The article describes the case of a 28-year-old man, with gradual and progressive onset of semantic and phonemic aphasia, linked to evolving numbness and loss of sensation over weeks. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) disclosed T2-hyperintense expansive lesions, heterogeneous contrast enhancement, and no diffusion restriction in subcortical regions on the left parietal and temporal lobes.

The article describes the case of a 59-year-old man with right hemifacial hypoesthesia who showed a low signal T2-weighted expansive mass in the right Meckel's cave. The patient underwent partial lesion resection and chest computed tomography (CT) was consistent with a granulomatous disease called neurosarcoidosis. The need to consider sarcoid infiltration of the Gasserian ganglion is also cited.
