Objective: To map care technologies capable of subsidizing safety in the stages of the organ transplantation process. Methods: Scope review developed in five stages through searches in six databases, between October and November 2020. Results: Among the selected publications, 2020 was the year with the highest number of studies (25.92%), the PubMed database had the largest selection of articles (37.03%) and the country with the largest number of publications was the United States (51.85%). As for the care technologies identified, 77.77% were light-hard and 22.22% were hard. Regarding the type of technology, 51.85% are digital, 22.22% machines / equipment, 14.81% predictive models and others related to protocol and robotic technology (11.11%). Conclusion: In relation to the potential of the technologies, they provide monitoring, data tracking, health education, permanent education, rapid and effective communication of organs, as well as quality in the stages of the transplant and safety processes. The impact of this study is the visualization of the panorama of technological development in health in the context of organ transplants, highlighting the areas that are being studied and the problems in this context that are being solved through health technologies. Introduction In recent years, increasing methodological references have been used in scientific research; these are points of support in the search for evidence, formulation and elaboration of instruments, scales, guideline and protocols. However, significant variability currently exists in scoping review conduct and reporting, thus limiting the potential of the methodology to advance research and practice about skin self-care of people with spinal cord injury (SCI). Our objective was to perform a scoping review protocol within the health rehabilitation context of people with SCI, focusing on skin self-care. Methods and analysis The protocol was developed by using the scoping review methodological framework proposed by Arksey and O'Malley and further refined by the Joanna Briggs Institute, incorporating insights from more recent innovations in scoping review methodology. Sensitive searches of 13 electronic databases from 2007 to 2017 will be supplemented by grey literature searches. Two reviewers using a tool developed for this scoping review will screen eligible studies. Ethics and dissemination The scoping review will undertake a secondary analysis of previously collected data and does not require ethical approval; however, the ethical precepts of copyright will be respected. The results will facilitate a better understanding of the practical health rehabilitation context of people with SCI, the impacts of these rehabilitations and how to build an evidence base for this work in the future. Objective: to identify the reasons for refusal of corneas. Method: this was a cross-sectional, retrospective, descriptive and correlational study composed of 5,560 optical corneas. The information was taken from the notification, organ procurement and distribution centers database as well as donor records. Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis of categorical variables and specific tests with a significance level of 5% for assessing the associations between variables. This study met the ethical aspects of scientific research. Results: 60% of the donors were male and 40% died by circulatory problems. The main reason for refusal as informed by transplant teams is the donor's age and the endothelial cell count. For each year added to the donor's age, there is a 1% decrease in the chance that this cornea will be used for transplantation, and the increase of 100 cells per mm2 increases the chances that this cornea will be used by 9%. Conclusion: the main cause of refusal in the acceptance of corneal tissue is related to the age and the endothelial cell count. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
