Objective: In this study aimed to evaluate the content of vaccine-related news in the digital news environment.Materials and Methods: The data of this descriptive study were collected retrospectively by examining the news with the words "COVID-19" and "vaccine" published on the websites of the three most visited newspapers (Sabah, Hürriyet, Milliyet) and three news sites (habertürk.com, haberler.com, haber7.com) between the dates of 14.11.2020-14.12.2020 before the vaccination administrations started in Turkey.Results: In 64.9% of 1296 news, source of the information in the news was specified. In 98.5% of the news, the content of the vaccine, in 74.3% of the news, the method, and scope of the vaccine, in 58.7% of the news, the current phase of the vaccine study, in 89.3% of the news, the age range of the vaccination study, in 65.6 % of the news, how often the vaccine produces immunity and in 82.9% of the news, the dose ranges of the vaccine were not mentioned.Conclusion: It is an essential responsibility for the media to provide expert opinions more frequently in their news and to convey scientific information to their readers in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

What were the drinks of that time? and what counted as drinks. All the springs of Makkah and Madinah have been discussed. And the names of different springs are also mentioned with argument. The fountain of Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari is also mentioned. costumes of the Prophet (swa) have been discussed as needed. Different types of clothing of this era, different names, Makkey dress, especially Madni dress have been highlighted a lot. Especially the blessed clothes of Muhammad (swa) have been described in a beautiful and charming way. Also the blessed turban of the Muhammad (swa) the decoration of the article. Then the fragrances and perfumes of the Prophets time are mentioned. Then the ornaments of the Prophet (swa) are brought. May Allah Almighty be your protector and helper.

Concrete-filled composite elements have recently gained popularity as beams and columns all over the world. They have advantages similar to reinforced concrete elements, such as the moulding process and the lack of maintenance of the filled concrete, as well as advantages similar to hollow steel elements, such as enhancing compressive strength and bending capacity by using smaller sections. In this paper, the buckling behaviour of thin-walled steel columns with circular cross-section and different filling materials was investigated under uniaxial load. Six different materials (concrete produced using normal aggregate, concrete produced using waste aggregate, waste fine aggregate, waste coarse aggregate, waste iron dust and polyurethane) were used as filling. Filled columns were compared experimentally with hollow thin-walled steel columns that had the same height and diameter. All specimens had the same length (750 mm), same diameter (60.3mm) and the same wall thickness (3mm). Experimental results were compared with analytical results obtained from a calculation done using the national steel design code, Design, Calculation and Construction Principles of Steel Structures 2016. Additionally, columns specimens were modelled in Abaqus software. Conservative and consistent results were obtained from comparing experimental, analytical, and numerical results.

In recent years, roller compacted concrete (RCC) technology has been widely used worldwide. RCC is preferred for dam and road construction because of its low cost and rapid placement. RCC has the same basic constituents and produced by using the same methods with conventional concrete. However, unlike conventional concrete, a lower amount of cement is used as well as being compacted by roller because of its dry consistency. In this work, general properties of the RCC and the properties of the materials used in their mixtures were mentioned. The type and usage amount of cement, aggregate gradation, water and mineral admixtures as materials that form the initial content of roller compacted concrete and affecting various properties of RCC were studied. In addition, the use and advantages of these materials in RCC applications around the world were mentioned.

The estimation of reference evapotranspiration (ETo) is required for effective development and management of agriculture water systems. In order to define the most accurate method to estimate ETo in semi-arid climatic environment of Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar. Penman and Thornwait ETo methods are compared with standard Penman-Monteith (PM) ETo method. The statistical results show that Penman ETo method overestimates PM ETo method in all the semi-arid climatic regions of Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar by 34.91%, 39.51% and 30.75%, respectively. The R2 were 0.98, 0.98 and 0.99 at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather stations, respectively. The RMSE were 2.47 mm/day, 2.64 mm/day and 2.19 mm/day at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather station, respectively. The MBE of -2.41 mm/day, -2.58 mm/day and -2.13 mm/day were noted at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather stations, respectively. The statistical result of Thornwait (Th) ETo method as compared with PM ETo method indicates underestimation of ETo in winter season and overestimation of ETo in summer season by 13.81%, 22.43% and 14.54% at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar stations, respectively. The R2 of 0.92, 0.89 and 0.95 were noted at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather stations, respectively. The RMSE were 2.14 mm/day, 2.36 mm/day and 1.16 mm/day at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather stations, respectively. The MBE were -0.68 mm/day, -1.12 mm/day and 0.61 mm/day at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar weather stations, respectively. Overall, Thornwait method gave better estimation of ETo than Penman ETo method at all the weather stations.

Various methods are available to predict reference evapotranspiration (ETo) but the Penman-Monteith (PM) ETo method has been considered to be the most accurate ETo method to determine ETo. The PM ETo method can be solved by various weather parameters like atmospheric temperature, wind velocity, moisture content and net solar radiations. There are many weather stations in the world that have no complete set of weather parameters to predict ETo by applying PM ETo method. So alternative ETo methods like Hargreaves (HG) and Blaney-Criddle (BC) ETo methods are used which need only a fewer number of weather parameters. In this paper, two ETo methods, HG and BC are compared with PM ETo method in humid subtropical climatic conditions of Islamabad and Kakul (Abbottabad) weather stations. The study indicate that HG ETo method overestimated PM ETo method by 23.78% at Islamabad weather station and 28.47% at Kakul station. The BC ETo method overestimated PM ETo method by 37.93% at Islamabad weather station and by 22.68% at Kakul weather station. The dissimilarity of HG ETo method with PM ETo method with RMSE was 1.09 mm/day at Islamabad weather station and 1.17 mm/day at Kakul weather station. The dissimilarity of BC ETo method with PM ETo method has Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 2.86 mm/day at Islamabad weather station and 1.48 mm/day at Kakul weather station.

The Penman-Monteith (FAO-56 PM) ETo equation is considered as the standard ETo equation to estimate reference evapotranspiration (ETo) under all the weather conditions of the world. But there are many regions of the globe where all the climatic data is not available to evaluate FAO-56 PM ETo equation. So, Hargreaves (HG) ETo equation can be used which required very small number of weather data. The HG ETo equation requires only air temperature as input data which is available at most of the weather stations of the world. But the major drawback of HG ETo equation is that it overestimates or underestimates FAO-56 PM ETo equation. So it becomes necessary to modify HG ETo Equation according to the local climatic conditions before it is being applied. The HGorg and modified HG ETo equations are assessed for ETo estimation under cold and hot semi-arid climatic conditions of Quetta and Zhob weather stations by using 9 years meteorological data of each weather station against FAO-56PM ETo equation. The original HG ETo equation overestimates FAO-56 PM ETo equation at Zhob weather station by giving percentage error of 15.82% and underestimate at Quetta weather station by giving percentage error of 35.02%. The coefficient of original HG ETo equation was modified by using a simple mathematical logic. The overestimation at Zhob weather station reduced to 1.89% and underestimation at Quetta station reduced to 0.87% by using modified HG ETo equation. The variations of original HG ETo equation with FAO-56 PM ETo equation has RMSE of 0.89 mm/day at Zhob weather station and 1.74 mm/day at Quetta weather station. The variations of modified HG ETo equation with FAO-56 PM ETo equation has RMSE of 0.27 mm/day at Zhob weather station and 0.29 mm/day at Quetta weather station

Mevcut çalışmada betonarme kirişlerde soğuk derz tipi birleşimin kiriş eğilme davranışı üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda toplam yedi adet kirişin dört nokta eğilme testleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu kirişler 150 mm genişliğe, 300 mm yüksekliğe ve 3000 mm uzunluğa sahiptir. Soğuk derzler üç farklı yöntem ile oluşturulmuştur. Bunlardan ilk ikisi kirişin tam ortasında yani sabit moment bölgesinde yatayla 45 ve 90° açı yapacak şekilde iken, sonuncusu ise kiriş yarı yüksekliği seviyesinde kiriş uzunluğu boyunca devam etmektedir. Tüm soğuk derz birleşimleri betonun 24 saatlik arayla iki ayrı dökümü neticesinde elde edilmiştir. Farklı tipte soğuk derz birleşimine sahip betonarme kirişlerin eğilme davranışlarının net şekilde belirlenmesi için çalışmada tek dökümden üretilmiş bir referans kirişe de yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca soğuk derz birleşimlerinde aderans artırıcı harç kullanımının kirişlerin eğilme davranışları üzerindeki etkileri de araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla farklı derz tipleri için her numuneden birbirinin aynı iki adet üretilmiş ve birer numunede ikinci beton dökümünden önce soğuk derz birleşim yüzeylerine aderans artırıcı harç “MasterBrace ADH 1420” uygulanmıştır., In the present study, the effects of cold joint type on bending behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beams were investigated. Within this scope, four point bending tests of a total of seven beams were carried out. These beams have a width of 150 mm, a height of 300 mm and a length of 3000 mm. Cold joints are formed by three different methods. While the first two of them are in the middle of the beam, that is, at an angle of 45 and 90° with the horizontal in the constant moment region, the last one continues along the beam length at the level of the beam half height. All cold joint joints were obtained as a result of two separate batches of concrete with 24-hour intervals. In order to clearly reveal the bending behavior of reinforced concrete beams with different types of cold joints, a reference beam produced from a monolithic batching is also included in the study. In addition, the effects of the adherence enhancer mortar usage in cold joints on the bending behavior of RC beams were also investigated. For this purpose, two identical specimens of each sample were produced for different joint types and adherence enhancer mortar “MasterBrace ADH 1420” was applied to the cold joint surfaces before the second concrete batching in one sample.

Uranium extraction from natural seawater and wastewater are quintessential requirements to supply uninterrupted carbon-free nuclear energy and to prevent potential radiochemical and toxicological effects, respectively. Owing to the complexity and low-concentration uranium of these water samples, the design and synthesis of sorbent materials for uranium extraction with meaningful efficiencies remains a grand challenge. Herein, we reported a novel three-dimensional bifunctional network of hyperbranched poly(amidoxime-ethyleneimine) (PAO-h-PEI) using PEI as the skeleton material via cyanoethylation, crosslinking and then amidoximation. As a result of the synergistic supramolecular strategy, the PAO-h-PEI membrane achieved a remarkable adsorption capacity of 985.7 mg/g for aqueous uranium solution, which was 2.5 folds that of the monofunctional h-PEI membrane (387.6 mg/g). The PAO-h-PEI membrane also exhibited good selectivity towards uranium in the presence of various metal ions, high-content salt, and natural organic matter as well as common anions. According to the XPS and FTIR results, the utilization of amines as the second ligand enhanced uranyl binding by providing additional coordination sites or by interacting with oxime to force N-OH dissociation. The good reusability (adsorption rate of 93% after six adsorption-desorption cycles) and satisfactory adsorption performance in extracting low-concentration uranium in real seawater demonstrate its practicability.

Haberlerin; %98,5’inde aşının içerdiği maddelerden, %74,3'ünde aşının üretilme şekli ve içeriğinden, %58,7'sinde aşı çalışmasının içinde bulunduğu fazdan, %89,3'ünde aşı çalışmasının hangi yaş aralığında yapıldığından, %65,6'sında aşının ne sıklıkla bağışıklık oluşturduğundan, %82,9'unda aşının doz aralıklarından bahsedilmemiştir.Sonuç: COVID-19 salgını ile mücadelede medyanın haberlerinde uzman görüşlerini daha sık sağlamak ve okuyucularına bilimsel bilgileri iletmek önemli bir sorumluluktur.
