The high risk of patients with chronic lung diseases in developing into lung cancer has been recognised, but the key factors driving such procedure are still barely known. Dendritic cells (DCs) as major antigen presenting cells take part in the immune response in the very upstream, and myeloid DCs regulate the inflammation in pulmonary diseases. In this article, we performed single‐cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‐seq) analyses on DCs from pulmonary diseases. We explore the DC characteristics in chronic lung diseases, lung cancer and healthy control samples. We discover that a special type of DC, which is highly associated with inflammatory, inf‐DC, is abundant in lung cancer samples. Furthermore, we find that there are about 10% patients with chronic lung diseases also has such inf‐DC‐rich pattern. Such proportion is consistent to the fact that about 10% chronic lung disease patients finally developed into cancer. A green corrosion inhibitor was prepared from the bio‐based platform compound 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural through a green synthetic route, which avoid the use of toxic reagent. The inhibition performance and mechanism of this compound for the corrosion of mild steel in 0.1 M HCl was investigated by using the weight loss experiments, polarization measurements, EIS measurements and quantum chemical calculations. The corrosion inhibition efficiency by weight loss measurement (ηWLM%) of this inhibitor can reach up to 90.3 % at 303 K with 1.2 mM concentration. Moreover, the electrochemical experiments revealed that this corrosion inhibitor acts as a mixed‐type inhibitor. Thermodynamic studies gave the values of the standard Gibbs free energy ΔGads0 ${{\rm \Delta }{G}_{ads}^{0}}$ , fall within the range of −20 kJ/mol to −40 kJ/mol, suggested the adsorption of this compound is a spontaneous process involving both physisorption and chemisorption. In addition, quantum chemical calculations were conducted to further validate the formation of an effective absorption layer by this inhibitor on metal surfaces, which showed that the electron density iso‐surfaces of HOMO was mainly distributed on chloride ions, while LUMO tended to be distributed on furan rings and aldehyde groups. Besides, the other quantum chemical parameters of this inhibitor were also calculated to explore the molecular activity, such as, the molecular volume (ν, 333.105 Å), global hardness (η, 4.706 eV), global softness (σ, 0.2125 eV), electronegativity (χ, 4.93 eV), dipolemoment (μ, 13.1429 D) and vertical ionization energy (VIE, 7.2646 eV). Populus euphratica is a unique constructive tree species within riparian desert areas that is essential for maintaining oasis ecosystem stability. The Tarim River Basin contains the most densely distributed population of P. euphratica forests in the world, and obtaining accurate distribution data in the mainstream of the Tarim River would provide important support for its protection and restoration. We propose a new method for automatically extracting P. euphratica using Sentinel-1 and 2 and Landsat-8 images based on the Google Earth Engine cloud platform and the random forest algorithm. A mask of the potential distribution area of P. euphratica was created based on prior knowledge to save computational resources. The NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) time series was then reconstructed using the preferred filtering method to obtain phenological parameter features, and the random forest model was input by combining the phenological parameter, spectral index, textural, and backscattering features. An active learning method was employed to optimize the model and obtain the best model for extracting P. euphratica. Finally, the map of natural P. euphratica forests with a resolution of 10 m in the mainstream of the Tarim River was obtained. The overall accuracy, producer's accuracy, user's accuracy, kappa coefficient, and F1-score of the map were 0.96, 0.98, 0.95, 0.93, and 0.96, respectively. The comparison experiments showed that simultaneously adding backscattering and textural features improved the P. euphratica extraction accuracy, while textural features alone resulted in a poor extraction effect. The method developed in this study fully considered the prior and posteriori information and determined the feature set suitable for the P. euphratica identification task, which can be used to quickly obtain accurate large-area distribution data of P. euphratica. As one of the latest research directions, membraneless batteries provide an economical solution to redox flow batteries. Advances in electrolyte and device design have promoted membraneless batteries from microfluidic demonstration to systems with stimulated modes and considerable electrochemical properties. However, the achieved cycling volumetric capacity is typically limited. Herein, a biphasic membraneless zinc‐iodine battery (Z|T‐I) is proposed, through optimized Zn growth, the Z|T‐I battery achieved a volumetric capacity of 8.93 Ah L−1 for 100 cycles with an average Coulombic efficiency (CE) of 98.49% (2300 h), the deep cycling exhibited a volumetric capacity of 21.7 Ah L−1 (50.43 Wh L−1 based on typical membraneless battery calculation, 1200 h); both values are the highest among single/biphasic membraneless batteries using liquid active materials with/out stimulations (<6.6 Ah L−1) reported so far based on the total electrolyte volume. A thorough analysis of Zn growth in Zn‐Br2/I2 electrolytes with various testing conditions provided direct evidence of the contrasting Zn electrodeposition morphologies at both macro and micro scales. The biphasic ZnI2 battery design strategy gives insights into optimizing material crossover/spatial utilization and electrolyte interfacial stability to realize a scalable membraneless energy storage system with a reduced cost. Terraces, farmlands built along hillside contours, are common anthropogenically designed landscapes. Terraces control soil and water loss and improve land productivity; therefore, obtaining their spatial distribution is necessary for soil and water conservation and agricultural production. Spatial information of large-scale terraces can be obtained using satellite images and through deep learning. However, when extracting terraces, accurately segmenting the boundaries of terraces and identifying small terraces in diverse scenarios continues to be challenging. To solve this problem, we combined two deep learning modules, ANB-LN and DFB, to produce a new deep learning framework (NLDF-Net) for terrace extraction using remote sensing images. The model first extracted the features of the terraces through the coding area to obtain abstract semantic features, and then gradually recovered the original size through the decoding area using feature fusion. In addition, we constructed a terrace dataset (the HRT-set) for Guangdong Province and conducted a series of comparative experiments on this dataset using the new framework. The experimental results show that our framework had the best extraction effect compared to those of other deep learning methods. Improving the dimensional stability is significant for fluorinated poly(aryl ether) (FPAE). In this work, zirconium tungstate (ZrW2O8) with negative thermal expansion (NTE) modified by thiol groups is successfully obtained by surface modification with 3‐(trimethoxysilyl)‐1‐propanethiol. Then, the dispersion of ZrW2O8 is improved and a certain crosslinked structure is formed by click reaction between thiols on the surface of ZrW2O8 and allyl groups on the backbone of FPAE. On this basis, the residual allyl groups on the FPAE can undergo addition reaction under heating conditions to further form crosslinked structure. Due to the introduction of photo‐thermal dual crosslinked structure, the dimensional stability of FPAE is significantly improved, and the coefficient of thermal expansion decreased by 64.3% compared to the unoptimized samples. Meanwhile, the dielectric properties are characterized with dielectric constant and dissipation factor of 3.70 and 0.008 at 1 kHz. Finally, the prepared film is used to assemble triboelectric nanogenerators, where the short‐circuit current, open‐circuit voltage and transferred charge is 3 μA, 30 V, and 10 nC, respectively. Crosslinked FPAE with high dimensional stability and high temperature resistance are successfully gained by avoiding the complexity of monomer synthesis and realizing higher performance with the same inorganic filler loading. Insects pose significant challenges in cotton‐producing regions. Here, they describe a high‐throughput CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated large‐scale mutagenesis library targeting endogenous insect‐resistance‐related genes in cotton. This library targeted 502 previously identified genes using 968 sgRNAs, generated ≈2000 T0 plants and achieved 97.29% genome editing with efficient heredity, reaching upto 84.78%. Several potential resistance‐related mutants (10% of 200 lines) their identified that may contribute to cotton‐insect molecular interaction. Among these, they selected 139 and 144 lines showing decreased resistance to pest infestation and targeting major latex‐like protein 423 (GhMLP423) for in‐depth study. Overexpression of GhMLP423 enhanced insect resistance by activating the plant systemic acquired resistance (SAR) of salicylic acid (SA) and pathogenesis‐related (PR) genes. This activation is induced by an elevation of cytosolic calcium [Ca2+]cyt flux eliciting reactive oxygen species (ROS), which their demoted in GhMLP423 knockout (CR) plants. Protein‐protein interaction assays revealed that GhMLP423 interacted with a human epidermal growth factor receptor substrate15 (EPS15) protein at the cell membrane. Together, they regulated the systemically propagating waves of Ca2+ and ROS, which in turn induced SAR. Collectively, this large‐scale mutagenesis library provides an efficient strategy for functional genomics research of polyploid plant species and serves as a solid platform for genetic engineering of insect resistance. Internal strain and its distribution within the crystal lattice play crucial roles in modulating dislocation activities, thereby affecting mechanical properties of materials. Through the synergistic application of integrated differential phase contrast, in situ transmission electron microscopy characterizations, and computational simulations, a method is unveiled for homogenizing dislocation pinning in NiCoCr multi‐principal element alloy (MPEA) through the introduction of a high concentration of oxygen atoms with high diffusion mobility. The doping of massive oxygen atoms creates a high density of strong local pinning points for dislocation motion. Notably, oxygen interstitials exhibit remarkable diffusion and mobility across different octahedral and tetrahedral sites within the distorted crystal lattice of NiCoCrO alloy, even at room temperature. The capability allows for the release of severe stress concentrations arising from dislocation entanglement and the establishment of new strong local pinning points at alternative locations in a uniform way, enabling the material with high strength and outstanding deformability. These findings suggest that interstitial atoms can exhibit significant mobility, even at ambient temperature, in complex MPEAs with spreading lattice distortion, opening new possibilities for dislocation engineering. Mobility is an important parameter to estimate the performance of organic thin‐film transistors, one of the key factors affecting the mobility is the first several semiconductors molecular layers near the insulator surface. A strategy is proposed to introduce aromatic‐rings in the gate insulating layer to modulate the growth of pentacene, thus a series of aryl group containing polymers by reversible‐addition‐fragmentation chain‐transfer polymerization is synthesized for the preparation of organic thin‐film transistor insulators. The semiconductor layer is evaporated on the polymer insulators at room temperature. As the inducing function of the aromatic ring, greater weak interactions between dielectric materials and semiconductors by simulation, which makes the initial pentacene layer weak epitaxial growth, therefore pentacene could form better morphology, especially larger crystal domains and uniform thin‐film continuity. The results show that precision design and synthesis of polymer insulator layers provide new methods to achieve high performance of organic thin‐film transistors with easier fabricating process.
