Electrically conductive semi‐interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) from shape memory polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyaniline (PANI) is realized. The mechanical properties and shape memory performance of semi‐IPN are slightly different from the original PVC. The distribution of PANI within PVC is found to be non‐uniform in the thickness direction. The electrical conductivity of the as‐fabricated sample at room temperature is around 4.5 × 10−2 S/cm. However, after heating, thermal strain results in significant drop in electrical conductivity. Programming remarkably reduces the electrical conductivity as well. A higher programming temperature and higher programming strain result in more reduction. Subsequent heating for shape recovery causes further reduction in electrical conductivity, despite nearly full shape recovery is achieved. Doping (dedoping and redoping) is confirmed not the major player, but microgaps/fracture in PANI chains during stretching in programming and heating for shape recovery. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Achieving the consciousness of Chinese residents' pro-environmental behaviors is an important way to make up for the 'knowledge-behavior' gap of the current 'high cognition but low practice' of pro-environment behavior. Based on the review of relevant literature of China and abroad, the current research analyzed the environmental normative situational characteristics of three types of pro-environmental motivation using the focus theory of normative conduct and the self-determination theory, including the injunctive characteristic of instrumental environmental motivations, descriptive characteristics of self-interest environmental motivation, and moral characteristics of normative environmental motivation. Combined with the internal and external perspectives of motivation, this study divided pro-environmental behaviors into intrinsic pro-environmental behaviors and extrinsic ones, and constructed a research framework of Chinese residents' pro-environmental behaviors from the 'norm-motivation' perspective. The current research conducted questionnaire surveys in 20 municipalities and prefecture-level cities in China, using descriptive statistical analysis and hierarchical regression analysis to explore the triple interaction between motivation and intrinsic or extrinsic pro-environmental behaviors of residents. The study found that: 1) Instrumental environmental motivation could directly and positively affect residents' extrinsic pro-environmental behaviors. 2) Self-interest environmental motivation could directly and positively affect residents' intrinsic pro-environmental behaviors. 3) The relationship between self-interest environmental motivation and intrinsic pro-environmental behaviors could be negatively moderated by instrumental environmental motivation. 4) The relationship between self-interest environmental motivation and intrinsic pro-environmental behaviors could be positively moderated by normative environmental motivation. 5) The relationship between instrumental environmental motivation and extrinsic pro-environmental behaviors was not moderated by self-interest environmental motivation and normative environmental motivation. 6) When an individual had a high level of the above three motivations, he or she could produce the highest level of intrinsic pro-environmental behaviors. 7) When an individual had low-level normative environmental motivation, high-level self-interest environmental motivation and instrumental environmental motivation, he or she could produce the highest level of extrinsic pro-environmental behaviors. The conclusion of this study was consistent with self-consistency theory, therefore the government could improve the level of residents' pro-environmental behaviors through incentives, education, and the establishment of 'model communities'. Implant failure may occur after the delivery of definitive prostheses. Avoiding replacement of a complete arch implant-supported fixed prosthesis becomes a significant challenge when placement of a new implant is necessary.
