Think-pair-share is a collaborative learning strategy where students think individually about a topic, pair up to discuss their thoughts, and then share their ideas with the larger group. This model encourages active participation, critical thinking, and effective communication. One effective medium is audiovisual media, which combines both visual and auditory elements to create a more engaging learning experience. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of think-pair-share (TPS) learning model assisted by audiovidual media on speaking skills. To attain the research purposes, the study is designed in experimental study with using one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is class The sample in this research was class X E.2 students, totaling 35 people. The instruments of this research were speaking skills tests. To analyze this data, the researchers utilized SPSS software. To ascertain the significant impact of the learning model assisted by audiovisual media, the researchers employed the t-test analysis. Based on the data analysis, the mean score of students’ indonesian speaking skills assissted by audiovisual in pretest is 68.97 and in posttest is 84.16. The TPS learning model has demonstrated remarkable effectiveness in enhancing students' speaking skills and overall language proficiency. The stages create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that fosters individual cognitive development and promotes active communication. By encouraging students to first reflect on their ideas, then discuss them with a peer, and finally articulate them in front of the larger group, TPS not only builds confidence in verbal expression but also reinforces essential language competencies such as fluency, active listening, and critical thinking.

This study identifies the issues of insufficient effective teaching materials and minimal utilization of technology in education. Teaching models that do not involve student participation and the suboptimal use of educational media can hinder conceptual understanding and result in low cognitive learning outcomes and scientific reasoning skills among students. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Guided Inquiry model integrated with audiovisual media to enhance conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning in teaching static fluids. The research employs a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving tenth-grade students from a senior high school in Palu during the 2023/2024 academic year. A cluster random sampling technique was used to select participants. Data collection was carried out using pretests and posttests to measure the improvement in both conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning. The results show an average normalized gain score of 0.59 for conceptual understanding, categorized as moderate, and 0.70 for scientific reasoning, categorized as high. Furthermore, a strong, significant correlation (r = 0.61) was found between conceptual understanding and scientific reasoning, indicating that the use of audiovisual media in guided inquiry enhances not only knowledge acquisition but also critical thinking skills. Therefore, this learning model is recommended for use in science education in schools to optimize students' cognitive and scientific reasoning skills. The findings of this research carry significant implications for the advancement of educational practices, particularly in the field of science learning. By highlighting key areas that require attention, the study provides insights that can inform curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies. This, in turn, can enhance student engagement and understanding, ultimately leading to more effective and meaningful learning experiences in science education.

The innovation processes of information technologies in higher education didactics have not been synchronized processes, technological transformations do not go in parallel with pedagogical adaptations, however, the violent irruption of the COVI19 pandemic made this distance evident; the objective of the research is to identify the value of the teaching presence with audiovisual media in the virtual auditorium identifying the relationships of motivation and confidence of students in order to rethink an optimal virtual scenario. The study analyzes the levels of confidence and motivations generated by the visual perception of the teacher, the participation of 127 students of communication sciences; the temporal perspective is descriptive transectional, with a quantitative approach. Among the relevant findings, a high level of indifference of the students is perceived, in turn, the teacher's response has a pessimistic ingredient, the proportionality of his presence is lower and the tendency is limited, so a redefinition of the virtual scenario is proposed. This longitudinal mixed methods study followed 16 U.S.-affiliated learners of French in Paris. After merging monthly social network and weekly smartphone usage reports, K-means clusters analysis revealed significant differences between (1) learners displaying attachment to versus detachment from their friends and family at home, and (2) smartphone usage profiles – spectators versus communicators and explorers. Triangulation with pre-/during-/post-study abroad in-depth interviews allowed identification of what was most instrumental for participants' interactions in the target language and intercultural gains: geolocation applications on their phones and living with host families. The electronic umbilical cord hypothesized to exist for those displaying attachment was in fact not a detrimental force – quite the opposite. Instead, the way participants had (detrimentally) taken their home with them to Paris was by being visited by friends and family, by often interacting with U.S. students on site, and by frequently consuming English-speaking audiovisual content on their phones. DRUMMERS (Musicians) ,DRUM music ,SOCIAL media ,POPULAR music - Abstract
YouTube is one of the most important music media in the world today. Musical practice is reflected there in a variety of forms, from sound recordings to music videos to tutorials. The media environment that YouTube creates as a platform inscribes itself - to some degree - in the actions of those who use it. This is also the case with the YouTube drummer phenomenon, which this article examines in more detail in terms of the interplay between persona construction, music-making, media presentation, and transmedia content concatenation. The thesis is pursued that the practice of YouTube drummers creates a singular interference space of conventions, modes of action, and social roles, which in some places has novelty value with regard to music-related persona constructions and their implementation in platform-based audiovisual media, and which transcends media boundaries. The specificity of the persona construction essentially results from the mediating position of the drum-playing actors: they are not only performers who, like social media influencers, push into the light of publicity, but at the same time musical experts and instructors, quasi-curatorial music communicators who select, prepare, and present music of the past, and intermediaries of the corporeality of popular music. The analyses presented are based on exploratory investigations of the YouTube drummer field itself and a case study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Video advertisements often show actors and influence agents consuming and enjoying products in slow motion. By prolonging depictions of influence agents' consumption utility, slow motion cinematographic effects ostensibly enhance social proof and signal product qualities that are otherwise difficult to infer visually (e.g., pleasant tastes, smells, haptic sensations). In this research, seven studies, including an eye tracking study, a Facebook Ads field experiment, and lab and online experiments—all using real ads across diverse contexts—demonstrate that slow motion (vs. natural speed) can backfire and undercut product appeal by making the influence agent's behavior seem more intentional and extrinsically motivated. The authors rule out several alternative explanations by showing that the effect attenuates for individuals with lower intentionality bias, is mitigated under cognitive load, and reverses when ads use nonhuman influence agents. The authors conclude by highlighting the potential for cross-pollination between visual information processing and social cognition research, particularly in contexts such as persuasion and trust, and they discuss managerial implications for visual marketing, especially on digital and social platforms. To establish the degree of correlation between the gender of the students and their video game consumption habits, a survey of closed items was applied to a sample of 330 students from the General Santander Educational Institution in the municipality of Soacha, Cundinamarca. Five survey questions related to video game consumption habits were analyzed and five research hypotheses were proposed, which were contrasted using the chi-square statistic. Pearson's correlation coefficients were also calculated for the variables under study. The correlational analysis regarding the gender of the students indicated that there is a relationship between this and the consumption habits of video games. In addition, a significant correlation between the variables studied was largely evidenced. It was concluded that adolescent men spend more time playing video games than women.

ART materials , *MEDIA art , *NINETEEN sixties , *ARTISTS - Abstract
One aspect of Walter Benjamin's approach that can undoubtedly be described as visionary is the high value he accorded film among the arts. Today time-based, audiovisual media is viewed as an integral and extraordinarily important part of the art system, but when Benjamin's essay "The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technological Reproducibility" was enthusiastically rediscovered in the 1960s, this was by no means the case. Video artists of the first generation had to fight for recognition, and Benjamin's writings matched their goals. This essay gets to the basis of the connection between media art and the figure of Walter Benjamin, examining his art- and media-related reflections, subjecting them to a critical examination, and at the same time attempting to make them productive for our understanding of contemporary conditions. The interest of religions in communicating in the new virtual environments has led to the emergence in recent years of multimedia initiatives that seek to inform and bring their message to many people. Such is the case of 'The Pope Video', a project of the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer) born in 2016 and supported by Vatican Media, with the purpose of launching the Holy Father's monthly intentions on a global level, through the dissemination of video messages on the web and social networks. The aim of this research is to analyze this project of the Church in the audiovisual media and as a methodology we have carried out a quantitative and qualitative content analysis of the videos (n=75) published between 2016 and 2021, in order to understand its evolution in terms of the themes highlighted, the quality and use of images and sounds, the audiovisual production and its internal structure. These are digital videos with good audiovisual production and editing, as well as a professional treatment of image and sound. The Pope is the protagonist of these videos, in which he reflects on various topics of social and human interest. Francis' naturalness and his approachable language, together with the strategic use of audiovisuals to reach his followers in the present digital age, make 'The Pope Video' a good example of direct communication between a religious leader and the faithful. A paradigm of innovation by the Catholic Church in audiovisual communication. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Audiovisual co-creation has always had a pedagogical nature, which has been maintained in its adaptation to digital communication, although it is applied in different ways. This study analyses the pedagogical proposals in collaborative interactive non-fiction in the digital environment, and compares them with previous projects of participatory practices. As case studies we selected five interactive audiovisual projects that stand out for their educational intent and their preparation of teaching resources, and analyzed their pedagogical proposals. First, we looked at pedagogy in pre-digital or analogical collaborative creation, which was used to develop an original analytical table. We used this table to study the five collaborative projects through three identified categories. The results show that these categories continue in initiatives today, although the findings show a shift in the pedagogy about audiovisuals, particularly concerning the technical aspects, as well as a weakening of the connection between learning and participation in the collective production. Finally, we can highlight that combining educational practices with collaborative production on the Internet is important to increase citizen participation and give a social perspective to this audiovisual modality. Arousal, editing style, and eye movements have been implicated in time perception when watching videos. However, little multimodal research has explored how manipulating both the auditory and visual properties of videos affects temporal processing. This study investigated how editing density and music-induced arousal affect viewers' time perception. Thirty-nine participants watched six videos varying in editing density and music while their eye movements were recorded. They estimated the videos' duration and reported their subjective experience of time passage and emotional involvement. Fast-paced editing was associated with the feeling of time passing faster, a relationship mediated by fixation durations. Higharousal background music was also associated with the feeling of time passing faster. The consequences of this study in terms of a possible auditory driving effect are explored. Bhineka Tunggal Ika reflects national identity, which contains cultural diversity values in Indonesia. Issues of intolerance and globalization often found in Indonesia are the main reasons for instilling children’s character values about diversity through children’s trilingual songs. This study aims to create and develop children’s songs in three languages (trilingual), namely Indonesian, English, and Javanese, as an effort to strengthen children’s character about tolerance and diversity. This research is a type of research and development (RD) using the ASSURE model by combining qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed method). Data collection was carried out using the method of observation, interviews, and written input on the assessment sheet. Meanwhile, quantitative data is collected through questionnaires and assessment sheets in percentage values from experts and users. The results of the study show that the song “Harmony in Diversity” can be used as an educational medium in educating children to have a global outlook but still love the national language and preserve regional languages. This is because they have studied, expressed, and appreciated songs with trilingual meanings and lyrics. The children’s song “Harmoni dalam Keberagaman” is declared feasible and applicable for learning at the elementary school level. This is evidenced by the data validation results, which show that all indicators, namely song components, language, appearance, audiovisual media engineering, and implementation, get very feasible criteria, with an average score of 89.59%. The aspect that gets the highest score is the display aspect, with a score of 90.48%, and the aspect with the lowest percentage is the visual media design component and the song component, with a score of 87.5%..

Based on the results of observations made at SDN 1 Hadiluwih Kec. Ngadirojo, Kab. Pacitan. The learning activities carried out are less effective, this is due to the learning activities caused by the learning method which is still monotonous with lectures without using the media as a supporting tool. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) and this research is in collaboration with tutor teachers as well as homeroom teachers for class III SDN 1 Hadiluwih. The subjects in this study were class III students at SDN 1 Hadilwuih Kec. Ngadirojo, Kab. Pacitan. Data collection techniques consisted of observation and posttest questions and there were four stages in the research conducted, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The above problems lead to the need for creative and innovative learning media to improve student learning outcomes. Learning media that is easy and can be created by educators is audiovisual media which is able to have a big influence on learning activities.

Bhineka Tunggal Ika reflects national identity, which contains cultural diversity values in Indonesia. Issues of intolerance and globalization often found in Indonesia are the main reasons for instilling children's character values about diversity through children's trilingual songs. This study aims to create and develop children's songs in three languages (trilingual), namely Indonesian, English, and Javanese, as an effort to strengthen children's character about tolerance and diversity. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) using the ASSURE model by combining qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed method). Data collection was carried out using the method of observation, interviews, and written input on the assessment sheet. Meanwhile, quantitative data is collected through questionnaires and assessment sheets in percentage values from experts and users. The results of the study show that the song "Harmony in Diversity" can be used as an educational medium in educating children to have a global outlook but still love the national language and preserve regional languages. This is because they have studied, expressed, and appreciated songs with trilingual meanings and lyrics. The children's song "Harmoni dalam Keberagaman" is declared feasible and applicable for learning at the elementary school level.
