The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant repercussions, particularly among healthcare professionals who have faced drastic changes in their work routines, increased exposure to risk, the precariousness of services, and experiences of loss and anxiety. This study aimed to analyze the structure of social representations of COVID-19 among health professionals in Ceará, located in Northeastern Brazil. A qualitative study was conducted using the Theory of Social Representations and included nursing professionals (nurses, nursing technicians, and assistants), physicians, and physical therapists who were 18 years of age or older. The sample consisted of 1317 participants who were selected using convenience sampling. Due to restrictive measures, data collection was carried out remotely through a questionnaire created using Google Forms. Out of the 1317 participants, 737 (55.5%) were nurses, 191 (14.4%) were nursing technicians, 254 (19.1%) were physicians, and 145 (11%) were physical therapists. Additionally, 1123 (84.6%) of the participants were women, with a mean age of 34 ± 8.9 years. A total of 6635 words were elicited during the study, with 1316 different evocations. The central core of the social representations was composed of the terms "fear," "anxiety," and "anguish." The similarity tree analysis revealed that "fear" (n = 802) served as the organizing structure, with 18 associated terms and five cores: "death" (n = 502), "sadness" (n = 203), "anguish" (n = 185), "anxiety" (n = 171), and "insecurity" (n = 144). The structural analysis of the social representations of COVID-19 among health professionals indicated that fear, anxiety, and anguish formed the central axis, highlighting the prevalence of negative emotions. The objective of this article is to develop and validate a KAP (knowledge, attitude, and practice) instrument for caregivers of children up to 36 months of age monitored by the Family Health Strategy. This methodological study was conducted in three stages: an integrative review, preparation of the initial version, and content validation by 29 judges. The instrument was validated for content and appearance. The Content Validity Index (CVI) and the FINN and Gwe-AC1 coefficients were calculated to assess inter-judge agreement. The overall CVI values of the 39-item instrument were: Clarity (0.91) and Relevance (0.95). The final version was obtained through 19 knowledge, 10 attitude, and 10 practice questions on caries, diet, oral hygiene, fluoride, breastfeeding, artificial feeding, milk teeth, and the need to take the baby to the dentist. Objectives: to analyze a correlation between self-efficacy and social support of mothers of preterms in early postpartum. Methods: cross-sectional study, carried out with 120 mothers of preterm infants from a Maternity School, from June to September 2018. Sociodemographic, reproductive and scales were used to assess the Maternal Self-Efficacy and Social Support. A descriptive analysis was carried out and the Mann-Whitney Test, Kruskal Wallis Test and Spearman correlation were applied. Results: there was a positive correlation between self-efficacy, parity (p=0.017), years of schooling (p=0.017) and Social Support (p=0.002). An unexpected finding was a high self-efficacy among mothers up to eight years of schooling, in the countryside of the State and with low income. Conclusion: social support, in all dimensions: material, affective, emotional, information and social interaction, proven to be a predictor of maternal self-efficacy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: This study aimed to report the use of netnography for nursing research on Facebook with school adolescents. Methods: It was a qualitative netnographic study of participant observation carried out in two Facebook social network groups, created for the educational practice in nursing health with adolescents. Results: The use of netnography enabled to highlight cyberculture in the context of adolescence and how it intervenes in the online teaching-learning process. The teaching-learning relationships in health mediated by Facebook were consolidated in a collaboration network between nurses and adolescents. Conclusion: Netnography is a technique with potential in research, especially nowadays; nevertheless, it is little mentioned in the area of health and nursing. This study sought to overcome this knowledge challenge by presenting the netnography approach to online research with adolescents on Facebook, thus expanding these possibilities. Background: Interventions on adolescents' lifestyle are important, but the main mechanisms that explain the changes (mediating variables) on lifestyle are unclear. This paper presents the rationale and methods of an intervention program focused on promoting active and healthy lifestyles (especially physical activity [PA] practice and reducing screen time) among Brazilian students-the Fortaleça sua Saúde program (Portuguese for "strengthen your health").Methods/design: This is a school-based cluster-randomized controlled trial. Three intervention and three control (no intervention) full-time public schools were randomly selected in Fortaleza, northeastern Brazil. Students (n = 1,272) from classes in Grades 7-9 were eligible, and 1,085 (548 in the intervention and 537 in control schools) completed the baseline and follow-up measures. The program duration was approximately four months and took place in 2014. Intervention strategies focused on teacher training, activities on health in the curriculum, active opportunities in the school environment (the availability of equipment for PA), and health education (health materials for students and parents). Data collection was undertaken before and immediately after the intervention. The primary variables included the practice of PA (weekly PA volume, PA behavior change stage and preference for PA during leisure-time) and screen time (TV and computer/video games). Potential intrapersonal, interpersonal and environmental mediators of PA and screen time were evaluated by a standardized questionnaire. Other lifestyle components (e.g., eating habits, substance use), psychological (e.g., self-rated health, body satisfaction) and biological (general and abdominal obesity) aspects, as well as academic performance were also evaluated in the total sample. Depressive symptoms, eating disorders, sleep quality, objectively-measured PA, and sedentary time were evaluated in obese students.Discussion: If effective, this program will contribute to the development of public policies for the promotion of active and healthy lifestyles in youth, especially those from low- and middle-income countries. The main intrapersonal, interpersonal and/or environmental mediators of PA and screen time may also be indicated. Introduction: the Health School Programme (HSP) should be understood as a permanent development process. In this context, the actions of a policy aimed at children and adolescentsare paramount in the HSP. Objective: to identify and describe the actions developed by the Family Health Group in the HSP, from the National Programme for ImprovingAccess and Quality of Primary Care (PIPCAQ). Methods: this cross-sectional research used secondary data collected fromthe 17,202 groups who joined PIPCAQ in 2012. Results: all regions showed significant results concerning the execution of school activities. the Northern region was the one that performed most school actions (80.5%), followed by the Northeast, Midwest, South and Southeast, respectively. However, some items, such as professional training in education and health work need to be streng the ned.
