Well diffusion method was used to evaluate the antibacterial activity of Eucalyptus camaldulensis, while the antifungal effect was assessed by calculating the reduction percent in the radial growth of mycelia. The inhibition zones exerted by E. camaldulensis crude extracts varied significantly (p ≤ 0.01). The capsule crude extract (acetone 30%) highly inhibited the growth of Acinetobacter baumannii (35 mm clear zone). The highest antifungal activity was against Rhizopus stolonifer with a reduction percent in its radial growth reached to 96%. The bacterial MICs ranged from 20 to 0.5 mg/mL against Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis respectively. The MIC values for fungi were between 18 mg/mL (Mucor sp.) and 4 mg/mL (R. stolonifer). Both type and concentration of the solvent greatly affected the antimicrobial potentials of E. camaldulensis. The empty capsule and bud of E. camaldulensis are recognized for the first time as potentially natural resources of effective antimicrobial agents.

The waters around the South Georgia Island is one of the main fishing ground of Antarctic krill fishery and many predators such as sea seal and whale inhabited this island target Antarctic krill as a food source. So it is very important for further understanding Antarctic ecosystem to conduct the research on abundance fluctuation of Antarctic krill resource around this island. Consequently, based on the fine scale fishery data collected in the winter 2013, using the generalized additive model (GAM), the present study analyzed the relationship between environmental factors and the catch rate of Antarctic krill. The results showed the model could explain 32.0% of the accumulation of deviance of the catch rate. The variable that provided the maximum contribution was ten-day with a contribution rate of 21.4% and followed by the latitude (4.4%). Generally, the catch rate decreased from the first 10 days of July to September. Higher catch rates occurred in the eastern fishing ground, particularly the central-eastern part of survey area, and lower catch rates presented in the northern part. The mean catch rate deceased with the increasing change rate of bathymetry. The oceanographic condition with wind scale below 4 was suitable for fishing operation and associated with the higher catch rate, but the wind direction did not significantly affect the catch rate. The mean catch rate increased with the increasing sea surface temperature within 0.5 to 2.0 degrees C.

Joint R&D is an important way of technological innovation, this research will introduce enterprise technological absorption capacity by R&D cooperation game analysis, we build two phases of three enterprise joint R&D game models, to solve the equilibrium of joint R&D behavior under the enterprise different technological absorption capacities, and give three kind of situations to discuss the relationships between enterprise technological absorption capacity differences and the R & D investment behavior.

A variety of factors can affect manufacturerspsila agglomeration, such as trade costs and consumer preferences, production technology, market structure, etc. Among those factors, land constitutes the special basis of economic activity, and its liquidity is also the smallest of productive factors. Under the condition of increasing returns to scale, monopolistic competition, in this paper we developed a model of classical space economics. We put the land into theory framework of spatial distribution of the manufactures. Our study found that land is an important source to economic decentralization, and prevent the occurrence of concentration of manufacturers. The conclusionspsila enlightenment to China now is: It is low efficiency for local government to attract external capital through the way of land price competition.

In this paper, we use addilog utility function to build a microeconomic basement for private consumption. To study the different effect of government spending on private consumption in different areas in China. Using the method of panel cointegration, we analyse the data from 1985 to 2004 of 29 province in China ,and found that on the level of China's economy as a whole, private consumption continued to promoted by government expenditure. However, in different regions, the effects of government expenditure on private consumption is different. Generally, there are a negative correlation between the promoting effect of government spending and the level of economic development in different regions. The results would help the government to formulate more effective fiscal policies, which can expand domestic demand and reduce regional disparities.
