With the rapid evolution of Web3.0, cryptocurrency has become a cornerstone of decentralized finance. While these digital assets enable efficient and borderless financial transactions, their pseudonymous nature has also attracted malicious activities such as money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes. Effective detection of malicious transactions is crucial to maintaining the security and integrity of the Web 3.0 ecosystem. Existing malicious transaction detection methods rely on large amounts of labeled data and suffer from low generalization. Label-efficient and generalizable malicious transaction detection remains a challenging task. In this paper, we propose ShadowEyes, a novel malicious transaction detection method. Specifically, we first propose a generalized graph structure named TxGraph as a representation of malicious transaction, which captures the interaction features of each malicious account and its neighbors. Then we carefully design a data augmentation method tailored to simulate the evolution of malicious transactions to generate positive pairs. To alleviate account label scarcity, we further design a graph contrastive mechanism, which enables ShadowEyes to learn discriminative features effectively from unlabeled data, thereby enhancing its detection capabilities in real-world scenarios. We conduct extensive experiments using public datasets to evaluate the performance of ShadowEyes. The results demonstrate that it outperforms state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods in four typical scenarios. Specifically, in the zero-shot learning scenario, it can achieve an F1 score of 76.98% for identifying gambling transactions, surpassing the SOTA method by12.05%. In the scenario of across-platform malicious transaction detection, ShadowEyes maintains an F1 score of around 90%, which is 10% higher than the SOTA method.

As blockchain applications become increasingly widespread, there is a rising demand for on-chain data queries. However, existing schemes for on-chain data queries face a challenge between verifiability and efficiency. Queries on blockchain databases can compromise the authenticity of the query results, while schemes that utilize on-chain Authenticated Data Structure (ADS) have lower efficiency. To overcome this limitation, we propose an efficient and verifiable on-chain data query framework EVeCA. In our approach, we free the full nodes from the task of ADS maintenance by delegating it to a limited number of nodes, and full nodes verify the correctness of ADS by using challenge-based authentication scheme instead of reconstructing them, which prevents the service providers from maintaining incorrect ADS with overwhelming probability. By carefully designing the ADS verification scheme, EVeCA achieves higher efficiency while remaining resilient against adaptive attacks. Our framework effectively eliminates the need for on-chain ADS maintenance, and allows full nodes to participate in ADS maintenance in a cost-effective way. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through security analysis and experimental evaluation. Compared to existing schemes, our approach improves ADS maintenance efficiency by about 20*.

Attention mechanisms have revolutionized natural language processing. Combining them with quantum computing aims to further advance this technology. This paper introduces a novel Quantum Mixed-State Self-Attention Network (QMSAN) for natural language processing tasks. Our model leverages quantum computing principles to enhance the effectiveness of self-attention mechanisms. QMSAN uses a quantum attention mechanism based on mixed state, allowing for direct similarity estimation between queries and keys in the quantum domain. This approach leads to more effective attention coefficient calculations. We also propose an innovative quantum positional encoding scheme, implemented through fixed quantum gates within the circuit, improving the model's ability to capture sequence information without additional qubit resources. In numerical experiments of text classification tasks on public datasets, QMSAN outperforms Quantum Self-Attention Neural Network (QSANN). Furthermore, we demonstrate QMSAN's robustness in different quantum noise environments, highlighting its potential for near-term quantum devices.

Cross-technology communication (CTC) is a promising technique that enables direct communications among incompatible wireless technologies without needing hardware modification. However, it has not been widely adopted in real-world applications due to its inefficiency and unreliability. To address this issue, this paper proposes a deep joint source-channel coding (DJSCC) scheme to enable efficient and reliable CTC. The proposed scheme builds a neural-network-based encoder and decoder at the sender side and the receiver side, respectively, to achieve two critical tasks simultaneously: 1) compressing the messages to the point where only their essential semantic meanings are preserved; 2) ensuring the robustness of the semantic meanings when they are transmitted across incompatible technologies. The scheme incorporates existing CTC coding algorithms as domain knowledge to guide the encoder-decoder pair to learn the characteristics of CTC links better. Moreover, the scheme constructs shared semantic knowledge for the encoder and decoder, allowing semantic meanings to be converted into very few bits for cross-technology transmissions, thus further improving the efficiency of CTC. Extensive simulations verify that the proposed scheme can reduce the transmission overhead by up to 97.63\% and increase the structural similarity index measure by up to 734.78%, compared with the state-of-the-art CTC scheme.

Classical diffusion models have shown superior generative results. Exploring them in the quantum domain can advance the field of quantum generative learning. This work introduces Quantum Generative Diffusion Model (QGDM) as their simple and elegant quantum counterpart. Through a non-unitary forward process, any target quantum state can be transformed into a completely mixed state that has the highest entropy and maximum uncertainty about the system. A trainable backward process is used to recover the former from the latter. The design requirements for its backward process includes non-unitarity and small parameter count. We introduce partial trace operations to enforce non-unitary and reduce the number of trainable parameters by using a parameter-sharing strategy and incorporating temporal information as an input in the backward process. We present QGDM's resource-efficient version to reduce auxiliary qubits while preserving generative capabilities. QGDM exhibits faster convergence than Quantum Generative Adversarial Network (QGAN) because its adopted convex-based optimization can result in better convergence. The results of comparing it with QGAN demonstrate its effectiveness in generating both pure and mixed quantum states. It can achieve 53.02% higher fidelity in mixed-state generation than QGAN. Deep graph convolution networks (GCNs) have recently shown excellent performance in traffic prediction tasks. However, they face some challenges. First, few existing models consider the influence of auxiliary information, i.e., weather and holidays, which may result in a poor grasp of spatial-temporal dynamics of traffic data. Second, both the construction of a dynamic adjacent matrix and regular graph convolution operations have quadratic computation complexity, which restricts the scalability of GCN-based models. To address such challenges, this work proposes a deep encoder-decoder model entitled AIMSAN. It contains an auxiliary information-aware module (AIM) and sparse cross attention-based graph convolution network (SAN). The former learns multi-attribute auxiliary information and obtains its embedded presentation of different time-window sizes. The latter uses a cross-attention mechanism to construct dynamic adjacent matrices by fusing traffic data and embedded auxiliary data. Then, SAN applies diffusion GCN on traffic data to mine rich spatial-temporal dynamics. Furthermore, AIMSAN considers and uses the spatial sparseness of traffic nodes to reduce the quadratic computation complexity. Experimental results on three public traffic datasets demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms other counterparts in terms of various performance indices. Specifically, the proposed method has competitive performance with the state-of-the-art algorithms but saves 35.74% of GPU memory usage, 42.25% of training time, and 45.51% of validation time on average.

In universal environment, a patient-friendly inexpensive method is needed to realize the early diagnosis of depression, which is believed to be an effective way to reduce the mortality of depression. The purpose of this study is only to collect EEG signal from three electrodes Fp1, Fpz and Fp2, then the linear and nonlinear features of EEG used to classify depression patients and healthy controls. The EEG recordings were carried out on a group of 18 medication-free depressive patients and 25 gender and age matched controls. In this paper, the selected features include three linear (maximum, mean and center values of the power) and three nonlinear features (correlation dimension, Renyi entropy and C0 complexity). The accuracy and effectiveness of classification model between depressive and control subjects were calculated using leave-one-out cross-validation. The experimental results indicate that selected three channel EEG and features can distinguish the subjects between depression and normal beings, the classification accuracy is 72.25%. According to the World Health Organization, the number of mental disorder patients, especially depression patients, has grown rapidly and become a leading contributor to the global burden of disease. However, the present common practice of depression diagnosis is based on interviews and clinical scales carried out by doctors, which is not only labor-consuming but also time-consuming. One important reason is due to the lack of physiological indicators for mental disorders. With the rising of tools such as data mining and artificial intelligence, using physiological data to explore new possible physiological indicators of mental disorder and creating new applications for mental disorder diagnosis has become a new research hot topic. However, good quality physiological data for mental disorder patients are hard to acquire. We present a multi-modal open dataset for mental-disorder analysis. The dataset includes EEG and audio data from clinically depressed patients and matching normal controls. All our patients were carefully diagnosed and selected by professional psychiatrists in hospitals. The EEG dataset includes not only data collected using traditional 128-electrodes mounted elastic cap, but also a novel wearable 3-electrode EEG collector for pervasive applications. The 128-electrodes EEG signals of 53 subjects were recorded as both in resting state and under stimulation; the 3-electrode EEG signals of 55 subjects were recorded in resting state; the audio data of 52 subjects were recorded during interviewing, reading, and picture description. We encourage other researchers in the field to use it for testing their methods of mental-disorder analysis.
