Using anaerobic sludge as anode chamber substrate and simulated phenol pharmaceutical wastewater as anode chamber substrate, S. oneidensis MR-1 was added to two-chamber microbial fuel cells(MFC) in the forms of free cells and immobilized cells, to construct a two-chamber MFC with free cells(MFC2) and immobilized cells(MFC3) for simultaneous treatment of phenol pharmaceutical wastewater. A two-chamber MFC(MFC1) without electrogenic bacteria was used as control group. The effects of the addition form of S. oneidensis MR-1 on the power generation process of the two-chamber MFC were investigated, and the pollutant removal efficiency and microbial community characteristics were analyzed. The results showed that under three cycles of continuous operation, the electricity generation performance and pollutant removal effect of MFC3 system were the best. The maximum output voltage was 633 mV, the maximum power density was 582.7 mW/m2, the open circuit voltage was 835.9 mV, the internal resistance was 398.8 Ω, the average COD removal rate was 82.5%, the average NH4+-N removal rate was 74.1%, the average phenol removal rate was 82.0%, and the average coulombic efficiency was 26.6%. According to high-throughput sequencing results, the abundance of electrogenic bacteria in anode biofilm increased, and the dominant bacteria in anode biofilm were Proteobacteria, Bacteroidota and Firmicutes. Immobilized cell technology has played a role in bioaugmentation of two-chamber MFC, which provides a certain reference value for energy conversion in sewage wastewater, and promotes the synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction.

To reduce the losses caused by major power outages in power systems, a two-stage optimization method for black start of power systems is proposed using a multi-energy microgrid (MEMG) as a black-start source. First, the load-side integrated demand response and the operation characteristics of the electric, thermal, and gas physical energy storage devices in the MEMG are modeled as generalized energy storage. Next, a two-stage optimization model for black start of power systems using the multi-energy microgrid as a black-start source is proposed, with the first stage being the optimization sub-model for non-black-start source restoration path and the second stage being the black-start strategy optimization sub-model considering the power system and the MEMG. Then, a Dijkstra’s algorithm-based solution method for the first stage sub-model and a mixed integer quadratic programming-based solution method for the second stage sub-model are respectively proposed. Finally, a case study of a real regional power system in China is conducted to verify the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed black start optimization method.

ObjectiveTo investigate the status of liver function abnormalities in patients with severe mental disorder (SMD) in Shanghai community, to explore the related factors to abnormal liver function in patients with SMD, and to analyze the effects of the types of mental disorders and medication status on liver function abnormalities.MethodsThe patients with SMD in Jinshan District, Minhang District, Hongkou District and Xuhui District of Shanghai were selected as the research subjects. Questionnaire survey, physical examination and laboratory tests were conducted to obtain their demographic characteristics and liver function indicators such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and total bilirubin (TBil). The types of mental disorders and medication status of patients in Jinshan District were also investigated. Abnormalities in liver function were determined by abnormalities in either ALT or TBil. Binary logistic regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis of the status of abnormal liver function, and the effects of mental disorder types and medication status on liver function were analyzed, simultaneously.ResultsA total of 7 251 patients with SMD were finally included into this study, and the rate of liver function abnormality was 22.7%, of which 694 cases (9.6%) had ALT abnormality and 1 084 cases (14.9%) had TBil abnormality. Univariate analysis showed that the rate of liver function abnormalities was higher in males than that in females (χ2=45.026, P0.05).ConclusionThe detection rate of liver function abnormalities in community-based SMD patients in Shanghai is high, and male, suburban, and accompanied by elevated BMI, BP, blood glucose, and TC are risk factors for liver function abnormalities in patients with SMD. Primary healthcare providers should pay more attention to the liver function of patients with SMD and initiate targeted and tailored prevention, detection and treatment measures.

【Objective】 The Huaibei Plain in central China is a major agricultural production area where winter wheat often experiences drought during its growing season. This study analyses the spatiotemporal variation in drought during the winter wheat growing season in this region. 【Method】 The analysis was based on meteorological data measured from 1957 to 2018. We used the crop water deficit index (CWDI) during the wheat growing season as a proxy for drought, analysing its inter-annual variation, spatial distribution, fluctuation patterns, occurrence rates, and spatial frequency distribution across different areas in the region. 【Result】 ① Throughout the wheat growing season, ten-day water demand and water supply both showed an initial decrease followed by an increase. Effective precipitation per ten-day period was less than 10 mm, while soil-surface evaporation increased by 260% from mid-March to late May. ② During the growing season, water supply and demand were balanced in Fuyang, Bengbu, and Mengcheng, but not in Dangshan, Bozhou, and Suzhou. Suzhou had the greatest fluctuation in CWDI, while Bengbu had the least. ③ From 1957 to 2018, drought occurrence during the winter wheat growing season increased by approximately 1.5 times, with 2010 experiencing the most widespread and severe droughts. ④ Spatially, drought severity increased from the South to the North, with Dangshan, characterized by fluvo-aquic soil, experiencing more severe droughts than areas with Shajiang Mollisol. Over time, the center with high-frequency of moderate drought shifted northward toward Bozhou and Suzhou. Extreme droughts were rare in this region. 【Conclusion】 Drought severity during the winter wheat growing season in the Huaibei Plain has increased from 1957 to 2018. Water supply and demand are imbalanced in regions such as Dangshan and Suzhou, where supplemental irrigation is needed.

In this paper, taking the key sandy shoreline of Zhongjieshan Islands Marine Reserve as an example, considering Shapu Beach and Ercunxiao beach on Qingbang Island, and Dongjihou Beach on Miaozihu Island, the coupling mathematical model of wave, tidal current and sediment is established to study the erosion risk in key shoreline sections and understand the evolution of the shoreline. During the research, the model is verified by using the measured tide level and tidal current observation data in the sea area where the study area is located to ensure the suitability of the model. The data include tidal level data at one tidal station and complete flow velocity and direction observations of six temporary tidal current stations during the period from December 3 to December 11, 2019, which includes both spring tides and neap tides. The coastal erosion risk of the key sandy section is analyzed by numerical simulations of the evolution trend of the underwater terrain under the extreme wind and wave conditions with the return period of once every ten years. The dynamic equilibrium shoreline morphology of Shapu Beach, Ercunxiao Beach and Dongjihou Beach is calculated by using the parabolic model of the shoreline, and the long-term erosion and deposition trend of the sandy beaches is predicted. The results show that under the simulated wave conditions, all three beaches are eroded, and the size of erosion is 30 m3 at Shapu Beach, 39 m3 at Ercunxiao Beach and 86 m3 at Dongjihou Beach, respectively. It is suggested that sand recruitment should be carried out manually after such dynamic processes (such as typhoon wave) occur. The prediction results of Shapu Beach shoreline and parabolic model are basically consistent, thus the beach is in a relatively dynamic equilibrium state, while the parabolic models of Ercunxiao Beach and Dongjihou Beach predict the shoreline to be at the land-side of the current shoreline, thus the beach shoreline is in a dynamic adjustment and is likely to be eroded, so it is recommended to carry out targeted monitoring regularly.

This study aimed to elucidate the effects and potential mechanisms of dioscin on chronic prostatitis (CP) in vivo and in vitro. CP models were constructed in vivo and in vitro and treated with different concentrations of dioscin. Hematoxylin and eosin staining was used to investigate the morphology of the prostate tissues. The concentration of inflammatory factors in prostate tissues was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The release of reactive oxygen species, malondialdehyde, superoxide dismutase, and catalase was measured using detection kits. P69 cell proliferation was assessed by 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide. Furthermore, the activity of the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway was determined by quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction or Western blot assay. Histopathological data suggested that dioscin exerted protective effects against prostate morphological changes. Dioscin inhibits inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress (OS) in prostate tissues in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, dioscin notably inhibited the activation of the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in CP rats. In vitro, dioscin remarkably reduced lipopolysaccharide-induced P69 proliferation, inflammation, OS, and TLR4/NF-κB pathway activation in a dose-dependent manner. In conclusion, dioscin exerts a protective effect in CP by decreasing the inflammatory response and OS through the TLR4/NF-κB pathways. Our findings provide a novel latent therapy for dioscin for the treatment and prevention of CP.

In this study, the strong law of large numbers and the convergence rate for weighted sums of non-identically distributed widely orthant dependent random variables are established. As applications, the strong consistency for weighted estimator in nonparametric regression model and the rate of strong consistency for least-squares estimator in multiple linear regression model are obtained. Some numerical simulations are also provided to verify the validity of the theoretical results.

To assess the feasibility of percutaneous pedicle screw fixation assisted by a fully automated orthopedic robotic system for the treatment of isthmic spondylolisthesis and evaluate its early postoperative outcome. Totally 20 patients with isthmic spondylolisthesis who underwent surgical procedure by the same medical group from March 2020 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, including 10 patients in the robot-assisted group (RA group) and the other 10 patients in the conventional free-hand technique group (FH group). Accuracy of screw insertion was determined using the Gertzbein-Robbins Scale. The accuracy of the novel robotic system was evaluated by comparing the screw position in the preoperative planning and measuring the entry point deviation distance and the trajectory rotation. The differences in operative time, intraoperative blood loss, radiographic fluoroscopy time and fluoroscopic dosage, and length of hospital stay were compared between the two groups. The lumbar visual analog scale scores before and 7 days after operation were analyzed to evaluate the improvement of low back pain as the early postoperative outcome. A total of 84 pedicle screws were placed. In the RA group, 97.5% of screws were Grade A, and 2.5% were Grade B. In the FH group, 88.6% of screws were Grade A, 9.1% were Grade B, and 2.3% were Grade C. No statistical difference was found in the operation time between two groups. The RA group showed a significant reduction in intraoperative blood loss, radiographic fluoroscopy time and fluoroscopic dosage, and length of hospital stay compared to the FH group. The low back pain in both groups was significantly improved after the operation. The novel orthopedic robotic system-assisted percutaneous pedicle screw fixation, with accurate intraoperative screw placement, less surgical damage, less fluoroscopy and shorter length of hospital stay, can be safe and effective for the surgical treatment of isthmic spondylolisthesis.

【Objective】 Drought is a significant abiotic stress affecting agricultural production in many regions of China. This study investigates the spatiotemporal variations in drought during the growing seasons of summer maize in the Huaibei Plain. 【Method】 The analysis was based on the drought severity index (DSI) from 2010 to 2019 calculated using metrological data measured from weather stations across the region. We focused on the top 0-10 cm soil layer and the root zone from the soil surface to the depth of 50 cm. The M-K test and the Kriging spatial interpolation were used to analyze the spatiotemporal variation in droughts over the region at different time scales. 【Result】 ① Since 2016, the severity and frequency of droughts have both significantly increased in the areas of Dangshan, Mengcheng, and Qiaocheng, while decreased in the area of Fuyang. In Suzhou, droughts mainly occurred in 2010—2012 and 2019. Compared to seasonal scale, some drought events exhibited greater severity and higher frequency at the ten-day scale with unpredictable onset. ②The highest average annual drought index and frequency both occurred during the sowing-emergence stage, reaching moderate level or above, with the frequencies exceeding 40%. Severe droughts or worse at both timescales occurred in northern Dangshan and central Mengcheng and Suzhou. The frequency of the 0-10 cm soil-layer droughts was higher in the southwest, while the frequency of 0-50 cm soil-layer droughts was higher in the east and north than in other areas. ③ At the ten-day scale, the periods with the highest drought severity in each growing season mostly started in the early stage of sowing - emergence, emergence - jointing, and the mid-stage of jointing - tasseling. Severe droughts occurred primarily in August and September. 【Conclusion】 Since 2016, there has been a significant increase in drought severity and frequency for summer maize in the Huaibei Plain, particularly during the sowing seedling stage. Severe droughts were observed at uncertain ten-day scales, with increased drought frequency.

The genus Impatiens exhibits some varied floral features with a dichogamous reproductive system, in which pollination biology plays a key role in speciation and adaptive evolution. China is one of the centers of Impatiens species, including a large number of endemic and sympatric distributions, but there are few data on their pollination biology. Comparative pollination biology of two Chinese endemic and sympatric species, Impatiens corchorifolia and I. cyathiflora, were investigated, including flowering phenology, floral features, pollinators, behavior of pollinators, and as well as breeding systems. The results were as follows: (1) Morphology of spur was varied in two species, which played a key role in different floral syndromes. The spurs in I. corchorifolia and I. cyathiflora could produced a similar nectar sugar content, (45.48 ± 2.28)% and (46.12 ± 1.48)%, respectively. They could share two pollinators, Apis cerana and Vespa. However, the short spur in I. corchorifolia produced less amount of (4.57 ± 1.43) μL nectar while the long spur in I. cyathiflora yielded more nectar content of (10.15 ± 3.28) μL. And then, the latter also could be pollinated by the other insects including one species of Macroglossum and two species of Bombus. (2) The behavior of the common pollinators shared in I. corchorifolia and I. cyathiflora were obviously distinguished by their staggered flower visits and differential sizes of flower channels for visitors with inconsistent positions of pollens carried. (3) Breeding system experiments showed that species possessed obvious hybridization barriers and obvious cross-pollination. Thus, significant differences in spur morphology lead to distinct pollination syndrome differentiation and different pollinator behavior. Both species prefer cross-pollination to self-fertiliation, which greatly depend on the effective pollinators. Reproductive isolation could be maintained by different flower visiting behavior of shared pollinators, differences in floral morphology, and heterozygous discordance. It provides new evidence for a better understanding the relationships between pollination syndrome, pollinators behavior, and cross-breeding stystem in Impatiens.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the extraction solvent and compare the distribution of functional ingredient and antioxidant activities in different parts of Penthorum chinense pursh. Methods: the total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, antioxidant capacity and individual phenolic compounds content in Penthorum chinense pursh were determined and analyzed. Results: The total phenolic content, total flavonoid content increased and then decreased with the increase of solvent concentration. The seven main phenolic compounds （catechin, rutin, pinocembrin-7-O-glucoside, quercetin, kaempferol, pinocembrin and thonningianin A）, ABTS radical scavenging ability, and ferric ion reduction ability were the highest in 80% ethanol extract. The contents of total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, ABTS radical scavenging ability, DPPH radical scavenging ability and ferric ion reducing ability of different parts of Penthorum chinense pursh were flower > leaves > stem. The total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, antioxidant capacity of flower and stem decreased significantly with the increasing of storage time, while leaves were relatively stable. In addition, the antioxidant activities of Penthorum chinense pursh were significantly positively correlated with total phenolic content, catechin, isoquercetin, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside, afzelin, and pinocembrin-7-O-glucoside （P < 0.01）. Conclusion: 80% ethanol appears the most effective for polyphenol extraction in Penthorum chinense pursh, and the leaves have the great potential for development and utilization with high content and stable antioxidant activity.

TCGH(TC4+GH4169)composite material was prepared by selective laser melting(SLM). The optimum forming process parameters of TCGH composite material were investigated, and the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-deposited samples and heat-treated samples were studied. The results show that the optimum process parameters for fabrication of TCGH composite material are scanning speed of 900 mm/s with laser power of 150 W, and density higher than 99.5%. The addition of GH4169 powder changes the solid phase transformation behavior of TC4 titanium alloy material, and the as-deposited structure shows obvious high temperature solidification characteristics, which makes the forming characteristics of progressive scanning overlap and layer-by-layer scanning accumulation obvious. The original coarse columnar β grain size along the printing direction is significantly reduced, and the tensile strength of the composite is improved. Compared with the as-deposited sample, the microstructure of the heat-treated sample is transformed into a near-equiaxed structure. At the same time, with the increase of heat treatment temperature, the dissolution of the second phase leads to the dominant solid solution strengthening effect of the composite material, which improves the tensile strength and plasticity of the composite material.

ObjectiveTo conduct a bibliometric visual analysis of studies on Enterococcus faecium， Staphylococcus aureus， Klebsiella pneumoniae， Acinetobacter baumannii， Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter species （ESKAPE） in the past 10 years at home and abroad， and to analyze current research status and future research directions in this field based on the concept of “One health”.MethodsRelated literature on ESKAPE drug resistant bacteria from 2013 to 2022 was searched on CNKI and WoS， respectively. Furthermore， a metrological visualization analysis of authors， source of agencies， countries， and keywords was conducted by the CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software.ResultsA total of 2 991 pieces of Chinese-language and 24 497 pieces of English-language literature were included in this study. Although the number and growth rate of English-language publications were higher than those of Chinese-language publications， the number of English-language papers authored by Chinese scholars showed a significant upward trend. The level of collaboration between authors and institutions in Chinese-language publications was weaker than that in English-language publications. Overall， the country with the highest number of publications was the United States （6 623）， followed by China （3 776）. However， China’s annual publication volume （851） exceeded that of the United States （600） in 2022. China had collaborations with 25 countries， indicating good global cooperation， but its level of international cooperation was still slightly weaker than that of the United States. High-frequency keywords in Chinese-language literature mainly included drug resistance， nosocomial infection， and antibiotics， while high-frequency keywords in English-language literature included Staphylococcus aureus， Klebsiella pneumoniae， and methicillin-resistant.ConclusionCarbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae， carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae， and "One health" are research hotspots. In the future， cross-sectoral and multi-regional collaboration should be deepened to strengthen the control of infections of important drug-resistant bacteria， and infection treatment strategies should be optimized as well.

A strain D5 with excellent partial denitrification performance was screened from paddy soil. The bacteria were identified as Klebsiella pneumoniae by morphological observation and 16S r DNA sequence analysis. The denitrification ability of strain D5 under different environmental factors （carbon source，C/N ratio and temperature） were investigated using single-factor experiments. The results showed that various environmental factors had obvious influence on partial denitrification of strain D5. The optimal conditions for partial denitrification activity of strain D5 were carbon source of sodium citrate， C/N ratio of 3，temperatures of 25 ℃ and 35 ℃. The results showed that strain D5 had excellent partial denitrification performance，and the optimal partial denitrification effect could be achieved by regulating environmental conditions.

In extreme scenarios， load aggregators may control the market to rake in excess profits. To address this， this paper proposes a market power assessment method for load aggregators considering multiple uncertainties under ice disasters. Firstly， the universal generating function （UGF） is used to describe uncertainties of faults on overhead lines and wind turbines under ice disasters. Secondly， by aggregating standard probabilistic functions of various uncertainties， the paper proposes a market power assessment operator to construct a market power assessment model for load aggregator nodes. Finally， based on the results of the clearance model， a spatiotemporal market power index system is constructed to identify key load aggregators with high market power levels and the corresponding critical periods. Case study results demonstrate that this method effectively quantifies the market power levels of load aggregators under ice disasters， and that load aggregators in regions with higher loads are more likely to exercise market power during severe icing periods.

The taxonomy of Paphiopedilum Pfitz. has been disputed and needs more data for clarification. Floral morphology and anther development in P. purpuratum were observed using microscope and paraffin section. The results were as follows: (1) It was supported that P. purpuratum should be placed in Paphiopedilum subgenus Paphiopedilum sect. Barbata by some floral features, including a single flower, sepal white with veins, petal spotted with blackish-maroon, pouch of a lip auriculate on both sides, and a staminode lunate. (2) At the early stage, anther primordium developed into a pair of laterally juxtaposed thecae. An incomplete sterile septa was differentiated in the center of each theca, giving rise to two arc-shaped microsporangia. When anther split, the sterile septum was discomposed and degenerated resulting in a mass of sticky pollens from two pollen sacs were fused into a unit. (3) The developed anther wall consisted of an epidermis, an endothecium, a middle layer, and a tapetum, conforming to the monocotyledonous type. Both tapetum and the inner tapetum cells contained 2 nuclei. At the stage of 2-celled grains, degeneration occurred in the epidermis and tapetum layers, while the endothecium became thickened fibrously. (4) Microspore mother cells underwent a simultaneous cytokinesis resulting in microspore tetrads with varied arrangements of tetrahedral, isobilateral, and decussate types, and the meiotic activity of microspore mother cells in the same theca was obviously asynchronous and different meiosis phases could be observed. (5) Microspores produced 2-celled pollens via a mitosis, which could be retained in pollen tetrads or released as monad. Based on the data available, some key features are selected for taxonomy and conservation biology of Paphiopedilum in Cypripedioideae, including the differentiation of incomplete sterile septum, the monocotyledonous type of anther wall, the binucleated tapetum, differentiation of the inner tapetum, simultaneous cytokinesis, the sticky pollens, and so on. This study provides new information for taxonomy and conservation biology of Paphiopedilum, as well as of Cypripedioideae.

The genus Habenaria exhibits a highly diversity in floral morphology and has complex taxonomy problems. In order to select key taxonomic features of this genus, floral structure and gynostemium ultrastructure of H. dentata and H. glaucifolia were investigated using the stereo microscope and scanning electronic microscope (SEM). The results were as follows: (1) There were significant differences in floral features between species, especially in the presence or the absence of lateral lobes of petal, morphology of 3-lobed lip, and the length ratio of the spur to the ovary. (2) The ultrastructures of gynostemium were obviously different between the two species, which were shown in shapes of staminode, outer epidermal cells of anther wall, and stigma branch. (3) Exine sculptures of massula were distinguished in two species, the reticulate type in H. dentata, and the baculate → reticulate type in H. glaucifolia. It was suggested that some floral features were selected as potentially valuable for species delimitation, including the presence or absence of lateral petal lobes, variations in spur morphology, the length ratio of the spur to the ovary, and the types of pollen exine sculpture. Additional data on floral features and ultrastructures of gynostemium were reported as supplement for understanding of H. glaucifolia. Notably, it was not confirmed that H. glaucifolia should be treated as an independent genus from Habenaria.

There are few data on the rare and endangered orchids of Renanthera Lour. Floral morphology and embryological features of anther development in R. imschootiana were investigated, and the taxonomic significance of R. imschootiana was analyzed by comparing with existing data. The results were as follows: (1) Flowers were characterized by such taxonomic features as tri-lobed labium with an unconspicous spur, cylindrical column, purple anther cap with yellow stripes, and a pair of deeply cleft pollinia connected by a well-developed stipe and a viscidium. (2) Anther primordium was differentiated into two lateral thecae containing two densely dyed microsporangia, and then, a sterile septum was formed longitudinally and unequally which divided each microsporangium into two jointly sub-microsporangium. The septum became absorbed during microsporogenesis and collapsed when anther ripened, resulting in a pair of deeply cleft pollinia. (3) The developed anther wall comprised 5-6 layers, including an epidermis, 2-3 endothecium, a middle layer, and a tapetum, which conformed to the massive type. Tapetal cell was uni-nucleated and glandular. (4) Microspore mother cells underwent a simultaneous cytokinesis during meiosis resulting in the tetrahedral or isobilateral microspore tetrads. Finally, each microspore retained in tetrads and produced 2-celled pollen via mitosis. Pollen tetrads were compactly arranged, leading to a hard cleft pollinia in each thecae. No pollen abortion was observed during anther development. The results provide new reference for taxonomy and conservation of Renanthera.

【Objective】 The inverted siphon tunnel in big long-distance open channel spanning across a river is a critical hydraulic infrastructure. Investigating the mechanisms and strategies for addressing the unsteady flow during transition from the pressurized tunnel to the non-pressurized diffusion section of the open channel is essential to safeguarding water delivery and optimizing flow capacity. 【Method】 Using the principles of flow similarity and boundary layer control theory, this study focuses on the transition section at a large water transfer siphon outlet. Through hydraulic model testing, it examines the boundary layer separation, derived backflow interference, mainstream instability, and flow fluctuations in the diffusion section. We also investigate three additional turbulent effects resulting from unfavorable flow patterns. 【Result】 ① The boundary layer separation in the diffusion section leads to the entrainment of a significant number of vortices by the main flow, resulting in an increased energy consumption and the superposition of derived waves. These phenomena disrupt the smooth flow in the diffusion section. ②Introducing diversion piers in the diffusion section effectively suppresses boundary layer separation, eliminates vortex shedding, and mitigates side backflow in the confluence area. This leads to a substantial improvement in wave dissipation, reducing wave intensity at the end of the diffusion section from 1.11 to 0.2 m. Furthermore, it straightens the flow path within the diffusion section. 【Conclusion】 Installing diversion piers in the diffusion section is highly effective in eliminating vorticity and reducing wave interference. Specifically, B-type diversion piers prove to be superior in optimizing flow patterns and reducing energy consumption while ensuring a well-balanced flow velocity distribution. These research findings hold significant practical value for design and renovation of large-scale water transfer projects.

Air traffic is exhibiting the characteristics of large flow, strong coupling, and high time variation. To ensure its smooth, efficient, safe, and reliable operation, an intelligent model for air traffic management that features digitalization, automation, and collaboration needs to be developed. This study reviews the current and future demand for air traffic management and analyzes the challenges faced by traditional air traffic management from the aspects of traffic control, airspace management, and flow control. It also summarizes four basic scientific problems: interaction mechanism and mode between aircraft and air control infrastructure, air– ground coordinated control of aircraft intervals based on acceptable risks, airspace operation modeling and optimization considering multiple factors and based on non-uniform rules, and evolution mechanism and congestion propagation features of high-density air traffic flow. Moreover, it is suggested to integrate the application of satellite Internet, big data, digital twin, cloud computing, and other frontier technologies, and build an intelligent management technology system for air traffic from the aspects of aircraft, airspace, control decision-making, and operation, thereby laying a technical foundation for the construction of a next-eneration air traffic management system.

[Objective] Copper has a wide range of applications in new energy vehicles, electric power, communication, and other fields, and is a key metal that cannot be replaced in the process of energy transformation. China is the world’s largest copper consumer and demand country, and its industrial chain and supply chain security issues are increasingly prominent, therefore it is important to scientifically evaluate the resilience of its copper resources industrial chain and supply chain. [Methods] This study constructed a comprehensive evaluation indicator system for the resilience of China’s copper resources industrial chain and supply chain from four dimensions of resilience: resistance, recovery capacity, reorganization capacity, and renewal capacity, combined with the characteristics of the copper resources industry. The independence-adjusted entropy weight method was used to evaluate the resilience of the copper resources industrial chain and supply chain from 2000 to 2021, and the indicator barrier degree model and indicator contribution degree model were applied to identify the main factors that affect the improvement of resilience. [Results] The study found that: (1) From 2000 to 2021, the resilience of China’s copper resources industrial chain and supply chain showed a fluctuating upward trend, which was more rapid after 2012; (2) The lack of resistance was the main factor that led to the slow improvement of resilience, while the improvement of renewal capacity and recovery capacity was the main path to improving the overall resilience; (3) The coordination degree of resistance, recovery capacity, reorganization capacity, and renewal capacity fluctuated and increased after 2010, which contributed to the above-average resilience of the industrial chain and supply chain. [Conclusion] China should continue to improve the level of renewal capacity and recovery capacity of the copper resources industry, facilitate the integration of industry, academia, and research, and accelerate the transformation of scientific research results; reduce the negative impact of lack of resistance, identify the risks of chain breakage, strengthen the assessment and early warning of risks, and improve the secondary recovery rate of copper resources; collaborate in all aspects of the industrial chain and talent chain, and inject green kinetic energy into the industrial chain and supply chain.

Ecological monitoring is an important part of environmental protection. To monitor the movement and abundance of animals in the airspace, an Aerial Ecological Monitoring System (AEMS) is developed by CMA Meteorological Observation Center for China's next-generation weather radar (CINRAD) network. Characteristics of weather radar clear air echo data and airborne biological scattering data are studied to identify biological echoes through fuzzy logic algorithm, and the system can monitor real-time ecological activities of insects such as biological density, migration path and space-time distribution.Weather Radar Airborne Ecological Monitoring System has been put into trial operation since May 2022. During the real-time monitoring period, it's found that the insect activity shows obvious spatial and temporal distribution characteristics. From August to September, pests are of large quantity and wide range, indicating urgent need of insect disaster prevention and control. In May, June, September, and October, insect activity gradually increases from 2000 BT every day, reaches its peak from 2200 BT to 2300 BT, gradually decreases thereafter, and disappears mostly by 0600 BT. In July and August, insect activity gradually increases from 2000 BT every day, with a peak from 2100 BT to 2200 BT. Insect activity begins during the daytime, increases at 0600 BT, becomes more frequent at 1300 BT, and gradually decreases thereafter. From May to July, there is a significant shift from south to north (i.e., northward migration process), and in late August, it quickly changes into a to southward migration. The southward migration process of insects is larger and more numerous than the northward migration process. It's verified that the system can effectively monitor real-time aerial ecology, providing technology and data support for precise pest control.However, characteristics of pests need further research and clear distribution of pests is an urgent need. Therefore, in-depth research will be carried out on aerial ecological classification technology, combined with other direct observation means such as real-time monitoring by drones to explore the relationship between radar detection and different pests, and improve the ability to identify different kinds of insects.

In order to study the mechanical response and failure characteristics of sandstone at the meso level, this paper first carried out indoor rock compression test and PFC2D uniaxial macro-meso parameter correlation numerical test based on parallel bond model.Then, the trial-and-error method is used to determine the order of the influence degree of each mesoscopic parameter on the macroscopic mechanical index, and the interaction analysis of significant factors is carried out.Finally, the regression analysis is used to establish the functional relationship between macroscopic and mesoscopic parameters.The main influencing factors of crack evolution and failure mode of rock samples are studied by using the control variable method.The results show that: ①The uniaxial compressive strength σc has a complex nonlinear relationship with parallel cohesion c, bond normal strength σc and bond internal friction angle φ.; ② Elastic modulus E has a polynomial relationship with bond modulus E * and bond stiffness ratio k *; ③ Poisson's ratio v is linear with k * and friction coefficient μ; ④The tensile strength σt has a good linear relationship with c and σc.; ⑤The crack evolution and failure mode of rock samples are mainly affected by the bond strength ratio σc/c, which is negatively correlated with the number of tensile cracks and positively correlated with the number of shear cracks. With σc/c increases, the failure mode of rock samples is characterized by tensile failure-conjugate failure-shear failure.The evolution law and failure form of uniaxial compression σ-ε in laboratory test and numerical simulation are basically the same.

Water is the most active and critical factor in the socio-economic system, and the scale of greenhouse gas emissions accompanying water withdrawal and treatment is increasing. It is important to study the energy consumption and carbon emission of the social water cycle system to promote the achievement of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. This study summarizes the current status of energy consumption and carbon emissions in the social water cycle from the perspective of water ‒ energy‒ carbon nexus. Based on the analysis of change trends and influencing factors and focusing on existing problems and challenges, it proposes strategies for the efficient and low-carbon development of the social water cycle system under the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality targets. China’s social water cycle system is developing toward an energy-intensive direction. The carbon emission intensity in water supply and drainage sectors increased the most, with an increase of 23.3% and 78.6% respectively from 2009—2021. With the increase of the scale of unconventional water and inter-basin water transfer, the energy consumption and carbon emission of the water system will continue to increase in the future, and the challenge of carbon neutrality is daunting. The study recommends that (1) basic scientific research should be strengthened and a carbon accounting system should be built for the whole process of social water cycle, (2) the research and development of system configuration and low-carbon technologies should be promoted to improve the comprehensive capabilities for pollution and carbon reduction as a whole, (3) energy conservation should be promoted in the whole society to realize the dual conservation of water and energy, and (4) carbon emission management in the water system should be improved to realize the low-carbon development of the social water cycle.

The upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River is an important region in China characterized by ongoing conflicts regarding water resources, food, and energy. To achieve high-quality development of the region, it is essential to identify water, food, and energy security risks and propose corresponding measures. This study examines the basic implications of water-food-energy coordinated development and analyzes the new situation, opportunities, and challenges associated with the coordinated development of water, food, and energy in the region. Focusing on the goals of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, the study proposes a strategic framework for coordinating water, food, and energy development. It further proposes the following suggestions: (1) maximizing the utilization of water resources, (2) taking the energy industry as a pillar industry of the region and enhancing energy production efficiency, (3) ensuring food security by strengthening water support, (4) minimizing the negative impacts of food and energy development on water resources and ecology, and (4) innovating technological and institutional approaches to guarantee water, food, and energy security.

Objective To explore the relationship between degree of differentiation and time of differentiation of nucleus pulposus-like urine-derived stem cells (NP-USC) and the effects of human urine-derived stem cell exosomes (USC-EXO) on the proliferation and differentiation of NP-USC. Methods Nucleus pulposus cells (NPC) and urine-derived stem cells (USC) were extracted, identified, and cultured. According to the co-cultivation time, the cells were divided into group A (after 7 d of co-culture, the NP-USC were cultured in exosome-free USC medium for 14 d), group B (after 14 d of co-culture, the NP-USC were cultured in exosome-free USC medium for 7 d), group C (USC were cultured alone for 21 d), and NPC group (NPC were cultured alone for 21 d). Quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) and Western blot were used to measure the mRNA and protein expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α), glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1), type Ⅱ collagen (COL2), and proteoglycan (ACAN) in the five groups. The cells in the five groups were cultured in exosome-free USC medium for 28 d, and CCK-8 was used to detect the cell proliferation on day 7, 14, 21, and 28. Results RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed that the relative mRNA and protein expression levels of HIF-1α, GLUT1, COL2, and ACAN increased sequentially in groups USC, A, B, and C (t=53.36-371.86,P0.05). There was no significant difference in the relative expression levels of the four genes in the cells of the five groups after adding USC-EXO (P>0.05). The results of CCK-8 showed that the cell viability decreased sequentially in groups USC, A, B, and C at each time point (F=3.77-103.58,P0.05). 【Objective】 Winter wheat in Huaibei plain experiences temporal water stress during its growing season. This paper investigates the characteristics and trends of the droughts in attempts to help improve agricultural management in this region. 【Method】 Soil in the studied region is Shajiang black soil. Soil moisture measured from 1986 to 2018 was used to analyze the key soil layers that influence wheat yield and to calculate the drought severity index (DSI). The Mann Kendall test and sliding T-test were used to analyze the drought trends and compare the characteristics of drought before and after sudden temperature changes. 【Result】 From 1986 to 2018, the wheat experienced mild and moderate droughts during the sowing-emergence stage, and it only encountered one severe drought. From the dormancy stage to heading stage, only mild and moderate droughts were identified. During the maturity stage, three droughts and five extreme droughts were recorded. From 2007 to 2012, the frequency of drought was declining in the sowing-emergence stage and dormancy stage. There were no significant changes in drought in other growth stages. Following sudden temperature changes, the frequency and degree of droughts at different growth stages both increased. 【Conclusion】 A sudden temperature change resulted in an increase in drought frequency and intensification of extreme drought. Future work should focus on improving irrigation during the maturity stage and timely replenishing soil moisture to mitigate the impact of extreme droughts.

Grain-preferred orientation significantly influences the brittle fracture mechanism and failure mode of crystalline rocks. However, current grain-based models (GBMs) based on particle flow code (PFC) software are mostly proposed on the basis of the Voronoi tessellation method for grain boundary generation, which is difficult to simulate the heterogeneity of microstructure such as shape and orientation of rock minerals. To study the effect of grain-preferred orientation on macroscopic mechanical properties and microscopic characteristics of crystalline rocks, a novel grain-based microstructure transformation method (MTM) is proposed. Based on the MTM, a GBM with a target aspect ratio and crystal orientation is obtained by transforming the Voronoi crystal geometry through a planar coordinate mapping. Specifically, embedded FISH language is used to control random mineral seed size and distribution pattern to generate Tyson polygons. A polygon geometry that satisfies the rock texture is obtained as a grain boundary by spatially transforming the vertex of the Tyson polygon. The transformed complex geometry is taken as the crystal structure of the GBM, and the Lac du Bonnet granite models with different aspect ratios and crystal orientations were developed in PFC2D. Finally, a series of unconfined compressive strength tests are performed in PFC2D to verify the proposed modeling methods for the geometric variation of the crystals and to study the effects of the preferred orientation of the grains on the macroscopic mechanical properties and microscopic fracture mechanisms of the crystalline rocks from different perspectives.

BackgroundAlcohol use disorder （AUD） is a type of chronic relapsing brain disorder. Genetic factors play an important role in the pathogenesis of AUD. And screening for molecular markers of AUD is of great significance for further elucidating the pathogenesis of the disease， discovering novel therapeutic targets and preventing relapse.ObjectiveTo explore relevant hub genes and potential signal pathways associated with the development of AUD through bioinformatics analysis， and to provide a new direction for the prevention and treatment of AUD.MethodsThe GSE161986 dataset was acquired from the Gene Expression Omnibus （GEO） database. The limma package in R was utilized to identify differentially expressed genes （DEGs）. Gene set enrichment analysis （GSEA） was carried out using the Database for Annotation， Visualization and Integrated Discovery （DAVID）. A protein–protein interaction （PPI） network of DEGs was assessed using the STRING database and visualized by Cytoscape software. Finally， hub genes were validated in GSE44456 dataset.ResultsA total of 114 DEGs were identified. GSEA revealed that these genes were mainly involved in the regulation of signal transduction， protein binding， membrane trafficking and MAPK signaling pathway. PPI network and validation study indicated that GAD1， TIMP1 and CD44 were potential hub genes involved in AUD.ConclusionAberrant expression of GAD1 and TIMP1 as well as MAPK signaling pathway may play a key role in the pathogenesis of AUD， and may serve as potential molecular targets for the diagnosis and treatment of AUD. ［Funded by "Flying Project" of Shanghai Mental Health Center （number， 2022-FX-01）］

An improved D* algorithm was proposed to solve the problems of low efficiency and complex inflection points in three-dimensional path autonomous planning of unmanned aerial vehicle using traditional D* algorithm. Firstly, variable step size was used to expand nodes, which speeded up the algorithm's traversal of nodes in the planning stage. At the same time, the fusion formula of Chebyshev distance and Manhattan distance was used as surrogate value, the cost function was improved, the calculation amount of the algorithm was reduced, and the low efficiency of the algorithm was solved. Finally, the three-dimensional map and the obtained path were projected onto the two-dimensional plane, key nodes were selected, redundant nodes were discarded, and the generated path was optimized. The number of inflection points and complexity of the obtained path were reduced. The simulation results show that the improved D* algorithm can be effectively used in the path planning of unmanned aerial vehicle in the three-dimensional environment, and the expected effect is achieved in terms of accelerating the efficiency of the algorithm and improving the quality of the path.

【Objective】 Regulated irrigation has become a technology widely used in semi-arid regions in northern and northwestern China. Using meta-analysis, this paper analyzes the impact regulated irrigation on yield and irrigation water use efficiency of grapes, based on data obtained from various vineyards in these regions. 【Method】 With sufficient irrigation taken as the control (CK), 316 experimental datasets collected from 59 published studies were used for analysis. Factors that influence the impact of regulated irrigation on grape yield and irrigation water use efficiency were analyzed using regression and subgroup analysis. The optimal irrigation amount for each experiment was calculated using the inverse distance weight method, from which we created an optimal regulated irrigation map for grapes in the regions. 【Result】 Compared with CK, regulated irrigation reduced the grape yield by 710.37 kg/hm2, but increased fruit quality and irrigation water use efficiency by 1.19 kg/m3. The change in irrigation water use efficiency with regulated irrigation varied with grape variety. Red elemental nano-selenium, which is an important biological form of selenium, exhibits very low toxicity and remarkable biological properties and thus has several positive effects. For instance, it shows antioxidation and antistress characteristics, promotes growth and improves immunity. However, owing to its nanoscale size, it is very difficult to disperse and stabilize during synthesis and storage. In this study, nanoscale selenium with a mass content of 2.06% and an average particle size of 49 nm was prepared by the chemical reduction method. The analysis demonstrated that the surface phospholipids formed lamellar structures after directional freezing, and the nano-selenium particles were distributed in the middle of the lamellar. The nano-selenium particles were efficiently dispersed due to their lamellar structure and amphiphilicity. The particles displayed excellent stability and remained relatively unchanged after 20 days of storage in solution or solid state. The difficulties associated with the dispersion and storage stability of nanometer selenium during preparation were solved.

Underground personnel behavior recognition is an important measure to ensure safe production in coal mines. The existing research on behavior recognition of underground personnel lacks research and analysis on the perception mechanism, and the feature extraction method is simple. In order to solve the above problems, a behavior recognition method for underground personnel based on fusion networks is proposed. The method mainly includes three parts: data preprocessing, feature construction, and recognition network construction. Data preprocessing: the collected channel status information (CSI) data is processed through CSI quotient models, subcarrier denoising, and discrete wavelet denoising to reduce the impact of environmental noise and equipment noise. Feature construction: the processed data is transformed into images using the Gramian angular summation/difference fields (GASF/GADF) to preserve the spatial and temporal features of the data. Recognition network construction: according to the features of personnel actions, a fusion network composed of a gate recurrent unit (GRU) based encoding and decoding network and a multiscale convolutional neural network (CNN) is proposed. GRU is used to preserve the correlation between pre and post data. The weight allocation strategy of the attention mechanism is used to effectively extract key features to improve the accuracy of behavior recognition. The experimental results show that the average recognition accuracy of this method for eight movements, namely walking, taking off a hat, throwing things, sitting, smoking, waving, running, and sleeping, is 97.37%. The recognition accuracy for sleeping and sitting is the highest, and the most prone to misjudgment are walking and running. Using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score as evaluation indicators, it is concluded that the performance of the fusion network is superior to CNN and GRU. The accuracy of personnel behavior recognition is higher than the HAR system, WiWave system and Wi-Sense system. The average recognition accuracy of walking and taking off a hat at normal speed is 95.6%, which is higher than 93.6% for fast motion and 92.7% for slow motion. When the distance between transceiver devices is 2 m and 2.5 m, the recognition accuracy is higher.

Recent advances in near-field technology with an ultrahigh spatial resolution breaking optical diffraction limit, make it possible to further identify surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) enhancement theories, and to monitor the SERS substrates. Here we verify the electromagnetic enhancement mechanism for SERS with a close-up view, using scattering-type scanning near-field optical microscopy. The array of metal-insulator-metal (MIM) subwavelength structures is studied, in which the field enhancement comes from the strong coupling between gap plasmon polariton and surface plasmon polariton modes. The near-field optical measurements reveal that SERS enhancement factor (EF) varies from one MIM subwavelength unit to another in a finite array. Besides the enhancement of isolated unit, the loss exchange phenomenon in strong coupling with a large Rabi splitting can give rise to an additional enhancement of more than 2 orders of magnitude in periodic arrays and close to 3 orders of magnitude in finite arrays. The SERS EF of the array composed of only 5 units is demonstrated to yield the best SERS performance. Our near-field optical measurements show evidence that finite-size structures embodied with strong coupling effect are a key way to develop practical high-performance SERS substrates.

In the field of gear fault diagnosis, it is of great significance to effectively diagnose early wear faults of gears. However, early wear fault has weak characteristics and is difficult to diagnose. Thus, a gear early wear fault diagnosis model based on the sparse attention mechanism is proposed to solve this problem. This model uses a new sparse attention mechanism combined with a convolution neural network to improve the traditional sectional attention mechanism and locate the specific fault frequency. The gearbox fault simulation test data is used for test verification. Compared with other diagnosis methods, this new method can achieve a more accurate and comprehensive diagnosis, reduce analysis cost and obtain sensitive fault characteristic frequency under the same sample condition and calculation cost. The conclusion of this method can provide data support for gear maintenance.

ObjectiveTo conduct the sequencing and preliminarily analysis of the whole genome of BCG Shanghai D2PB302 strain （hereinafter referred to as BCG Shanghai D2 strain）， which has been used exclusively for the vaccine production in China.MethodsThe DNA of of BCG Shanghai D2 strain （D2-JIA12-1） was extracted， and the whole genome was sequenced by Pacbio-RS Ⅱ. The sequence data was assembled by Smrtlink and polished with the illumina data. Genes， tRNA and rRNA were predicted based on the sequence data. The functional annotation of predicted genes was performed through BLASTP. The IVE-TB antigen gene and MTBVAC were selected as the target sequences to be compared with Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv （NC_000962.3）.ResultsThe sequence length of BCG Shanghai D2 strain was 4 045 232 bp， and the GC content was 65.66%. A total of 4 259 protein-encoding genes were predicted， with an average gene size of 933 bp. 2 476 genes had biological functions and others were hypothetical proteins.144 virulence genes were obtained by comparing with the VFDB. There were 29 type Ⅶ secretion system genes and 10 PE/PPE protein family genes.ConclusionThe whole genome sequence of BCG Shanghai D2 strain is clarified. It lays a broad foundation for subsequent detection of the stability of major antigen genes.

The polyurea elastomer (PUA) powder modifier was prepared by the method of spraying–initial crushing–fine grinding, and then, the PUA-modified asphalt was produced. The typical functional structure of PUA was identified and characterized. The apparent viscosity of PUA-modified asphalt was tested at different temperatures. The impact of particle size and content of PUA on creep and recovery properties of asphalt at high temperature was investigated through the multiple stress creep recovery test. The mesothermal fatigue behavior of PUA-modified asphalt was evaluated by means of time sweep and linear amplitude sweep. Results indicated that the high elastic properties of PUA materials might depend on the spherical structure inside PUA material. The diameter of functional structure was around 20 µm and presented as 3D ball structure. The increase in PUA particle size would lead to the increase in cracks and folds in the bonding surface PUA modifier could improve by about 50% of the apparent viscosity significantly. Furthermore, PUA modifier could promote the high-temperature rutting resistance and middle-temperature fatigue property of asphalt. The improving effect on R could reach almost 28% and the 0.075 mm could be the best application size of PUA.

Sulfate is quite crucial to influence Tc/Re volatilization during nuclear liquid waste vitrification, but the mechanism of the effect is not yet clear. In this paper, the simplified SiO2-KReO4-K2SO4 system was used to study the effect of sulfate on Re volatilization during vitrification, and the heat-treated samples were characterized with XRD, TG-DSC and ICP-AES. In order to improve the control precision and anti-disturbance performance of the flexible manipulator, a combined control method based on improved active disturbance rejection control and sliding mode control was proposed. Firstly, the dynamic model was constructed by the Lagrange method and assumed mode method, and then the flexible arm was decoupled by singular perturbation theory to obtain the slow-varying and fast-varying subsystems. For the slow-varying subsystem, the improved active disturbance rejection control was used to achieve trajectory tracking, and a new fal function was constructed to solve the problems that the inflection point of the fal function was not smooth, which easily caused the system chattering and the system gain was large when the error was large. At the same time, sliding mode control was used to replace the nonlinear state error feedback control, a new reaching law was adopted in order to improve the control quality of sliding mode control. For fast-varying subsystem, sliding mode control was used for vibration suppression. The Matlab simulation results show that the combined control method has better trajectory tracking performance, anti-disturbance performance and vibration suppression performance than the traditional active disturbance rejection control.

In this paper, the evaluation method of fluidelastic instability (FEI) of newly designed steam generator tubing in pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants is discussed. To obtain the parameters for prediction of the critical velocity of FEI for steam generator tubes, experimental research is carried out, and the design parameters are determined. Using CFD numerical simulation, the tube array scale of the model experiment is determined, and the experimental device is designed. In this paper, 7 groups of experiments with void fractions of 0% (water), 10%, 20%, 50%, 75%, 85% and 95% were carried out. The critical damping ration, fundamental frequency and critical velocity of FEI of tubes in flowing water were measured. Through calculation, the total mass and instability constant of the immersed tube are obtained. The critical damping ration measured in the experiment mainly included two-phase damping and viscous damping, which changed with the change in void fraction from 1.56% to 4.34%. This value can be used in the steam generator design described in this paper and is conservative. By introducing the multiplier of frequency and square root of total mass per unit length, it is found that the difference between the experimental results and the calculated results is less than 1%, which proves the rationality and feasibility of the calculation method of frequency and total mass per unit length in engineering design. Through calculation, the instability constant is greater than 4 when the void fraction is less than 75%, less than 4 when the void fraction exceeds 75% and only 3.04 when the void fraction is 95%.

We propose an all on-chip micro-ring resonator array spectrum detection system (MRRAS). Micro-ring resonator array as the core is used to construct the transmission matrix of the system. The theoretical analysis of the spectrum detection system is completed with waveguide transmission theory and spectrum construction method based on convex optimization algorithm. In the experiment, we obtain the priori information of the transmission matrix of the system, then detect the output intensity of unknown spectrum through MRRAS, and construct the under-determined matrix equations when the number of micro-rings is much smaller than that of reconstructed wavelengths. Convex optimization algorithm is employed to obtain the least norm solution of the under-determined matrix equations, which enables fast spectrum reconstruction. The experimental results show that the spectrum detection system is constructed using three micro-ring resonators with 4 μm radius, enabling the compact footprint. In addition, the silicon nitride based photonic platform is fully compatible with standard complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) processes. The system operating bandwidth is more than 12 nm and the resolution is better than 0.17 nm.

With the help of bolted joints to assemble a complex structure, carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite (CFRP) is widely used in various fields. However, stress concentration around holes at the bolted joints leads to a decrease in bearing capacity. Composites often result in mechanical degradation subjected to a complex hydrothermal environment. Therefore, to study the tensile behavior of CFRP bolted joints subjected to hydrothermal aging, the tensile tests are conducted carefully. The influence of aging time and temperature on tensile strength is investigated based on the response history, strain contour, and failure morphology. The failure mechanism is revealed via digital image correlation technology. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that the bearing capacity of the structure in hydrothermal aging decreases significantly. Compared with the unaged specimens, the peak force of the specimens aged for 6 weeks at 25°C and 65°C is reduced by 22.79% and 35.63%, respectively. Under both the unaged and aged, the same bearing failure is found in the tensile tests of CFRP single-bolt single-lap joints.

For the problem that how the grouting reinforcement of a single penetrated structural plane affects the bearing capacity of surrounding rock, an approach of rock samples preparation with single penetrated fracture surface is proposed firstly, and the rock samples are injected with ultrafine cement and epoxy resin, respectively. Then, the strength and deformation characteristics of the consolidated body under uniaxial (triaxial) compression are investigated with the RMT-150C experimental system. Finally, the micro consolidation mechanism of structural plane grouting is revealed using theoretical analysis and electron microscope scanning. It is found that the fracture surface generated under the triaxial loading-unloading condition is closer to the engineering practice and meets the experimental requirements. The stress−strain characteristic curves of the specimens injected with ultrafine cement show phased deformation characteristics, and the curves of the specimens injected with epoxy resin are relatively smooth. For the strength characteristics, the influence of confining pressure is significantly larger than that of grouting material selection. Grouting reinforcement can improve the residual strength of rock mass. With the increase of confining pressure, the increase of improvement coefficient of residual strength is less obvious, and the peak strength of the consolidated body is closer to that of intact rock. For the failure characteristics, the main fracture surface of the specimen injected with ultrafine cement shears and slips along the original fracture surface, and the main fracture surface of the specimen injected with epoxy resin is a new penetrated fracture surface. Finally, based on the Mohr-Coulomb criterion, the relationship between the bonding force of grouting materials and the strength improvement coefficient of structural plane is established. It is found that the strength improvement coefficient of structural plane has a linear relationship with the bonding force of grout. The comparison between the calculation and test results shows that the formula is reasonable and can provide a reference for the optimization of deep surrounding rock support.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the phenolic compounds profile and antioxidant activities of different fractions of Tartary buckwheat. Methods: Tartary buckwheat was ground and sieved into shell, bran and powder. Phenolic compounds in tartary buckwheat were extracted with 70% ethanol, and phenolic compounds composition and antioxidant activity of the extract were analyzed. Results: In Tartary buckwheat bran, the total phenolics and flavonoids were （3 042±31） mg GAE/100 g·DW and （5 290±233） mg RE/100 g·DW, accounting for 60.8%, 67.7% of the total Tartary buckwheat, respectively. Rutin was the dominant phenolic compounds in bran extract, and the content was （5 152±61） mg/100 g·DW. The extracts of Tartary buckwheat hull, bran and powder all showed antioxidant activities, among which the bran extracts presented the highest antioxidant activities. The ORAC, FRAP, DPPH and ABTS values were (1 503.3±249.5) μmol/g·DW, (8 477.5±441.1) mg TE/100 g·DW, (5 642.4±241.3) mg TE/100 g·DW and (16 764±742) mg TE/100 g·DW, respectively. Conclusion: Bran is the major fraction enriching phenolic compounds which showed elevated antioxidant activities.

Abstract The monitoring of health and the technologies that are related to it are an exciting area of research. The paper proposes a mechanical manufacturing vibration monitoring system that is based on Hilbert‐Huang transformation (HHT) feature extraction to monitor the running state of the spindle of a mechanical numerical control (NC) machine tool of an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine. Real‐time monitoring of the time–frequency characteristic quantity of the spindle vibration signal for ECG signals has been made possible due to the online empirical mode decomposition (EMD) method, which is used to obtain the time–frequency characteristic quantity of the spindle vibration signal based on HHT. The experiment shows that the frequency doubling characteristic components in the time–frequency distribution are obvious in the time interval without copper rod contact, but they disappear in the time interval during which copper rods are in contact (0.3 1.1 s, 3 4s in the figure). It has been demonstrated that the system is capable of not only accurately monitoring the characteristic quantity in the frequency domain of the vibration signal produced by the NC machine tool spindle, but also of successfully implementing the monitoring of the time–frequency characteristic quantity in real time.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that causes chronic airway infection in bronchiectasis patients and is closely associated with poor prognosis. Strains isolated from chronically infected patients typically have a mucoid phenotype due to the overproduction of alginate. In this study, we isolate a P. aeruginosa strain from the sputum of a patient with bronchiectasis and find that a truncated mutation occurred in mucA, which is named mucA117. mucA117 causes the strain to transform into a mucoid phenotype, downregulates the expression of T3SS and inflammasome ligands such as fliC and allows it to avoid inflammasome activation. The truncated mutation of the MucA protein may help P. aeruginosa escape clearance by the immune system, enabling long-term colonization.

ObjectiveTo determine the factors associated with aggressive behaviors of patients with schizophrenia by gender in communities in Shanghai， and further develop and validate the prediction model.MethodsA total of 7 955 community patients with schizophrenia were investigated in Xuhui District， Hongkou District and Jiading District of Shanghai. Baseline information was collected from April 2018 and follow-up was conducted every 3 months for 6 months. Multivariate logistic regression was used to calculate the odd ratio （OR） and 95% CI， and determine the factors associated with aggressive behaviors of patients. The risk score for each patient was developed based on the β coefficient， and the best cut-off value was determined by the Youden index. For the models， predictive ability was determined using area under the curve （AUC） of receiver operator characteristic curve （ROC curve）， and internal validation ability was evaluated by the ten-fold cross validation method.ResultsThere were 3 563 males in this study with an average age of （54.83±13.72） years old， and the incidence of aggressive behaviors was 2.55%.There were 4 392 females with an average age of （57.20±14.98） years， and the incidence of aggressive behaviors was 2.64%. For male patients with schizophrenia， single/divorced status （OR=2.04， 95%CI： 1.15‒3.61）， low economic status （OR=2.79， 95%CI： 1.71‒4.54）， irregular medication （OR=4.35， 95%CI：2.23‒8.47）， no medication （OR=1.83， 95%CI：1.03‒3.26）， incomplete/no insight （OR=1.97， 95%CI：0.99‒3.94）， adverse drug reaction （OR=2.61， 95%CI：1.27‒5.37）， psychiatric symptoms involving violence （OR=2.06， 95%CI：1.01‒4.18）， history of aggression （OR=5.29， 95%CI：2.33‒11.98） and recent stress events （OR=8.36， 95%CI：4.13‒16.92） were associated with aggressive behaviors. In contrast， for female patients， age less than 60 years （50‒59 years， OR=2.09， 95%CI： 1.13‒3.87； 40‒49 years， OR=2.74， 95%CI： 1.46‒5.17； 30‒39 years，OR=2.88， 95%CI： 1.48‒5.60； 18‒29 years， OR=5.71， 95%CI： 2.44‒13.37）， educational level of high school and above （senior high school， OR=3.30， 95%CI： 1.46‒7.49； college and university， OR=2.88， 95%CI： 1.21‒6.82）， unemployed status （OR=1.81， 95%CI=1.17‒2.82）， irregular medication （OR=7.87， 95%CI：4.75‒13.05）， no medication （OR=2.11， 95%CI：1.24‒3.62）， adverse drug reaction （OR=2.75， 95%CI：1.50‒5.04）， psychiatric symptoms involving violence （OR=3.08， 95%CI：1.77‒5.37）， social function （OR=3.51， 95%CI：2.07‒5.94） and recent stress events （OR=5.92， 95%CI： 2.82‒12.44） were risk factors. In both male and female， the prediction models for aggressive behaviors of community patients with schizophrenia had strong predictive ability （AUC=0.779， 95%CI： 0.725‒0.834； AUC=0.822， 95%CI： 0.780‒0.863）.ConclusionThis study suggests that diverse risk factors should be considered for community patients with schizophrenia by gender to prevent the aggressive behaviors.

Rice husk is considered as a waste product of farming. However, rice husk ash (RHA) has a good pozzolanic activity, which can be used in cement-based materials as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM), and it is also suitable for self-compacting concrete (SCC). This study reviews the physical and chemical properties of RHA and the properties of RHA–SCC mixtures such as fresh properties (crucial factors and evaluation methods of workability for fresh SCC), mechanical properties (compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, and modulus of elasticity), and durability (water absorption and sorptivity, acid resistance, chloride penetration resistance, electrical resistivity, and alkali silica reaction). It was observed that the workability of SCC decreases with an increase in the incorporation rate of RHA. An incorporation rate of RHA in the range of approximately 15–20% enhances the mechanical properties and durability of SCC. The incorporation of RHA into SCC can reduce the environmental burden of rice husk treatment, and promote sustainable development of cement industries and reduce the cost of SCC.

Radar beam blockage is an important error source that affects the quality of weather radar data. The S-band dual-polarization radar in Guangzhou has multi-azimuth occlusion at low elevation and is partially occluded at high elevation. Based on deep learning methods such as convolutional neural network, two echo filling networks, i.e., VEF(vertical echo-filling) and HEF(horizontal echo-filling) are constructed. Based on this architecture, echoes from the unblocked area are used to construct training datasets and fill the reflectivity ZH and differential reflectivity ZDR in the occlusion area. For the area with only 0.5° elevation occlusion, multi-modal modeling is carried out based on VEF architecture by using 3D data from multiple upper elevations, radial directions and gates. Considering that the radar beam broadens with distance and to avoid the influence of the melting layer, the radar beam is divided into four sections according to the oblique distance of 0.5° elevation, and the vertical echo-filling model is trained respectively. For the area with high occlusion elevation, multi-mode modeling is carried out based on HEF architecture using the data of multiple adjacent radial directions and gates with the same elevation. According to the number of occlusion radial, two types of horizontal echo-filling models, three radials echo-filling model and five radials echo-filling model are constructed respectively. Finally, the models are evaluated by three cases and three indicators:Explained variance, mean absolute error and correlation coefficient. The maximum explained variance of ZH vertical echo-filling model is 0.91, the minimum mean absolute error is 1.72 dB, and the maximum correlation coefficient is 0.96. The maximum explained variance of ZDR vertical echo-filling model is 0.87, the minimum mean absolute error is 0.12 dB, and the maximum correlation coefficient is 0.92. The maximum explained variance of ZH horizontal fill model is 0.92, the minimum mean absolute error is 1.69 dB, and the maximum correlation coefficient is 0.96. The maximum explained variance of ZDR horizontal echo-filling model is 0.92, the minimum mean absolute error is 0.12 dB, and the maximum correlation coefficient is 0.96. The deep learning echo-filling model can be used to correct the echoes of Guangzhou S-band dual-polarization radar occlusion area effectively, and the quality of weather radar data is improved.
