Abstract

In this paper, we explore non-abelian extensions of relative Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and classify the non-abelian extensions by introducing the non-abelian second cohomology group. We also study the inducibility of a pair of automorphisms about a non-abelian extension of relative Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and derive the Wells type exact sequences. Finally, we investigate the inducibility problem of pairs of derivations about an abelian extension of relative Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and give an exact sequence of Wells type.

15. SiO2-Supported DMDAAC-Modified Heteropoly Acid as Highly Active and Stability Catalysts for Methacrolein Oxidation

Abstract

In view of the drawbacks of small specific surface area, poor thermal stability, and easy decomposition, CsPAV was modified by the organic ammonium source dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAC). A series of (DMDAAC)CsPAV/SiO2catalysts with different (DMDAAC)CsPAV loadings were prepared by an impregnation method. When DMDAAC-modified CsPAV was supported on SiO2, it exhibited a high specific surface area and more active sites. The catalytic performance of (DMDAAC)CsPAV/SiO2was investigated by methacrolein (MAL) oxidation to methacrylic acid (MAA). The performance of the catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TG, NH3-TPD, NMR, and XPS. There was an interaction between SiO2and (DMDAAC)CsPAV, and the NH4+crystalline salt was formed in the process of calcination from DMDAAC. The interaction between the formed NH4+and SiO2carrier prevented the decomposition of CsPAV. (DMDAAC)CsPAV/SiO2showed high stability, and the catalytic performance was stable in the long-term evaluation test. Under the optimum conditions, the conversion of MAL was 80.8%, and the selectivity to MAA was 89.1% for 50(DMDAAC)CsPAV/SiO2.

Abstract

This study is intended to explore the effect of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) activation on lipid accumulation in the diabetic kidney. A type 1 diabetic rat model was established by STZ intraperitoneal injection. Cobalt chloride (CoCl2) and YC-1 were used as the HIF-1α activator and antagonist, respectively. CoCl2 treatment significantly increased HIF-1α expression, accelerated lipid deposition, and accelerated tubular injury in diabetic kidneys. In vitro, CoCl2 effectively stabilized HIF-1α and increased its transportation from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, which was accompanied by significantly increased lipid accumulation in HK-2 cells. Furthermore, results obtained in vivo showed that HIF-1α protein expression in the renal tubules of diabetic rats was significantly downregulated by YC-1 treatment. Meanwhile, lipid accumulation in the tubules of the DM + YC-1 group was markedly decreased in comparison to the DM + DMSO group. Accordingly, PAS staining revealed that the pathological injury caused to the tubular epithelial cells was alleviated by YC-1 treatment. Furthermore, the blood glucose level, urine albumin creatinine ratio, and NAG creatinine ratio in the DM + YC-1 group were significantly decreased compared to the DM + DMSO group. Moreover, the protein expression levels of transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in diabetic kidneys were decreased by YC-1 treatment. Our findings demonstrate that the activation of HIF-1α contributed to interstitial injury in a rat model of diabetic nephropathy and that the underlying mechanism involved the induction of lipid accumulation. Abstract

A novel Pd nanocomposites (Pd@GQDs) tightly surrounded by GQDs on the porous carbon sphere is fabricated for the application in the thermocatalytic fields. The samples were characterized by BET, UV–Vis, PL, XRD and TEM and evaluated on their catalytic selective hydrogenation performance. The results show that strong surface interaction between abundant surface groups of GQDs, especially –COO−1 group, and Pd particle induces and drives GQDs directional deposition around the Pd particle in the process of Pd@GQDs generation. In the Pd@GQDs cluster, the electron distribution of Pd particle is rearranged and Pd possesses electron-rich property. The metalloid-promoter GQDs act as an electron donor like various metal additives in multicomponent metal catalysts in the thermocatalytic fields. The Pd@GQDs generates electron-rich H other than electron-deficient H when hydrogen is adsorbed on it, which might prefer to attack nitro group in halonitrobenzene molecule, compared with C–X bond. The superior selectivity and stability for the hydrogenation of various halonitrobenzenes to corresponding haloanilines are obtained. GQDs demonstrate a great prospect of application as a nonmetallic electron promoter in thermocatalytic fields.

Abstract

Achieving high selectivity is one of the major challenges for the noble metal catalysts. A strategy of decoration of Pd nanoparticles by N–S doped carbon quantum dots (N,S-CQDs) to regulate selectivity is proposed. Through adjusting the loading amounts of N,S-CQDs, high selectivity toward catalytic hydrogenation reactions can be obtained. N,S-CQDs facilely adhere to the Pd nanoparticle via surface reactions among C–S/C–N species of N,S-CQDs and C–O species of the carbon support under the catalysis of Pd particles. N loss was detected due to the transformation of some C–N species into nitrogen-containing soluble substances or gas. However, S-containing species, specially −SO2/SO3 species, are turned into C–S–C (thiophene-S), leading to a strong coordination between Pd and S. Abstract

A series of Cex-Mn-Tiy catalysts were synthesized using the coprecipitation method, and sodium carbonate solution was used as a precipitant. The various catalysts were assessed by selective catalytic reduction of NOx with NH3, and characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, H2 temperature-programmed reduction, NH3 temperature-programmed desorption, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to investigate the physicochemical properties, surface acidity, and redox abilities of the Cex-Mn-Tiy catalysts. The Ce0.1-Mn-Ti0.1 catalyst exhibited the best catalytic performance (more than 90% NOx conversion in the range of 75 to 225 °C), as a result of proper redox ability, abundant acid sites, high content of Mn4+ and Ce3+, and surface-adsorbed oxygen (OS). The results of in situ DRIFT spectroscopy showed that the NH3-SCR reaction followed both the E-R and L-H paths over the Ce0.1-Mn-Ti0.1 catalyst, and it occurred faster and more sharply when it mainly abided by the E-R mechanism. Abstract

A facile synthesis method of palladium phosphide supported on the activated carbon was developed. The effects of Pd precursors for phosphatization, phosphatization temperature, and the ratio of hypophosphite/Pd on the generation of palladium phosphide were investigated, and a generation mechanism of the Pd3P crystal structure is proposed. The results demonstrate that only PdO, rather than Pd or PdCl2, can transform into Pd phosphide without damage to the activated carbon. The penetration of P into the Pd particle can dramatically improve the dispersion of Pd species particles on the activated carbon. The generation of Pd phosphide greatly depends on the phosphatization temperature and the ratio of hypophosphite/Pd. An intact Pd3P crystal structure was obtained when the ratio of hypophosphite/Pd reached 32 and the phosphatization temperature was above 400 &deg, C. The Pd3P supported on the activated carbon exhibited superior catalytic performance in terms of the hydrogenation of halonitrobenzenes to haloanilines because it had few L acids and B acids sites and could not generate deficient-electron active hydrogen atoms as electrophiles.
