Rational design of highly sensitive and rapid fluorescent probes is a major concern of analytical methods. Here, we synthesized two Ln‐PFTA with different metal nodes (Dy, Sm) by simple hydrothermal self‐assembly using 3‐fluorobiphenyl‐3′,4,5′‐tricarboxylic acid (H2PFTA) as ligand. As a ratio sensor for detecting riboflavin (RF), it has self‐calibration effect, ultra‐low detection limit (0.225 nM), excellent durability, and high selectivity. In order to add practicality, even in actual samples (fetal bovine serum, tablets, and milk), the recovery rate is as high as 92%–104%, which is considered to be an excellent luminescent sensor for detecting RF. According to the survey, there are few studies on the detection of RF by fluorescence spectroscopy. In addition, there is fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between the processes of Ln‐PFTA detecting RF, and the peak intensity change of Ln‐PFTA is attributed to its modulated luminescence characteristics. A large amount of Cr2O72− and glyphosate (GLYP) discharge cause serious water pollution. In this paper, two new MOFs (Zn‐DPIA and Cd‐DPIA) were synthesized, which have excellent selectivity and sensitivity in the detection of Cr2O72− and GLYP. The detection limits (LODs) of Zn‐DPIA sensing Cr2O72− and GLYP were 1.37 and 1.92 μM, respectively, and the LODs of Cd‐DPIA sensing Cr2O72− and GLYP were 1.19 and 1.42 μM, respectively. Cr2O72− and GLYP detection based on Zn‐DPIA and Cd‐DPIA in tap water is highly reliable based on high recovery rates (97% to 106% and 95% to 103%), indicating that Zn‐DPIA and Cd‐DPIA have practical application prospects. Two novel 2‐(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)‐4‐pyridyl acid complexes with Cu(ClO4)2 ⋅ 6H2O and Co(NO3)2 ⋅ 6H2O were synthesised and their biological activities were systematically studied in vitro. The interaction between the complex and DNA was determined by UV spectroscopy, yielding binding constants of 6.63×103 and 6.09×103, respectively. The DNA binding abilities of the complexes were also investigated using fluorescence spectroscopy, showing quenching values of 0.13 and 0.08, respectively. Agarose gel electrophoresis showed that both the copper and cobalt complexes could effectively cleave DNA. In addition, flow cytometry, cell morphology detection, and MTT assays showed that the synthesised complex induced apoptosis The experimental results show that the copper complexes have promising medicinal value as potential anticancer drugs. The redox property of metal nanoclusters plays a pivotal role and is of particular interest in catalysis and other applications, such as aerobic oxidation, hydrogenation, and singlet oxygen generation, over intact nanoclusters. In this study, we report a one-way conversion process of the anionic [Ag16Au13L24]3− nanocluster into a charge neutral nanocluster of [Ag16Au13L24]0 via oxidation in a solution phase using H2O2 as the oxidant. Three-electron loss of [Ag16Au13L24]3− occurred during the oxidation process, which was confirmed by electron paramagnetic resonance and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry methods. The one-way conversion from [Ag16Au13L24]3− to [Ag16Au13L24]0 nanoclusters is in situ monitored by UV–visible spectroscopy. A nanocluster charge effect is manifested in the UV–visible spectra of nanoclusters; an ∼10 nm redshift is observed compared with the optical absorption spectrum of [Ag16Au13L24]3−.
