La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Scopus, National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health, Web of Science, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Scientific Electronic Library Online, Cochrane y Excerpta Medica Database.

- Abstract
Assistance to women during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle and to children in the first year of life has been extensively studied, especially regarding its impact on maternal, perinatal and neonatal mortality. The assessment of the quality of health services can be carried out through effectiveness, effectiveness, efficiency, optimization, acceptability, legitimacy and equity and the structure-process-results triad. It is possible to consider the woman's pilgrimage as obstetric violence because it is directly related to her reproductive process and the annulment of her rights. This type of violence results from the precariousness of the health system, which considerably restricts access to the services offered. Therefore, it is concluded that women must receive quality care, in a humanized and individualized manner from prenatal care to the postpartum period, with clarification of doubts and the rights that are guaranteed to them in this regard, nursing professionals have fundamental role in developing discussions on the topic during prenatal consultations, as well as in the development of conversation circles, courses and booklets to better guide and provide quality care. Obstetric care in the maternal network is a critical aspect of ensuring the health and well-being of pregnant women before, during and after birth. This network comprises the provision of health services at different levels, from primary care to specialized obstetric care. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Caused by microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, protozoa or fungi, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) have as their main mode of transmission unprotected sexual intercourse with a previously infected person. In addition to this, there are other forms of STI transmission, called vertical transmission, which occurs during pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding. The work process managed in infection control contextualizes actions that ask about how health professionals work through the care provided. It also allows the transmission of the values of the institution that provides the service, aiming at efficiency, effectiveness and efficacy in the service. The nurse has a primary role in the assistance offered to women, both through education, guiding them, and through assistance when they become infected with an STI, and it is important to inform them that they are transmitters of the disease and mainly carriers, and must use condoms to prevent prevent its spread. Promoting sexuality education is crucial to empowering women to make informed decisions about their sexual health. This includes information about prevention, symptoms and the importance of regular checkups. It is noteworthy that multidisciplinary participation in this health education process is essential. Addressing women's vulnerability to STIs requires a holistic approach that includes education, prevention, regular screening and appropriate treatment. Furthermore, it is essential to promote gender equality and empower women to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MENTAL illness , *NON-communicable diseases , *MENTAL health policy , *HARM reduction ,WESTERN countries - Abstract
Mental health problems are included in the non-communicable diseases and together to other problems associated with well-being, they are attributed up to 21 % of global deaths. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and establish the risk/benefit ratio of policy related to mental health, for example, in the case of the legalization of recreational cannabis use in adults. Cannabis is the most widely used “illicit” drug in Western countries, essentially because it increases sociability and euphoria. In the last decade, several countries have endorsed policies aimed at legalizing the commercialization of recreational cannabis in adults. In this sense, there is controversy about the effect of this type of policy on the percentage of people who consume this substance and on their health. However, it could be expected that this type of initiative will improve the percentage of people who consume this substance. Increased marijuana use may lead to a higher prevalence of mental health problems, including psychosis and schizophrenia. The existence of an association between cannabis use and psychosis (including schizophrenia) is accepted. In this framework, recognizing the benefits of policies to legalize the use of recreational cannabis in adults, advancing from a drug prohibition approach to one focused on harm reduction, it is convenient to evaluate and define the effect of this type of policies. Also, this kind of policies should be linked to informative and educational programs to clarify the risks of consumption, including, dependence and mental health problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: School health must ensure the comprehensive well-being of the school community, strengthening self-care behaviours and healthy habits through promotion and prevention and through health-related research. The holistic approach that defines Nursing makes the inclusion of the school nurse fundamental in the different educational centres. Objective: To analyse the benefits of the role of school nursing based on their remit to identify the need for nurses in schools. Methodology: Integrative review of the literature and qualitative review based on the indications of the PRISMA statement. The search for publications was carried out in the Web of Science and MedLine databases, selecting those articles published in the last 5 years in English and Spanish. Results: A total of 10 articles were included. Their analysis shows the remit of the school nurse, the perspective that teachers and parents have of the school nurse role, as well as the need it represents to the school community. Conclusions: The presence of the school nurse in educational centres ensures tranquillity and benefits for the community, not only through prevention or assistance activities, but also through health education strategies. Our research has revealed how, despite the fact that there is a firm and concise argument regarding the importance of this role, the fight for its establishment continues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction. Among the issues most affected by the global pandemic of COVID-19 is the physical and emotional well-being of citizens. Objective. To analyze how dietary habits and physical activity have changed since the compulsory home confinement, and to determine whether they have been maintained afterwards, carrying out a study with students from 6 Andalusian public universities, during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic years. Method. A 30-item questionnaire was applied to a sample of 458 subjects, 73% female, 25% male and 2% non-binary with a mean age of 23 years. Results. Socially imposed isolation has favored in most cases an awareness of the need for care and improvement of health, both at a general level (46%) and from the point of view of food (for example, 60% take fruit or vegetables between meals) and physical activity (52%) and as an added benefit is that these habits are maintained after confinement (67%). Conclusions. Healthy habits have improved since confinement, in aspects related to both food and physical activity, with the latter acquiring a high relevance since the pandemic. HEALTH education , *PUBLIC health - Abstract
The construction of actions for health education about HIV/AIDS in Brazil, is essential for the development of universality in health, the preservation of autonomy, the right to information, integrality, social inclusion and other factors. With them, we should aim at promoting the quality of life of the people who are living with HIV and not only at preventing new infections. Thus, this manuscript aims to present - and provoke - reflections through the content of the virtual platform Deu Positivo, e Agora?, aimed at HIV-positive young people and created by the UNAIDS and UNESCO, about ways to educate in health with regard to seropositivity, considering the quality of life of people living with the virus. Therefore, a bibliographic survey and document analysis were used and tensioned by a discourse analysis. Starting on education dynamics based on dialogues about selfacceptance, the materials available on the platform are important tools that can also be used in different educational environments. The videos bring a lot of reflections about networks for support, marital relationships and information from the legal field, demonstrating that it is possible to experience seropositivity in a productive way. Thus, the website is an effective alternative for health education, because demystifies representations about seropositivity and promotes dialogue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic drove a demand for information regarding action protocols and measures to be followed among the population. Objectives: To describe and to explore the perceptions of the population about the measures for the detection and prevention of contagion by SARS-CoV-2, based on comments made on a social network. Methods: Research with descriptive and cross-sectional qualitative design. The data collection technique were the comments arising from a publication made on Facebook on the profile of the Altamira health centre. The method of analysis of the results is framed within the phenomenological theory. Results: The post made on August 14, 2020 was shared more than 11,400 times with 437 comments. In them, four categories were detected that express the opinions of the population and that bring together other subunits of meaning: 1st opinion on protocols' changes; 2nd application of the measures in a possible case; 3rd difficulties in understanding the steps to follow; 4th difficulties related to the primary care health center. Conclusions: The importance of transferring clear and understandable information to the public about the measures to be carried out is highlighted, especially in a pandemic context.
