Abstract

Abstract We explore the decay of bound neutrons in the JUNO liquid scintillator detector into invisible particles (e.g., $$n\rightarrow 3 \nu $$ n → 3 ν or $$nn \rightarrow 2 \nu $$ n n → 2 ν ), which do not produce an observable signal. The invisible decay includes two decay modes: $$ n \rightarrow { inv} $$ n → inv and $$ nn \rightarrow { inv} $$ n n → inv . The invisible decays of s-shell neutrons in $$^{12}\textrm{C}$$ 12 C will leave a highly excited residual nucleus. Subsequently, some de-excitation modes of the excited residual nuclei can produce a time- and space-correlated triple coincidence signal in the JUNO detector. Based on a full Monte Carlo simulation informed with the latest available data, we estimate all backgrounds, including inverse beta decay events of the reactor antineutrino $${\bar{\nu }}_e$$ ν ¯ e , natural radioactivity, cosmogenic isotopes and neutral current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos. Pulse shape discrimination and multivariate analysis techniques are employed to further suppress backgrounds. With two years of exposure, JUNO is expected to give an order of magnitude improvement compared to the current best limits. After 10 years of data taking, the JUNO expected sensitivities at a 90% confidence level are $$\tau /B( n \rightarrow { inv} ) > 5.0 \times 10^{31} \, \textrm{years}$$ τ / B ( n → inv ) > 5.0 × 10 31 years and $$\tau /B( nn \rightarrow { inv} ) > 1.4 \times 10^{32} \, \textrm{years}$$ τ / B ( n n → inv ) > 1.4 × 10 32 years .

Abstract

The processing of nuclear pulse signals based on deep learning (DL) requires a well-labeled data set. However, the current energy spectrometers can only give users the final results, and do not allow manual labeling during the pulse signal collection process. The presented (GaSim) is a Python-based gamma pulse simulator of the raw detector electrical output signal with excellent customization capabilities. It allows customization of gamma pulse signal parameters from various aspects, making it versatile and useful for a wide range of detectors. Additionally, it provides the required labels for each generated electrical pulse at specified positions, enabling the creation of datasets for DL development.

Abstract

Abstract Rapid and intelligent identification of prostate cancer (PCa) is critical for early diagnosis. Herein, a convenient, reliable, and intelligent strategy is proposed to screen PCa individuals through indirectly quantifying sarcosine (Sar), an early indicator of PCa, in clinical urine samples. Success is achieved by integrating sarcosine oxidase (SOX) as a specific recognition unit; nanozyme‐assisted multicolor intelligent visualization platform as a signal reporter. With the Fe‐MOFs and peroxidase, the synergetic action of SOX and response gold nanorods (Au NRs) is controlled etched to exhibit a multicolored signal. The sensor exhibits excellent linearity with Sar within 1–60 × 10−6 m, boasting a remarkable detection limit of 0.12 × 10−6 m. The RGB value of the display color can be directly extracted using a mobile phone camera. PCa diagnosis can be swiftly made (within 15 min) and directly by identifying two RGB colors (R < 175 or B > 135). The enzyme‐assisted multicolor intelligent visualization platform is adept at detecting minute differences in Sar concentration in urine samples between PCa patients and healthy individuals. The concept of enzyme‐assisted multicolor sensing can be further expanded by modifying the type of immobilized enzymes, providing a valuable guideline for the rational design of multiple probes to measure specific biomarkers in biological samples.

Abstract

Abstract Small-scale motion detection using non-invasive remote sensing techniques has recently garnered significant interest in the field of speech recognition. Our dataset paper aims to facilitate the enhancement and restoration of speech information from diverse data sources for speakers. In this paper, we introduce a novel multimodal dataset based on Radio Frequency, visual, text, audio, laser and lip landmark information, also called RVTALL. Specifically, the dataset consists of 7.5 GHz Channel Impulse Response (CIR) data from ultra-wideband (UWB) radars, 77 GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) data from millimeter wave (mmWave) radar, visual and audio information, lip landmarks and laser data, offering a unique multimodal approach to speech recognition research. Meanwhile, a depth camera is adopted to record the landmarks of the subject’s lip and voice. Approximately 400 minutes of annotated speech profiles are provided, which are collected from 20 participants speaking 5 vowels, 15 words, and 16 sentences. The dataset has been validated and has potential for the investigation of lip reading and multimodal speech recognition.

Abstract

The thermal safety of hydrophobic silica aerogels (SAs) is essential to thermal insulation applications. Herein, trimethylchlorosilane (TMCS), dimethyldichlorosilane (DMDCS), and methyltrichlorosilane (MTCS) were employed as surface modifiers to prepare three different methylsilyl-modified SAs (i.e., TSA, DSA, and MSA) and their combustion characteristics and thermal hazards were experimentally studied in detail. The cone calorimeter test found that the three SAs have similar combustion processes and the variations in ignition time and fire spread rate with the heat flux obey simple logarithmic and linear relationships, respectively. It further found that TSA has the most methylsilyl groups on silica skeletons and thus has the largest heat release, followed by DSA and MSA in turn, implying that TSA has the greatest fire hazard among the three SAs. These results further demonstrate that the type and quantity of methylsilyl groups on the skeletons of SAs significantly affect the thermal hazard of methylsilyl-modified SAs. In addition, the combustion mechanism of the methylsilyl-modified SAs is discussed. In total, this work experimentally studies the combustion characteristics of methylsilyl-modified SAs and compares their thermal hazards, clarifying the potential fire risk of methylsilyl-modified SAs in practical thermal insulation applications.

Abstract

Abstract Main goal of the JUNO experiment is to determine the neutrino mass ordering using a 20 kt liquid-scintillator detector. Its key feature is an excellent energy resolution of at least 3% at 1 MeV, for which its instruments need to meet a certain quality and thus have to be fully characterized. More than 20,000 20-inch PMTs have been received and assessed by JUNO after a detailed testing program which began in 2017 and elapsed for about four years. Based on this mass characterization and a set of specific requirements, a good quality of all accepted PMTs could be ascertained. This paper presents the performed testing procedure with the designed testing systems as well as the statistical characteristics of all 20-inch PMTs intended to be used in the JUNO experiment, covering more than fifteen performance parameters including the photocathode uniformity. This constitutes the largest sample of 20-inch PMTs ever produced and studied in detail to date, i.e. 15,000 of the newly developed 20-inch MCP-PMTs from Northern Night Vision Technology Co. (NNVT) and 5000 of dynode PMTs from Hamamatsu Photonics K. K.(HPK).

Abstract

Abstract Castration‐resistant prostate cancer (PCa) causes severe bone metastasis (BM), which significantly increases mortality in men with PCa. Imaging tests and radiometric scanning require long analysis times, expensive equipment, specialized personnel, and a slow turnaround. New visualization technologies are expected to solve the above problems. Nonetheless, existing visualization techniques barely meet the urgency for precise diagnosis because the human eyes cannot recognize and capture even slight variations in visual information. By using dye differentiated superposition enhancement colorimetric biosensors, an effective method to diagnose prostate cancer bone metastases (PCa‐BM) with excellent accuracy for naked‐eye quantitative detection of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is developed. The biomarker ALP specific hydrolytic product ascorbic acid can be detected by rhodamine derivatives (Rd) as gold nanobipyramids (Au NBPs) are deposited and grown. Color‐recombining enhancement effects between Rd and Au NBPs significantly improved abundance. The 150 U L−1 threshold between normal and abnormal can be identified by color. And with color enhancement effect and double signal response, the ALP index is visually measured to diagnose PCa‐BM and provide handy treatment recommendations. Additionally, the proposed colorimetric sensing strategy can be used to diagnose other diseases.

9. Constraining super-light sterile neutrinos at Borexino and KamLAND

Abstract

Abstract The presence of a super-light sterile neutrino can lead to a dip in the survival probability of solar neutrinos, and explain the suppression of the upturn in the low energy solar neutrino data. In this work, we systematically study the survival probabilities in the 3+1 framework by taking into account of the non-adiabatic transitions and the coherence effect. We obtain an analytic equation that can predict the position of the dip. We also place constraints on the parameter space of sterile neutrinos by using the latest Borexino and KamLAND data. We find that the low and high energy neutrino data at Borexino are sensitive to different regions in the sterile neutrino parameter space. In the case with only θ 01 being nonzero, the 8B data sets the strongest bounds at ∆ m 01 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{01}^2 $$ ≈ (1.1 ∼ 2.2) ∆ m 21 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{21}^2 $$ , while the low energy neutrino data is more sensitive to other mass-squared regions. The lowest bounds on ∆ m 01 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{01}^2 $$ from the pp data can reach 10 −12 eV2 because of the coherence effect. Also, due to the presence of non-adiabatic transitions, the bounds in the range of 10 −9 eV2 ≲ ∆ m 01 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{01}^2 $$ ≲ 10 −5 eV2 become weaker as ∆ m 01 2 $$ \Delta {m}_{01}^2 $$ or sin2 2θ 01 decreases. We also find that in the case with only θ 02 or θ 03 being nonzero, the low energy solar neutrino data set similar but weaker bounds as compared to the case with only θ 01 being nonzero. However, the bounds from the high energy solar data and the KamLAND data are largely affected by the sterile mixing angles.

Abstract

The physics potential of detecting ^8 B solar neutrinos will be exploited at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), in a model-independent manner by using three distinct channels of the charged current (CC), neutral current (NC), and elastic scattering (ES) interactions. Due to the largest-ever mass of ^13 C nuclei in the liquid scintillator detectors and the expected low background level, ^8 B solar neutrinos are observable in the CC and NC interactions on ^13 C for the first time. By virtue of optimized event selections and muon veto strategies, backgrounds from the accidental coincidence, muon-induced isotopes, and external backgrounds can be greatly suppressed. Excellent signal-to-background ratios can be achieved in the CC, NC, and ES channels to guarantee the observation of the ^8 B solar neutrinos. From the sensitivity studies performed in this work, we show that JUNO, with 10 yr of data, can reach the 1 σ precision levels of 5%, 8%, and 20% for the ^8 B neutrino flux, ${\sin }^{2}{\theta }_{12}$ , and ${\rm{\Delta }}{m}_{21}^{2}$ , respectively. Probing the details of both solar physics and neutrino physics would be unique and helpful. In addition, when combined with the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory measurement, the world's best precision of 3% is expected for the measurement of the ^8 B neutrino flux.

Abstract

The introduction of sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is driven by the high expectations for future cellular systems. In traditional SCMA receivers, the message passing algorithm (MPA) is commonly employed for received-signal decoding. However, the high computational complexity of the MPA falls short in meeting the low latency requirements of modern communications. Deep learning (DL) has been proven to be applicable in the field of signal detection with low computational complexity and low bit error rate (BER). To enhance the decoding performance of SCMA systems, we present a novel approach that replaces the complex operation of separating codewords of individual sub-users from overlapping codewords using classifying images and is suitable for efficient handling by lightweight graph neural networks. The eigenvalues of training images contain crucial information, such as the amplitude and phase of received signals, as well as channel characteristics. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme has better BER performance and lower computational complexity than other previous SCMA decoding strategies.

Abstract The couplings between the neutrinos and exotic fermion can be probed in both neutrino scattering experiments and dark matter direct detection experiments. We present a detailed analysis of the general neutrino interactions with an exotic fermion and electrons at neutrino-electron scattering experiments. We obtain the constraints on the coupling coefficients of the scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, axialvector, tensor and electromagnetic dipole interactions from the CHARM-II, TEXONO and Borexino experiments. For the flavor-universal interactions, we find that the Borexino experiment sets the strongest bounds in the low mass region for the electromagnetic dipole interactions, and the CHARM-II experiment dominates the bounds for other scenarios. If the interactions are flavor dependent, the bounds from the CHARM-II or TEXONO experiment can be avoided, and there are correlations between the flavored coupling coefficients for the Borexino experiment. We also discuss the detection of sub-MeV DM absorbed by bound electron targets and illustrate that the vector coefficients preferred by XENON1T data are allowed by the neutrino-electron scattering experiments.

Modelling the mixed traffic flows of autonomous vehicles (AVs) and human-driven vehicles (HVs) on highways is challenging. Randomness, fluctuations, and congestion exist in the mixed traffic flows. This paper extends the current literature by proposing an M/G(n)/c/c state-dependent queuing model operating in a random environment. The fluctuating traffic demand is addressed by arrival rates modulated by the random environment. Meanwhile, a Markovian arrival process (MAP) is incorporated to describe the platoons. We investigate the performance of the mixed traffic flow under the I policy (AVs and HVs travel together in all lanes) and the D policy (one lane is designated to AVs). Numerical experiments reveal the following interesting findings: (1) the fluctuation degree of traffic demand, the traffic intensity, and the penetration rate of AVs play essential roles in determining the performance of mixed traffic flows. (2) The I policy should always be adopted if the travel time is more valuable. In terms of output rate, the choice between the I and the D policies depends on the traffic intensity, SCV of arrival rates and penetration rate. (3) A larger penetration rate is required to completely eliminate congestion on a longer highway segment.

Cloud platforms provide a low-cost and convenient way for users to share data. One important issue of cloud-based data sharing systems is how to prevent the sensitive information contained in users’ data from being disclosed. Existing studies often utilize cryptographic primitives, such as attribute-based encryption and proxy re-encryption, to protect data privacy. These approaches generally rely on a centralized server which may cause a single point of failure problem. Blockchain is known for its ability to solve such a problem. Some blockchain-based approaches have been proposed to realize privacy-preserving data sharing. However, these approaches did not fully explore the auditability provided by the blockchain. The dishonest cloud server can share data with a requester without notifying the data owner or being logged by the blockchain. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based privacy-preserving data sharing system with enhanced auditability. The proposed system follows the idea of hybrid encryption to protect data privacy. The data to be shared are encrypted with a symmetric key, and the symmetric key is encrypted with a joint public key which is the sum of multiple blockchain nodes’ public keys. Only if a data requester is authorized, the blockchain nodes will be triggered to execute a verifiable key switch protocol. By using the output of the protocol, the data requester can get the plaintext of the symmetric key. The blockchain nodes participate in both the authorization process and the key switch process, which means the behavior of the data requester is witnessed by multi-parties and is auditable. We implement the proposed system on Hyperledger Fabric. The simulation results show that the performance overhead is acceptable.

Triaxial tests were performed on samples of unsaturated moraine soil at a high-plateau airport of China by using the unsaturated soil triaxial apparatus. In the tests, the matric suction and net confining pressure were controlled. In the scheme of the tests, the matric suctions were controlled at 0 kPa, 50 kPa, 100 kPa and 200 kPa. The net confining pressures were controlled at 100 kPa, 200 kPa, 300 kPa and 400 kPa. The results showed that for the unsaturated moraine soil, c' and φ ' increase in the matric suction and their growth rates were similar. The relationship between volumetric strain and net confining pressure showed that the specimens were in a state of dilatancy with a small net confining pressure and the amount of dilatancy rapidly decreased and developed into a shear shrinkage state with an increase in net confining pressure. The last amount of shrinkage was stable at approximately 0.6%. Also, the soil suction characteristic curve for the studied soil was obtained by the tests and the suction stress increased with the matric suction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Data with large dimensions will bring various problems to the application of data envelopment analysis (DEA). In this study, we focus on a “big data” problem related to the considerably large dimensions of the input-output data. The four most widely used approaches to guide dimension reduction in DEA are compared via Monte Carlo simulation, including principal component analysis (PCA-DEA), which is based on the idea of aggregating input and output, efficiency contribution measurement (ECM), average efficiency measure (AEC), and regression-based detection (RB), which is based on the idea of variable selection. We compare the performance of these methods under different scenarios and a brand-new comparison benchmark for the simulation test. In addition, we discuss the effect of initial variable selection in RB for the first time. Based on the results, we offer guidelines that are more reliable on how to choose an appropriate method.

Abstract

Temperature-sensitive liposomes (TSLs) have received constant attention due to the release of contents around the physiological temperature, which holds great potential in the treatment of tumors. However, the development of TSLs is limited by the long-term biotoxicity and low photothermal conversion efficiency of heat-generation materials. In this study, we develop a new D-A (donor-acceptor) structure NIR absorbing dye (C720) which exhibits a high photothermal conversion efficiency (62%), good photostability, and photothermal reproducibility. Then C720 is doped in the lipid bilayer and DOX (doxorubicin) is wrapped in the core of temperature sensitive liposomes to construct a C720 and DOX-loaded thermosensitive nanoplatform (CDTSL). The as-prepared CDTSL achieves NIR light controlled drug release and can be applied for photoacoustic imaging. In vitro and in vivo studies confirm that CDTSL exhibits high tumor suppressive efficiency by synergistic photothermal therapy and chemotherapy. Our research provides fundamental insights for the rational design and preparation of a promising nanoplatform for photoacoustic imaging and chemo-photothermal therapy.

Abstract

In this work, an anionic conjugated polyelectrolyte (PCP-SO3K), in which the backbone contains alternating 4,4-bis-alkyl-4H-cyclopenta-[2,1-b;3,4-b']-dithiophene and benzene structural units and the charges are provided by pendant sulfonate groups, was synthesized. The ionic nature of PCP-SO3K renders it soluble in water, and PCP-SO3K aqueous solution exhibits good photostability, with two main absorbance bands centered at 490 nm and 837 nm before and after laser irradiation. Its NIR absorption in water, negligible photoluminescence and insignificant intersystem crossing endow PCP-SO3K with efficient photothermal therapy performance, and an effective photothermal conversion efficiency of 56.7% was realized. Thus, PCP-SO3K aqueous solution can be used as an effective photothermal agent for in vivo applications as its photoactivity can be triggered by NIR light and can convert laser energy into thermal energy in a water environment. Of particular importance is the fact that complete tumor remission without recurrence in 4T1 tumor-bearing mice was realized after intravenous injection of PCP-SO3K aqueous solution and laser irradiation (2.0 W cm-2, 808 nm). The results indicate that the application of anionic conjugated polyelectrolytes as photothermal agents in photothermal therapy provides a new platform for the design of photothermal agents for clinical cancer treatment.

As the mimic biology becomes more and more important in the field of technology, superhydrophobic materials in the natural world have also become common. Superhydrophobic surfaces are used to prevent water droplets from wetting themselves which contain the micro- and nano-structures named hierarchical surfaces and exhibit the high water contact angles (WCA) that are greater than 150˚ and perfect application foreground in both our daily lives and industry. In this work, we first discuss several surface properties and their numerical models. And then we list the surface properties of a variety of natural superhydrophobic surfaces and sum up their similarities and differences. The most recent strategies of how to apply natural superhydrophobic surfaces are also introduced within the past several years. In addition, we talk about the limitations of the current generation of superhydrophobic surfaces and prospects which looks for solutions to the problems. This review aims to enable researchers to learn more about the principles and mechanisms of superhydrophobicity and perceive the new methods for creating and modifying it.

Abstract

Photodynamic therapy (PDT), which utilizes reactive oxygen species to ablate tumor, has attracted much attention in recent years. Photosensitizers with near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence as well as efficient ROS generation ability have been used for precise diagnosis and simultaneous treatment of cancer. However, photosensitizers frequently suffer from low ROS generation ability and NIR fluorescence quenching in aqueous media due to the aggregation. Methods: We prepare an effective AIE active NIR emissive photosensitizer containing rhodanine as electron acceptor and triphenylvinylthiophene as electron donor is prepared, and encapsulate the corresponding photosensitizer into Pluronic F127 to fabricate NIR organic fluorescent nanoparticles. We then evaluate the NIR fluorescence bioimaging and photodynamic therapy ability of TPVTR dots in vitro and in vivo. Results: The yielded organic fluorescent nanoparticles exhibit effective ROS generation ability, bright NIR emission, high photostability, and good biocompatibility. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments confirm that NIR organic fluorescent nanoparticles demonstrate good performances in long-term tracing and photodynamic ablation of tumor. Conclusion: In summary, the synthesized organic fluorescent nanoparticles, TPVTR dots, showed great potentials in long-term cell tracing and photodynamic therapy of tumor. Our study highlights the efficient strategy for developing promising near-infrared organic fluorescent nanoparticles in advancing the field of bioimaging and further image-guide clinical applications.

Abstract

A near-infrared absorbing chromophore has broad prospects as a photoacoustic imaging/photothermal agent due to its simple chemical structure, high purity and good biocompatibility. But its development is severely limited due to low photothermal conversion efficiency and photothermal instability. Hence, a donor–acceptor chromophore containing 2-dicyanomethylenethiazole as an electron acceptor and triphenylamine as an electron donor is synthesized, and encapsulated in Pluronic F127 to fabricate organic nanoparticles for PA imaging and PTT application. The yielded organic nanoparticles possess near infrared absorption, high photostability, good biocompatibility, and high photothermal conversion efficiency (38%). In vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that organic nanoparticles show good performances in PA imaging and photothermal ablation of tumors, and are candidates for PAI/PTT agents.

Abstract

Effective long-term monitoring of tumor growth is significant for the evaluation of cancer therapy. Aggregation-induced emission-active near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent organic nanoparticles (TPFE-Rho dots) are designed and synthesized for long-term in vitro cell tracking and in vivo monitoring of tumor growth. TPFE-Rho dots display the advantages of NIR fluorescent emission, large Stokes shift (∼180 nm), good biocompatibility, and high photostability. In vitro cell tracing studies demonstrate that TPFE-Rho dots can track SK-Hep-1 cells over 11 generations. In vivo optical imaging results confirm that TPFE-Rho dots can monitor tumor growth for more than 19 days in a real-time manner. This work indicates that TPFE-Rho dots could act as NIR fluorescent nanoprobes for real-time long-term in situ in vivo monitoring of tumor growth.

Abstract

Lysosomes, as the cellular recycling center, are filled with numerous hydrolases that can degrade most cellular macromolecules. Studies have shown that the abnormality of viscosity in lysosomes will disrupt the normal function of lysosomes. Herein, a D-π-A structure near-infrared fluorescent probe containing N,N-dimethylamino benzene as an electron donor, benzothiozole as an electron acceptor, and a vinyl group as a π unit, Lyso-BTC, is explored for fluorescence imaging of lysosomes and detection of lysosomal viscosity changes. Lyso-BTC exhibits a large Stokes shift (∼180 nm), NIR emission (685 nm), good biocompatibility, excellent photostability, and fluorescence response to viscosity. Moreover, the results of in vitro studies reveal that Lyso-BTC is lysosome-targeted and could be applied for the detection of viscosity changes in lysosomes caused by chloroquine treatment. These results confirm that Lys-BTC could be employed to monitor lysosomal viscosity changes in living cells.

Abstract

A simple approach for the synthesis of novel yellow luminescent carbon dots (Y-CDs) has been developed via solvothermal method using l -tartaric acid and urea as precursors. The obtained Y-CDs were found to emit bright yellow luminescence under UV illumination with a quantum yield of 16.7%. Meanwhile, the Y-CDs exhibited excitation-dependence, photo-stability, and well dispersibility. The Y-CDs efficiently and selectively detected the VB12 in aqueous solution through a fluorescent “Turn Off” phenomenon. Excellent linear relationship between Y-CDs emission ratio and VB12 concentration from 0 μM to 200 μM is observed, in which the correlation coefficient is 0.997 and the detection limit is 2.045 μmol/L. The quenching mechanism was investigated through proper microscopic and spectroscopic studies. In a parallel experiment, the Y-CDs were used as a cell-imaging probe for MDA-MB-231 cells. Our results demonstrated that as-obtained Y-CDs can be simply used as versatile probes, highlighting their potential in different biological studies.

Abstract

Mitochondria are essential organelles in eukaryotic cells and act as the energy powerhouse and biosynthetic compartment. Fluorescent dyes are widely used powerful molecular tools for analytical sensing and optical imaging. Low photostability, short excitation and emission wavelengths, and aggregation-induced quenching effects restrict the application of traditional commercial mitochondrial fluorescent probes for bioimaging. In this study, using rhodamine as the acceptor and phenothiazine as the donor, we synthesized a novel mitochondrial-targeted near infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe, MIT-PZR. Due to low cytotoxicity, great photostability and high specificity for mitochondria targeting, MIT-PZR has enormous potential for cell imaging. Furthermore, with a sizeable Stokes shift (emission peak at 705 nm), MIT-PZR penetrated tissues providing stable red fluorescence for imaging in vivo. The histological assessment of various tissues after treatment with MIT-PZR indicated that it has good biocompatibility. Thus, MIT-PZR is a promising mitochondrial NIR fluorescent probe for future application in clinical diagnosis and modern biological research.

Abstract

Based on the perspective of flight technology and flight safety, the unsaturated clayey foundation soil of a high plateau airport in the mountainous area of southwest China is taken as the research object, and the calculation method of the composite modulus of CFG pile composite foundation with the soil between the piles as the unsaturated soil is established according to the relevant characteristics of unsaturated soil, and the calculation method of the composite foundation's settlement is carried out on the basis of this method. At the same time, Plaxis finite element analysis software is used to model the actual project and numerically analyze the settlement characteristics of the composite foundation. Finally, the calculation results of the two methods are compared and studied with the actual settlement monitoring values on site. The study shows that: 1) the theoretical analysis method is able to consider the effects of pile length, pile modulus, and matrix suction in unsaturated soil of rigid piles on the composite modulus, which is more in line with the reality than the conventional composite modulus method that does not consider the unsaturated nature of the soil between the piles; 2) the resultant values computed by the theoretical and numerical analysis methods recommended in this paper are both smaller than those measured at the site but the difference is within the range of 10%, so that in the actual plateau of the High Plains airports can choose the two analysis methods recommended in this paper to conduct related research.
