Abstract

At present, the research on fluorescent molecular probe has become a hot topic in the field of environmental science, chemical materials, medicine, and other fields. Therefore, the detection of industrial mercury-containing wastewater (Hg2+) is of great significance. In this article, the fluorescent probe is used to detect mercury ions, and when compared with the traditional detection method, the fluorescent probe has the advantage of operation such as the effect of simplicity is evident. The experiments first synthesized rhodamine B derivatives and then the synthesized rhodamine B derivative fluorescent molecular probes were constructed and used to detect the mercury ions in water sample and oil paints. It was demonstrated that rhodamine B-derived probes have been constructed by UV and fluorescence spectroscopy. The different metal ions and rhodamine B-derived fluorescent molecular probes were compounded, resulting in the appearance of fluorescence peak centered at 583 nm only after the addition of metallic mercury ions with almost no response from other ions. The mercury ion rhodamine B derivative is more responsive to metallic mercury ions.

Abstract

Photovoltaic double-skin glass is a low-carbon energy-saving curtain wall system that uses ventilation heat exchange and airflow regulation to reduce heat gain and generate a portion of electricity. By developing a theoretical model of the ventilated photovoltaic curtain wall system and conducting numerical simulations, this study analyzes the variation patterns of the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic glass for different inclination angles, seasons, thermal ventilation spacing, and glass transmittance in the photovoltaic double-skin curtain wall system. The results indicate a positive correlation between the surface temperature of photovoltaic glass and both ground temperature and solar radiation intensity. Additionally, photovoltaic power generation efficiency is generally higher in spring and autumn than in summer and winter, with enhanced power generation performance observed. At an inclination angle of 40°, photovoltaic panels receive optimal solar radiation and, consequently, produce the maximum electricity. Furthermore, as the ventilation spacing increases, the efficiency of power generation initially rises, reaching a peak at approximately 0.4 m, where it is 0.4% greater than at a spacing of 0.012 m. For a photovoltaic glass transmittance of 40%, the highest photovoltaic power generation efficiency is 63%, while the average efficiency is 35.3%. 20. Design and Application of a Thyristor-Based Half-Sine Pulsed Power Converter for Eddy Current Septum Magnet

Abstract

The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) utilizes six in-vacuum eddy current septum magnets operating at a 2 Hz pulse rate in its injection and extraction system. These magnets include one for booster injection, three for booster extraction, and two for storage ring injection. The inductance of the septum magnet is approximately 2.1 µH. Each septum magnet is driven by one pulsed power converter. The required exciting current is a peak current of approximately 4–10 kA and a half-sine-wave with a base width of approximately 60 µs. Over 10 years of operation, the failure rate of septum magnet pulsed power converters in the SSRF has increased in the last 2 years. To address this issue, an upgrade of half-sine pulsed power converters for septum magnets has been implemented to enhance system reliability. The study outlines the pulsed septum magnets, the upgrade process for pulsed power converters, and the electronic components required, such as energy-storage capacitors, energy recovery circuits, protection circuits, and thyristors. Additionally, the study presents experimental results related to the upgraded pulsed power converter.

It is widely available in the clinic and presents the advantages of short recovery time and a less invasive approach. Only a few complications, such as hemorrhage, ascites, and duct injury, have been reported after RFA for HCC. Herein, we report for the first time the case of a patient diagnosed with recurrent HCC in whom thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) was diagnosed as a complication of the RFA procedure. A 64-year-old male patient with a 2-year history of resected-stage V HCC, in whom later recurrence occurred, underwent RFA for HCC. This patient had a rapid drop in platelets and some petechiae on the wrists after RFA. Combining the clinical and laboratory tests, the diagnosis of TTP was reached. We immediately used plasmapheresis combined with drug therapy, which successfully treated the clinical condition of TTP, with no evidence of recurrence or other complications 1 year after initial treatment. TTP is a rare complication of RFA procedures. Prompt diagnosis and aggressive treatment measures are critical.
