The original descriptions of nine monodontid and 21 delphinid nominal taxa were revisited, thereby revealing necessary addenda and corrigenda elucidating and solving earlier problems of cetacean nomenclature. This report provides further notes and is an addition to the 2021 work of Jefferson entitled Nomenclature of the Dolphins, Porpoises, and Small Whales: A Review and Guide to the Early Taxonomic Literature (NOAA Professional Paper NMFS 21). Aquila Legionis volumes 24-25 (2021-2022) were a special issue publishing the Database of Military Inscriptions and Papyri of Early Roman Palestine, collecting 406 different inscriptions and papyri from or relating to Palestine in the period 63 BCE-130 CE. One of the more exciting things about the study of antiquity is discoveries that cast new light upon existing theories. There is a plan to annually collect relevant discoveries and any corrigenda in the latest issue of Aquila Legionis. This is the first such supplement to DMIPERP. It was because of our mistakes we mixed the figures used in our manuscript, and after it was published, we attention that our figures were in the wrong place. Thus, we provide below the new figure with corrected information.

Corrigenda issued by international organizations provide a most relevant source for the analysis of translation errors and what they reveal about institutional translation quality control and correction processes. This study examines corrigenda published in three settings (the European Union institutions involved in law-making, the United Nations and the World Trade Organization) in three years over a decade: 2005, 2010 and 2015. It reviews the procedures used to introduce translation corrections in these institutions before presenting the results of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of translation-triggered corrigenda in two target languages, French and Spanish, per setting, year, genre, error type and severity. A distinction is made between content reformulation corrections and minor formal corrections for the comparison of diachronic changes and semantic impact levels of corrected errors between the institutions considered. The findings confirm that minor formal errors may have meaning-distorting effects that are as serious as content reformulation errors; when this is not the case, they rarely trigger single-correction corrigenda. The UN recourse to “reissues for technical reasons” for translation corrections and the growing number of corrigenda to EU legal acts and their implications for translation quality assurance and legal certainty are further contextualized and discussed drawing on both corpus analysis and consultations with institutional informants.

An expression of concern (EoC) alerts readers to new considerations or concerns about a paper, usually at the post-publication stage. Authors and readers are left in a state of uncertainty as they await a resolution. This uncertainty might create a state of stress or anxiety for some authors. The paper's findings may be either validated and confirmed, resolving the EoC, or the paper's validity or loss of integrity is confirmed, leading to an erratum or retraction. Academics wanting to cite a paper to which an EoC is associated might decide not to cite it. If an EoC is reversed, i.e., if the post-publication findings annul the initial concerns, then the authors and journal may suffer a “loss” of citations. Conversely, if concerns are confirmed post-publication, and the EoC develops into a retraction, then any citations that were rewarded while the paper was in a state of uncertainty were rewarded unfairly. In such a case, both author- and journal-based metrics should be adjusted. Using the Retraction Watch database until April 20, 2021, we assessed 20 cases of EoCs in the neuroscience literature to appreciate how EoCs have been processed. After excluding one author-issued EoC, from 19 editor-issued EoCs, 10 were resolved in an average of 220 days while nine remain unresolved. In this article, we suggest the need to make the processes associated with an EoC more visible and transparent to the academic community, allowing editors to make the correct decisions regarding its resolution.

ZooKeys 959: 17–86. After the publication of the work referenced above, our attention was drawn to misidentified species of Dermestidae Attagenus obtusus (Gyllenhal in Schönherr, 1808). The correct identification for this species is Orbeola hirsutulum (Reiche in Mulsant et Rey, 1868).

In a paper about the biodiversity of Microgastrinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) in Ottawa Canada (Fernandez-Triana et al. 2016) some figure captions are incorrect. That includes three cases where the species name shown does not correspond with the actual species being depicted in those figures. To correct those mistakes, we detail below the correct captions for the corresponding figures.

In a recent paper we described four new species of Dibrachys from China. Unfortunately in this paper we failed to specify the depositories of the primary types which render the names unavailable according to Article 16.4.2 of the fourth edition of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999). The short note is to rectify this situation and make the names available. All the Holotypes and paratypes of the four new species (listed as following) were deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS).

Three out of the 80 plates of fine line drawings of male terminalia in the book entitled The Drosophilidae (Diptera) of Fennoscandia and Denmark, published by Brill, Leiden, were misprinted. Here, these three plates have been reprinted, in the manner that they should have been published originally, and provide an accurate representation of the complex male terminalia of Amiota subtusradiata, Leucophenga quinquemaculata, and Phortica variegata.
