Freezing temperatures impose significant constraints on plant growth and productivity. While cold tolerance mechanisms have been extensively studied in model species, the molecular basis of freezing tolerance in naturally adapted plants remains underexplored. Chorispora bungeana, an alpine plant with a strong freezing tolerance, provides a valuable model for investigating these adaptive mechanisms. In this study, we used Tandem Mass Tag (TMT)-based quantitative proteomics to analyze C. bungeana seedlings subjected to freezing stress (−6 °C) at 6 and 30 h, identifying 302 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) compared with controls. Our findings capture the dynamic proteomic landscape of C. bungeana under freezing stress, revealing distinct early and prolonged responses. Early responses featured upregulated proteins involved in signaling and stress protection, with no clear involvement of the ICE1-CBF pathway (ICE1: Inducer of CBF Expression 1; CBF: C-repeat Binding Factor) found in cold-acclimating plants, while calcium signaling and epigenetic modifications enabled a rapid response. Extended exposure involved DEPs in RNA modification, glutamine metabolism, and biosynthesis of polysaccharides and flavonoids, highlighting metabolic adjustments crucial for long-term adaptation. By combining protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks and functional analysis, we identified 54 key proteins validated by qRT-PCR. These findings provide comprehensive insight into freezing tolerance mechanisms, identifying candidate proteins for enhancing cold resilience in crops and mitigating agricultural cold stress impacts. In recent years, with rapid societal advancement and profound transformations in knowledge production, doctoral students are increasingly facing significant time pressures. These pressures not only stem from an escalation in research tasks but also from urgent demands for innovative outputs. Grounded in Affective Events Theory, this study explores the dual impact of time pressure on the innovative behaviors of doctoral students in China. It specifically examines how challenge and hindrance time pressures affect doctoral students' innovative behavior through the mediating role of research self-efficacy and the moderating role of supervisor support. This research employed SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.3 for statistical analysis, analyzing multi-time point data collected from 452 Chinese doctoral students between May and August 2023. The results reveal that challenge time pressure significantly positively impacts doctoral students' innovative behavior, while hindrance time pressure has a significant negative impact. Furthermore, research self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between both challenge and hindrance time pressures and innovative behavior. In this process, the moderating role of supervisor support is significant, enhancing the positive effects of challenge time pressure and mitigating the negative impacts of hindrance time pressure, highlighting the importance of supervisor support in optimizing the impact of time pressure and promoting doctoral students' innovative behavior. These findings not only enrich the theoretical framework in the field of time pressure research but also provide practical guidance for universities and supervisors on how to support doctoral students in effectively managing time pressure and fostering their innovation. The detachment regimes and corresponding detachment height of lower liquid from a coated bubble during the bubble passage through an immiscible liquid–liquid interface were studied. High-speed imaging techniques were used to visualize the lower liquid detachment from a rising bubble near the interface. Analysis of industrial slag samples by a scanning electron microscope (SEM) was also carried out. The results indicate that the detachment height of lower liquid from a rising bubble showed a distinct correlation to penetration regimes. Bubble size and a fluid's physical properties exerted a significant influence on the detachment height of the lower liquid. The detachment height for medium bubbles (Weber number: 4~4.5; Bond number: 2.5~7.5) varied significantly with increasing bubble size, which contributes to the lower liquid entrainment in the upper phase due, significantly, to the higher detachment height and large entrainment volume. The maximum detachment height for large bubbles is limited to approximately 100 mm due to the early detachment with the liquid column at the interface though large bubbles transporting a larger volume of lower liquid into the upper phase.
