As a promising candidate for altermagnet, CrSb possesses a distinctive compensated spin split band structure that could bring groundbreaking concepts to the field of spintronics. In this work, we have grown high-quality CrSb single crystals and comprehensively investigated their electronic and magneto-transport properties. We have observed large, positive, and non-saturated magnetoresistance (MR) in CrSb, which well obeys Kohler's rule, indicating its classic Lorentz scattering origins. Remarkably, a nonlinear magnetic field dependence of Hall effect resembling the spontaneous anomalous Hall is identified over a wide temperature range. After careful analysis of the transport data, we conclude the non-linearity mainly stems from the incorporation of different carriers in the magnetoconductivity. According to the Fermi surface analyses of CrSb, we applied the three-carrier model to fit the conductivity data, yielding good agreement. The extracted carrier concentration and mobility indicates that CrSb behaves more like a semimetal, with the highest mobility reaching 3*103 cm2V-1s-1. Furthermore, calculations using the semiclassical Boltzmann transport theory have successfully reproduced the main features of the experimental MR and Hall effect in CrSb. These exceptional transport properties make CrSb unique for applications in spintronics as an altermagnet.

Graph unlearning technology has become increasingly important since the advent of the `right to be forgotten' and the growing concerns about the privacy and security of artificial intelligence. Graph unlearning aims to quickly eliminate the effects of specific data on graph neural networks (GNNs). However, most existing deterministic graph unlearning frameworks follow a balanced partition-submodel training-aggregation paradigm, resulting in a lack of structural information between subgraph neighborhoods and redundant unlearning parameter calculations. To address this issue, we propose a novel Graph Structure Mapping Unlearning paradigm (GSMU) and a novel method based on it named Community-centric Graph Eraser (CGE). CGE maps community subgraphs to nodes, thereby enabling the reconstruction of a node-level unlearning operation within a reduced mapped graph. CGE makes the exponential reduction of both the amount of training data and the number of unlearning parameters. Extensive experiments conducted on five real-world datasets and three widely used GNN backbones have verified the high performance and efficiency of our CGE method, highlighting its potential in the field of graph unlearning.

In recommender systems, latent variables can cause user-item interaction data to deviate from true user preferences. This biased data is then used to train recommendation models, further amplifying the bias and ultimately compromising both recommendation accuracy and user satisfaction. Instrumental Variable (IV) methods are effective tools for addressing the confounding bias introduced by latent variables; however, identifying a valid IV is often challenging. To overcome this issue, we propose a novel data-driven conditional IV (CIV) debiasing method for recommender systems, called CIV4Rec. CIV4Rec automatically generates valid CIVs and their corresponding conditioning sets directly from interaction data, significantly reducing the complexity of IV selection while effectively mitigating the confounding bias caused by latent variables in recommender systems. Specifically, CIV4Rec leverages a variational autoencoder (VAE) to generate the representations of the CIV and its conditional set from interaction data, followed by the application of least squares to derive causal representations for click prediction. Extensive experiments on two real-world datasets, Movielens-10M and Douban-Movie, demonstrate that our CIV4Rec successfully identifies valid CIVs, effectively reduces bias, and consequently improves recommendation accuracy.

In recommender systems, popularity and conformity biases undermine recommender effectiveness by disproportionately favouring popular items, leading to their over-representation in recommendation lists and causing an unbalanced distribution of user-item historical data. We construct a causal graph to address both biases and describe the abstract data generation mechanism. Then, we use it as a guide to develop a novel Debiased Contrastive Learning framework for Mitigating Dual Biases, called DCLMDB. In DCLMDB, both popularity bias and conformity bias are handled in the model training process by contrastive learning to ensure that user choices and recommended items are not unduly influenced by conformity and popularity. Extensive experiments on two real-world datasets, Movielens-10M and Netflix, show that DCLMDB can effectively reduce the dual biases, as well as significantly enhance the accuracy and diversity of recommendations.

Popular methods usually use a degradation model in a supervised way to learn a watermark removal model. However, it is true that reference images are difficult to obtain in the real world, as well as collected images by cameras suffer from noise. To overcome these drawbacks, we propose a perceptive self-supervised learning network for noisy image watermark removal (PSLNet) in this paper. PSLNet depends on a parallel network to remove noise and watermarks. The upper network uses task decomposition ideas to remove noise and watermarks in sequence. The lower network utilizes the degradation model idea to simultaneously remove noise and watermarks. Specifically, mentioned paired watermark images are obtained in a self supervised way, and paired noisy images (i.e., noisy and reference images) are obtained in a supervised way. To enhance the clarity of obtained images, interacting two sub-networks and fusing obtained clean images are used to improve the effects of image watermark removal in terms of structural information and pixel enhancement. Taking into texture information account, a mixed loss uses obtained images and features to achieve a robust model of noisy image watermark removal. Comprehensive experiments show that our proposed method is very effective in comparison with popular convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for noisy image watermark removal. Deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) depend on feedforward and feedback ways to obtain good performance in image denoising. However, how to obtain effective structural information via CNNs to efficiently represent given noisy images is key for complex scenes. In this paper, we propose a cross Transformer denoising CNN (CTNet) with a serial block (SB), a parallel block (PB), and a residual block (RB) to obtain clean images for complex scenes. A SB uses an enhanced residual architecture to deeply search structural information for image denoising. To avoid loss of key information, PB uses three heterogeneous networks to implement multiple interactions of multi-level features to broadly search for extra information for improving the adaptability of an obtained denoiser for complex scenes. Also, to improve denoising performance, Transformer mechanisms are embedded into the SB and PB to extract complementary salient features for effectively removing noise in terms of pixel relations. Finally, a RB is applied to acquire clean images. Experiments illustrate that our CTNet is superior to some popular denoising methods in terms of real and synthetic image denoising. Variational quantum algorithms (VQAs) are considered as one of the most promising candidates for achieving quantum advantages on quantum devices in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era. They have been developed for numerous applications such as image processing and solving linear systems of equations. The application of VQAs can be greatly enlarged if users with limited quantum capabilities can run them on remote powerful quantum computers. But the private data of clients may be leaked to quantum servers in such a quantum cloud model. To solve the problem, a novel quantum homomorphic encryption (QHE) scheme which is client-friendly and suitable for VQAs is constructed for quantum servers to calculate encrypted data. Then delegated VQAs are proposed based on the given QHE scheme, where the server can train the ansatz circuit using the client's data even without knowing the real input and the output of the client. Furthermore, a delegated variational quantum classifier to identify handwritten digit images is given as a specific example of delegated VQAs and simulated on the cloud platform of Original Quantum to show its feasibility., Comment: 12 pages, 15 figures

Self-Attention Mechanism (SAM) is good at capturing the internal connections of features and greatly improves the performance of machine learning models, espeacially requiring efficient characterization and feature extraction of high-dimensional data. A novel Quantum Self-Attention Network (QSAN) is proposed for image classification tasks on near-term quantum devices. First, a Quantum Self-Attention Mechanism (QSAM) including Quantum Logic Similarity (QLS) and Quantum Bit Self-Attention Score Matrix (QBSASM) is explored as the theoretical basis of QSAN to enhance the data representation of SAM. QLS is employed to prevent measurements from obtaining inner products to allow QSAN to be fully implemented on quantum computers, and QBSASM as a result of the evolution of QSAN to produce a density matrix that effectively reflects the attention distribution of the output. Then, the framework for one-step realization and quantum circuits of QSAN are designed for fully considering the compression of the measurement times to acquire QBSASM in the intermediate process, in which a quantum coordinate prototype is introduced as well in the quantum circuit for describing the mathematical relation between the output and control bits to facilitate programming. Ultimately, the method comparision and binary classification experiments on MNIST with the pennylane platform demonstrate that QSAN converges about 1.7x and 2.3x faster than hardware-efficient ansatz and QAOA ansatz respevtively with similar parameter configurations and 100% prediction accuracy, which indicates it has a better learning capability. QSAN is quite suitable for fast and in-depth analysis of the primary and secondary relationships of image and other data, which has great potential for applications of quantum computer vision from the perspective of enhancing the information extraction ability of models.

Existing unsupervised hash learning is a kind of attribute-centered calculation. It may not accurately preserve the similarity between data. This leads to low down the performance of hash function learning. In this paper, a hash algorithm is proposed with a hyper-class representation. It is a two-steps approach. The first step finds potential decision features and establish hyper-class. The second step constructs hash learning based on the hyper-class information in the first step, so that the hash codes of the data within the hyper-class are as similar as possible, as well as the hash codes of the data between the hyper-classes are as different as possible. To evaluate the efficiency, a series of experiments are conducted on four public datasets. The experimental results show that the proposed hash algorithm is more efficient than the compared algorithms, in terms of mean average precision (MAP), average precision (AP) and Hamming radius 2 (HAM2)

It has been proven that Boson sampling is a much promising model of optical quantum computation, which has been applied to designing quantum computer successfully, such as "Jiuzhang". However, the meaningful randomness of Boson sampling results, whose correctness and significance were proved from a specific quantum mechanical distribution, has not been utilized or exploited. In this research, Boson sampling is applied to design a novel Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) by fully exploiting the randomness of Boson sampling results, and its prototype system is constructed with the programmable silicon photonic processor, which can generate uniform and unbiased random sequences and overcome the shortcomings of the existing discrete QRNGs such as source-related, high demand for the photon number resolution capability of the detector and slow self-detection generator speed. Boson sampling is implemented as a random entropy source, and random bit strings with satisfactory randomness and uniformity can be obtained after post-processing the sampling results. It is the first approach for applying the randomness of Boson sampling results to develop a practical prototype system for actual tasks, and the experiment results demonstrate the designed Boson sampling-based QRNG prototype system pass 15 tests of the NIST SP 800-22 statistical test component, which prove that Boson sampling has great potential for practical applications with desirable performance besides quantum advantage., Comment: 14 pages, 8 figures

CNNs with strong learning abilities are widely chosen to resolve super-resolution problem. However, CNNs depend on deeper network architectures to improve performance of image super-resolution, which may increase computational cost in general. In this paper, we present an enhanced super-resolution group CNN (ESRGCNN) with a shallow architecture by fully fusing deep and wide channel features to extract more accurate low-frequency information in terms of correlations of different channels in single image super-resolution (SISR). Also, a signal enhancement operation in the ESRGCNN is useful to inherit more long-distance contextual information for resolving long-term dependency. An adaptive up-sampling operation is gathered into a CNN to obtain an image super-resolution model with low-resolution images of different sizes. Extensive experiments report that our ESRGCNN surpasses the state-of-the-arts in terms of SISR performance, complexity, execution speed, image quality evaluation and visual effect in SISR.
