Count Borelli's Vrana Estate. The research goal was to compare cartographic and demographic statistical sources to see how such an improvement was represented in correlated data, and if certain quantitative features of ecological, economic, and demographic development could be accurately measured. The focus was on the direct relationship between the enlargement of arable fields by drainage and the gradual overall advancement of the area. Quantitative analysis failed to offer reliable results, primarily due to inconsistent cartometric and content comparability of available sources. Qualitative analysis revealed that marshland drainage and soil improvement of potentially very fertile land, along with the colonisation of new inhabitants as agrarian land users and taxpayers, provided a moderate opportunity for demographic increase in rather depressive circumstances. Due to Venetian-Ottoman wars, the once agriculturally prosperous area of Vrana was rendered into an ecologically-unstable, economically-devastated, politically and militarily-pressured, socially-wrecked, and demographically half-deserted landscape. Ovaj rad kritički razmatra rad Thomasa Pikettya o nejednakosti, s posebnim fokusom na recepciji njegovih ideja u društvenim znanostima. Najprije se kvantitativnom analizom tekstova koji citiraju Pikettyjeve najvažnije radove istražuje recepcija Pikettyja u akademskim raspravama. Zatim se detaljnije razmatraju tipovi kritika koje dolaze iz ekonomije i sociologije, dviju često suprotstavljenih disciplina koje su se najviše posvetile raspravama o Pikettyju. Ovaj rad nadopunjuje postojeće kritike dodatnim prijedlozima koji su relevantni za znanstveno bavljenje nejednakošću i za proces zamišljanja reformi koje bi se s nejednakošću mogle nositi.
