8. The geological structure and sliding mode of the slopes in the Yigong landslide source area, Tibet

Abstract

The unstable slopes of BH01, BH02, and BH03 in the Yigong landslide source area in Tibet threaten the safety of major engineering facilities downstream. In order to prevent and control the disaster risk caused by the high-elevation sliding of blocks, it is urgent to analyze the geological structure of the slope in the above-mentioned source area and their deformation trends. Based on the Pleiades digital elevation model with a precision of 2 m and its topographical shadow, this paper draws up evidence from three aspects: quantitative geomorphology, geological structure, and landslide science. In addition, it is preliminarily determined that the source area of the Yigong landslide has four secondary slope units, including the cuesta in the front imbricated thrust-fault zone, the block in the thrust-fault zone, the block in the strike-slip fault zone, and the NE-trending rift zone. There are two primary control structural planes in the slope, dipping southeast and southwest, respectively. The geological survey of the line has confirmed that the above two groups of structural planes are related to thrust faults and strike-slip faults in the imbricated nappe. The NE-trending rift crosscutting the ridge may be related to the recent EW-extensional deformation of the nappe. With the above-mentioned geological structures, the slopes in the Yigong landslide source area show multi-stage and multi-phase deep sliding along the NE-trending rift zone and have the creep-tension-shear sliding mechanism with rock landslide. According to the extension depth of the tensile fractures in the source area, the BH02 block has the potential risk of accelerated slippage. Moreover, the BH03 block is also unstable.

14. RIS-Aided Physical Layer Key Generation of IoT Network in Static Environments (March 2023)

Abstract

Physical layer secret key generation (SKG) technology can provide lightweight encryption for resource-constrained Internet of Things (IoT) devices. However, many IoT devices are stationary, and the environment is usually static, which leads to ultralow/zero secret key rates. To circumvent this problem, a novel SKG scheme based on reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is proposed for multiple-input single-output (MISO) communications. First, the phase shifts at the RIS are tuned randomly in each frame, which makes time-varying reflection channels superimposed on the original channels. Correspondingly, the key capacity of all nodes within the cell coverage area can be remarkably improved. Compared with the existing methods, the scheme is loosely coupled with the original system. Besides, the closed-form expressions of key capacity taking into account eavesdropping are derived for the case studies of independent and correlated channels. Based on these derivations, we can conclude that sharing the same phase shifts randomness will not lead to key information leakage. More importantly, compared with user-introduced randomness schemes, the proposed scheme can maintain good performance even the number of eavesdropping nodes increases. Furthermore, the impacts of critical parameters on key performance are analyzed, respectively, which offers guidelines for system design. Finally, simulation results verify the theoretical analysis.

Abstract

The maneuvering parameter identification of non-cooperative atrcraft is studied when the known information is sparse orbit elements. In this paper, a maneuver parameter identification method based on orbit inveryion and its corresponding solution algorithm are proposed. Firstly, the orbit invertion model and the maneuvering parameier identification optimization model are established. Then, a double optimization algorithm of "global optimization plus local correction" is proposed. Finally, the maneuvering parameter identification method proposed is verified by simulation. The results show that the double optimization method can effectively solve the optimization model, and the proposed method can effectively identify maneuvering parameiers within an acceptable error range. The research provides an idea for maneuvering identification of non-cooperative aircraft with lifted information, and ensures the on-orbit safety of spacecraft to a certain extent. Abstract

The bypass switch is required to complete the closing operation quickly and accurately protect the transmission line. Therefore, there is a high requirement for the actuator of the bypass switch. According to the characteristics of the bypass switch, the commonly used actuators are compared, and the magnetic force actuator and the motor actuator are initially selected to meet the requirements. Firstly, the characteristics of the magnetic and motor actuator are compared and analyzed in principle. Then, the optimization model of the two actuators is obtained through simulation optimization. Under the same working voltage, the action characteristics of the two actuators, including the action speed, the start time and the output force, are compared. Finally, a comprehensive reference for the selection of the bypass switch actuator is provided.
