The dynamic mechanical behaviors of 7B52 laminated aluminum alloy under different impact deformation conditions were investigated using split Hopkinson pressure bar, optical microscopy, electron backscatter diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that the 7B52 laminated aluminum alloy displays positive strain rate sensitivity and negative temperature sensitivity. Cracks are formed firstly at the interface between the 7A62 hard layer and the 7A01 middle layer under a low strain rate of 2200 s−1. When the strain rate increases to 3500 s−1, the deformation shear band is firstly formed in the 7A52 soft layer. The deformation shear band transformed to the transition shear band with the increase of strain rate, and then crack initiated. Adiabatic shear bands and cracks are formed in both of the hard and soft layers when samples impacted at a high strain rate (5500 s−1). Most of the cracks and adiabatic shear bands are unable to penetrate the middle layer due to the good toughness of the 7A01 alloy. The deformation of each layer of 7B52 laminated aluminum alloy becomes more uniform when the temperature increases, which was attributed to the reduction of difference in strength among the three layers and the coordinating effect of grain boundary on deformation.

As the promising flux measure area is within the air-sea boundary layer, a flux buoy is a better choice. Generally, large vessels have to be used in these flux monitoring tasks with buoys. This paper describes a small buoy which is supported by national ocean technology center for flux measurement in air-sea boundary layer, capable of rapidly deployment and accurately measuring atmospheric and sea surface variables. It can be easily dissembled, carried, deployed and acquire meteorological and hydrological data, such as pressure, temperature and wind speed. The algorithm, which is based on the Monin-Obukhov similarity theory, the structure, which has an anti-rotation character, sensors installed on the buoy which have high accuracy and good stability and the process of the buoy control system are introduced in details. The buoy has been deployed in a sea area as a field test, and has a promising result. Compared to the traditional flux buoy, the small flux buoy is not only small and light in weight, and also can be used for flexible, low-cost and effective flux measurement. Besides, its low cost makes measurement in wide range possible. The buoy provides a new solution for air-sea flux monitoring and data source for flux model algorithm research.

Sea-sky-line is one of the most significant marine observation indexes. An algorithm using images of different grayscales to detect sea-sky-line is proposed in this paper. The image is divided into two layers by different pixel values between the strong water pattern and other elements such as the illumination and the clouds. Two lines are extracted through the Hough transform by two layers of the image. If the two lines can be recognized as one, we take the mean as the result; otherwise, we take the one with maximum variance. A test of sea images in complex weather conditions results in high accuracy.

In order to solve the problem that XBT is susceptible to severe sea condition and people factor which leads to poor and inefficient measurement, the realization idea of motor control unit is proposed in the design of XBT cluster launch and measurement system. The unit consists of a power management module, main control chip, communication and motor control interface module, etc. The servo motor, stepping motor and DC motor in the system can be controlled by programming the main control chip on the unit, the above three kinds of motor movement modes are combined organically to complete multiple XBT automatic launch. The test result shows that the system can accomplish multiple XBTs reliable launch in severe sea condition, and has the characteristics of high efficiency and automation, good practicability and stability.
