5. Surgical use of fire needle for connective tissue external hemorrhoids：a case report

Abstract

Objective:To report a patient with connective tissue external hemorrhoids who showed beneficial efficacy after fire needle was used for cutting off the connective tissue. Methods:Burn the front end of needle on the alcohol lamp until red and cut off the connective tissue external hemorrhoids quickly and accurately. Results: The connective tissue external hemorrhoid was totally removed and the patient showed a complete recovery after one and a half-year follow up. Conclusion: Fire needle can quickly eliminate perianal connective tissue, improve pain and bleeding, promote tissue regeneration and shorten the wound healing time, which may provide us a new idea for the surgical treatment of external hemorrhoids.

Abstract

Electromagnetic forming is a kind of high energy rate forming; in which magnetic pressure analysis is the foundation of theoretical analysis. Usually equivalent methods are used to resolve any problems, but because of the limitations of the calculation methods, only the average force which acts on the workpiece can be obtained. Especially, the tolerances at the end of the workpiece are higher, which results in great difficulties in the deformation analysis of the workpiece. This paper carries out a numerical simulation of the magnetic pressure acting on the workpiece during electromagnetic bulge forming by use of the FEA software ANSYS. The boundary conditions of the analysis model are established on the basis of theoretical analysis of the magnetic field properties. Through measuring the magnetic induction intensity between the coil and the workpiece, the simulative results are proven to be accurate. This is the first time that the magnetic pressure distribution in the thickness direction of the workpiece has been explored through FEM.

Abstract

In this paper we present an improved nuclear density model. We have found the nuclear effect parameters’ formula RAV(x,Q2) and RAS(x,Q2) for the valence quark distribution and sea quark distribution in the nucleus, in which we have used the relation between the nuclear density and the mean binding energy in nucleus. By using the model, we can well explain the experimental data of the of Drell-Yan process in P-A.

Abstract

Touchless fingerprint capturing can provide richer features and overcome the deficiency of 2D fingerprint recognition. In this paper, a clustering-based dynamic score selection (CDSS) algorithm is proposed for the combination of scores which are generated by different vision touchless fingerprint recognition systems. First, the scores are divided into two classes and the number of elements in each class and other statistic variables is computed. Then appropriate statistic value is chosen as the score for final decision of the whole system. The experimental results show that the performance of CDSS-based multi-vision touchless system can be enhanced efficiently compared to touchless fingerprint recognition and better than those of sum, max, SVM and Fisher linear discrimination algorithms. 12. Fabrication of Organized Mesoporous TiO2 Films Assembled via Different Template and Characterization of their Photocatalytic Activity

Abstract

Hexagonal and cubic mesoporous TiO2 materials were synthesized via a sol-gel route modified by evaporation–induced self–assembly process with different templates. XRD and TEM results confirmed that the mesoporous films were highly organized. Furthermore, the hexagonal mesoporous TiO2 films were formed in the P123-templated films, whereas the cubic structure ones were found in the F127-templated films. Both the hexagonal and cubic mesoporous films showed photocatalytic activity in decomposing methyl orange solution under UV region, among which the cubic mesostructure presented superior potocatalytic activity because of larger surface area, more open framework and less obstructed diffusion paths of guest molecules.

Abstract

Five sesquiterpenoids were isolated from 90% ethanol extract of Croton yunnanensis by silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography,as well as prep-HPLC methods. Based on MS,1 D and 2 D NMR spectral analyses,the structures of the five compounds were identified as 11-methoxyl alismol(1),6β,7β-epoxy-4α-hydroxyguaian-10-ene(orientalol C,2),multisalactone D(3),arvestonol(4),and 4,5-dihydroblumenol A(5). Compound 1 was a new guaiane-type sesquiterpenoid. Compounds 2-4 were isolated from the Croton genus for the first time,and compound 5 was obtained from this plant for the first time.
