Based on the geological conditions of the anchorage for a suspension bridge, it is proposed to calculate the value with theoretical methods. The Hoek-Brown solution, Bell solution and the modified Hoek-Brown solution are respectively used for comparative analysis based on the side loading effect of overlying rock and soil within the buried depth of the foundation base and the confining pressure effect of surrounding rock mass in the passive area, so as to obtain the theoretical solution of the bearing capacity of the bearing stratum of the project. In order to evaluate the difference between the above-mentioned standard solutions and the theoretical solutions and the measured values, a total of 6 groups of bearing capacity measurement tests in the bearing stratum of deep rock mass were carried out based on the East and West anchorage sites of the suspension bridge. The test results show that the characteristic value of the bearing capacity of the moderately weathered mudstone in the West anchorage and the characteristic value of the bearing capacity of the moderately weathered argillaceous sandstone in the East anchorage of the bridge are 2131 kPa and 2461 kPa respectively, which are significantly higher than the recommended value calculated according to the shallow foundation method in the current specification, and are closer to the modified Hoek-Brown theoretical solution, which provides a reference for the design and value selection for the bearing capacity of the bearing stratum of similar projects. Saline soil is a special soil composed of four phases. This particularity leads to the deviation of the bearing capacity of saline soil foundation in engineering, especially under the action of inclined load. Taking the bearing capacity characteristics of typical saline soil foundation in Qaidam Basin as the research object, the bearing capacity characteristics of saline soil foundation under inclined load were studied by means of field load test and numerical simulation calculation. The results show that under the inclined load, the difference between the characteristic value of bearing capacity of salted soil foundation determined by numerical simulation and the characteristic value determined by field test is 2. 37%, and the results of numerical simulation and field test are basically consistent. When establishing the numerical simulation model, it is necessary to consider the nonlinear distribution of additional stress in the soil layer caused by the crushing and dissolution of the crystalline salt wedge in the saline soil foundation. Inserting a prestressed high-intensity concrete pipe pile into a cement–soil mixing pile can form a new composite pile named the composite foundation with stiffened deep cement mixing (SDCM) pile. The Huanghuai alluvial stratum in China is selected to carry out the in situ test for the SDCM pile, and the bearing capacity of the SDCM pile is tested by the slow-speed maintenance load method. The results show that for an SDCM pile with dense silt and fine sand as the bearing layer, the characteristic value of bearing capacity can reach 2,300 kN, which means an SDCM pile with a length of 8.0 m meets the load requirement of a general high-rise building. Further analysis shows that the SDCM pile saves more than 40% of the cost compared with the traditional CFG pile and has better quality control advantages at the same time. This research can provide basic data and design references for similar site foundation projects.
