Abstract Objectives To analyze psychological states and needs of patients after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT). Methods Questionnaires were sent to 101 allo‐HSCT survivors and 96 questionnaires were returned. The questionnaire covered several categories: (1) demographics and general information, (2) physical conditions, (3) psychologic status and sleep quality, (4) survivor's comments on transplantation, (5) demands and needs, (6) preferred forms and channels of information. Results Depression and poor sleep quality were major concerns troubling allo‐HSCT survivors. A notable discrepancy exists between clinically diagnosed depression (4.2%) and self‐ reported depression based on BDI‐13 (55.2%). Young adults (18–49 years old), chronic graft‐versus‐host disease, the ECOG performance score of 2–4, surviving within 5 years since HSCT, no or low dose of ATG used and being single were significantly associated with self‐reported depression. Based on the PSQI score, 75% of survivors experienced varying degrees of sleep quality impairment. Young adults, chronic GVHD and the ECOG score of 2–4 were significantly associated with worse sleep quality. The majority of patients reported unmet needs on physical and psychosocial aspects. Nutrition information was the most important topic, followed by disease treatments and fatigue. Differences in informational needs were found in the survivors according to age, time since HSCT and gender. WeChat public account and WeChat applet, mobile interactive platform and one‐to‐one conversation were the favorite channel for information. Conclusions Clinicians should establish more appropriate survivorship care plans focusing on survivors' psychologic states, demands and needs.

Clinically patients with thrombocytopenia are in urgent need of platelet transfusion, thus it is necessary to produce the platelets in large scale in vitro to meet the clinical needs. In this study, we developed efficient protocol to generate functioning platelets by differentiating umbilical cord blood (CB)-derived CD34+ cells into mature megakaryocytes. Under our condition, up to 85% of mature megakaryocytes were generated from CB-derived CD34+ cells, and over 75% CD42b+CD62p+ platelets were produced. The megakaryocytes at day 12 after the differentiation had the similar gene expression pattern to natural mature megakaryocytes, and AMPK and insulin signal pathway were activated to inhibit the apoptosis and benefit platelet release. There were up to 72% of the platelets that could bind with PAC1, which is the highest rate of CB CD34+ cell-derived platelets to play function in vitro to date. The recovery of hemostasis and coagulation was similar in thrombocytopenia mice injected with CB CD34+ cell-derived platelets and with human blood-derived platelets, respectively, and it is the first time to demonstrate that human CB CD34+ cell-derived platelets were functional in vivo. We present a design of an ultrafast spin current emitter utilizing the Au nanoparticles/Co/Pt heterostructures, which facilitate significant enhancement in terahertz radiation. Using Au nanoparticles synthesized by thermal annealing and embedded in Co/Pt bilayers, we show that the Au nanoparticles fulfill surface plasmon resonance conditions under the illumination of femtosecond laser pulses, and enhanced terahertz spin currents are generated in the Co thin film. The terahertz signal amplitude of Au nanoparticles/Co/Pt sample exhibits an enhancement of 70% and 45% compared to that observed in Au thin film/Co/Pt and Co/Pt samples, respectively. By integrating experimental analysis and numerical calculations, we ascribe the enhancement of terahertz emission amplitude to the contribution of spin current generated by surface plasmon resonance in the Co thin film, which may result from the magnetization enhancement induced by surface plasmon-excited electromagnetic fields at the Au nanoparticles/Co interface, and the plasmon-induced spin current density is approximately 1 × 1029 electrons s−1 m−2. This plasmon-induced spin current establishes a connection between the fields of plasmonic and spintronic physics, thereby promoting the development of spintronic terahertz emitters. Co2Z is a planar ferrite, particularly suitable for soft magnetic applications. There is currently a lack of in-depth research on its high-frequency properties. La3+ ion is a potential ion to regulate its magnetism. Based on this, the crystal structure, microstructure, static, and dynamic magnetic properties of Ba3−xLaxCo2Fe24O41 (x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25) ceramics were investigated. The findings demonstrate that La substitution retains the crystal structure and form, yet the introduction of extra charge leads to the formation of Fe2+ ions, resulting in a slight decrease in magnetic moment from 51.9 to 48.9 emu/g, while a notable increase in the out-of-plane anisotropic field from 12.2 to 18.3 kOe, which significantly impacts the high-frequency complex magnetic permeability spectrum. Additionally, a thorough analysis of the high-frequency magnetic spectrum indicates that both domain wall movement and magnetization rotation contribute to the magnetic permeability, with magnetization rotation playing predominant. Particularly exciting is that the high-frequency magnetic spectrum results show that the substitution of La for Ba considerably raises the resonance frequency from 2.41 to 3.30 GHz that can be attributed to the increased anisotropy. In conclusion, the substitution of La markedly enhances the high-frequency magnetic properties of Co2Z. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
