This study delves into the spatial-temporal dynamics of urban digital advancement and its green economic efficacy through methods like kernel density analysis, exploratory spatial data analysis, Gini coefficient, and coefficient of variation. Utilizing entropy weighting and regression analysis, it investigates the influence of digital development on green economic efficiency. Sustainable development performance (EWS), the volume of green patent applications (Lngrd), and other pivotal control variables are incorporated into a regression framework to elucidate the mechanisms by which digital evolution impacts green economic efficiency. Empirical findings reveal a consistent annual growth rate exceeding 5% across six regions, showcasing the steady progress and substantial achievements in digitalization. However, a wide disparity exists within enterprise digitalization levels, with the maximum digital transformation index at 4.996, a minimum of 0.002, and a median of 0.696, indicating an ongoing uneven development. Digital transformation significantly enhances corporate green technological innovation, evidenced by a coefficient of 0.014. Its effect on sustainability performance is notably more substantial in enterprises with higher equity concentrations (0.004) and greater pollution levels (0.005).

BACKGROUND: The main treatment method for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) is maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). With the continuous improvement of dialysis technology, the survival period of MHD patients has been effectively prolonged, but dialysis technology still cannot completely replace renal function. OBJECTIVE: To study the dietary compliance and its correlation with thirst in MHD patients and to provide guidance for clinical development of corresponding intervention countermeasures. METHODS: A total of 90 patients who received MHD treatment from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as objects. The Renal Adherence Attitudes Questionnaire (RAAQ) and the Renal Adherence Behaviour Questionnaire (RABQ) were used to analyze the dietary compliance and thirst status of patients. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between diet compliance and thirst. RESULTS: Positive correlations were found between VAS and DTI, SXI and TDS (P < 0.05). Social restrictive attitude was positively correlated with VAS, DTI, SXI, TDS, acceptance attitude and compliance in facing difficulties (P < 0.05), and negatively correlated with self-care compliance (r = - 0.35, P < 0.05). Health attitude was positively correlated with VAS, DTI and SXI (P < 0.05). Acceptance attitude was positively correlated with DTI, SXI and TDS (P < 0.05). High RAAQ was associated with high VAS (b = 0.11, 95% CI: 0.05, 0.18), DTI (b = 0.28, 95% CI: 0.17, 0.38), SXI (b = 0.24, 95% CI: 0.14, 0.34) and TDS (b = 0.26, 95% CI: 0.13, 0.4). CONCLUSION: The overall performance of dietary compliance in patients with MHD is at a moderate level, and dietary compliance is negatively correlated with disease perception. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study focuses on the application of nurse‐led multidisciplinary collaborative therapy (MDT) management model for calciphylaxis prevention of patients with terminal renal disease. Through the establishment of a multidisciplinary management team spanning nephrology department, blood purification center, dermatology department, burn and plastic surgery department, infection department, stem cell platform, nutrition department, pain department, cardiology department, hydrotherapy group, dermatology group, and outpatient treatment room, the distribution of duties among team members were clarified to bring out the best advantages of a multidisciplinary teamwork during treatment and nursing. For patients with calciphylaxis symptoms in terminal renal disease, a case‐by‐case management model was carried out with the focus on personalised problem. We emphasised on personalised wound care, precise medication care, active pain management, psychological intervention and palliative care, the amelioration of calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorder, nutritional supplementation, and the therapeutic intervention based on human amniotic mesenchymal stem cell regeneration. The MDT model effectively compensates for traditional nursing mode and could serve as a novel clinical management modality for calciphylaxis prevention in patients with terminal renal disease. Aim: To study the influence of total glucosides of paeony (TGP) on the expression of peripheral blood programmed cell death protein 1 (PD‐1) and its ligand (PD‐L1) in patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS). Method: Ten patients with new‐onset pSS were selected as the experimental group and were treated with 1.8 g of TGP (the main ingredient is Radix Paeoniae Alba) daily for 3 months; furthermore, 10 physically healthy individuals were selected as the control group. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated, and flow cytometry was used to detect PD‐1 expression on the surface of CD4+ T and CD8+ T lymphocytes and PD‐L1 expression on the surface of CD14+ monocytes and CD19+ B cells before and after treatment in the experimental and control groups. Furthermore, plasma levels of soluble PD‐1 (sPD‐1), interleukin (IL)‐10, and IL‐17A were also determined using enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay. Results: The PD‐1 expression on the surface of CD4+ T and CD8+ T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of patients with pSS were significantly higher than in the control group (P < 0.001). However, PD‐L1 expression on the surface of CD14+ monocytes declined but not significantly (P > 0.05), and PD‐L1 expression on the surface of CD19+ B cells increased significantly (P < 0.001). Moreover, sPD‐1 and IL‐17A levels in the plasma of the experimental group were significantly higher than in the control group (P < 0.001), but the IL‐10 level was significantly lower than in the control group (P < 0.001). After TGP treatment, PD‐1 expression on the surface of CD4+ T and CD8+ lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of patients with pSS had decreased significantly (P < 0.001); the PD‐L1 expression on the surface of CD19+ cells had decreased significantly (P < 0.001); and the PD‐L1 expression on the surface of CD14+ monocytes did not differ significantly (P > 0.05). Furthermore, the levels of sPD‐1 and IL‐17A in plasma had decreased (P < 0.01) and IL‐10 levels had increased after TGP treatment (P < 0.01). Conclusion: PD‐1/PD‐L1 molecules expressed on the surface of T cells, B cells, and monokaryon participated in the pathogenesis and development of SS through interactions. Therefore, TGP, which may increase the expression of PD‐1 and its relevant ligand PD‐L1 in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells, may play a role in the pathogenesis and development of SS through the PD‐1/PD‐L1 pathway by regulating regulatory T cells/T helper cell 17. Vitamin D deficiency is not only related to bone-related diseases but also associated with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer and autoimmune diseases. Previous studies show that vitamin D deficiency increases risk of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). Data is limited among Chinese patients with type 2 diabetes. In this cross-sectional study, we enrolled 5362 patients (2359 men and 3003 women aged 30 to 89 years) with type 2 diabetes from Jan 1, 2016 to Oct 31, 2018. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) level was measured by electrochemiluminescence assay. Vitamin D deficiency was defined as Serum 25(OH)D level < 20 ng/mL according to the Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline 2011. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy was diagnosed by motor/sensory nerve conduction velocity. Patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy had lower serum 25(OH)D concentration (16.81±3.83 ng/mL vs. 18.05±4.11 ng/mL, P<0.05) compared with those without neuropathy. The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency was higher in patient with neuropathy than those without the complication (83.2% vs. 71.4%, P<0.05). We did not find gender difference on the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency. In the logistical regression model, Vitamin D deficiency was associated with increased risk of diabetic neuropathy, after adjustment of age, gender, duration of diabetes, smoking, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, fasting glucose, HbA1c, fasting C-peptide, total cholesterol, and microalbuminuria, the corresponding odds ratio was 1.76 (95% CI 1.05-3.37) (P<0.05). Vitamin D deficiency, a common hypovitaminosis in Chinese patients with type 2 diabetes, is independently associated with increased risk for diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The hydrazones have the absorption in the ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectral region. The hydrazones can be formed by the reaction of aldehyde group and dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) in acidic solution. The determination of glyoxal and glyoxalic acid in aldehyde solution was performed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The proper derivatization conditions were as follows: the reaction temperature of 70 degrees C, the pH of the system of 1.75; the molar ratio of DNPH to carbonyl of 6, the reaction time of 150 min. The saturated concentration of glyoxal dihydrazone in acetonitrile solution at pH 1.75 and 20 degrees C was 20.2 mg/L. The standard curves for glyoxal and glyoxalic acid both had good linear relations in the ranges of 2 - 20 mg/L and 10 - 100 mg/L, respectively. The glyoxal and glyoxalic acid contents in the solution of oxidation of acetaldehyde to glyoxal by nitric acid were determined by this method, the repeatabilities of analysis results were excellent and the relative error compared to chemical analysis of glyoxal was 1.77%. The spiked recoveries of glyoxal and glyoxalic acid were 99.6% - 103.3% and 98.1% - 102.4%, respectively. The method is simple, accurate and efficient for determining aldehydes and dicarbonyl compounds.
