Among the student-centered approaches, there is one that stands out: student-centered learning (SCL). This model emphasizes students' ability to learn and make decisions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method; examining how the student-centered learning paradigm is applied in the field of guidance and counseling is the main objective of this research. The informants in this study were field study students in the Islamic Education Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta during the period October–November 2023. The students involved were all registered in the guidance and counseling course. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the student-centered learning model in guidance and counseling classes B and C in the odd semester of 2023 proved effective in increasing student activeness. The increase in student activity can be seen in the increase in critical thinking skills, communication skills, and skills in solving problems. In addition, the lecturer acts as a facilitator of learning practices and is responsible for overseeing the entire learning process. Abstrak Diantara pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa, ada satu yang menonjol: Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Siswa (SCL). Model ini menekankan pada kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan pengambilan keputusan terkait pertumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, mengkaji bagaimana paradigma pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa diterapkan dalam bidang bimbingan dan konseling menjadi tujuan utama penelitian ini. Informan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa studi lapangan di Program Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta selama periode Oktober–NNovember 2023. Mahasiswa yang terlibat semuanya terdaftar pada mata kuliah Bimbingan dan Konseling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model Student-Centered Learning pada kelas Bimbingan dan Konseling B dan C pada semester ganjil tahun 2023 terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa. Peningkatan aktivitas mahasiswa dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan berkomunikasi, dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah. Disamping itu, dosen berperan sebagai fasilitator praktik pembelajaran yang bertanggung jawab mengawasi seluruh rangkaian pembelajaran.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of communication in learning during training with the BL model. The research employs quantitative survey methods by distributing a questionnaire consisting of 18 attitude statements in Likert scale format (Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree, Strongly Agree) to be selected by respondents and divided into 3 indicators: Trainer Communication Skills, Participant Engagement, and Learning Interaction. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of communication in BL model learning is considered very high by training participants. Trainer communication skills are rated highly, indicating effective skills in delivering content. Participant engagement is also rated highly, showing active participation in learning. Learning interaction is rated highly, creating a conducive learning environment. These findings are relevant for developing future training programs and formulating education policies that consider technology's role in enhancing accessibility and education quality. The flipped classroom model is a type of blended learning. This model can review material provided by the teacher in Powerpoint form, so that students are more independent in studying the material at home. The aim of this research is to increase student activity in the learning process, students' ability to understand concepts in Dayak language learning. This type of research is qualitative research where this research was carried out to describe the problems in implementing the flipped classroom model in achieving the objectives. The data taken came from observations of teaching materials, observations of student behavior, as well as interviews with teachers or students with a total of 30 students and 1 teacher. This research aims to address issues occurring in the teaching process in class II of SD N Wirogunan 03 Kartasura, where mathematics instruction still follows a conventional model involving only teacher-led delivery without any real activities to aid students' understanding of the material. The proposed solution is to use puzzle-based learning media to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement in the learning process. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, comprising two cycles with a pre-cycle followed by planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Evaluation of learning outcomes and student engagement is conducted using assessment sheets and observations. The research findings indicate that the use of puzzle-based learning media improves learning outcomes and student engagement. The percentage of learning outcomes in the pretest was 27.2%, increased to 54.6% in cycle I, and reached 81.9% in cycle II. Furthermore, student engagement in the pretest was 36.3%, increased to 63.7% in cycle I, and reached 100% in cycle II. From these research findings, it can be concluded that the use of puzzle-based media effectively enhances learning outcomes and student engagement, creating active and engaging learning experiences.

Studying chemistry is more than just gaining knowledge; it is also about exploring new ideas and finding new ways to understand what we already know. However, most students participate less when studying chemistry. They tend to memorize the concept and think less critically to understand and obtain solutions to a problem. Reaction rate is material closely related to practicum, which requires students to think more critically and participate actively in obtaining information. This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry-based learning on students’ critical thinking skills and activeness in reaction rate material. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment. The research design used was a Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was class XI MIPA students. The sampling technique used was the cluster random sampling technique. Researchers used test instruments and observations as data collection techniques. The research results from the Mann-Whitney U test show that the significance value or Sig (2-tailed) is (0.001). If compared, the value will be smaller than alpha 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05); this shows that the hypothesis is accepted, and it can be concluded that there is a difference in critical thinking between the experimental group and the control group. The results of descriptive statistical tests on the observation sheet show that the average activity of experimental group students is higher than that of the control group in each indicator. Thus, the inquiry-based learning model influences students' critical thinking skills and activeness in reaction rate material.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education system has altered from face-to-face learning to online learning. The sudden pandemic made teachers underprepared either psychologically or pedagogically to teach online learning. Many teachers often faced psychological pressure while preparing for online teaching due to the lack of digital literacy. Teachers now have to overcome pressures for understanding digital literacy. Teachers have issues with: 1) the lack of digital literacy mastery and/or the utilization of digital learning platforms, and 2) the lack of teachers’ ability in creating meaningful learning through the use of digital technology and/or interactive multimedia. By providing the 33 teachers with support and training in digital literacy, those issues could be resolved. The assistance is focused on how to use digital learning platforms and produce android learning and interactive multimedia videos to support the learning process in the classroom. The findings showed that teachers are becoming more knowledgeable about digital literacy, particularly as it relates to the utilization of digital learning platforms and the creation of android learning videos and interactive multimedia learning videos to support the learning process in the classroom. Through the use of digital learning platforms in the classroom, teachers can provide meaningful learning experiences to students and students can actively engage in the learning process. In addition, digital literacy helps teachers increase students’ enthusiasm in the classroom, and students’ autonomous learning.

In the social internet of things, community structure exists objectively and affects the transmission of network messages. If the social context such as community is fully utilized, the efficiency of data forwarding will be effectively improved. A community-based routing algorithm (MSAR) is proposed by studying the multiple social relationships. First, we propose four measures of social relationships. They are social closeness degree, in-community activeness, cross-community activeness and community interaction. Then, the design of routing algorithm considers two stages. One is in-community forwarding and the other is cross-community forwarding. The measurement of node forwarding capability depends on closeness degree and in-community activeness in the in-community forwarding stage. In the cross-community stage, the measurement of node forwarding capability depends on closeness degree, cross-community activeness and community interaction. The relay node with higher cross-community forwarding utility will be selected. This prevents messages from being limited to the local community. Therefore, messages can always travel in the direction of the destination node's community. Finally, a lot of simulation experiments and analyses are carried out. The work carried out earlier allows us to assert that a digital twin of an organization can be created on the basis of a comprehensive agentbased mathematical model of a social system functioning in an active environment. Such a digital twin, consisting of a set of databases for recording initial data and calculated values of system parameters, as well as data collection and processing modules, allows you to automate the functions of analyzing the activities and the state of the organization to determine systemic problems, the causes of the results of activities, as well as the calculation of control actions and determining the effect of the control actions of the head. The purpose of this work is to determine the parameters of the control action that need to be recorded in the digital twin of the organization in order, using a simulation model, to calculate the effect of the impact, the dynamics of the social system in the socio-economic space. In neuromorphic computing, the coding method of spiking neurons serves as the foundation and is crucial for various aspects of network operation. Existing mainstream coding methods, such as rate coding and temporal coding, have different focuses, and each has its own advantages and limitations. This paper proposes a novel coding scheme called activeness coding that integrates the strengths of both rate and temporal coding methods. It encompasses precise timing information of the most recent neuronal spike as well as the historical firing rate information. The results of basic characteristic tests demonstrate that this encoding method accurately expresses input information and exhibits robustness. Furthermore, an unsupervised learning method based on activeness-coding triplet spike-timing dependent plasticity (STDP) is introduced, with the MNIST classification task used as an example to assess the performance of this encoding method in solving cognitive tasks. Test results show an improvement in accuracy of approximately 4.5%. Additionally, activeness coding also exhibits potential advantages in terms of resource conservation. Overall, activeness offers a promising approach for spiking neural network encoding with implications for various applications in the field of neural computation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan dan hubungan antara keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X Teknik Pemesinan 3 pada mata pelajaran Energi dan Perubahannya melalui model Project Based Learning di SMKN 1 Kertosono. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi antara peneliti, guru pamong, dan dosen pendamping lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan berupa 1) observasi 2) catatan lapangan, dan 3) dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini terbukti dengan meningkatnya persentase keaktifan dan hasil belajar pseserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 57,14% dan 74,29% kemudian pada siklus II sebesar 82,86% dan 88,57%. Hasil pada penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa keaktifan peserta didik memiliki hubungan yang sedang dengan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan bentuk hubungan antara kedua variabel ini adalah positif yang berarti semakin tinggi keaktifan peserta didik maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar peserta didik.

The problem of student learning activity can happen in the classroom community. Activeness is necessary for students to train them to be someone who wants to use all their abilities to understand science. Activity problems can occur due to lack of student interest in learning. It is parallel with students as human beings who have sinful natures. They tend to indulge their sense of laziness, and boredom and even rebel against everything that is not suitable for them. Then, the less active of students will also complicate learning in groups. So, student’s activeness needs to be pursued to achieve learning objectives. The selection of the proper learning method as a way of distributing material is one way of seeking student learning activities. Discussion as learning method can be an option that can be used to attract students' attention or interest because this method enchanted student’s involvement in learning. This paper will discuss how discussion as learning method can promote student activity with qualitative-descriptive research methods. After using this method, the research found that many students actively participated in learning. However, the shortcoming still found were that this method resulted in a class that was not conducive. This invites teachers not to forget the teacher's role in classroom control. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Masalah keaktifan belajar siswa adalah salah satu masalah yang terjadi di dalam komunitas kelas. Keaktifan merupakan hal penting bagi siswa untuk melatihnya menjadi seorang yang mau menggunakan semua kemampuannya untuk memahami ilmu pengetahuan. Masalah keaktifan dapat terjadi karena kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran, hal ini sejalan dengan siswa sebagai manusia yang bernatur dosa. Siswa masih bisa memilih untuk menuruti rasa malas, bosan bahkan memberontak akan segala sesuatu yang tidak sesuai bagi dirinya. Selanjutnya, ketidakaktifan siswa juga akan mempersulit pembelajaran secara berkelompok. Jadi, keaktifan perlu diupayakan guna tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat sebagai cara penyaluran materi menjadi salah satu cara mengupayakan keaktifan belajar siswa. Metode diskusi dapat menjadi pilihan yang dapat digunakan untuk menarik perhatian atau minat siswa karena guru melibatkan mereka di dalam pembelajaran. Tentu dalam paper ini akan dibahas bagaimana penggunaan metode diskusi dapat mengupayakan keaktifan siswa dengan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Setelah menggunakan metode ini, ditemukan beberapa keberhasilan yaitu banyak siswa yang ikut berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran pada sebuah kelas. Namun, pada kesempatan mengajar di kelas lainnya, kekurangan yang ditemukan yaitu metode ini menghasilkan kelas yang tidak kondusif. Hal ini mengajak guru untuk tidak melupakan peran guru dalam pengendalian kelas.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji teori-teori di bidang yang digelutinya. Teori yang akan diujikan adalah metode Teams Game Tournament (TGT) dalam pembelajaran matematika bilingual. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan berbicara bahasa Inggris pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra eksperimen dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 mahasiswa program studi teknik informatika. Data penelitian berupa data hasil pretest dan posttest. Untuk mengetahui dan mengetahui kondisi data yang diperoleh, peneliti melakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan software statistika paket untuk ilmu-ilmu sosial (SPSS). Analisis data dilakukan analisis deskriptif berupa uji normalitas dan uji t sampel berpasangan. Didapatkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan berbahasa Inggris siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pretes dan postes, terdapat peningkatan nilai hasil tes dari 59.23 menjadi 83.87. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar. Perbedaan persentase keaktifan siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris yang tercatat pada pertemuan kedua dan ketiga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 47,41% dan 65,56%. Abstract The research aims is testing theories in field they are engaged in. The theory that will be tested is Teams Game Tournament (TGT) method in bilingual mathematics learning. Research aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning TGT improving learning outcomes and activeness of English speaking on mathematics learning. Pre-experimental methodology was employed in this study with research subject as many as 30 students in informatics study program. Research data in the form of results data pretest and posttest. To find out the condition of the data obtained, the researchers performed calculations using the statistical software package for the social sciences (SPSS). Analysis of data performed descriptive analysis form of paired-sample t-test. Obtained that cooperative learning type TGT is effective in improve learning outcomes and students’ activeness of English speaking. Based on the result of pretest and posttest, there is an increase in the value of test results from 59.23 to 83.87. The cooperative learning model of TGT is able improving learning outcomes. The difference in percentage of students' activeness recorded at the second and third meetings shows a significant increase of 47.41% and 65.56%. The purpose is to examine a correlation of personality traits of young athletes with different levels of selfefficacy components (n=114). We assume that self-efficacy of young athletes depends on their personality traits. However, there are differences in the research participants with high and low levels of self-efficacy. Research methods: correlation and cluster analyses, valid psycho-diagnostic methods, coefficients for finding statistical differences. The research conducted in Ukraine under conditions of martial law allowed obtaining significant scientific results. Results. The study looks at self-efficacy as an important component of professional training for young athletes. It substantiates the structure of self-efficacy and reveals the essence of its components: "subject activity" (SAS) and "interpersonal communication" (ICS). The research identifies a statistically significant correlation (p<.05; p<.01) of self-efficacy with personality traits of young athletes. It confirms statistically significant differences in the young athletes of Group 1 and Group 2 by scale SAS (t = 29.445, p=.000); Group I and Group II by scale ICS (t = 5.453, p=.000). The study lists traits which are equally important for the formation of self-efficacy by two components, namely: a high level of the development of sociability (R = .279, p<0.01; R = .477, p<.01); even-temperedness (R = .262, p<.01; R = .195, p<.05) and openness (R = .215, p<.05; R = .195, p<.05) and a low level of neuroticism (R = -.393, p<.01; R = -.281, p<.01); depressiveness (R = -.287, p<.01; R = -.192, p<.05) and emotional lability (R = -.454, p<.01; R = -.284, p<.01). At the same time, masculinity is important for subject activity (SAS) (R = .319, p<.01), and extraversion is important for interpersonal communication (ICS) (r = .394, p<.01). Conclusions. The obtained results show one of the methods for operationalization of the problem-solving process in professional training for athletes. Understanding of the role of personality traits in increasing self-efficacy will help trainers develop the process of preparing young athletes for competitions successfully, taking into consideration the features of their selfawareness, form their mental toughness and constructive aggression in sports. The level of activity and learning outcomes of students in Basic Network Computer learning for class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Pleret has not been as expected. This study aims to determine the increase in the activity and learning outcomes of Computers and Basic Networks through problem-based learning models which include psychomotor aspects or skills, cognitive or knowledge, and affective or attitude aspects. Class action research will be carried out in two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X TKJ especially class X TKJ A for the 2019-2020 academic year which consisted of 37 students, consisting of 33 boys and 4 girls. Data collection techniques were carried out using written tests and observations, as well as analysis of quantitative and qualitative descriptive data. The results of this class action research showed that the learning outcomes of students in pre-cycle obtained a complete percentage of 40.5%, cycle I obtained a complete percentage of 43.24%, and in cycle II obtained a complete percentage of 81.08%. Increased activity and learning outcomes are indicated by an increase in the percentage of pre-cycle completeness to cycle I by 6.7% and from cycle I to cycle II an increase in the percentage of completeness by 87.5% Based on research results show that learning with the problem based learning model can increase activity and results learn computer network basic learners.

Narratives about clients' service experiences in healthcare organizations constitute a crucial way for clients to make sense of their illness, its treatment, and their role in the service process. This is important because the client's role has recently changed from that of a passive object of care into an active responsible agent. Utilizing Bamberg's narrative positioning analysis as a method, and 14 thematic interviews of healthcare clients with multiple health-related problems as data, we investigated the expectations of the client's role in their narratives about negative service experiences. All the narratives addressed the question of the clients' "activeness" in some way. We identified three narrative types. In the first, the clients actively sought help, but did not receive it; in the second, the clients positioned themselves as helpless and inactive, left without the care they needed; and in the third, the clients argued against having to fight for their care. In all these narrative types, the clients either demonstrated their own activeness or justified their lack of it, which—despite attempts to resist the ideal of an "active client"—ultimately just reinforced it. Attempts to improve service experiences of clients with considerable service needs require a heightened awareness of clients' moral struggles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this research is to improve the condition of the online class, especially the activeness of students during the synchronous and asynchronous learning process. This study is also to determine the increase in student learning outcomes on vektor material. Learning uses the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) model in online classes and blended learning assisted by WhatsApp. This study uses a classroom action research design which consists of two cycles. The research subjects were students of Class X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Jetis Ponorogo. Data on student activity includes discussion activities (asking or answering questions), presentations, and giving responses. This data was collected through observation sheets. Data about student learning outcomes are obtained through written tests or quizzes after the cycle takes place. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The results of the analysis showed an increase in activity and learning outcomes after learning using the GGE steps. GGE consists of (1) material distribution; (2) group distribution; (3) group discussion in the WA group; (4) presentation and group responses in the class WA group; and (5) evaluation. Class action taken in the form of reshuffling group members and face-to-face meetings. Student activity increased, in cycle I when online using WhatsApp, all student activities were recorded on WhatsApp chat only 54%. Group discussions in the WA group were less than optimal and presentations using photo sharing and voice notes were also less than optimal. While in the second cycle when blended learning, group discussions using WhatsApp group and face-to-face while face-to-face presentations, student activity became 88%. The learning outcomes of students whose scores are greater than the KKM increased from 24% in the first cycle to 72% in the second cycle, with the class average increasing from 48.48 to 81.76. The results of this study indicate that using a GGE based on WhatsApp-assisted blended learning can significantly increase student activity and learning outcomes.

This research is aimed to increase the activeness and critical thinking skills of students by applying the problem based learning model. The type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted at the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau. The research subjects were 1st semester students, who took the Introduction to Management course for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data in this study were obtained from observation sheets and test instruments. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis for aspects of activeness and critical thinking skills. The results showed that the average of students’ activeness in the first cycle reached 74.5% (fair category) and in the second cycle students' activeness reached 86% with good category. Then, students’ critical thinking in the first cycle reached 77% in the Fair category, and in the second cycle it gained 86% in the good category. Therefore, there is an increase in students’ activeness and critical thinking skills by applying the problem based learning model. Based on the research findings, the researcher would like to propose the following suggestions namely: 1) Making the students more motivated during online learning by using problem-based learning, 2) Appreciating the students’ ideas to make them more confident, 3) The research was only composed of two cycles, so that the next researchers can carry out more than two cycles to maximize student’s activeness and critical thinking. This study also still has limitations, namely, the questions used are only in the form of essay questions and have not used varied question instruments.

Though empirically some research suggests the linkage of better communication effect with active users' presence, no existing clues are found on the user activeness at the micro level to contribute to the virtual community's aggregate-level health and vitality. This paper models the interpersonal communication process via a multi-agent, self-reasoning model. It considers each agent's information value and conformity value, two key constructs adopted in this paper. This paper adopts simulated experiments to identify active users based on individuals' behavioural characteristics, screen out typical users of different activeness levels, and reveal causalities among the outcomes. The findings show that users' activeness determines the information vitality and influence of information dissemination and substantially impacts the dynamics of user-groups. The author concludes with a discussion of the theoretical and methodological contributions and pinpoints these findings for marketers to improve online customer relationship management. Taxonomy solo is a classification of real responses from students. This research aims to identify the effect of students' responses based on a solo taxonomy in mathematics learning on learning activity and learning outcomes. This research is a mixed-method with an explanatory sequential design. The data were collected using observation instruments, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data was analyzed inferentially and narratively. Based on the results, students who are at the extended abstract response level are classified as very active and having very high learning outcomes, students who are at the relational response level are identified as active and having high learning outcomes, students who are at the multi-structural response level are identified as active and having moderate learning outcomes, students who are at the Uni-structural response level are identified as active and having moderate learning outcomes, and students who are at the pre-structural response level are identified as less active and having low learning outcomes. Thus, it can be interpreted that students' responses based on solo taxonomy in mathematics learning affect activeness and learning outcomes.

This study is aimed to develop an educational game media called ludo-science that is compiled with Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) approach which can be used to train the activeness and students' conceptual understanding. The development procedure is reference to the ADDIE development model. The research data were obtained in the form of validation data, readability data, response data, activeness data, and pretest posttest scores. The results showed that after going through the product validation process by material experts obtained an average percentage of 92,70% and included in the category of very feasible. Product validation by media experts obtained an average percentage of 82,39% and included in the very feasible category. The average readability gained 95,75% and included in the excellent category. The results of activeness obtained an average activity of students by 82,94% and included in the category of very active. The pretest and posttest showed an increase in students' conceptual understanding. The classical calculation state that at the pretest the concept understands is 37,27% while at the posttest is 63,59%. The average questionnaire responses for the use of Ludo-science media with SAVI received an average of 86,79% and included in the excellent category.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of scouting education activities on increasing the value of the social care character of students at MTs Plus Al-Hadi. In this study, researchers used a regression quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 71 students. The data analysis technique used statistical formulas, namely simple linear regression and multiple regression. The sampling technique in this study using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. From the results of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) based on the results of the tcount of 2.782 and ttable of 1.66724, (tcount> ttable) the coaching pattern variable has an influence on increasing the value of social care character in MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 2) Based on the results of tcount of 5.386 and ttable of 1.66724, (tcount> ttable) the activeness of participating in scouts has an effect on increasing the value of social care character in MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 3) Fcount: 16.535 and Ftable 3.13; means Fcount> Ftable at a 5% error rate, the significance level is 0.000 ttabel) variabel pola pembinaan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial. di MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 2) Berdasarkan hasil thitung sebesar 5,386 dan t tabel sebesar 1,66724 (thitung> ttabel) keaktifan mengikuti pramuka berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter peduli sosial di MTs Plus Al-Hadi; 3) Fhitung: 16.535 dan Ftabel 3.13; Berarti Fhitung> Ftabel pada taraf kesalahan 5%, taraf signifikansi 0,000

The study aims to analyze the level of students’ attendance and interaction as well the availability of internet access during online learning in the era of Covid-19 pandemic. The case study is conducted at the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training State Islamic University of Mataram. This research is a part of quantitative research design with surveys. The researcher developed a set of questionnaire in Google Form and shared it to the students via WhatsApp group. 215 students participated in this study. It was found that most of the students attended the class throughout the meetings, but it could not be concluded that they participated during the class from the beginning till the end of the meeting. The causes were by the lack of internet access, instability of signal as well as the availability of the devices. The phenomenon showed that students exist in the class but do not exist. A successful learning occurs when interaction and communication run smoothly among students and teachers.

Government policy on online learning as an effort to prevent the transmission of the spread of COVID-19 in schools, especially in classrooms. Therefore, this policy creates social restrictions and the exclusion of face-to-face learning systems and will temporarily be replaced by online learning through several digital platforms that have been selected by the teacher and each school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Activeness and Motivation on Online Learning in Students. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches, researchers distribute questionnaires in the form of google form. Based on the results of research on the relationship of online learning to student learning activeness and motivation in the activeness category, 64% who answered YES and 36% answered no respectively. In the category of motivation, it shows that 78.5% answered YES and 21.5% answered NO. Based on these results, it can be seen that activeness and motivation can influence students in online learning.

Adiwiyata is one of the programs of the Ministry of the Environment to encourage the creation of knowledge and consciousness of residents in environmental preservation efforts by involving parents in learning. This paper discuss the increased of achievement and passion in learning, as well as the response of the students in class VIIF SMP Negeri 13 Madiun on the subject of the triangle and quadrilateral. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collected by test, observation, and question form. Data analysis using grade analysis of study, level of study, and the students attitude. The results showed: 1) Adiwiyata increase the achievements of students in class VIIF SMP Negeri 13 Madiun; 2) Adiwiyata increase the passion in learning of the student in class VIIF SMP Negeri 13 Madiun; 3) Student in class VIIF SMP Negeri 13 support adiwiyata program to improve learning achievements and passion in learning.

It is defined in terms of 'investment, integration' and 'performance', and empowers vulnerable students to exercise control of their learning and progress based on their needs and desired outcomes. It is argued that activeness has a double didactic and linguistic dimension, implemented as a design feature in course materials and activities, and more importantly, promoted in forum communication. Therefore, participating in a strategically designed and scaffolded inclusive LMOOC can serve the triple purpose of enabling more effective target language learning, empowering vulnerable learners, and developing student potential to become engaged members of the language learning community. This engagement is arguably an important step towards doing the same in the real world. A study is presented of the second edition of an LMOOC on Spanish for immediate needs for vulnerable groups to explore the ways in which activeness was incorporated into the course and the effects it had. This research was conducted following a mixed-method approach which involved the platform’s analytics, forum messages, pre- and post-questionnaires, and course observation. Evidence is provided of the progressive presence of activeness across different linguistic levels and the effect it had on students’ satisfaction, course completion, and linguistic interaction. The results from this LMOOC provide evidence that it is possible to create a supportive online environment that meets the learning needs of vulnerable groups.

This study aims to improve the activeness and achievement of learning in Indonesian language debate materials by using role-playing learning models in grade X students of MIPA 3 MAN 2 Bantul even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was conducted from January to April 2020. This study's subject was a Grade X student of MIPA 3 MAN 2 Bantul, who numbered 25 students. The indicators examined in this study are the activeness and learning achievement of students. The research design uses a class action research model. The study consisted of 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. The data collection method uses observation method, questionnaires, and written tests. The study results can be concluded that applying the Role-Playing learning model can increase the activeness and achievement of learning in the field of study of Bahasa Indonesia debate material in students grade X MIPA 3 MAN 2 Bantul even semester 2019/2020. Student activity in the first cycle of 61.50% increased in the second cycle to 88.50%. In the first cycle, student learning achievement based on an average score of 65.55% increased in the second cycle to 82.28%. Similarly, the number of students completed in the first cycle by 36% rose to 80%. The successful use of Role-Playing learning models can be used as an alternative learning model to improve students' activeness and learning achievement.

Abstract: The covid-19 pandemic affected various sectors, one of them was education. In order to break the covid-19 distribution chain, there was a renewal of the learning method from face-to-face to online methods. The aims of this research were to identify the effect of online learning on literacy skills, activeness, and the level of understanding of students in Science in the Qur'an course at IAIN Tulungagung. The research was conducted using survey and observations methods conducted on students who took the Science in the Qur'an course. The results showed that online learning was able to improve literacy skills and the level of student activity in discussion forums. That were indicated by the statement of 88 percent of students about an increase in the ability to compose sentences properly and correctly and an increase in the courage to argue in discussion forums. In addition, as many as 67 percent of students stated that student activity in discussion forums was increasing. However, most of the students stated that in online learning, students' understanding of course material was low. Abstrak: Pandemi covid-19 berpengaruh terhadap berbagai sektor, salah satunya adalah pendidikan. Dalam rangka pemutusan rantai persebaran covid-19, maka terjadi pembaharuan metode pembelajaran dari metode tatap muka menjadi metode online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap kemampuan literasi, keaktifan, dan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Sains dalam Al-Qur'an di IAIN Tulungagung. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei dan observasi yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa pengambil mata kuliah Sains dalam Al-Qur'an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan tingkat keaktifan mahasiswa dalam forum diskusi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan pernyataan 88 persen mahasiswa tentang adanya peningkatan kemampuan dalam menyusun kalimat dengan baik dan benar serta peningkatan keberanian untuk berpendapat dalam forum diskusi. Selain itu, sebanyak 67 persen mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa keaktifan mahasiswa dalam forum diskusi semakin meningkat. Namun, sebagian besar dari mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa pada pembelajaran online, pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi kuliah tergolong rendah.

The research with the title "Increasing Learning Activeness and Student Learning Outcomes in Mathematics through the Application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Learning Model for Class XII IPA 3 Students in MAN 1 Tegal Odd Semester Academic Year 2019/2020", is a Classroom Action Research. What is examined in this study is the application of learning with the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model, the improvement of student learning outcomes, and how active student learning is during the learning process. This study uses observations to determine the learning process of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and to determine student learning activeness, and tests to determine student learning outcomes. From the results of this study, it was found that: (1) The learning process using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model is as follows: Stage 1: Group formation, Stage 2: Teaching, Stage 3: Study Team, Stage 4: Tests / Quizzes, Stage 5: Recognition; (2) By applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model, the learning outcomes of class XII IPA 3 MAN 1 Tegal in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year subject to mathematics have increased from the initial conditions, the first cycle, and the second cycle. The increase is as follows: In the initial condition there were 55% of unfinished students, 45% of students who had completed. In the first cycle, there were 29% of students who had not completed, and there were 71% of students who had completed. In the second cycle, there were 14% of students who had not completed, while there were 86% of students who had completed. Thus until the second cycle, students whose learning outcomes were complete reached more than 85%; (3) The activeness of students during the learning process from the first and second cycles increases, namely as follows: In the initial conditions (a) students with low activity 66%, medium activeness 18%, high activeness 16%. In the first cycle (a) students with low activity 28.1%, medium activeness 41.2%, high activity 30.7%. In the second cycle (a) students with low activity 8.8%, medium activeness 44.7%, high activity 46.5%.

The purpose of this study (1) to find out how the application of the Student Teams Achivement Division (STAD) learning model can increase students’ learning activities/activeness; (2) to determine the improvement of students’ learning activities/activeness using the STAD type cooperative learning model; (3) to know the learning outcomes of oxidation reduction concept by using the STAD type cooperative learning model. The research was conducted in class X MIPA 2 at SMA N 1 Banguntapan even semester of 2019/2020 academic year. This study is a classroom action research. The cycles consist of cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle went through the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. At the end of the cycle a non-test was conducted in the form of a questionnaire to measure the students’ activities/activeness and a test to measure the students learning outcomes. The result showed (1) the application of the STAD learning model, namely the phase 1 to phase 6 of the concept of redox definition, the determination of good category oxidations stated (77.5%) in cycle I and the concept of oxidizing reducing agents, disproportionation and conception reactions were very good (87.5%) in cycle II. (2) The application of the STAD learning model of oxidation reduction could increase the students’ activities/activeness by 60.51%, the category was quite active in the first cycle to 75.31% the active category in the second cycle. (3) The application of the STAD learning model for oxidation reduction concept could improve the learning outcomes of Chemistry of grade X MIPA students at SMA N 1 Banguntapan by 64% in cycle I, increasing to 78% in cycle II.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan keefektifan metode role playing dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah dalam peningkatan: (a) keaktifan siswa dan (b) kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa, Kabupaten Soppeng, Sulawesi Selatan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dua kelas dari lima kelas, dipilih satu kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode role playing ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan memilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket dengan skala Likert dan panduan observasi. Validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi dan validitas empiris. Pengujian realibilitas dengan menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. (2) Metode role playing lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan kerja sama siswa dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah. Role atau peran yaitu siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok pertama sebagai pemain peran dan kelompok kedua sebagai pengamat. Playing atau bermain yaitu siswa memainkan peran dalam topik musyawarah dan gotong royong dalam menciptakan keamanan desa. Dengan metode role playing, siswa dapat aktif dan bekerja sama pada saat memainkan peran atau karakter. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire with Likert scale and an observation. The validity of the instruments used content validity and empirical validity . Testing reliability by using Cronbach 's Alpha. The data analysis technique used was the t-test analysis technique.The results are as follows. (1) The role playing method is more effective in improving student activeness compared with the lecture method, (2) The role playing method is effective in improving cooperation compared with the lecture method. The role that the students were divided into two groups, the first group as a role player and the second group as observers. Playing that students play a role in the topic of discussion and mutual assistance in creating a security village. Abstract: This research aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of grade 1 students by applying contextual-based integrative thematic learning. This research is an action research consisting of two cycles. Data collection in the research using tests and non-tests. The results showed that there was an increase in activeness from good categories to be very good. Learning outcomes of BI, PPKn, and mathematics respectively 71%, 85%, and 75% in cycle I increased to 78%, 89%, and 85% in cycle II. Thus, the application of contextually based thematic integrated learning can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of grade 1 students of SD N Salatiga 03. Keywords: thematic integrative, contextual, learning outcomes, activeness Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 1 dengan menerapkan pembelajaran tematik integratif berbasis kontekstual. Penelitian penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan subyek siswa kelas I SDN Salatiga 03. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan dari kategori baik menjadi sangat baik. The purposes of this research were to analyze and describe the direct effect of attention, readiness, cognitive ability toward learning outcomes although indirect effect through activeness. Population of this research is student on eleventh grade of Social Class in Senior High School Daar El-Qolam 1 and Senior High School Daar El-Qolam 2 Tangerang in academic year 2016/2017. Amount of sample are 117 taken by Slovin formula. Sample was taken every class used proportional random sampling methode. The methode used to collect data is questionnaire and documentation. Method of data analysis used descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobel test. Results of this research are (1) there is a positive effect of attention, readiness, cognitive ability, and activeness toward learning outcomesamounts37,7%, 5,8%, 28,9%, 9,2%, (2) there is a positive effect of attention, readiness, and cognitive ability toward activeness amounts24%, 23,4%, 35,3%,(3) there is a positive effect of attention toward learning outcomes through activeness amount 2,2%, but there is no effect of readiness and cognitive ability toward learning outcomes through activeness.The concluded that attention, readiness, and cognitive ability affect toward learning outcomes directly, but indirectly only attention who have a positive effect.

With the development of information technology, designing urban experience faces an unprecedented challenge: the combination of cyber information and physical facilities. Cyber-Physical Social System (CPSS) forms the connection between virtual and physical objects, public and private, activeness and passiveness, leading an innovative way to explore human-centred design practice in the context of city and community. The challenges faced by urban communities and extend the design practice of SPSS in combination with public participation community design and Living Lab method. Through three practical cases and related evaluation feedbacks, this study presents a Cyber-Physical Public Design (CPPD) model of a human city. The CPPD model is constructed based on CPSS with the human-centred concept. By combining physical touch points with virtual information world, it is possible to collect data on residents’ lives and improve the city's public facilities and space design, rebuild the urban communities to better meet the needs of the public.

Activeness is a key concept in smart grid visions, but little is known of what this activeness entails. By combing the literature on marketisation/performativity with critical consumption studies, we outline our findings from a case study of a smart grid project in Sweden. Using a mixed method methodology, we critically approach various tensions, doubts and frictions that occur in the process of constructing 'activeness.' For decades, the design of the Swedish energy system has been guided by assumptions that users base their actions on what is profitable and thus behave as calculative agents, and we found this assumption also acted as a guiding principle in this project. However, we encountered project employees who continuously pondered the appropriateness of configuring the smart grid around an economic cornerstone, and they hesitated when trying to explain how their configuration was aligned with the notion of activeness. By describing their scripted users as 'passively active' and 'actively active,' they seemed to cling to the notion of activeness while simultaneously stretching the actual meaning of this word. We conclude that these ambiguities in the configuration of the smart grid do not contribute to any sense of collective rule or environmentally friendly solutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: With the rapid development of information technology and online communities, patients in growing numbers choose to consult physicians in online health communities (OHCs) for information and treatment. Although many researchers have examined OHCs, the impact of physicians' online rating and activeness on patient consultation choice, which is reflected by the number of patients in OHCs, has rarely been discussed. Methods: A computer program was developed to download the required data. We collected data from 8,401 physicians from an online health community, Good Doctor Online, and analyzed data with Stata. An empirical model was conducted to explore the factors that influence the number of patients who consult a physician in OHCs. Results: The results indicate that the online rating and activeness of physicians have positive effects on the number of patients. Furthermore, the physician's professional seniority and hospital rank significantly moderate this positive relationship. As hospital levels increase, the impacts of the online rating and activeness on the number of patients decrease. In addition, the online rating has a weaker influence on the number of patients when a physician has a high professional seniority. Conclusions: It is important to understand what factors influence the number of patients who choose to consult physicians in OHCs. This study aims to explore the effects of online rating and activeness of physicians on the number of patients, as well as the moderating effects of the physician's professional seniority and hospital rank. The learning process in higher education can use constructivist learning strategies for activeness and creativity of students. This study aimed to describe the integration of active learning and internet-based learning and to explain the factors supporting and inhibiting. From the observation data, interviews and documentation of the 31 students of the Department of Teacher Education for Islamic Primary Education (PGMI) and the lecturer of STAIN Ponorogo can be seen that the integration of active learning and Internetbased learning can enhance the activeness and creativity of student learning in the course. Factors supporting this result are the application of learning strategies, giving clear guidance, student learning motivation high and the availability of learning facilities and infrastructure. The factors that inhibit is the limited time, the dominance of smart students and unpreparedness of students receiving new material. Abstrak Proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi dapat menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konstruktivistik untuk keaktifan dan kreativitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi active learning daninternet-based learning untuk menjelaskan faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Dari data observasi, interview dan dokumentasi terhadap 31 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) dan dosen STAIN Ponorogo dapat diketahui bahwa integrasi active learning dan internet-based learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kreativitas belajar mahasiswa di program studi tersebut. Faktor yang mendukung hasil ini adalah penerapan strategi pembelajaran, pemberian pengarahan yang jelas, motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang tinggi dan tersedianya sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. Adapun faktor yang menghambat adalah keterbatasan waktu, dominasi mahasiswa pintar dan ketidaksiapan mahasiswa menerima materi baru.

Event-based social networks (EBSNs) are widely used to create online social groups and organize offline events for users. Activeness and loyalty are crucial characteristics of these online social groups in terms of determining the growth or inactiveness of the social groups in a specific time frame. However, there is less research on these concepts to clarify the existence of groups in event-based social networks. In this paper, we study the problem of group activeness and user loyalty to provide a novel insight into online social networks. First, we analyze the structure of EBSNs and generate features from the crawled datasets. Second, we define the concepts of group activeness and user loyalty based on a series of time windows, and propose a method to measure the group activeness. In this proposed method, we first compute a ratio of a number of events between two consecutive time windows. We then develop an association matrix to assign the activeness label for each group after several consecutive time windows. Similarly, we measure the user loyalty in terms of attended events gathered in time windows and treat loyalty as a contributive feature of the group activeness. Finally, three well-known machine learning techniques are used to verify the activeness label and to generate features for each group. As a consequence, we also find a small group of features that are highly correlated and result in higher accuracy as compared to the whole features.
