Background The degree of aging in China is constantly deepening, and the demand for medical and nursing care services among residents is increasing day by day. Exploring how the integrated medical and nursing care services can develop efficiently with high quality is of great practical significance for actively responding to the aging population. Objective This study provided a reference for improving the service efficiency and optimizing resource allocation by analyzing the efficiency evaluation of the integrated medical and nursing care services in Beijing's nursing homes. Methods On-site survey of elderly care organisations in Beijing, May 2018. The output-oriented BCC model in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was used to evaluate the technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency, scale efficiency of the integrated medical and nursing care services of 62 nursing homes in Beijing. Input indicators: number of institutional beds, number of medical staff, number of elderly caregivers (carers). Output indicators: number of totally disabled/severely impaired elderly, number of partially disabled/mildly impaired elderly, and number of self-care elderly. Results It is found that in the technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency, and scale efficiency of 62 nursing homes in Beijing, the proportion of DEA effective unit is 12.903%, 35.484% and 12.903% respectively. The average values of technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are 0.599, 0.788 and 0.760 respectively. Among them, 12.903% of nursing homes are in the state of constant returns to scale, 70.968% are in the state of decreasing returns to scale, and 16.129% are in the state of increasing returns to scale. Conclusion The overall service efficiency of nursing homes in Beijing is low, and there are phenomena of resource waste and mismatch between supply and demand. It is suggested that nursing homes should scientifically locate the target group, provide accurate services, reasonably calculate the input capacity, and promote service cooperation between the hospital and the nursing home. The government should continue to implement the further implementation of relevant support policies.

BACKGROUND: GATA4 (GATA-binding protein 4), a zinc finger-containing, DNA-binding transcription factor, is essential for normal cardiac development and homeostasis in mice and humans, and mutations in this gene have been reported in human heart defects. Defects in alternative splicing are associated with many heart diseases, yet relatively little is known about how cell type- or cell state-specific alternative splicing is achieved in the heart. Here, we show that GATA4 regulates cell type-specific splicing through direct interaction with RNA and the spliceosome in human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiac progenitors. METHODS: We leveraged a combination of unbiased approaches including affinity purification of GATA4 and mass spectrometry, enhanced cross-linking with immunoprecipitation, electrophoretic mobility shift assays, in vitro splicing assays, and unbiased transcriptomic analysis to uncover GATA4s novel function as a splicing regulator in human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiac progenitors. RESULTS: We found that GATA4 interacts with many members of the spliceosome complex in human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiac progenitors. Enhanced cross-linking with immunoprecipitation demonstrated that GATA4 also directly binds to a large number of mRNAs through defined RNA motifs in a sequence-specific manner. In vitro splicing assays indicated that GATA4 regulates alternative splicing through direct RNA binding, resulting in functionally distinct protein products. Correspondingly, knockdown of GATA4 in human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiac progenitors resulted in differential alternative splicing of genes involved in cytoskeleton organization and calcium ion import, with functional consequences associated with the protein isoforms. CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that in addition to its well described transcriptional function, GATA4 interacts with members of the spliceosome complex and regulates cell type-specific alternative splicing via sequence-specific interactions with RNA. Several genes that have splicing regulated by GATA4 have functional consequences and many are associated with dilated cardiomyopathy, suggesting a novel role for GATA4 in achieving the necessary cardiac proteome in normal and stress-responsive conditions.

Adolescents with problematic mobile phone use (PMPU) have been demonstrated to experience more cognitive failures than healthy controls. To help them better cope with surroundings and improve the quality of life, the present study aimed to discover how PMPU was associated with cognitive failures and if there was any protective factor acting as a buffer in this effect. Emotional distress and coping style are thought to be linked in this association. Thus, this study examined the mediating role of emotional distress and the moderating role of coping style using self-reported questionnaires in a sample of 953 high school and undergraduate students. The results indicated that emotional distress partially mediated the association between PMPU and cognitive failures. In addition, although coping style didn't moderate the direct association between PMPU and cognitive failures, it moderated the two stages of the mediation process. In other words, adolescents with positive coping style could successfully attenuate the adverse effects of PMPU on emotional distress, which in turn had weaker association with cognitive failures. Under the background of service-oriented government construction, quantitative management techniques have been widely used in public services, and it is more and more important to study the relationship between them and public service satisfaction. In this paper, the quantitative management strategy of public service is proposed based on the relationship between public service satisfaction and quantitative management technology. Then, a quantitative Kano model is used to analyze the audience demand for public services. Finally, the effect of improving public service satisfaction is evaluated using the independent sample t-test method. This paper uses a clustering algorithm to extract and classify credit rating features of tobacco retailers and evaluates whether the classification results are reasonable by combining clustering evaluation indexes. The distance between samples is calculated using the similarity measure. The natural domain method density and peak clustering method are used to analyze the distribution of sample points in the data set. Combining the cluster analysis creates the tobacco retail credit rating evaluation index. The results show that cluster analysis can effectively extract credit rating features from tobacco retailers. When the number of features is 25, the model has the best classification effect, with a classification accuracy rate of 91.1%, a recall rate of 91.5%, and an F1 value of 91.3%. The classification of tobacco retailers’ credit ratings can be improved effectively by the research in this paper.
