ObjectiveThis study aimed to provide basic data for the formulation of laws and regulations related to prebiotic health food and product production， by systematically investigating the product information of prebiotic health food approved in China.MethodsThe examination and approval information of health food containing prebiotics in China from 1996 to 2022 were investigated， including the ingredient list of health food， functional claims， and suitable population information. The product information database was established. The frequency of adding prebiotic ingredients， product functional claims， and suitable population distribution were statistically analyzed.ResultsA total of 504 prebiotic health foods were approved from 1996 to 2022. Prebiotics were mostly added in the form of combination， but the ingredients used were mainly concentrated in three kinds， which were fructo-oligosaccharides （44.44%）， isomalto-oligosaccharide （22.02%）， and xylo-oligosaccharides （19.05%）. The function was claimed to be relatively simple. The products of “enhancing immunity”， “defecating”， and “regulating intestinal flora” account for 38.20%， 32.60%， and 14.60%， respectively. The common suitable people in the product were those with low immunity， constipation， and gastrointestinal dysfunction.ConclusionHealth food containing prebiotics in China has a favorable development space in the future. Updating the relevant policies and regulations， guiding the production enterprises to follow up in time， and promoting a healthy development of health food containing prebiotics in China is necessary.

ObjectiveTo examine perfluorooctanoic acid （PFOA）-induced DNA damage using a combined in vivo and in vitro experiment.MethodsAcellular nuclear DNA damage was used as a model to test the damage induced by exposure to 0.00， 0.13， 0.25， and 0.50 mmol/L PFOA for 1 h. The YAC-1 cell was used as the research model. In the cytotoxicity study， the effects of different dosages on cell activity were determined via CCK-8 assay. The final PFOA concentrations were 0， 1.0×10-8， 1.0×10-7， and 1.0×10-6 mol/L. DNA damage was detected after 3 d of exposure. Rats were gavage with 0， 10， 20， 40 mg/kg·BW PFOA twice. The liver， bone marrow， and peripheral blood of rats were removed 6 h after the last administration. Alkaline and neutral comet assay were performed to measure DNA damage. The micronucleus test was performed to measure bone marrow chromosome breakage.ResultsCompared with the control group， acellular and cell alkaline DNA comet assay result showed that the tail DNA% of acellular nuclear DNA increased significantly in each dose group （P0.05）. The tail DNA% of each dose group in the alkaline comet assay was significantly higher than that of the control group （P0.05）. Compared with the control group， the alkaline and neutral comet assay results showed that the tail DNA% of bone marrow， liver， and peripheral blood cells group showed no DNA breakage in each dose group （P>0.05）. Compared with the control group， the test of bone marrow micronucleus was negative （P>0.05）.ConclusionPFOA can cause DNA single-strand breakage at the subcellular level in vitro， and exposure does not induce DNA and chromosome breakage in rats after oral exposure.

Objective To explore the effect of RW splints on the position and occlusal relationship of classⅡ malocclusion patients with temporomandibular disorder (TMD) to provide a basis for the diagnosis and design of this kind of patient. Methods Fifteen patients with class Ⅱ malocclusions with TMD were enrolled in this study. After 8 months of RW-splint treatment, the changes in jaw position (∠ANB, SN-MP, ∠S-G0/N-Me) and occlusal relationship (molar, cuspid teeth displacement and anterior overbite/overjet value) were recorded by a condylar displacement measuring instrument at the CR position and CO position. Results After RW-splint treatment, the mean values of ∠ANB (t=4.971, P=0.001) and ∠SN-MP (t=9.895, P ＜ 0.01) were increased in all 15 patients, and the mean value of S-G0/N-Me (t=5.342, P=0.005) was decreased. The mean values of the distal movement of the first molars on the left and right sides of the mandible were (1.57 ± 0.79) mm and (1.69 ± 1.29) mm, respectively; the mean values of the distal movement of the canines on the left and right sides of the mandible were (1.54 ± 0.50) mm and (1.51 ± 1.08) mm, respectively; and the mean values of the overbite were (1.16 ± 0.60) mm and (1.99 ± 0.85) mm, respectively. Conclusion After RW-splint treatment, the jaw rotates clockwise, and the relationship between the molars and canines changes obviously in class Ⅱ patients with TMD, which provides a reference for the diagnosis and treatment plan of this kind of patient.

Fault zones often appear as graben and ladder in the strata, in order to study the width of plastic zone of water proof coal-rock pillar of graben faults, taking the graben faults in Liuzhuang Coal Mine in Huainan Mining Area as the research object, based on the development laws of the height of fractured water-conducting zone, mechanical model of stability of trapezoidal waterproof coal-rock pillar of graben faults is innovatively proposed. According to the stress and its geometric characteristics of local rock mass in trapezoidal coal-rock column, the formula for calculating the failure width of plastic zone of waterproof coal-rock pillar of graben faults is deduced, and F19 and F19-7 graben faults in Liuzhuang Coal Mine in Huainan Mining Area is studied. Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the width of the plastic zone of waterproof coal-rock pillar of graben faults is calculated to further verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.

Phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) stress significantly affect the growth, physiological characteristics, and nutrient uptake of rice plants. This study investigated the photosynthetic nitrogen (N) metabolism, N uptake, and N utilization of plants under varied P and K supplies. Two local conventional high-yield rice varieties (Shennong 265 and Liaojing 294) were used. These varieties were subjected to the following hydroponic experimental treatments: HPHK (normal P and K concentrations), HPLK (normal P and 1/20 normal K concentration), LPHK (normal K and 1/20 normal P concentration), and LPLK (1/20 normal P and K concentrations). The results showed that the mesophyll cells had a relatively complete nuclear and chloroplast structures, and the antioxidant enzymes of the plants were significantly reduced under the HPHK treatment. Compared to the LP treatments (LPHK and LPLK), the HPHK treatment was found to have the following potential effects: effectively optimize plant configuration; promote leaf development (Pn, E, Ci, and Tr, chlorophyll, and leaf area index); significantly increase the N-metabolism-related enzyme activity of leaves and roots and the accumulation of N in the plant in the main growth stages; and significantly increase the rice yield and N-related efficiency. In conclusion, the HPHK treatment was found to be beneficial in improving the plant configuration, promoting photosynthetic N metabolism, and increasing grain yield and N-related utilization efficiency. Northeast China is an important commercial grain base for China, but also the largest japonica rice production area. However, N, and K fertilizer application and unreasonable application times are prominent contradictions that restrict the development of japonica rice. This study aimed to investigate how to rationally apply N and K fertilizers to affect grain filling and ultimately increase the quality of the rice. In this field study, two N application levels and three K application ratios were set in 2020 and 2021 using Shennong 265 (SN265) and Meifengdao 61 (MF61). We found that the final seed growth and filling rate of SN265 were higher than those of MF61, and their filling characteristics were slow in the early stage and fast in the later stage, with large fluctuations. Appropriate reductions and increases of N and K fertilizer applications, respectively, in the early stage could improve grain filling. Compared with SN265, MF61 had a 3.2% increase in head rice rate, lower amylose and protein content, a decrease of chalkiness degree and chalkiness percentage by 23.96 and 34.00%, respectively, and more reasonable protein components. With the N application increase, the processing quality improved, the amylose and protein content and chalkiness increased, the protein components increased except for the milled rice glutelin, and the rice taste value decreased. At low N levels, increasing the proportion of K application was consistent with the effect of increasing N. The taste value of SN265 decreased linearly with the increase in the ratio of N application to pre-application of K, the highest taste value was obtained when the N fertilizer was applied at a rate of 180 kg ha−1, and the ratio of before and after K fertilizer application was about 1:2. The taste value of MF61 decreased linearly with the N application increase and showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing with the K application increase in the early stage. The taste peak gradually shifted back with the N application increase, and the highest taste value was obtained when N fertilizer was applied at 180 kg ha−1; the ratio of before and after K fertilizer application was about 3:2. By constructing the grain-filling quality evaluation system, the characteristic parameters of superior and inferior grains at the early and late stages of grain filling, respectively, greatly affected the rice taste value. Additionally, the percentage of the rice grain weight at the maximum grain-filling rate to the final rice grain weight (I) of superior grains, glutelin content, and value of the RVA profile characteristics were all critical reference indicators for rice taste quality.
