The development of geographic information technology promotes the progress of tourism information. The application of information technology to the management of tourism information can improve the service standard and management quality of tourism industry, which consequently accelerates the development of tourism industry. The paper introduces the design of Tourism Management Information System (TMIS), and applies Baidu Map API and HTML5 based on B/S structure for web development to realize the basic operation of electronic maps, attractions query, bus query, surrounding query, travel by car, address matching, and so on. TMIS based on B/S structure shares resources through the network with low cost, high efficiency of management and development, fast speed of updating information, which can provide timely and accurate information for the tourists.

Geographic Information System (GIS) is applied to the forest fire monitoring and management in Henan province, China. A forest fire monitoring system architecture is presented, which consists of the mobile client, the monitoring and management client, the map data server, and the business data processing server. The paper carried out the system database design and function design and realized the functions of forest resources inquire, fire warning, positioning and navigation of fire point, fire situation real-time dynamic plotting, and so on. The system can promote efficiently the informatization of monitoring, management, early warning in forest fire.

According to the requirements, the design principles of web-based learning platform were presented, taking into account teaching and learning. Many instances were introduced to the instructional design. Modular structure was applied to design the system whose model was proposed. The prototype was built by Adobe Flash Professional, a timeline-based, object-oriented authoring tool. User interactivity, loading multimedia files and switching full-screen were achieved by Scripting languages. The result shows that it is informative, user-friendly and suitable for browsing on Internet.

Informatization is an inevitable trend of higher education development. The Practice teaching is an important link of talents training of geosciences related majors. In this paper, we have discussed the purpose of constructing field Practice teaching informatization platform (FPTIP) in geosciences related majors, investigated the major contents of the FPTIP, and established the frame of the FPTIP, which is composed of four application systems, that is, the field geological mapping system, the fundamental geographic information system, the practice teaching achievements visualization management system, and the geological and geographic information 3D visualization system. Then, we have also conducted function design of the application systems. Finally, taking the construction of the FPTIP of Yangtze University as an example, we have preliminarily developed an informatization practice teaching platform, which integrates multiple functions, including the field geological mapping, the acquisition and processing of geographic information, and 3D visualization display and management of practice teaching achievements, and provides an informatization platform for the cultivating creative professionals of geosciences related major.

ZA22-Al 2 O 3 composites were prepared by means of a squeeze casting process. The effects of fibre volume friction ( V f ), applied load, time and fibre orientation on the dry friction and wear behaviour were studied. The results show that the wear resistance and the coefficient of friction of the composites increased with V p . The wear weight loss of the composite during wear testing increased with the applied load or the wearing time. The weight loss and the coefficient of friction were related to the fibre orientation. Both the weight loss and the coefficient of friction were smaller when fibres were normal to the friction surface than when fibres were parallel to it. The coefficient of friction decreased with load, and increased with time. An Fe-rich layer about 10 μm thick on the wear surface was found by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and an energy spectrometer. The wear mode of the ZA22 alloy is mainly ploughing groove and adhesion, while the wear mode of the ZA22-Al 2 O 3 composite is mainly slight ploughing groove and oxidization.

The medial plica may be caused by direct trauma or joint degeneration, which also could be iatrogenic. There have been few reports in the literature discussing incidence of the medial plica caused by an operation on the knee joint, specifically after the reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). In this study, we aimed to evaluate and analyze the relationship between the incidence of the medial plica and reconstruction of the ACL.A retrospective case series study was conducted to review the findings of 1085 patients between 2003 and 2007, who underwent second-look arthroscopy after reconstruction of the ACL (between 2002 and 2006). The correlation of the incidence of medial plica with the stability of the knee joint, the time from onset of injury to reconstruction surgery, the associated injuries, and the rate of progress during postoperative rehabilitation were analyzed.We found that 722 patients had the structure of a medial plica. The incidence after reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (66.5%) was significantly higher than usually reported. All these medial plica had avascular fibrotic and thickened edges. An excision of pathologic medial plica and fat pad synovial fringes were done. The incidences were significantly different between the two groups with their reconstruction operation time, from onset of injury to surgery (less than one month or over 2 years), and the progress rate of postoperative rehabilitation (knee flexion could not be over 90 degrees in four weeks). The incidence was not different between the groups with knee stable conditions.Medial plica is more common in patients after reconstruction of ACL. More associated injuries and more rehabilitation difficulties can increase the medial plica incidence.

An investigation into the work-hardening mechanism and the method of improving the work-hardening ability and the wear resistance of austenitic manganese steel, under non-severe impact-loading conditions, by means of transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction has been conducted in this project. The results indicate that the work-hardening effects result from increased dislocation density and stacking faults for the manganese steel with higher austenite stability, while they result from the combined effects of dislocation strengthening and strain-induced martensite for manganese steel with lower austenite stability. By comparison with Hadfield steel, the work-hardening ability and the wear resistance of the austenitic medium manganese steel increase by 60%–120% (the highest surface hardness up to 700 HV) and 50%–140% respectively, if the chemical compositions and technology are properly controlled, to obtain suitable austenite stability and secondary phase hard particles.
