El artículo abarca las dinámicas de localización y circulación de saberes africanos como producción de conocimiento, permitiendo entender que estas dos dinámicas no se reducen a procesos e interacciones de las habilidades locales. Por el contrario, se basa en el interés de los antropólogos africanistas y los debates internacionales para describir procesos organizados como son las redes de producción y transmisión de saberes y habilidades, proporcionando una interpretación de estas interacciones en términos de aprendizaje y desarrollo. África históricamente ha sobrellevado relaciones desiguales en sus «saberes locales» y su latente peligro de desaparición, por tal razón, el texto se enfoca en el reconocimiento de estos periodos y la importancia de una nueva política de desarrollo a lo «local». El término «saber local» fue adquiriendo una visión de conocimientos africanos calificada como saberes autóctonos, los cuales son excluidos del campo científico y el mundo occidental. Por su parte en calidad de darle un carácter político surge la «localización» con un efecto de identificar habilidades y saberes relacionadas con un lugar. La circulación se enfoca en la transmisión, transferencia o intercambio, para subrayar la diversidad de los procesos, de las redes y de los filtros por los que «pasan» los conocimientos. Los conocimientos son seleccionados, adaptados, a veces formulados de nuevo antes de ser valorizados, reconocidos e instrumentados, en función de ciertos procesos, compromisos y prácticas que conviene conocer mejor. Se entiende como la articulación entre actividades materiales e intelectuales dando esa transformación a un mundo sociocultural. El autor concluye que las dinámicas localización y circulación son dos procesos que difícilmente pueden trabajar por separado; las dos dinámicas están organizadas por redes orientadas y colaborativas. L'article traite de la dynamique de la localisation et de la circulation des connaissances africaines en tant que production de connaissances, ce qui nous permet de comprendre que ces deux dynamiques ne se réduisent pas aux processus et aux interactions entre compétences locales. Au contraire, il s'appuie sur l'intérêt des anthropologues africains et des débats internationaux pour décrire les processus organisés tels que les réseaux de production et de transmission des connaissances et des compétences, en fournissant une interprétation de ces interactions en termes d'apprentissage et de développement. L'Afrique a historiquement subi des relations inégales par rapport à ses « savoirs locaux » et le danger latent de leur disparition. C'est pourquoi le texte se centre sur la reconnaissance de ces périodes et sur l'importance d'une nouvelle politique de développement « local ». L'expression « savoirs locaux » a permis d'acquérir une vision des savoirs africains qualifiés de savoirs autochtones, qui sont exclus du domaine scientifique et du monde occidental. À son tour, pour lui donner un caractère politique, la « localisation » a pour effet d'identifier les compétences et les connaissances liées à un lieu. La circulation se concentre sur la transmission, le transfert ou l'échange, pour souligner la diversité des processus, des réseaux et filtres à travers lesquels les connaissances « passent ». Elles sont sélectionnées, appropriées, reformulées parfois, avant d’être valorisées, reconnues, instrumentées suivant des procédés, des engagements et des pratiques qu’il convient de mieux connaître. La circulation est comprise comme l'articulation entre les activités matérielles et intellectuelles produisant cette transformation d’un monde socioculturel. L'auteur conclut que les dynamiques de localisation et de circulation sont deux processus qui peuvent difficilement fonctionner séparément ; les deux dynamiques sont organisées par des réseaux orientés et collaboratifs. The article deals with the dynamics of the localisation and circulation of African knowledge as knowledge production, allowing us to understand that these two dynamics are not reduced to processes and interactions between local competencies. On the contrary, it draws on the interest of African anthropologists and international debates to describe organised processes such as networks of production and transmission of knowledge and skills, providing an interpretation of these interactions in terms of learning and development. Africa has historically experienced unequal relations with its “local knowledge” and the latent danger of their disappearance. This is why the text focuses on the recognition of these periods and the importance of a new “local” development policy. The expression “local knowledge” has made it possible to acquire a vision of African knowledge qualified as indigenous knowledge, which is excluded from the scientific field and from the Western world. In turn, in order to give it a political character, “localisation” has the effect of identifying the skills and knowledge linked to a place. Circulation focuses on the transmission, transfer or exchange, as a means of emphasizing the diversity of the processes, networks and filters through which knowledge “passes”. Knowledge is necessarily selected, appropriated, sometimes reformulated, before being promoted, recognized and instrumentalized according to procedures, commitments and practices that need to be better understood. Circulation is understood as the articulation between material and intellectual activities producing this transformation of a socio-cultural world. The author concludes that the dynamics of localisation and circulation are two processes that can hardly function separately; both dynamics are organised by oriented and collaborative networks.

Information is a mathematical concept introduced in 1949 by C. E. Shannon in the mathematical theory of communication (Shannon and Weaver 1964). It is linked to a quantity measure of entropy — seen as both disorder and irreversibility — and to markovian processes (Nicolis and Prigogine, 1989) that could be interpreted as reflections of past experience. Information in binary digit units (bits, octets, etc.) is also what we feed our computers with. The term is therefore technical and is a metaphor from everyday language into probabilities and combinatorial analysis.There are however more than mere analogies between this sort of information, subject to abstract logic, and the “mundane” (humanistic) one consisting in providing knowledge of something to someone, in making sense, in giving instructions, in transmitting factual data or simply in telling or writing down. In practice, mathematical information is an element of knowledge we code for preservation, processing or communication. Coding is therefore the procedure that allows for the transposition of “humanistic” information into mathematical expressions and vice-versa. In systems thinking we also refer to information as a quality describing the “state” of a system. Basing on cultural studies of psychiatry, critical theory and media theory, the author reveals the paranoid logic in radical scripts used by ordinary people and intellectuals to interpret and give meaning to the invasion of new media in both private and social life. She discusses the perplexity, fears and discussions caused by transmitters built into smartphone and video messengers, occasionally using the camera, as well as contextual advertising on Facebook, suspiciously consonant with conversations at dinner. She also considers the practical actions taken by the persecuted to protect themselves against the ubiquitous new media: batteries removed from phones, sealed cameras on laptops, etc. Turning psychiatric diagnosis into a tool for cultural media studies, the author reveals the key episodes in the invention of paranoia, describes it as a discursive operator of delirium, draws attention to the historical content of delirium and its cultural mediation, which is not only described by postmodern clinical psychologists, but also appears in the classical systematics of Krepelin, where one kind of delirium differs from another by its plot. From this perspective, paranoia is seen as a specific way for constructing experience and a cultural technology with its historical specificity. The author discovers the presence of paranoia not only in the actual practices of media consumption, but also in the analytical models of surveillance and new media intrusion into private life. From this perspective Foucault turns out to be the one who normalizes the paranoid impulse, laying it in the foundation of the subjectivity of the modern type, and Orwell – the one who through paranoia indicates the pathology of totalitarian society.

This article aims to identify how the discourse of health risk is built into Bem Estar television show (TV Globo). For this purpose, television is presented as “an analytic of government”, that is, as a resource for acquiring and coordinating techniques to manage different aspects of the viewer’s life. The study that also shows how the pastoral power acts in the contemporaneity bases on the concepts of governmentality and cultural technology. The methodology used was one that approaches the forms of address and it is concluded that one of the forms of insertion of the discourse in the Bem Estar is the instructional one: it permeates the whole program and can awaken in some viewers the desire and pleasure to learn as evidenced by Aprendi com o Bem Estar. Este artículo busca identificar cómo el discurso instituido del riesgo a la salud se construye en el programa Bem Estar (TV Globo). A fin de cumplir ese objetivo, se presenta la televisión como “analítica de gobierno”, es decir, como un recurso para adquirir y coordinar técnicas para gestionar varios aspectos de la vida del espectador. Los conceptos gubernamentalidad y tecnología cultural fundamentan el estúdio que muestra también cómo el poder pastoral actúa en la contemporaneidad. La metodología utilizada fue aquella de los modos de direccionamiento y se há concluido que uno de los modos de inserción del discurso en el programa Bem Estar es el instruccional: atraviesa todo el programa y puede despiertar en algunos espectadores el deseo y el placer de aprender, como evidencia el quadro Aprendi com o Bem Estar. Este artigo busca identificar como o discurso instituído do risco à saúde é construído no programa BemEstar (TV Globo). Para tanto, apresenta-se a televisão como “analítica de governo”, ou seja, como umrecurso para adquirir e coordenar técnicas para gerir vários aspectos da vida do telespectador. Os conceitosde governamentalidade e tecnologia cultural embasam o estudo que mostra também como o poder pastoralatua na contemporaneidade. Utiliza-se a metodologia dos modos de endereçamento e se conclui que um dosmodos de inserção do discurso no Bem Estar é instrucional: permeia todo o programa e pode despertar emalguns telespectadores o desejo e o prazer de aprender, como evidencia o quadro Aprendi com o Bem Estar.

This paper discusses the relation between cultural mapping and participatory community cultural mapping, proposing the integration of a mobile device application (app) in the cultural mapping process of the Arteria project. This application aims to expand the notion of cultural appropriation by exploring how citizens can make crucial contributions to the cultural mapping process. This technology will evolve from and improve Arteria’s digital platform/website by boosting the processes of collection and registration of tangible and intangible cultural assets and the dissemination of registered cultural assets. The app will also enhance the connection among socio-cultural actors and improve the quality of community involvement in the cultural, social, and political dynamics of this cultural mapping project. To justify the need for such a tool, an overview of the project’s intent, objectives, and activities is presented, as well as its philosophy of intervention in local communities., Cet article discute de l’introduction d’une application mobile dans le processus de cartographie culturelle du projet Arteria et met en évidence les liens entre planification culturelle et participation. L’application mobile vise à approfondir le sens de l’appropriation culturelle en explorant en quoi la participation citoyenne peut enrichir les processus de cartographie culturelle. La participation en ligne permettra d’enrichir les données et la plateforme d’Arteria en y ajoutant des références aux propriétés tangibles et intangibles de la culture urbaine. Cet article discute en quoi cette application mobile permettra d’enrichir les liens entre les acteurs socio-culturels et en quoi elle permettra également d’ajouter à la qualité de la participation et de l’implication citoyenne en tenant compte des dynamiques politiques de ces formes de planification.

Tilstedeværelsen av K-pop-produksjon i Norge er ikke tilfeldig. Norske produsenter identifiserer både et økonomisk og et kunstnerisk potensiale i det koreanske markedet, samtidig som koreansk musikk-industri motiverer ikke-koreanske produsenter til å eksportere pop til Korea og til å samarbeide med koreanske produsenter. Denne produksjonsmodellen tilhører S.M. Entertainments globaliseringsstrategi cultural technology. Likevel finnes det marginalt med litteratur om K-pop og K-pop-produksjon. Denne masteravhandlingen utforsker musikalsk innhold og produksjonspraksis i transnasjonalt produserte K-pop låter, og undersøker videre hvordan internasjonale og transnasjonale samarbeid utfolder seg i denne produksjonsprosessen. Oppgaven forsøker å forminske avstanden mellom hovedtemaene i Hallyu-forskning – kultur, fandom, kulturgeografi, økonomi, etnografi, eller en blanding av disse – og K-pops musikalske innhold. The presence of K-pop production in Norway is not coincidental. Norwegian producers have identified economic and artistic market opportunities in Korea, while the Korean music industry has encouraged non-domestic producers to export pop songs to the Korean market and to collaborate with Korean producers. This model of production is a part of corporate globalization strategies such as S.M. Entertainment’s “cultural technology.” Yet, literature is scarce on the music in K-pop and its production. This thesis explores the musical content and production practices in transnationally produced K-pop tracks, and further investigates how international and transnational collaborations work in the production of K-pop. It attempts to bridge the gap between the most occurring themes of Hallyu research – culture, fandom, cultural geography, economics, ethnography or an interdisciplinary amalgam of these – and K-pop’s musical content.

Η μεταπτυχιακή εργασία αναφέρεται στην ηλεκτρονική διαχείριση εκθεμάτων στα ελληνικά μουσεία μέσω της μελέτης των μουσειακών οργανισμών του νομού Αχαΐας. Η καινοτομία της μελέτης αυτής είναι ότι προσεγγίζει τη λειτουργία του σύγχρονου μουσείου παρουσιάζοντας ένα ολοκληρωμένο πλαίσιο διαχείρισης. Η έννοια της μουσειακής διαχείρισης αναλύεται όχι μόνο ως προς τη διοικητική, αλλά και ως προς την τεχνολογική, οικονομική και νομική της διάσταση, υπό το πρίσμα της νέας πραγματικότητας που η ψηφιακή εποχή επιβάλει. Παρουσιάζονται οι λειτουργίες του μουσείου (συλλογή, συντήρηση, έρευνα, πληροφόρηση, εκπαίδευση, έκθεση, επικοινωνία-μάρκετινγκ) και τα σύγχρονα εργαλεία που η μουσειακή διοίκηση έχει στη διάθεσή της για να μετατρέψει το μουσείο σε έναν δυναμικό ανταγωνιστικό οργανισμό παγκόσμιας εμβέλειας. Αναλύεται τέλος η έννοια του εικονικού μουσείου, ως κατεξοχήν φορέας ηλεκτρονικής διαχείρισης εκθεμάτων. Στηριζόμενη στην παραπάνω εκτενή βιβλιογραφική ανάλυση η παρούσα μελέτη προσπαθεί να ερευνήσει το πλαίσιο εφαρμογής της ηλεκτρονικής διαχείρισης εκθεμάτων στα μουσεία μέσω της διεξαγωγής έρευνας με ερωτηματολόγιο στους μουσειακούς οργανισμούς της περιοχής. Η έρευνα αυτή πραγματοποιεί συγκριτική αξιολόγηση των μουσείων της περιοχής με βάση συγκεκριμένα κριτήρια και εξάγει πολύτιμα συμπεράσματα σχετικά με τη στάση και τις ικανότητες των μουσείων απέναντι στις δυνατότητες που προσφέρει η ψηφιακή πολιτισμική τεχνολογία και φανερώνει τις τάσεις και τις προοπτικές της μουσειακής διαχείρισης. The present study refers to the electronic management of exhibits in greek museums focusing on the research of museums of the prefecture of Achaia. The innovation of this study is that it approaches the administration of modern museum presenting a complete frame of management. The significance of museum management is analyzed not only from its administrative aspect, but also from its technological, economic and legal dimension, in the context of new reality that the digital era imposes. The functions of museum (collection, maintainance, research, information, education, exhibition, communication-marketing) are presented such as the modern tools that museum management has in its disposal in order to transform the museum in a dynamic, competitive organisation of world impact. Finally, is analyzed the significance of virtual museum, as the eminent institution of electronic management of exhibits. Supported in the precede extensive bibliographic analysis, the present study tries to explore the context of application of electronic management of exhibits in the museums via the conduct of research with questionnaire to the museums of the region. This research carries out a comparative evaluation of the examined museums using specific criteria and it exports useful conclusions with regard to the attitude and the ability of museums toward the possibilities that the digital cultural technology offers and reveals tendencies and prospects of museum management.

Basketry as a traditional handicraft is a very important activity in French Guyana. Among Amerindian groups, it is the masculine handicraft par excellence, whilst among Creole groups the activity is less clearly linked to gender. Through this study of the different woven forms, theirs uses and the myths and rituals associated with this form of material culture, I offer a comparative analysis of the role of basketry in different Amerindians communities (Arawak-Lokono, Kali'na, Palikur, Teko, Wayana, Wayãpi) and, secondarily, among Creole and Aluku communities. If Guyanese basketry is an activity common to all the groups of the Guiana shield, the forms adopted by each group reflect the complex processes of identity demarcation among the different communities of this region. Contemporary basketry practices make use of all the parts of an incredible diversity of plants (over 117 botanical species), aroumans (Ischnosiphon spp.) being the emblematic genera. The dissertation reveals that basket makers detain botanical, ecological and technical knowledge of great finesse. This activity has long been limited to the manufacture of production tools, mainly those used to turned bitter cassava into food. Today, with the incursion of money and moderns goods, the practices of basketry are changing as some traditionally woven tools are being replaced by manufactured products. Techniques and some motives are being forgotten, and marketing takes an unprecedented scale. I outline how this transition is taking place in the various Guyanese communities studied, particularly with regard to technical, cultural and botanical knowledge. I explore the various factors surrounding the transmission of these knowledges in a context where the activity is becoming increasingly commercialised. In sum, the thesis presents an ethnobotanical, socio-economic and ethnographic analysis of the evolution of basketry and of its place in Guyanese communities as they increasingly come to interact with the contemporary world., La vannerie en tant qu'artisanat traditionnel est une activité très importante en Guyane française. Elle est chez les Amérindiens l'artisanat masculin par excellence même si chez les Créoles cette activité est moins liée au genre. À travers le recensement de toutes les formes tressées, de leurs usages, des mythes et des rites liés à la vannerie, je montre dans ce travail comment cette culture matérielle est profondément ancrée chez les différentes communautés amérindiennes (Arawak-Lokono, Kali'na, Palikur, Teko, Wayana et Wayãpi), et secondairement créoles ou aluku. Et, si les vanneries de Guyane appartiennent au complexe culturel du Plateau des Guyanes, il n'empêche que chacune d'elles participent au démarquage identitaire des différentes communautés de cette Région. De plus, pour tresser ces formes, les vanniers utilisent toutes les parties d'une incroyable diversité de plantes (plus de 117 espèces botaniques), les aroumans (Ischnosiphon spp.) en constituant le genre emblématique. Je montre ainsi que les vanniers sont détenteurs d'un savoir botanique, écologique et technique d'une grande finesse. D'autre part, cette activité a longtemps été uniquement destinée à la fabrication d'outils de production, essentiellement pour transformer en aliment le manioc amer ; or, aujourd'hui le monde moderne et l'argent pénètrent toutes les communautés de cette Région. Ainsi, la vannerie se transforme, certains de ses outils sont remplacés par des produits manufacturés, des techniques et une partie des motifs sont oubliés alors que la commercialisation connaît une ampleur sans précédent. En montrant comment la transition se passe chez les différentes communautés guyanaises tant d'un point de vue des savoirs technique, culturel que botanique mais également quelle évolution cette activité connaît en devenant de plus en plus commerciale, j'explore les facteurs de transmission de ces savoirs. Au final, cette thèse propose une véritable analyse ethnobotanique, socio-économique et ethnologique retraçant l'évolution de la vannerie, sa place dans les communautés guyanaises ainsi que sa confrontation au monde contemporain.
