Purpose: To describe the impact of secondary organizational socialization on 10 early career faculty members' (FMs) delivery of physical education teacher education (PETE). Method: The FMs worked in universities situated on three different continents. Data were collected with four qualitative techniques (formal interviews, written ideal PETE program, document analysis, and prerecorded film) and analyzed by using analytic induction and constant comparison. Findings: FMs delivered PETE that was a hybrid of the behavioristic, traditional/craft, critical-inquiry, and personalistic orientations to teacher education. The cultures and conditions in which FMs worked were mainly positive and favorable and aided them in delivering PETE. FMs coped with negative cultural elements and unfavorable conditions that constrained them through strategic compliance, strategic redefinition, or finding a new position. Conclusion: Findings were similar across continents and should help with efforts to improve the transition of neophyte FMs into the workplace. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Up to 175 conditions influencing interprofessional practices have been identified. Still, little is known about to what extent these conditions interact, influence communication, and vary across professional groups and settings. We explored these knowledge gaps by examining communication among staff in home care and home nursing units in two Danish municipalities, Herning and Holstebro. Conditions were categorized into two types (programme and context) and two levels (professional and organizational). Structural Equation Modeling was used with a sample of 395 staff and 21 managers to analyze the condition categories’ interactions, influences on communication, and variations by unit type and municipality. Context conditions strongly influenced programme conditions on the professional and organizational levels. Organizational-level context conditions had no significant influence, organizational-level programme conditions had a weak influence, and professional-level programme and context conditions had moderate influences on communication. Lastly, professional-level programme conditions had the biggest influence on communication for staff in home care units and in Holstebro. In contrast, professional-level context conditions had the biggest influence on communication for staff in home nursing units and in Herning. These findings offer unique insights into conditions’ interactions, influences, and variances, contributing to our understanding of what makes communication work and for whom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study was to explore, analyse, and critically discuss conditions for Swedish ICT coordinators working on school digitalisation in a local municipal school context. More specifically, the study draws on findings from interviews with 13 Swedish information and communication technology (ICT) coordinators working in eight municipalities that have adopted two contrasting approaches to school digitalisation. One is a general approach with a strong element of individual within-school accountability in the work, and the other a specific approach in which such work is addressed more as an organisational process with involvement of municipal governing officials. Findings show that the two approaches set different conditions in terms of how and with whom the ICT coordinators work and the foci of their efforts although both are framed by the same national educational policy. A conclusion is that the ICT coordinators' role, function, and responsibility should be considered in parity to the level of support, in-school resources, and mandate given to them, not least when organisational instability and reorganisations hamper the work in progress. This series of six articles is inspired by themes arising from the Royal College of Midwives' state of midwifery education report. The series explores the current landscape and challenges in educating the future midwifery workforce, particularly those that relate to the higher education workforce. This fourth article looks at what it is like to work in midwifery education compared to in practice as a midwife. The challenges associated with transition, remuneration, workload, casual working and the breadth of the midwifery education role are examined, particularly in comparison to other disciplines in higher education. The article explores how educators can be better supported in their training of the future midwifery workforce, while assuring their own progression and equal treatment in an increasingly competitive and tightly regulated sector. Various different impairments and their interactions can cause reading problems referred to as "dyslexia". Since reading requires the interaction of many abilities, the impairment of each of these abilities can result in dyslexia. Therefore, the diagnosis must differentiate various kinds of dyslexia. The diagnosis of a certain kind of dyslexia cannot be delimited to the investigation and description of symptoms but must also include the investigation of the causes of each kind of dyslexia. For this purpose, a scientifically unequivocal concept of causation and appropriate methods are needed to distinguish them from co-existing impairments that have no causal influence on reading performance. The results of applying these methods cannot be adequately accounted for by a non-scientific, intuitive understanding of necessary and sufficient conditions and causation. The methods suitable for revealing the causes of dyslexia are described in detail, and the results of applying these methods in experiments, in which 356 children with developmental dyslexia participated, are reviewed. Since the concepts of "necessary" and "sufficient" conditions and "causation" proposed in the philosophy of science are not suitable for describing causes of dyslexia and their interaction, they are replaced by a more detailed, experimentally based conceptual framework that provides an accurate description of the conditions required for correct reading and the causes of dyslexia. The accuracy of predictive microbial models used in quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) relies on the relevancy of conditions influencing growth or inactivation. The continued use of log‐linear models in studies remains widespread, despite evidence that they fail to accurately account for biphasic kinetics or include parameters to account for the effect of environmental conditions within the model equation. Although many experimental studies detail conditions of interest, studies that do not do so lead to uncertainty in QMRA modeling because the applicability of the predictive microbial models to the conditions in the risk scenarios is questionable or must be extrapolated. The current study systematically reviewed 65 articles that provided quantitative data and documented the conditions influencing the inactivation or growth of Shiga toxin‐producing Escherichia coli (STEC) O157:H7 in leafy greens. The conditions were identified and categorized as environmental, biological, chemical, and/or processing. Our study found that temperature (n = 37 studies) and sanitizing and washing procedures (n = 12 studies) were the most studied conditions in the farm‐to‐table continuum of leafy greens. In addition, relative humidity was also established to affect growth and inactivation in more than one stage in the continuum. This study proposes the evaluation of the interactive effects of multiple conditions in processing and storage stages from controlled experiments as they relate to the fate of STEC O157:H7 in leafy greens for future quantitative analysis. This article focuses on the impact of disasters and accidents on the conditions for socio-economic and demographic development of rural areas in Bulgaria. The topicality of the topic is caused by the necessity of the new conditions of globalization to overcome regional and local risks related to the way of life of the population. To a large extent, the processes of urbanization and the relocation of the population in urban areas lead to the creation of threats to its security, mainly by disrupting the reliability of the functioning of the natural-ecological and socio-economic systems. Rural areas and their potential for security and regional development must therefore be strengthened. In this regard, it is important to create the necessary basic conditions for the life and development of the population - minimum infrastructure, taking measures to reduce natural and environmental risks through a system encompassing activities and facilities for monitoring, maintaining, and cleaning riverbeds and forests in sparsely populated areas in Bulgaria.

AbstractObjective: The coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), has had a profound global impact on individual health and well-being in adults and children. While most fully recover from COVID-19, a relatively large subgroup continues to experience persistent physical, cognitive, and emotional/behavioral symptoms beyond the initial infection period. The World Health Organization has termed this phenomenon “Post-COVID-19 Condition” (PCC), better known as “Long COVID.” Due to the cognitive and psychosocial symptoms, neuropsychologists often assess and recommend treatment for individuals with Long COVID. However, guidance for neuropsychologists’ involvement in clinical care, policy-making, and research has not yet been developed. The authors of this manuscript convened to address this critical gap and develop guidance for clinical neuropsychologists working with patients presenting with Long COVID. Method: Authors include pediatric and adult neuropsychologists with expertise in Long COVID and behavioral health. All authors have been engaged in clinical and research efforts examining the impact of COVID-19. Authors summarized the literature-to-date pertinent to the neuropsychiatric sequelae of Long COVID and developed guidance for neuropsychologists working with individuals with Long COVID. Conclusions: Research findings regarding neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with Long COVID are mixed and limited by methodological differences. In Les Cinq Sens (1985) Michel Serres proposes an oblique but suggestive history of the transcendental in Western philosophy. Within this context he also proposes a transformation of the transcendental in order to think the difference between the conditions and the conditioned without resorting to a theological anchor point. In brief, Serres argues that the transcendental is nothing other than local circumstances that (sometimes) coalesce into contingent stabilities. This article will examine both Serres's proposal for the transcendental as well as the history that leads to it in order to assess the value of Serres's contribution to the longstanding problem of the transcendental in Western philosophy. Objectives: this scoping review aimed to explore the diversity of existing nature-based mindfulness (NBM) interventions. The specific objectives of this review were to (1) describe the practices and methods that are used in NBM interventions, and to (2) determine the environmental conditions that are typically associated with NBM interventions. Method: Thirty peer-reviewed scientific studies were identified via a systematic PRISMA search protocol and then thematically analysed and categorically organised. Results: In relation to the first research objective, a typological scheme for classifying NBM interventions was proposed in which four main categorizations of NBM interventions were identified, including (1) conventional practices combined with nature, (2) activity-based practices using nature, (3) NBM therapy practices, and (4) emerging practices. These themes demonstrate the diversity of existing NBM interventions and provide a more integrated understanding of the applicability of these interventions across different clinical and non-clinical contexts. In relation to the second research objective, existing NBM interventions were found to be conducted in (1) naturally occurring, (2) curated natural, and (3) simulated natural environments. Within these categories, a diverse range of restorative environments were identified as suitable contexts for NBM interventions, with forest-based interventions being the most commonly used environment. Conclusions: Overall, this study contributes to a more integrated understanding of the practices, methods, and environmental conditions typical of existing NBM interventions, proposes a classification scheme for NBM interventions, and identifies a number of new developments within the field as well as promising avenues for future research and practice. The study is to determine optimum storage stability of plantain flour at different material packages. The results showed that the packaging materials and duration of storage had an effect on all the proximate parameters and functional properties of the stored plantain flour within 12 weeks. The bulk density, swelling power, water absorption capacity, oil absorption capacity, solubility index and dispersibility of plantain flour decreased in plastic container (PC), low density poly ethylene (LDPE) and laminated paper bag (LPB) from 2 to 12 weeks of storage except in bulk density that had an increase in both LDPE and LPB (0.69g/mL-1 in 2 weeks to 0.72g/mL-1 in 12-weeks and 0.56g/mL-1 in 2 weeks to 0.67g/mL-1 in12 weeks) and also water absorption capacity and solubility index that had an increase only in LPB(143.23% to 168.18% and18.94% to 19.09% from 2 to 12 weeks respectively) within the storage period. An increase in ash content (1.03% to 1.47%, in LDPE and 1.47% to 1.62% in PC), protein content (1.20% to 2.24%, in LDPE, 0.90% to 2.03% in PC and 1.20% to 1.89% in LPB) fat content (1.35% to 2.45%, in LDPE, 0.97% to 1.91% in PC and 1.24% to 1.89% in LPB) and crude fibre (3.24% to 3.60%, in LDPE, 3.14% to 3.79% in PC and 2.96% to 3.88% in LPB ) were discovered within 2 to 12 weeks of storage. The moisture content (7.43% to 4.87%, in LDPE, 6.46% to 5.23% in PC and 7.02% to 4.86% in LPB) and carbohydrate (72.67% to 50.80%, in LDPE, 68.92% to 51.03% in PC and 73.92% to 50.89% in LPB) decreased within the storage period. Based on the results of the study, we discovered that shelf life of plantain flour depends on the functional properties and proximate composition of the flour, packaging materials and storage durations. The degree to which Grinnellian and Eltonian niche characteristics influence species distribution may depend on latitude. Tropical regions are environmentally stable and resource-rich, whereas temperate regions are comparatively less environmentally stable (e.g., environmental filtering). Moreover, phylogenetic niche conservatism could influence distributions by inhibiting the ability for species to colonize environmentally different locations. Herein, we examine relationships between niche characteristics, passerine distributions, and phylogenetic niche conservatism across the latitudinal gradient. We used environmental and climatic variables to characterize Grinnellian niches and diets to characterize Eltonian niches. We conducted variation partitioning with retained components from ordination methods to evaluate the degree of association of Grinnellian and Eltonian niche characteristics with passerine distribution across latitudes. We examined the relationship between phylogenetic signal and niche characteristics with a phylogenetic regression. Passerine distributions were more related to environmental gradients than resources across latitudes. While niche conservatism was prevalent in Eltonian niche characteristics, phylogeny was related to Grinnellian niche characteristics in only 46% of biomes. There was no latitudinal gradient in phylogenetic niche conservatism or the degree to which Eltonian and Grinnellian niche characteristics relate to passerine distribution. Niche conservatism, albeit weak, was present for Grinnellian niche characteristics, thus potentially influencing the expansion of passerine distributions into the northern hemisphere. In this study, the author shows that the civil circuit cannot be blocked in any way, it must „flow", regardless of whether the obligations of any nature, of their source, are executed voluntarily or, otherwise, their enforcement is required. If the obligation is not executed voluntarily, the creditor can resort to the legal means made available by law, meaning that he can ask for enforcement, by resorting to the coercive force, in order to force the debtor to execute his obligation, thus making effective the binding force of the obligation report. In principle, the enforcement is done in kind, because only in this way the creditor receives exactly the benefit, as it arose, which will lead to the satisfaction of his claim right. The enforcement in kind is a form of direct execution or execution ad ipsam rem, which requires, in principle, the precise execution of the obligation as it was initially established and should not be confused with the reparation in kind of the prejudice, considering that the latter represents one of the forms of reparation, along with the damages, of the prejudice. The enforcement in kind is a right that the law confers on the creditor and which arises from the non-execution without justification of the assumed obligation, while the reparation in kind of the prejudice involves the verification of the conditions of the civil liability. The creditor has the right to the full, accurate and timely fulfilment of the obligation, a rule that is supplemented by the one according to which the creditor can always request that the debtor be forced to fulfil the obligation in kind, unless such execution is impossible. As legal means, in relation to the object of the obligations susceptible to enforcement, the creditor can request: the enforcement of the obligations to give; the enforcement of the obligations to do; the removal of the effects of the acts or deeds carried out as a result of not complying with the obligation to abstain, not to do. Digital inequalities research has lacked a focus on voluntary non-use and its consequences, whereas digital disconnection studies have focused on non-use but neglected the material implications of digital inequalities. Located at the intersection between these two approaches, this article relies on twelve semi-structured interviews, observations and informal dialogues to examine digital media uses, inequalities and the meanings of disconnection in a village of rural Turkey. The findings show that the main inequalities are due to infrastructure, geography and socio-economic conditions. These inequalities shape the practices and meanings of digital disconnection, revealing obstacles, frustrations and a forced kind of disconnection that is very different from the romantic portrayal of detox retreats that dominate the literature in the Global North. The insights of this research illuminate the unexplored area of intersection between digital inequalities and disconnection, engaging a fruitful conversation that enriches both fields of inquiry and unfolds future research opportunities. Water has prominence over all the usable natural resources to humankind due to its very significance to human life. Approximately, 70% of Ghana's populace relies on groundwater exploitation for freshwater consumption. Managed aquifer recharge is capable of sustaining water resources for all livelihood activities. Underperformance of MAR systems is often due to site-specific hydrogeological conditions turning out to be less favorable than anticipated. This study evaluates the site-specific conditions for MAR sites identification in granitic aquifers, integrating in situ hydrogeological factors and GIS-MCDA. One hundred and twenty-one datasets from different boreholes comprising hydro geophysics, borehole drilling and pump test reports were used. The constraint mapping results indicate 92% suitable for MAR application within the study area, implying available enormous bare lands for flooding recharge technique. The suitability analysis discloses that 48 and 51% of the studied area fall within very high and high suitable zones, respectively, showing convincing and great potential to support infiltration ponds for MAR technology application. The valuable information provided through this study can serve as a guide for MAR implementation and for sustainable groundwater resources management within the Upper East region of Ghana. Probation systems rely on urine screens to sort people for punishment. Probationers who test "clean" show that they are worthy of remaining in the community, while those who test "dirty" make themselves vulnerable to incarceration. This article draws comparisons between the testing mechanisms used in modern probation systems and the testing mechanisms used in the medieval ordeal. In undergoing a medieval ordeal, "probands" went through a physical test to determine whether their bodies were pure or impure. Those who failed the test were led away for punishment. Most people subjected to the medieval ordeal were poor, as are most people in modern probations systems who must prove that their urine is "clean." [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Imamate, Imam, and the followers in the Islamic faith is a topic of great significance, with the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The fact that imamate is a means of communication between the imam and the follower in prayer makes imamate a high and noble rank in religion, Imamate holds great significance in Islam, with its roots in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). From this aspect, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, emphasizing its importance from the very beginning of Islam, to the subject of imamate than anything else, the concept of Imamate has been given immense importance starting from the migration of the Prophet himself and continuing throughout his life until he died and met his Lord. Even when he fell ill or embarked on a journey, the importance of Imamate remained paramount and he would delegate someone else to lead the prayer in his place, which demonstrates that human society is prone to neglecting the mention of Allah, indulging in worldly desires or lustful desire and straying from the path of righteousness can lead to spiritual illness. The Imamate addresses these ailments and provides remedies. And also the wisdom and philosophy of the obligation of the congregation in prayer, not just individually but collectively only congregation, so that individual prayer is allowed only. (rational), and adherence to correct recitation or memorization and preservation of the Quran. Likewise, the imam must possess the characteristics and qualities of imamate, such as scientific, practical, and leadership (guidance) characteristics and qualities, that distinguish him from the common people and scholars. It is important to understand that the responsibilities of an imamate entail varying levels of intellectual, the quality and weakness of knowledge, and the rulings and actions of an Imamate may differ in terms of the practical actions of the imam, such as a righteous person, a sinful person or sinners, and a person who is hidden (not known for his actions). The paper presents data on study of meat productivity horses Yakut breed. As a result, it was found that meat productivity of horses, including quality of meat products, largely depends on feed conditions. As result of research, it was found that animals from second and third groups exceeded first group in pre-slaughter weight by 3.29 and 2.99 %, carcass weight by 4.42 and 3.38 %, fat by 8.85 and 3.05 %. The study of meat quality was carried out in terms of chemical composition and organoleptic characteristics. During analysis, it was found that meat samples of first group contained more moisture compared to second and third groups by 1.96 and 1.10 %. At the same time, second and third groups exceeded the first group in protein by 1.43 and 0.73 %, fat by 0.53 and 0.36 %, P by 1.62 and 0.54 %, Cu by 9.52 and 4.76 %, Mg by 9.23 and 5.14 %, Se by 3.57 and 1.79 %, as well as vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2 and B3. The organoleptic evaluation of meat products found that all samples met quality requirements of the standard. Thus, analysis of the data showed that meat productivity of horses depends to a greater extent on feeding conditions.

With partial shading conditions, it is essential to acquire Maximum Power Point at which the Photovoltaic systems (PV) operate effectively despite the variation in the cell temperature and incident angle of sunlight rays on the panels. This study explores the use of a Smell Agent Optimization (SAO) algorithm for Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in partial shaded PV systems. The proposed MPPT system is composed of a PV model, a DC-DC converter model and a control part. The Smell Agent Algorithm (SAA) was adopted in the control part of the MPPT system to implement the optimization algorithm using four different shading patterns (SPs) and to calculate the optimal switching duty cycle of the DC-DC converter. The effectiveness of the proposed system was verified using simulations in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The SAO respectively track maximum values for Power, Voltage and Current as 845.8476 W, 211.7308 V, 3.99492 A while the maximum values for Power, Voltage and Current for Perturb and Observe (P and O) are 845.0465 W, 211.6305 V, 3.993028 A respectively during SP1. The results showed that the SAO algorithm has excellent tracking results in terms of convergence speed, accuracy, power extracted stability, and dynamic response in reaching the optimum point.

The territory of cities with a changing environment, a significant density of population, industrial and transport facilities, daily activities that ensure its vital activity and cause significant greenhouse gas emissions, causes a significant contribution to climate change, which is one of the most acute environmental problems of our time. Purpose. To assess the manifestations of air temperature changes in the city of Zhytomyr for the period 2000-2022. Methods. Statistical, the coefficient of deviation essentiality of air temperature from the average long-term values was calculated in accordance with the methodology of Pede D.A. . Results. The information base of the research was the data on average annual and average monthly air temperatures in Zhytomyr of the Zhytomyr Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology. It was determined that in the period 2000–2022, the air temperature in the city increased by 1.9 °C compared to the climatic norm. 2015, 2019, and 2020 were the warmest during the period of our observations. Based on the calculation of the coefficients of of deviation essentiality of air temperature deviations from long-term average values, it was determined that for individual months of the year for the period 2000–2022, 2.9% of recorded conditions were close to extreme, and 31.9% – recorded conditions that differ significantly from the perennial average, the remaining 65.2% have conditions close to normal. According to the years of observation, temperature conditions that are significantly different from the long-term average occurred in 2002, 2007, 2008, 2015-2020, close to normal - during the rest of the years. Conclusion. The obtained results are important for understanding the problem of increasing air temperature in Zhytomyr and developing measures to adapt to climate change at the local level.

The article identifies the legal grounds for exercising by an individual the right to claim compensation for damage caused by a criminal offence at the expense of the State (the State Budget of Ukraine), and analyses and identifies the specific features of such legal grounds. It has been noted that for compensation of damage caused to a victim as a result of a criminal offence at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine, the mere commission of a criminal offence as the basis for civil liability is not sufficient. Therefore, additional grounds are such legal facts as failure to identify the person who committed the criminal offence or if such a person is insolvent. In addition, it has been noted that the right to compensation for damage to an individual who has suffered from a criminal offence arises from the moment when circumstances which make it impossible to compensate (reimburse) the damage by the person who caused it occur, and not from the moment when such damage is inflicted. The article clarifies the peculiarities of an individual's exercise of the right to compensation for damage caused by a criminal offence at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine. Therefore, when determining the persons obliged to compensate for the damage caused by a criminal offence, it is important to distinguish between the person who actually caused the damage and the person who should compensate (reimburse) the damage (the State at the expense of the State Budget). It has been stressed that the State is not liable for the damage caused by a criminal offence. This refers to the State’s obligation to compensate for the damage caused by a criminal offence, subject to certain legal facts. The conditions for imposing the obligation on the state (the State Budget of Ukraine) are as follows: the damage (property, physical (bodily), moral (non-property)) must be caused by a criminal offence to an individual, his/her family members or close relatives; the damage is a consequence of a criminal offence; the person who committed the criminal offence has not been identified (or the person has been identified but cannot be found); the person who caused the damage must be insolvent. Ways to improve the mechanism of legal regulation of relations for compensation for damage caused by a criminal offence at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine are proposed. The legal mechanism for compensation for damage caused by a criminal offence, with a view to ensuring the functions of civil liability, should be in the area of civil law regulation of relations for compensation for damage.

The study of patient satisfaction with the conditions of medical care in «COVID» hospitals, which were mainly repurposed from specialized medical organizations within the shortest time, is of particular relevance. The purpose of the study was an assessment of satisfaction with the conditions of medical care for patients with a new coronavirus infection. Materials and Methods. The study was conducted by questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed by the authors included 29 questions. The questionnaire consisted of 3 groups of questions: the first group was related to the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents (gender, age, marital status, education, etc.); in the second group, respondents assessed their health status at the time of the survey; in the third group - respondents answered questions regarding satisfaction with the conditions of care and the need for additional care. The results of a survey of 341 patients diagnosed with U07.1 Coronavirus infection COVID-19 included in the study were divided into 2 groups: 1 group - patients treated in outpatient care (173; 50,9 %); group 2 - patients of « COVID « hospitals (167; 49,1 %). The total number of examined men was 20.8 %, women - 79.2 %. The median age was 43,2 ± 12,1 years. Most of the women were persons aged 40-49 years (38.2 %), among men - aged 50-59 years (43.7 %). Results and Discussion. At the time of the survey, patients of the «covid» hospital rated their health on average by 3,58±0,11 points, and patients who applied to the clinic by 3,72±0,09 (p 0.05) points. The level of availability of diagnostic studies, free drug provision and the attitude of doctors, patients of the clinic rated slightly lower. On the contrary, patients of the clinic rated the conditions of stay in the medical organization higher than patients of the «covid» hospital. After suffering from COVID-19, the interviewed patients noted the need for additional assistance. The most frequent of them were: spa treatment - 39.3 %; additional diagnostic care (examination) - 15.0 %; preventive care (professional examinations) - 15.0 %. Conclusion. A sociological survey made it possible to establish and compare the level of satisfaction with the provision of medical care for patients with a new coronavirus infection in medical and preventive institutions. It is important to further monitor patients’ opinions on their satisfaction with the organization of medical care and identify needs that can serve as the basis for planning, providing and maintaining the quality of services during the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergencies.

Various different impairments and their interactions can cause reading problems referred to as “dyslexia”. Since reading requires the interaction of many abilities, the impairment of each of these abilities can result in dyslexia. Therefore, the diagnosis must differentiate various kinds of dyslexia. The diagnosis of a certain kind of dyslexia cannot be delimited to the investigation and description of symptoms but must also include the investigation of the causes of each kind of dyslexia. For this purpose, a scientifically unequivocal concept of causation and appropriate methods are needed to distinguish them from co-existing impairments that have no causal influence on reading performance. The results of applying these methods cannot be adequately accounted for by a non-scientific, intuitive understanding of necessary and sufficient conditions and causation. The methods suitable for revealing the causes of dyslexia are described in detail, and the results of applying these methods in experiments, in which 356 children with developmental dyslexia participated, are reviewed. Since the concepts of “necessary” and “sufficient” conditions and “causation” proposed in the philosophy of science are not suitable for describing causes of dyslexia and their interaction, they are replaced by a more detailed, experimentally based conceptual framework that provides an accurate description of the conditions required for correct reading and the causes of dyslexia.

If one or more criminal laws have intervened from the commission of the crime to the final judgment of the case, the most favorable law shall be applied. When the previous criminal law is more favorable, the complementary punishments that have a counterpart in the new criminal law are applied in the content and limits provided by it, and those that are no longer provided in the new criminal law are no longer applied. The Criminal Code regulates only the situation between the commission of the crime and the final judgment of the case. If a change in the conditions of incrimination or prosecution that would lead to impunity would occur after the final judgment was pronounced, during the execution of the sentence or after execution, when it still produces certain consequences, the respective convicts would not be able to benefit from the application of the criminal law under the legal basis. Understanding the criminal law in a broad sense, as a norm that includes not only the norms that provide for criminalization and punishment, but all kinds of criminal norms, as well as those extra-criminal norms that the criminal law refers to and which have an impact on incrimination, criminal liability or punishment in the sense that they can remove, aggravate or mitigate them. To be justiciable does not only mean to answer before the court for the committed act, but also to benefit from a more favorable criminal law, so that a balance is established between criminal liability and the need to reintegrate into society a suspect/defendant/convict for the smooth running of an open society. Introduction. The research addresses the problems related to biological risk and the health of workers involved in agricultural and livestock activities. These agricultural personnel, when carrying out their functions, are permanently exposed to incidents and accidents related to their work, which becomes a relevant issue to consider an investigation that allows approaching elements involved within the framework of Safety and Health at work. Aim. Describe the acts and conditions associated with the state of health and prevention of biological risk in workers in the agricultural sector. Materials and methods. This study is based on a quantitative approach, adopting a descriptive and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The target population was voluntarily selected and consisted of 15 participants, 6 women and 9 men, all residents of the municipality of Consacá, located in Nariño in southwestern Colombia and linked to agricultural or livestock activities. For the collection of data, the Survey of Morbidity Felt Acts and Unsafe Conditions for Biological Risk to Workers in the Agricultural Sector (ACIRB), designed specifically for this study, was used. This survey is made up of 9 items that evaluate acts and conditions related to biological risk in the work environment. Results. The study presents results in the variables "Acts" and "Conditions". Regarding the "Acts", the behavior of workers in medical examinations, self-medication, use of Personal Protection Elements (PPE) and biosafety information are analyzed. Some performed medical examinations and practiced self-medication. The use of PPE varied, including traditional methods, while first aid kits were absent. In relation to "Conditions", work symptoms and resources for PPE were explored. Various symptoms and economic limitations were identified that led to homemade solutions. conclusions. The research managed to understand the acts and conditions related to health and prevention of biological risks in agricultural workers. This paper aims to identify the necessary or sufficient conditions that promote the installed photovoltaic (pv) capacity in Mexico. To do this, different configurations of conditions are identified, which can lead to the same desired case, through the comparative qualitative analysis of complex cases. The analysis suggests that, to boost the installed pv capacity, a long-term planning of the Mexican pv industry should be carried out. The starting point of such a plan should consists of the following five necessary conditions: a) tax credit for investment or production; b) feed in tariff & feed in premium; c) development of intellectual, technical and professional capital; d) the promotion of research and development of pv technology, and e) to include installed pv capacity in smart grids. The vanadium(V) oxide xerogels are synthesized by chemical bath deposition using aqueous solutions of NH4VO3 and diethyl sulfate. XRD and IR have been used for the characterization of the composition of the prepared precipitates. The concentration, temperature, and precipitation speed influence were analyzed. A large number of experiments have been made with the powders obtained at different ammonium metavanadate concentrations solutions, with the same volume of diethyl sulfate, at two working temperatures, 80 and 90 °C. The obtained results showed that at higher concentrations of ammonium metavanadate, as well as at higher temperatures, faster precipitation occurs. According to XRD and IR results synthesized precipitates are pure V2O5 xerogels, but at higher concentrations of the solutions, the second phase is obtained. Also, the influence of ethyl alcohol on the composition and time of precipitation of the synthesized precipitates was investigated in the metavanadate system with different concentrations of ammonium metavanadate and diethyl sulfate. It was found that the presence of alcohol in the chemical bath does not affect the composition of the xerogel at higher concentrations, but it influences the speed of the precipitation. The results of precipitates prepared at lower concentrations with ethanol showed the presence of a second phase in the composition, which cannot be seen in the composition of the sample prepared without ethanol at the same concentration of ammonium metavanadate. Their impact on economic systems is complex, and the precise relationship between such events and economic conditions is not obvious. The question of whether donors should be able to set conditions on who can receive their tissue has been discussed by bioethicists, but so far there has been little consideration of whether the answer to this question should be different depending on the type of tissue under discussion. In this article, we compare the donation of organs with the donation of reproductive material such as sperm, eggs, and embryos, exploring possible arguments for allowing donors to set conditions in one case but not the other. After considering arguments from procreative liberty, special parental obligations, and donors meeting their genetic offspring, we find that there is no ethically defensible reason to have different policies between these two cases. As a consequence, we conclude that jurisdictions operating with this inconsistency should consider moving their policies into better alignment.
