Одним из решающих факторов получения высоких урожаев сахарной свёклы является эффективная система защиты культуры от сорной растительности. Своевременное и качественное применение широкого набора послевсходовых гербицидов различного спектра действия позволяет успешно решать проблему защиты сахарной свёклы от сорняков в период вегетации. Главным условием достижения высокого эффекта защитных мероприятий является правильный выбор гербицидов, учитывающий структуру и степень засорённости каждого свёкловичного поля.An effective system of the crop protection from weeds is one of the deciding factors to obtain high sugar beet yields. Well-timed and qualitative application of a wide range of different spectrum post-emergence herbicides makes it possible to solve successfully a problem of sugar beet protection from weeds during vegetation period. Correct choice of herbicides taking into account structure and level of every beet field weed infestation is the main condition to achieve high effect of protection measure.

RESUMO O Parque Estadual do Juquery (PEJ) é o mais importante remanescente de Cerrado na região metropolitana de São Paulo. Atualmente, o PEJ sofre grande pressão devido às atividades antrópicas, como consequência do crescimento imobiliário dos entornos. O objetivo do presente estudo é contribuir com o conhecimento de Convolvulaceae para o PEJ. Foram utilizados materiais de herbário enriquecidos com novas coletas. As viagens a campo foram realizadas de agosto de 2016 a julho de 2017. Como resultado, foram reconhecidas 13 espécies distribuídas em quatro gêneros: Convolvulus L. (uma espécie), Distimake Raf. (três), Evolvulus L. (uma) e Ipomoea L. (oito). Nota-se que duas dessas espécies são ruderais, indicando que o Parque pode estar sofrendo influência das atividades humanas. Apresenta-se chave de identificação das espécies ocorrentes no PEJ, seguida de descrições para gêneros e espécies, fotos, e comentários referentes à taxonomia e à distribuição de cada espécie. ABSTRACT The Juquery State Park (PEJ) is the most important Cerrado remnant in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. It is currently under great pressure caused by the human activities arising from the real estate growth in its surroundings. The present study aims to contribute to the knowledge of Convolvulaceae from PEJ. We analyzed herbarium material and included new collections. Field expeditions were carried out from August 2016 to July 2017. As a result, we recognized 13 species distributed in four genera: Convolvulus L. (one specie), Distimake Raf. (three), Evolvulus L. (one), and Ipomoea L. (eight). It should be noted that two of these species are ruderal, indicating that the Park can be under influence of human activities. An identification key for species is presented, along with descriptions for genera and species, photos, comments on the taxonomy and distribution of each species.

RESUMO Jacquemontia é o quarto maior gênero em riqueza específica de Convolvulaceae, com cerca de 130 espécies, concentradas na América tropical. Para o Brasil são reconhecidas 67 espécies. O levantamento de Jacquemontia para os Estados de Goiás e Tocantins revelou a ocorrência de 17 espécies, entre as quais 15 ocorrem em Goiás e sete no Tocantins. São apresentados chave de identificação, dados de distribuição geográfica, habitat e ilustrações dos táxons de Jacquemontia ocorrentes nestes Estados. ABSTRACT Jacquemontia is the fourth largest genus of Convolvulaceae in relation to species richness. This genus includes approximately 130 species, mostly concentrated in tropical America, of which 67 occur in Brazil. The floristic survey of Jacquemontia for the Brazilian States of Goiás and Tocantins revealed the occurrence of 17 species, of which 15 occur in Goiás and seven in Tocantins. We provide an identification key, data on geographical distribution, habitat, and images for all species of Jacquemontia occurring in the area.

Porém, há vários estudos sobre a eficácia da parede e cobertura verde na criação de ambientes internos confortáveis, mas no Brasil há poucos estudos sobre a parede verde e sua contribuição no conforto térmico. Como elemento de fachada e cobertura, a vegetação pode minimizar o ganho de calor, proporcionando melhor condição no conforto térmico das edificações. A adoção desse elemento, como segunda pele em fachada e na cobertura deve estar presente desde o início do programa para a elaboração do projeto arquitetônico. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa tem como objetivo estudar o efeito de parede verde no desempenho térmico da edificação. Mensurou-se a influência da trepadeira nas superfícies externas da edificação, tanto no sentido vertical (parede) e no sentido horizontal (cobertura) e a interferência no microclima da área interna do objeto de estudo. Foi realizado o levantamento de algumas espécies trepadeiras comumente utilizadas na cidade de Campinas, SP, a análise o comportamento morfológico da planta e sua contribuição para atenuar o ganho de calor no interior da edificação, por meio dos seguintes indicadores: conforto térmico propiciado, orientação de fachada mais indicada, interferência na ventilação natural, manutenção e conservação da vegetação na edificação. A partir desses dados, propõe-se um índice de eficiência da vegetação, para a utilização da trepadeira em toda envoltória da edificação. O método adotado foi um estudo experimental com a comparação do desempenho térmico em prototipos que se diferenciem apenas pela presença de trepadeira na fachada (parede) e/ou cobertura (telhado). Para avaliar a influência da trepadeira na edificação, foram mensurados seus efeitos na temperatura do ar, umidade relativa, velocidade do vento, temperatura superficial da parede interna e externa e na cobertura. Os dados obtidos nos protótipos com e sem vegetação foram comparados e analisados em função das temperaturas superficiais internas e externas e do fluxo de calor apresentando diferenças significativas entre os protótipos. A pesquisa forneceu indicações sobre a eficiência da trepadeira, como segunda pele, na redução do ganho de calor. Mostrou também que a trepadeira na envoltória não impede a passagem do ar, apenas diminui sua velocidade. A pesquisa contribuiu para o conhecimento da parede verde e seu efeito no conforto térmico de uma edificação. Produziu um índice de eficiência da trepadeira como segunda pele e indicou o uso da mesma em toda a envoltória do edifício ou apenas nas diferentes orientações de fachada e cobertura Abstract: The vegetation as strategy bioclimatic is known by professionals from both academy as construction. However, there are many studies on the effectiveness of the wall and green roof in creating comfortable environments, but in Brazil there are few studies on the green wall and its contribution to thermal comfort. As a front element and cover, the vegetation can minimize heat gain, providing a better condition in the thermal comfort of buildings. The adoption of this element as a second skin façade and the roof must be present form the beginning of the program for the development of architectural design. The survey measured the influence of climbing on the external surfaces of the building, in the vertical direction (wall) and horizontally (cover) and interference in the internal microclimate of the area of the study object. This work the lifting of some creepers commonly used in the city of Campinas, SP, and analyzing the morphological behavior of the plant and its contribution to mitigate heat gain inside the building, through the following indicators: propitiated thermal comfort, guidance more façade indicated, interference with natural ventilation, maintenance and conservation of vegetation in the building. From these data, we propose and indicator of vegetation efficiency ¿ green wall for the use of the vine throughout the building envelope. The research is an experimental study comparing the thermal performance in prototypes that differ only by the presence of climbing on the façade (wall) and floor (roof). To evaluate the influence of climbing in the building, they were measured their effects on air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, surface temperature of the inner and outer wall and the roof. The analysis of the data on the prototypes with and without vegetation were compared and analyzed with surface temperatures and heat flow with a significant value between the prototypes. The results os this research indicated the vine efficiency as a second skin, reducing heat gain, the relative humidity reached equilibrium in the constructed area, climbing the envelope does not hinder the passage of air, only slows the air. The research contributed to the knowledge of the green wall and its effect on the thermal comfort of a building. Texas Southern High Plains cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) producers lose yield to weeds each year. Crop losses caused by weeds are a direct result of competition with weeds for light, water, and mineral nutrients, as well as harvest problems and lowering of crop quality because of contamination of crop seed by weed seed (Janick et al. 1981). The presence of problem weed species result in reduced cotton lint yields (Bridges and Chandler 1984). Across the Cotton Belt, weeds still cause yield reductions that total $188 million annually or 5.2% of the total crop value in 1985 (Chandler and Cooke 1992). Weed management systems currently used in cotton can cost from $55 to $165 per hectare for a total cost of approximately $410 million annually in the United States (Chandler and Cooke 1992). Annual weed species, which complete their life cycle in one growing season, are controlled by preplant incorporated and preemergence herbicide treatments. Perennial weeds live for three or more years and propagate either by seeds or by roots, rhizomes, stolons, tubers, corms, and bulbs. Preplant and preemergence herbicides provide little control of perennial weed species. Perennial weeds are among the most difficult to control simply because of their extensive underground reproductive system. Some perennials also produce viable seed in the soil, which allow for new populations in future years. The high weed-seed populations of agricultural soils make weed control a continual and integral part of crop culture (Janick et al. 1981).

Field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis L.) is a noxious perennial weed of many fallow and cropland fields all over the world. Present control methods are not satisfactory for field bindweed. Metsulfuron, 2[[[[(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl) amino] carbonyl] amino] sulfonyl] benzoic acid, is a new herbicide that has been shown to have activity on bindweed especially when tank mixed with other herbicides. This study was conducted to investigate the field performance and some physiological effects of metsulfuron on field bindweed. Neither metsulfuron alone nor metsulfuron combinations gave persistent control of field bindweed. Metsulfuron usually increased the activity of other bindweed herbicides. Herbicide application to field bindweed in the full bloom growth stage did not control the weed as well as the same treatments in the prebloom growth stages and treating regrowth the fall after tilling bindweed in full blossom. Application of metsulfuron at full bloom decreased seed weight, seed size seed viability and seedling vigor of field bindweed but did not alter seed set. Metsulfuron at 23 g/ha and above caused unacceptable injury to barley (Hordeum vulgaris L.) and oats (Avena sativa L.). Higher rates of metsulfuron resulted in greater phytotoxicity. Metsulfuron stopped photosynthesis of field bindweed within two weeks regardless of herbicide dosage used. Field bindweed seedlings were observed growing in the field under light intensities of 28 to 62 ��moles m-2 s-1 which was below the light compensation point obtained for greenhouse grown bindweed plants (about 65 ��moles m-2 s-1). Higher quantities of 14C labelled metsulfuron per mg plant dry weight were recovered in the above treated leaf sections than in any other parts of bindweed plants. Metsulfuron applied as a foliage spray two days prior to administering 14C metsulfuron significantly increased absorption to the radiolabelled herbicide in field bindweed plants.
