Diese Masterarbeit ist eine von drei, welche sich mit einer erneuten Untersuchung des Simple-Shear Versuches befasst. Der Simple-Shear Versuch wurde bereits in den 1950er Jahren entwickelt und ermöglicht es für gesättigte und ungesättigte Bodenproben, Spannungs- und Dehnungsverhalten abzubilden als auch Bodenparameter zu bestimmen, zufolge eines ebenen Spannungszustandes. Üblicherweise werden Simple-Shear Versuche als Elementversuche, welche von konstanten Spannungen und Dehnungen über den gesamten Probenkörper ausgehen, ausgewertet. Der Simple-Shear Test ist jedoch vom Verhalten her kein Elementversuch, da es zu Inhomogenitäten im Verzerrungsfeld kommt. Im Zuge dieser Arbeit wird der Simple-Shear Versuchs mithilfe von Röntgentomographie in Zusammenarbeit mit der Université Grenoble Alpes untersucht. Es wurden Versuchsreihen für Proben mit vergleichbarer Porenzahl und konstanter vertikaler Belastung durchgeführt. Es erfolgt eine globale Auswertung der Tests und eine anschließende Untersuchung der erzeugten Tomogramme mit „Digital Image Correlation (DIC)“ um das Verzerrungsfeld im Probeninneren erfassen zu können. Ziel ist es, bestimmen zu können, inwiefern die aus der idealisierten Auswertung ermittelten Parameter als Elementversuch mit den tatsächlichen Bodenkennwerten übereinstimmt, da des tendenziell zu einer Unterschätzung dieser kommt. Der bestehende Simple-Shear Apparat wurde verbessert und mit einer Möglichkeit zur Messung der Horizontalkraft erweitert. Die Versuchsreihe wird mit Hostun Sand (HN 31), welcher mit einer Porenzahl von $e=0.66$, als dichte Probe eingebaut wurde. Es wurden drei Simple-Shear Test mit unterschiedlicher vertikaler Belastung durchgeführt, ausgewertet und miteinander verglichen. Die Auswertung der Versuche ergibt, dass der Versuch bereits gute Ergebnisse liefert, jedoch noch Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten bestehen. Das Hauptmanko stellt das „Teil 6“, welches die vertikale Last aufbringt, aufgrund der zu geringen Steifigkeit dar. The simple shear test was already invented in the 1950’s and was made to determine for saturated and unsaturated soils, stress-strain responses, as well as soils properties under plane strain conditions. Customarily, simple shear tests are evaluated as element tests, that means that it is assumed, that stresses and strains are distributed constantly along the sample. However, it is shown that simple shear tests does not behave as an element tests, there are inhomogeneities in the strain field. In the following report simple shear tests are analyzed by X-ray tomography in collaboration with the Université Grenoble Alpes. Series of experimental tests for specimen with comparable void ratios and constant vertical load have been made. The report shows a global analysis of the experiments and an investigation of the tomograms via “Digital Image Correlation (DIC)” to capture the stain field inside the sample. The aim is to determine in what extent the idealized evaluation of the parameters as an element test match with the actual soil properties. The evaluation of the soil parameters as an element test leads to an underestimation of them. Improvements of the existing simple shear apparatus and a possibility for a horizontal load measurement were applied to the apparatus. For the test series Hostun sand (HN 31) with a void ratio of e=0.66, which equates a dense sample, is used. Three simple shear tests with different vertical load were carried out, evaluated and compared to each other. The simple shear tests already provide good results, however there are some improvement opportunities. The main issue is “Part 6”, which applies the vertical load, due to the fact, that the stiffness of this part is too low. Rapporten är framtagen med ekonomiskt bidrag från Trafikverkets Skyltfond. Projektet utvärderar en positioneringsteknik, RTK GNSS (Real Time Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System), som är helt nyligen blev tillgänglig för kostnadskänsliga lösningar. Utvärderingen avser svara på om tekniken, under relevanta förhållanden, har tillräckligt noggrannhet för att kunna användas för att förbättra trafiksäkerheten för cyklister. Det scenario vi tänker oss är; att skapa möjligheten att i framtiden kunna undvika kollisioner mellan cyklist och bil, genom att bilen på ett mycket mer noggrant sätt får reda på vart cyklisterna befinner sig, genom att dessa aktivt annonserar sin position. Detta gör det möjligt för bilen att varna föraren (även cyklisten) om denna gör en manöver som riskerar en kollision. Projektet utförs som ett samarbete mellan SP Sveriges Tekniska Forskningsinstitut (SP) och Chalmers tekniska högskola (CTH). Förutom stödet från Skyltfonden, har stöd sökts och beviljats från Vinnova/FFI vilket gav möjligheten att utvärdera positioneringssystemet mot state-of-the-art på testbanan AstaZero. Utvärderingen visar att man med RTK-positioneringsteknik med hög noggrannhet och på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt kan positionera objekt i rörelse. Målet att uppnå en positioneringsnoggrannhet på ± 0,5m, vilket motsvarar en halvbildörr, är nåbart med tekniken. Ett förslag på batteridrivet prototypsystem för noggrann positionering som går att montera på en cykel finns beskrivet i rapporten, som möjliggör att cyklister kan vara aktörer i ett framtida intelligent transportsystem (ITS). Två problem har även identifierats som bör lösas innan tekniken går att använda fullt ut för cyklister, nämligen tiden det tar i uppstartsfasen för att uppnå önskad noggrannhet, samt robusthet mot bortfall av satellitobs

Ma communication parlera de fascination et de soumission dans un contexte qui n’est pas immédiatement religieux mais qui en emprunte certains codes (la création d’une communauté et l’usage de rite, e.a.) et où circulent des pouvoirs surnaturels (Bierschenk, 2014), où «la chose» est présente (Tonda, 2005). Le phénomène religieux s’est invité dans mon analyse socio-politique de l’élite en Afrique de l'ouest à partir du moment où il m’a semblé évident qu’une partie du pouvoir au sein du cercle d’initiés se distillait de manière mystique et invisible. Cette «évidence» s’est peu à peu construite grâce à l’observation que j’effectue à la caméra au sein de l’association des Lions Club. Lorsqu’au cours de réunions parfois même dans la sphère familiale, la pratique des règles (hymne, réunion, bureaucratie cérémoniale) et l’usage fréquent des codes du pouvoir de l’Etat (uniforme médaille, protocole digne des ambassadeurs) suscitaient à la fois crainte et fascination. Les uniformes et les réunions médiatisées génèrent l’idée d’une puissance secrète et invisible tout en étant les parties visibles des actes de l'association. C’est à partir de ces matériaux empiriques que je discuterai du pouvoir invisible et magique des membres du Lions Club. Les corps, les gestes, les sons très ritualisés qui constituent le décorum sont en somme les traces visibles de la crainte ou de la fascination, dans cette perspective filmer permet une récolte de données du «sensible». Filmer permet d’une part de comprendre mais aussi de ressentir comment la «magie opère», puisque comme Peter Geschiere me l’a un jour signalé «le pouvoir sorcier n’est pas visible, donc pas filmable». Par contre en filmant la réception de gestes invisibles sur les corps, les visages l’on peut ressentir ce non-visible. Der Capillarblut-Transfusor des St. Petersburger Arztes Franz Gesellius stellt für die Wissensgeschichte der Bluttransfusion eine Sackgasse dar. Dieser innovative Apparat wird 1868 von seinem Erfinder hoffnungsvoll vorgestellt und wenig später für untauglich befunden. Anhand von zwei Quellen aus dem Jahr 1868 und 1873 vergleicht diese Arbeit die technischen Texte und Abbildungen und führt die Ergebnisse jeweils mit dem Diskurs der Bluttransfusion eng. Damit rekonstruiert sie die kuriose Geschichte eines Apparates, der nie funktioniert hat und dennoch eine ebenfalls dysfunktionale Praxis, die der Lammbluttransfusion, begründet. Der methodische Ansatz dieser Arbeit ist dabei nicht als Gegenentwurf zu einer "herkömmlichen" Wissensgeschichte zu verstehen. Vielmehr stellt sie sich dem in der actor–network theory und in der Diskursanalyse disputablen Problem der Unmöglichkeit des Sprechens über ein Nichtwissen. Am Leitfaden der Störungstheorie von Michel Serres werden diese theoretischen Überlegungen entwickelt und als eine Nichtwissensgeschichte erzählt., The Capillarblut-Transfusor by the St Petersburg physician Franz Gesellius constitutes a dead end for the history of knowledge in blood transfusion. In 1868, the inventor presents his imaginative apparatus that, shortly thereafter, is deemed unusable. Based on two sources from 1868 and 1873, this work compares technical narration and images, and merges the results with the discourse on blood transfusion. It thereby reconstructs the curious story of an apparatus that never worked, but motivated blood transfusion from lamb to human, another dysfunctional practice. The methodological approach does not implicate an alternative draft to history of knowledge as it is "usually" done. Instead, it addresses the arguable problem of actor–network theory and discourse analysis that speaking about nescience is impossible. Michel Serres' theory of disturbance is used as a framework to develop these theoretical considerations and to tell a story of nescience.

Práce uměleckovýzkumnými prostředky, na ploše několika vnitřně porvázaných projektů a explikací jejich východisek, ohledává ohlášené překonání racionalistických dualit personifikované v metafoře kyborga. Je ukázáno, jakým způsobem medializované digitální myšlení brání vnímání jiného, což představuje riziko pro touto metaforou inspirované feministické vize. V duchu glitch feminismu je navrženo případy algoritmického zkreslení, které ukazují glitche normativní hegemonie zprostředkované výsledky učících se algoritmů, vnímat pozitivně jako příležitost k jejich identifikování a odstranění. Dále je v práci představena kategorie nelidského jiného vyráběná prostřednictvím dehumanizujícího tabuizovaného násilí. A ve srovnání povahy pornografického a erotického a na pozadí konceptu stávání-se, je pak naznačena cesta k nabytí vlastní autonomie jiného. Vedle vytváření alternativ rozrušujících dominantní hegemonie, je navrženo zaměřit více pozornosti na subtraktivní strategie, povstávání nelidského a zároveň suspendování transcendentálního subjektu v nás. Tím je řešena problematika přechovávání tohoto subjektu jinak vždy interpretujícího jiné., The work conducted through artistic-research methods, spanning across several interconnected projects and their explications, examines the proclaimed overcoming of rationalistic dualities personified in the in the cyborg metaphor. It showcases how mediated digital thinking obstructs the perception of the other, posing a risk to feminist visions inspired by this metaphor. In the spirit of glitch feminism, instances of algorithmic biases are proposed, revealing glitches within normative hegemony mediated by the outcomes of learning algorithms, to be positively perceived as opportunities for their identification and removal. Furthermore, it introduces the category of the non-human other, fabricated through dehumanizing and tabooed violence. In comparison to the nature of the pornographic and the erotic, and in the context of the concept of becoming, a path towards acquiring autonomy of the other is hinted. Alongside the creation of alternatives that disrupt dominant hegemony, a shift in focus towards subtractive strategies is suggested, acknowledging the uprising of the non-human within us, while suspending the transcendental subject in the same move. This addresses the issue of preserving the subject, which interprets the other.
