Abstract The development of nanomaterials for delivering natural compounds has emerged as a promising approach for atherosclerosis therapy. However, premature drug release remains a challenge. Here, we present a ROS-responsive biomimetic nanocomplex co-loaded with Geniposide (GP) and Emodin (EM) in nanoliposome particles (LP NPs) for targeted atherosclerosis therapy. The nanocomplex, hybridized with the macrophage membrane (Møm), effectively evades immune system clearance and targets atherosclerotic plaques. A modified thioketal (TK) system responds to ROS-rich plaque regions, triggering controlled drug release. In vitro, the nanocomplex inhibits endothelial cell apoptosis and macrophage lipid accumulation, restores endothelial cell function, and promotes cholesterol effluxion. In vivo, it targets ROS-rich atherosclerotic plaques, reducing plaque area ROS levels and restoring endothelial cell function, consequently promoting cholesterol outflow. Our study demonstrates that ROS-responsive biomimetic nanocomplexes co-delivering GP and EM exert a synergistic effect against endothelial cell apoptosis and lipid deposition in macrophages, offering a promising dual-cell therapy modality for atherosclerosis regression.

The pupose of this review was to explore the application of machine learning in the realm of flavor molecule research, particularly in the analysis of the flavor of Jasmine tea. The study of flavor molecules is fundamental to understand and optimize the taste and quality of food, especially tea. The introduction of machine learning technology has opened new horizons for the identification and analysis of flavor molecules. This paper firstly outlined the basic concepts and research methods of flavor molecules, and a detailed discussion on the application of machine learning in deciphering the relationships between molecular structures and flavor characteristics, as well as in the analysis, prediction and optimization of the flavor and intelligent processing of Jasmine tea and other applications, put forward the research prospect. Thereby, this review could enhance the quality of Jasmine tea and provide technical support for the further development of the tea industry.

Food traceability is an important means to ensure food quality and safety. For the purpose of providing a reference for future research on food traceability in China, a comprehensive bibliometric and visual analysis of papers concerning global food traceability included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database from 2001 to 2022 was performed. The results showed that 3 020 authors from 1 136 research institutions in 80 countries/regions published their research on food traceability in 255 journals, indicating frequent cross-national and cross-regional cooperation and cross-disciplinary integration. China, Italy, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands produced a large volume of research and built strong cooperation. The overall quality of food traceability research in Italy, the United States, the Netherlands, and Spain was high. The research fields were concentrated in food science and technology, chemistry, agriculture, and engineering. Additionally, many research achievements were made in the fields of computer science, ecology and environmental science, nutrition and dietetics. The research focuses included food quality and safety, food supply chain management, geographical origin, traceability technology, food authentication and certification, and willingness to pay. In the future, the academic frontier will focus on three aspects: intelligent food traceability system based on Industry 4.0, food authentication and detection technology represented by genomics and next-generation sequencing technology, and the mechanisms of the motivation of participants, interest game and premium payment in food traceability system.

In order to explore the wake characteristics of non-ducted and ducted propellers in oblique inflow with a large drift angle, based on the delayed detached eddy simulation, a numerical simulation of non-ducted and ducted propellers in oblique inflow is conducted with an advance coefficient (J=0.4) and a large drift angle (β=45°, 60°). It is found that the deflection degree of the non-ducted propeller wake is higher than that of the ducted propeller. However, the overall distribution area of the wake vortex behind the ducted propeller is kinked. The wake field in the oblique flow shows its complexity, and the evolution process of vortices on the windward side differs from that on the leeward side. The above characteristic of the non-ducted propeller is more prominent. At the same time, the leading edge of the nozzle on the leeward side will produce local shedding vortices and transmit to the downstream due to flow separation. Part of the kinetic energy of the ducted propeller is converted into the nozzle thrust, which makes the turbulence kinetic energy of the wake lower than that of the non-ducted propeller. This phenomenon is more evident with the increase in the drift angle. Compared with the non-ducted propeller, the ducted propeller can maintain a better handling stability in large-angle oblique flow. This paper analyzes the influence of large-angle oblique inflow on the non-ducted and ducted propellers from the perspective of wake field characteristics and explores the theoretical basis for the ducted propeller to maintain a better handling stability in oblique flow.

For resolving the major problems of the optimization of the formula of resuscitation and the basis for circular decision-making in the treatment of anesthesia and sedation-analgesia in inital phase post-burn, we propose to use a cycle assessment method that combines urine output with circulation-oxygenation quantitative indexes to carry out cycle assessment. Here, we introduced the background and theoretical and practical basis of combining different dimensions of immediate and dynamic circulation to promote more clinical research on circulation assessment methods, so as to make necessary preparations for the future update of fluid resuscitation formula in initial phase post-burn.

ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate the association between eating out frequency and taste preferences among urban Chinese adults.MethodsA convenient sampling method was employed to select 1 957 adult residents aged 18 to 65 from four urban areas with complete survey data on eating out frequency and taste preferences. The study analyzed the current patterns of eating out and taste preferences and used a multifactor logistic regression model to assess the correlation between eating out frequency and taste preferences.ResultsThe study found that 35.8% of participants ate out less than once a week， 33.5% ate out 1-3 times a week， 18.3% ate out 4-6 times a week， and 12.4% ate out seven or more times a week. Gender differences were observed in taste preferences， with men having significantly higher rates of salty and oily taste preferences compared to women， while women had a higher preference rate of sweet taste. After controlling for relevant confounding factors， urban female residents who ate out 1-3 times a week had a 59% increased risk of salty taste preference （OR = 1.59） compared to those who ate out less than once a week. Similarly， urban female residents who ate out 1-3 times a week， 4-6 times a week， and seven or more times a week had an increased risk of sweet taste preference by 51% （OR = 1.51）， 71% （OR = 1.71）， and 77% （OR = 1.77）， respectively. Moreover， urban female residents who ate out 1-3 times a week and seven or more times a week had an increased risk of spicy taste preference by 54% （OR = 1.54） and 78% （OR = 1.78）， respectively. Compared with urban male residents who ate out less than one time a week， urban male residents who ate out 4-6 times a week have an increased risk of oily and spicy tastes by 61% （OR=1.61） and 85% （OR=1.85）， respectively.ConclusionThe study suggests that the frequency of eating out among urban residents may be associated with their taste preferences. Therefore， there is a need to enhance nutrition education and awareness to encourage the development of healthier eating habits.

BackgroundSolid-polymer electrolyte (SPE) water electrolysis has been widely used to concentrate low-level environmental tritium for measurements. It has the advantages of electrolyte elimination, infinite reduction ratio, high current, safety, and environmental friendliness. However, the use of high-activity tritium samples for the calibration of its tritium enrichment factor Et causes a tritium memory effect in the system.PurposeThis study aims to reduce the tritium contamination caused by high-activity tritium samples during calibration.MethodsFirst, the deuterium method (DM) was used to calibrate the prepared SPE-based tritium enrichment system. The strong correlation between the tritium-to-protium (β) and deuterium-to-protium separation factors (α) during the electrolysis was determined to obtain the electrolytic cell constant, k = αβ-1/βα-1. Then, based on the deuterium enrichment factor Ed, the tritium enrichment factor (Ed)k of the SPE-based tritium enrichment system was determined. Finally, the influence factors of the k-value were analyzed, and the tritium enrichment factors derived via low-level tritium measurements using the DM and spike-proxy method (SPM) were compared.ResultsThe value of k is approximately 1.088 9, with a slight variation of 0.89% among cells. The k-value depends on the electrode material, but it is almost independent of the initial volume of water.ConclusionsThe k-value can be used as a constant for calibration of the tritium enrichment factor for the same types of electrolyzer with high accuracy and precision.

Abstract PCSK9, which is closely related to atherosclerosis, is significantly expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). Moreover, Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin type 9 (PCSK9) mediated phenotypic transformation, abnormal proliferation, and migration of VSMCs play key roles in accelerating atherosclerosis. In this study, by utilizing the significant advantages of nano-materials, a biomimetic nanoliposome loading with Evolocumab (Evol), a PCSK9 inhibitor, was designed to alleviate atherosclerosis. In vitro results showed that (Lipo + M)@E NPs up-regulated the levels of α-SMA and Vimentin, while inhibiting the expression of OPN, which finally result in the inhibition of the phenotypic transition, excessive proliferation, and migration of VSMCs. In addition, the long circulation, excellent targeting, and accumulation performance of (Lipo + M)@E NPs significantly decreased the expression of PCSK9 in serum and VSMCs within the plaque of ApoE−/− mice.

Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS)-based metabolomics was used to investigate primary metabolites in ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits from three production regions in Guizhou province. Multivariate statistical analyses such as principal component analysis (PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) as well as metabolic pathway analysis were employed to explore the effect of the geographical origin on the primary metabolites of ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits. The results showed that a total of 307 metabolites were identified, and the geographic affected the type and content of metabolites in ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits. Meanwhile, 13 differential metabolites were identified between ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits from Liangtian and Liuma, and 49 differential metabolites were identified in ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits from Huishui versus Liuma, and Huishui versus Liangtian. In addition, the OPLS-DA results showed a clear discrimination between ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits from different geographical origins, and the samples showed an obvious clustering distribution, indicating that the geographical origin had a profound impact on the primary metabolites of ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits. Metabolic pathway analysis showed that the major mechanism for the difference in the primary metabolites of ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits from different production areas lay in the metabolism of amino acids, and it was found that the geographical origin imposed the most significant impact on amino acids. The results from this study can provide a theoretical basis for identifying and tracing the geographical origin of ‘Fengtang’ plum fruits.

At present, low-cost Red Green Blue Depth (RGB-D) sensors are mainly used in indoor robot environment perception, but the depth information obtained by RGB-D cameras has problems such as poor accuracy and high noise, and the generated 3D color point cloud map has low accuracy. In order to solve these problems, this article proposes a vision sensor-based point cloud map generation algorithm for robot indoor navigation. The aim is to obtain a more accurate point cloud map through visual SLAM and Kalman filtering visual-inertial navigation attitude fusion algorithm. The results show that in the positioning speed test data of the fusion algorithm in this study, the average time-consuming of camera tracking is 23.4 ms, which can meet the processing speed requirement of 42 frames per second. The yaw angle error of the fusion algorithm is the smallest, and the ATE test values of the algorithm are smaller than those of the Inertial measurement unit and Simultaneous-Localization-and-Mapping algorithms. This research algorithm can make the mapping process more stable and robust. It can use visual sensors to make more accurate route planning, and this algorithm improves the indoor positioning accuracy of the robot. In addition, the research algorithm can also obtain a dense point cloud map in real time, which provides a more comprehensive idea for the research of robot indoor navigation point cloud map generation.

Flotation is the main method to improve the quality and reduce the impurity of calcium magnesium phosphate ore. However, the similar surface physical and chemical properties of dolomite and fluorapatite make it difficult to separate efficiently. With the development of quantum mechanics and computational chemistry, molecular simulation has gradually become an effective tool for studying the flotation of calcium magnesium phosphate ore. It provides a new method for studying the crystal chemical properties of the main minerals in calcium-magnesium phosphate ore and the interaction between mineral interfaces. On the basis of reviewing the research, especially the wettability, surface electricity and surface adsorption characteristics, this paper summarizes the methods of molecular simulation, and the application of density functional theory(DFT)and molecular dynamics simulation(MDS)in the flotation separation of fluorapatite and dolomite, including the chemical properties of crystals, the interaction of water molecules and reagents with mineral surfaces. In addition, the application prospects of molecular simulation in phosphate ore flotation research are also discussed.

Objective: This study aimed to solve the problem of cigarette flavoring technology that the surface taste of splicing paper weakens over time. Methods: A rapid method for the simultaneous determination of two kinds of sweeteners was established based on ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC). The change of the content of the sweetener on the surface of the tipping paper was analyzed, and the induced migration experiment was used to analyze the migration of sweeteners. The surface porosity, air permeability and surface water absorption of aluminized splice paper were analyzed by scanning electron microscope, air permeability tester and surface water absorption tester. Results: A method for rapid determination of two kinds of sweeteners simultaneously was established by UHPLC. The results of induced migration experiment showed that the sweeteners in the tipping paper migrated from the surface to the inside of the paper gradually. The results of scanning electron microscope, air permeability tester and surface water absorption tester showed that pores distributed on the surface of the aluminized tipping paper, and the high air permeability thereby led to the surface water absorption capacity. Therefore, the sweetener migrated in the aluminized tipping paper. After 42 days of induced migration, the migration rates of acesulfame and saccharin sodium in the paper were 48.47% and 49.65%, respectively. Conclusion: The pores and cracks spreading on the surface of the aluminized tipping paper made it have high permeability and strong water absorption, and the concentration differences between the two sides of the paper resulted in a conducive migration of the sweeteners.

Abstract To investigate the bacterial epidemiology of blood cultures taken during the treatment of critically ill burn patients, the use of antibiotics at admission and before the observation of positive blood cultures, and their effect on prognosis. A retrospective study method was used. From January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2019, burn patients who met the inclusion criteria and were treated at the Burn Department, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, were enrolled in the study. Data were collected from the patients’ electronic medical records. General patient information, including length of hospital stay, length of intensive care unit (ICU) stay, in-hospital mortality, the bacteria epidemiological characteristics of blood cultures, and the use of antibiotics within 24 h after admission and before a positive blood culture was observed, was collected. Independent sample t tests and χ 2 tests were used to compare the effects of a positive blood culture and the use of appropriate antibiotics within 24 h after admission and before the observation of a positive blood culture on prognosis. (1) The three most frequently detected bacteria in the blood cultures were Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii, and the amount of K. pneumoniae detected increased gradually. (2) Compared with the group of patients who were negative for bloodstream infection , the positive bloodstream infection group had a larger total body burn surface area (TBSA) (t = − 5.097, P = 0.000) and third-degree burn area (t = − 5.133, P = 0.000), a significantly longer length of hospital stay (t = 3.003, P = 0.003) and the length of ICU stay (t = 4.258, P = 0.000), and a significantly higher rate of in-hospital mortality (χ 2 = 8.485, P = 0.004). When K. pneumoniae was detected, the length of hospital stay (t = 2.148, P = 0.035) and the length of ICU stay (t = 2.880, P = 0.005) were significantly prolonged. (3) The two antibiotics that were most frequently used in patients with acute burns within 24 h after admission were lincomycin (90 cases, 29.32%) and carbapenems (79 cases, 25.73%). Comparing the clinical characteristics of the lincomycin group and the carbapenem group, the TBSA (t = − 3.34, P = 0.001) and the third-degree burn area (t = − 6.08, P = 0.000) of the patients in the carbapenem group were larger, and the length of hospital stay (t = − 2.136, P = 0.035) and length of ICU stay (t = − 5.18, P = 0.000) were longer, but the difference in in-hospital mortality was not statistically significant (χ2 = 1.983, P = 0.159). (4) Comparing the group with appropriate initial antibiotic use within 24 h of admission to the inappropriate use group, the TBSA (t = − 0.605, P = 0.547), the third-degree burn area (t = 0.348, P = 0.729), the length of hospital stay (t = − 0.767, P = 0.445), the length of ICU stay (t = − 0.220, P = 0.827) and in-hospital mortality (χ 2 = 1.271, P = 0.260) were not significantly different. (5) Comparing the group with appropriate antibiotic use before a positive blood culture was observed to the group with inappropriate antibiotic use, the TBSA (t = − 0.418, P = 0.677), the third-degree burn area (t = 0.266, P = 0.791), the length of hospital stay, the length of ICU stay (t = 0.995, P = 0.322) and in-hospital mortality (χ2 = 1.274, P = 0.259) were not significantly different. We found that patients with a positive blood culture had a larger burn area and a worse prognosis; that the greater the amount of K. pneumoniae in the bloodstream of burn patients was, the longer the hospital and ICU stays were; that whether appropriate antibiotics were administered to acute critical burn patients 24 h after admission had no effect on the prognosis; and that whether appropriate antibiotics were administered before a positive blood culture was observed had no effect on prognosis.

Objective: In order to efficiently extract resveratrol and to maintain the good antioxidant capacity. Methods: Resveratrol was extracted from grape skin residue using intermittent ultrasonic assisted enzymatic extraction. The response surface method （RSM） was utilized to optimize the extraction process, and the antioxidant capacity of resveratrol were analyzed. Results: The experiment results indicated that under the condition of buffer solution pH of 5.0, cellulase dosage of 1.3% and enzymolysis temperature of 57 ℃, the resveratrol obtained better extraction effect after intermittent assisted treatment with 300 W ultrasonic waves for accumulatively 43 min, and the average yield could reach 0.293%. The antioxidant analysis found that the resveratrol had obvious scavenging effect on DPPH·, ·OH and ABTS·, as well the total antioxidant capacity was better. Conclusion: The resveratrol extracted by intermittent ultrasonic assisted cellulase method, both the yield and antioxidant capacity have been greatly improved comparing with the single enzymatic method or continuous ultrasonic extraction.

Minimally invasive is a kind of idea, emphasizing on reducing tissue damage as much as possible to keep the autonomous function of the body, including the innovation of the methods, surgical approach and surgical scope. With the expansion of the concept and the innovation of technology, minimally invasive technology has gradually occupied an important position in the surgical treatment of gynecological malignant tumors. This article intends to discuss and summarize the problems related to minimally invasive surgery in gynecological malignant tumors.

Objective To explore the quality of life and its influencing factors in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods The Chinese Atrial Fibrillation Effect on Quality-of-Life(AFEQT) questionnaire was used to investigate the quality of life in AF patients who had been treated in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases of 2 tertiary Class A hospitals from June 2016 to March 2021. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors related to the quality of life in the patients. Results A total of 321 AF patients were investigated. The median of total score for quality of life was 79.86 (interquartile range: 70.25, 89.81) in the AF patients. Multivariate logistic regression analysis on different dimensions of quality of life found that smoking history, elevated thrombin time (TT), total protein and D-dimer levels were risk factors in the symptom dimension, while a history of thyroid dysfunction was a protective factor; risk factors in the daily activity dimension included advanced age (≥65 years), hypertension history, stroke history, history of warfarin use, and prolonged TT, while alcohol consumption may be protective factors; the patients with history of hypertension, warfarin and statin use, and elevated monocyte (MONO) count and prolonged prothrombin time (PT) had significantly lower scores in the dimension of treatment of worried, while an activated partial thromboplastin time ratio (APTT-ratio) was a protective factor in the treatment of the worry score; prolonged TT was a risk factor for decreased treatment satisfaction scores; a history of novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs) and elevated APTT-ratio were protective factors for decreased treatment satisfaction scores; risk factors for decreased overall quality of life scores included advanced age (≥75 years), history of stroke, warfarin and statin use, and D-dimer level, while alcohol consumption and higher neutrophil count were protective factors. Conclusion Advanced age (≥65 years), smoking history, warfarin and statin history, hypertension, stroke history, elevated MONO, TP, TT, PT, and D-dimer level affect quality of life in AF patients in different dimensions.

PurposeThe incidence of seroma and postoperative pain after Gilbert type III inguinal hernia repair is high. To reduce postoperative complications, this study investigated the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic closed hernia ring combined with a patch repair for Gilbert type III indirect inguinal hernia.MethodsThrough a prospective randomized controlled study, a total of 193 patients with Gilbert type III indirect inguinal hernia admitted to Nanchong Central Hospital affiliated with Chuanbei Medical College from May 2020 to December 2021 were selected and randomly divided into the inner ring closed group (85 patients) and the inner ring non-closed group (95 patients). The patients in both groups underwent laparoscopic tension-free repair of their inguinal hernias. General information such as operative time, postoperative hospital stay, and hospital cost were compared between the two groups, and the patients were followed up at 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days and then 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery to compare complications such as incidence of seroma, volume of the seroma fluid, incidence of pain, and visual analogue scale (VAS) pain score.ResultsThere was no conversion to open procedures in any of the patients. The operation time of the closed group was significantly longer than that of the non-closed group (64.2 ± 12.2 vs. 55.3 ± 9.5 min, P 0.05). The postoperative follow-up period was 3–20 months, and no chronic pain or recurrence occurred during the postoperative follow-up period in either group.ConclusionsClosure of the hernia ring is safe and effective for laparoscopic hernia repair for Gilbert type III inguinal hernia, and it significantly reduces the incidence of postoperative seroma and further reduces the postoperative pain without increasing the risk of postoperative infection and recurrence.

Multiferroic materials attracted much attention because of magnetoelectric (ME) coupling effect. Herein, a typical single-phase multiferroic BiFeO3 (BFO) was co-doped at A and B sites by solid-state method, and Bi0.78La0.08Sm0.14Fe0.85Ti0.15O3 (BLSFTO) ceramics were prepared at different sintering temperatures (940, 960, 980 and, 1000°C). The effects of sintering temperature on the microstructure, morphology, dielectric, ferroelectric and magnetic properties were systematically studied. The remanent polarization (Pr) and coercive field (Ec) of the BLSFTO ceramics show a non-linear change with sintering temperature. The remanent polarization reaches maximum (0.0560 μC/cm2) in the sample sintered at 1000°C, whereas the maximum Ec of 1.32 kV/cm was obtained in the specimen sintered at 940°C. The remanent magnetization (Mr) increases with the increase of sintering temperature, while change of the saturation magnetization with sintering temperature is negligible. When BLSFTO specimen is sintered at 1000°C, Mr reaches the maximal value of 0.1344 emu/g.

In this paper, barium ferrite powders were synthesized by sol-gel method, calcined at different temperatures, and on this basis the corresponding ceramics were prepared. The effects of calcination temperature on the structure, magnetic, dielectric and multiferroic properties of BaFe12O19 ceramics were studied. XRD results confirmed similarity between powders and ceramics, where dominant phase is BaFe12O19 and a small amount of an apparent BaFe2O4 impurity phase was formed at lower calcination temperature. The impurity BaFe2O4 phase is the main reason for decreasing powder magnetization. The maximum dielectric constant of 100 (at 10 kHz) and maximum remanent polarization, remanent magnetization and saturation magnetization of 0.46 μC/cm2, 47.37 emu/g and 79.96 emu/g, respectively, were obtained in the barium ferrite ceramics prepared from the powder calcined at 1100°C. This research could be the basis for the study of single-phase multiferroic materials and the development of multi-order electronic devices.

Objective To investigate the effect of diosmetin on the proliferation, apoptosis and migration of colorectal cancer cells, and further to analyze whether its mechanism is related to the regulation of STX17-AS1/miR-383-5p axis. Methods Cell counting kit (CCK-8) assay, colony formation test, scratch healing test, flow cytometry and real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) were used to analyze the effects of diosmetin (10, 20 and 40 μmol/L) on cell viability, colony formation, scratch healing rate, apoptosis, and STX17-AS1 and miR-383-5p expression in HCT116 cells. The relative expression levels of STX17-AS1 and miR-383-5p in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of 29 patients with colorectal cancer in our hospital were assessed using RT-qPCR. Dual luciferase reporter assay system was employed to analyze the targeting relationship between STX17-AS1 and miR-383-5p. The small interfering RNA of STX17-AS1 and miR-383-5p mimics of STX17-AS1 were transfected into HCT116 cells respectively, and the effects of STX17-AS1 inhibition or miR-383-5p overexpression on the proliferation, apoptosis and migration of HCT116 cells were also analyzed. Results Diosmetin treatment (10, 20, 40 μmol/L) significantly reduced cell viability, colony formation numbers and scratch healing rate (P < 0.05), increased cell apoptotic rate (P < 0.05), decreased STX17-AS1 expression level (P < 0.05), and increased the expression level of miR-383-5p in HCT116 cells (P < 0.05). The expression level of STX17-AS1 was significantly higher (P < 0.05), and that of miR-383-5p was significantly lower in the colorectal cancer tissues than the adjacent tissues (P < 0.05). STX17-AS1 directly bound to miR-383-5p. Inhibition of STX17-AS1 significantly reduced cell viability, colony formation numbers and scratch healing rate (P < 0.05), increased cell apoptotic rate (P < 0.05), and enhanced the miR-383-5p expression level in HCT116 cells (P < 0.05). While, miR-383-5p overexpression significantly reduced cell viability, colony formation numbers and scratch healing rate (P < 0.05), and increased cell apoptosis rate in the cells (P < 0.05). Overexpression of STX17-AS1 or inhibition of miR-383-5p significantly weakened the effect of diosmetin on the above indicators of HCT116 cells (P < 0.05). Conclusion Diosmetin inhibits the proliferation and migration of colorectal cancer cells and induces apoptosis by down-regulating the STX17-AS1/miR-383-5p axis

Livelihood vulnerability assessment has become an important policy tool for identifying groups in need of immediate intervention. Based on survey data covering 427 households in the Hulunbuir Grasslands in northern China, an indicator-based livelihood vulnerability assessment system (LVAS) was established by combining the sustainable livelihood framework and the exposure–sensitivity–adaptation framework, which described the livelihood vulnerability of households across the household life cycle in terms of the dimensions of exposure, sensitivity, and adaptation. A multiple linear regression model was used to identify the key variables that determine livelihood vulnerability. The results show that the livelihoods of pastoral households in the Hulunbuir Grasslands are moderately vulnerable overall, with a high level of exposure, a medium level of sensitivity, and a low level of adaptive capacity. As the household life cycle progresses (from the starting period to the empty-nest period), the adaptive capacity of pastoral households gradually decreases, and their livelihood vulnerability increases. The variables that most exacerbate the vulnerability of pastoral households’ livelihoods in this region are policy–ecological risks, climate–disaster risks and socioeconomic risks, and the main ways to reduce vulnerability are to improve these households’ productive capital, diversify their sources of livelihood, and improve their access to information. The results of the study provide empirical support for similar settings in different regions worldwide that aim to achieve a “win–win” situation of ecological conservation and sustainable livelihood development.

Deep lifelong learning models can learn new information continuously while minimizing the impact on previously acquired knowledge, and thus adapt to changing data. However, existing optimization approaches for deep lifelong learning cannot simultaneously satisfy the following conditions: unrestricted learning of new data, no use of old data, and no increase in model parameters. To address this problem, a deep lifelong learning optimization algorithm based on dense region fusion (DLLO-DRF) is proposed. This algorithm first obtains models for each stage of lifelong learning, and divides the model parameters for each stage into multiple regions based on the parameter values. Then, based on the dispersion of the parameter distribution, dense regions are dynamically obtained from the divided regions, and the parameters of the dense regions are averaged and fused to optimize the model. Finally, extensive experiments are conducted on the self-labeled transmission line defect dataset, and the results show that DLLO-DRF has the best performance among various comparative algorithms.

Based on the stakeholder theory, this study investigates the relationship between green innovation and supply chain financing using the data of 3490 Chinese listed firms from 2012 to 2019. The results show that green innovation of firms could promote their supply chain financing. And the channel mechanism test indicates that green innovation could improve the peer recognition gained by firms from the industry, thus it would be more convenient for green-oriented firms to obtain financing along the supply chain, especially SOEs. Moreover, after launch of the Green Credit Guideline, the positive relationship between green innovation and supply chain financing became more significant. These findings remain consistent after robustness tests including instrumental variables (IV), propensity score matching (PSM) and replacing variable metrics. Further results present that green innovation in non-heavy pollution firms and firms with high-level environmental disclosure can significantly benefit supply chain financing. Our findings have important implications on how firms’ green efforts affect their short-time financing ability through the supply chain.

The rice granular CaIn2O4/In2O3was successfully synthesized via the electrospinning method using calcium nitrate and indium nitrate as the raw materials, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP-K30) as a template and ethanol as a solvent. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscope (SEM),energy spectrum analysis (EDS),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS) and N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm. The effect of pH value and the initial concentration of methylene blue(MB) on the photocatalytic performance of CaIn2O4/In2O3 was discussed. The results show that the composites consist of orthorhombic CaIn2O4 and cubic In2O3, with particle size of (650±140) nm, energy gap of 3.48 eV and specific surface area of 17.2 m2·g-1. The degradation rate of MB reaches 92% when it is irradiated by simulated sunlight for 120 min and the photocatalysis degradation process fits the first-order kinetic model. Meanwhile, CaIn2O4/In2O3 has an excellent reusability and stability. The coupling of CaIn2O4 and In2O3 enables the photogenerated carriers to be effectively separated and therefore produces CaIn2O4/In2O3 composites with excellent photocatalytic performance.

BACKGROUND Assessment of homogeneity of Environmental Reference Material (ERM) is one of the most important steps for the development of an ERM. The data drift has a serious negative effect on the assessment of homogeneity and uncertainty of ERM. OBJECTIVES To develop the drift correction methods for homogeneity test of ERM. METHODS The drift correction methods were discussed from the aspects of experimental scheme and statistical methods through practical cases. The drift correction methods, such as random analysis, randomized block design, interpolation correction, and trend analysis correction, were introduced in details. RESULTS The t-test method was proposed to judge the significance of data drift. For insignificant drift trend, the random analysis method was useful for the evaluation of uncertainty of homogeneity. If the drift trend was significant, better-corrected results were obtained by using interpolation correction and trend analysis correction methods. For example, after data correction by interpolation correction and trend analysis, the relative standard deviation (RSD) of homogeneity data of Ni in soil decreased from 3.0% to 1.1% and 0.84%, respectively. The absolute value of slope of line decreased from 0.2003mg/kg to 0.02870mg/kg and 4.709×10-5mg/kg. The uncertainties of between-bottle homogeneity of Ni, Cu, Co and Tl decreased by 78% compared with the random analysis method. CONCLUSIONS Data drift correction methods are not effective for long periods of measurement, therefore the experimental scheme of randomized block design method is recommended for homogeneity study.

Objective To investigate the cellular localization of peroxiredoxin 1 (Prdx1) in the central nervous system, and its expression changes and possible mechanisms after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Methods Five 8~10-week old SD rats underwent cerebral perfusion, and the brain tissue was sectioned for immunofluorescence staining to observe the localization of Prdx1 in the neurons, astrocytes and microglia. A total of 35 SD rats were randomly divided into sham group, and ICH for 12 h, and 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 d groups (n=5). The ICH model was established by autologous blood injection in the latter 5 groups, and the sham group was treated with the same amount of normal saline as the control. The expression of Prdx1 at mRNA and protein levels in each group was detected by qRT-PCR and Western blotting. Prdx1 interference plasmid or blank vector were transfected into HeLa cells, and RNA-seq was performed to detect the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in 2 groups of cells. GO analysis was performed on DEGs to predict the possible role of Prdx1 in ICH. Results Immunofluorescence staining showed that Prdx1 was mainly distributed in the NeuN+ neurons in the cortex, while in the striatum, Prdx1 was mainly in the astrocytes. Western blot and qRT-PCR results showed that Prdx1 significantly increased on the 3rd day after ICH (P < 0.05), and gradually decreased with elapse of time. RNA-seq and Go analysis suggested that the DEGs caused by Prdx1 were mainly involved in the inflammatory response, apoptosis, innate immune response, axon development and other pathways associated with secondary injury of ICH. Conclusion Prdx1 has different distribution characteristics in different cerebral regions. After ICH, Prdx1 is significantly elevated, and it may be associated with inflammation, immune response, and axon development in ICH.

BACKGROUND Global harmonious high-quality geochemical data and accompanying maps are reference baselines for quantifying future human-induced or natural environmental changes. OBJECTIVES To ensure the accuracy of geochemical reference values and analysis data, advices were made for laboratory analysis. METHODS The analytical data of Cd, Hg and W from China, USA, Europe and Australia were compared and two analysis data collected 15 years apart from one laboratory in China were also compared. RESULTS All of the cadmium analysis data were consistent with a correlation coefficient of 0.96. Mercury was poorly consistent with a correlation coefficient of 0.74, and tungsten was not comparable with a correlation coefficient of 0.56. The analysis results of cadmium were highly consistent because the analysis method was the same and the detection limit was comparable. The consistency of mercury was poor, especially the low-content mercury, which was significantly different due to different analysis methods and detection limits. Tungsten was not comparable due to different laboratory analysis methods. The prerequisite for recognition of environmental changes (RCenv > REsmpl+RDlab) was that the change value must be larger than the value of field sampling error (REsmpl) and laboratory analysis error (RDlab). Therefore, sampling error and laboratory analysis error must be minimized. CONCLUSIONS Six general guidelines are proposed. (1) The original sample is separated through a 10-mesh sieve and processed to a particle size of less than 200 mesh using a pollution-free method. (2) A total of 71 elements plus other parameters should be determined by well-established multiple analysis methods, e.g., fused glass bead-XRF for major elements and 4-acids ICP-MS and ICP-OES for minor elements in combination with other methods. (3) The method detection limits must be lower than crustal abundance of the chemical elements and reportable data percentage must be more than 90%. (4) The geochemical reference materials used for quality control should contain the reported certified CRM values for all elements. (5) Analytical relative errors for the triplicate samples should be less than 40% (RD ≤ 40%) if concentration of the element is less than 3 times detection limits, and less than 20% (RD ≤ 20%) for the elements with concentration more than 3 times detection limits as well as major elements, Fe-group elements and toxic metals. (6) The total contents of major elements SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, FeO, MnO, MgO, CaO, Na2O, K2O, TiO2, P2O5, H2O+, CO2, SO2 and organic matters or those of SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, FeO, MnO, MgO, CaO, Na2O, K2O, TiO2, P2O5 and LOI should be at 99.3%-100.7%.

In the space rendezvous and docking, real-time measurement of the position and attitude between the visual sensor on the tracking spacecraft and the characteristic target on the target spacecraft is needed, and the premise is to quickly and accurately identify the feature targets. In this paper, a fast recongnition algorithm of four concentric ring feature targets is proposed. Firstly, the algorithm uses the optimized Otsu for image segmentation. Then the contour is extracted by the connected region recognition method. Finally, according to the relationship between the circumference and the area of the circle, the circle is determined, and the least square method is used to fit the circle and extract the center of the feature circle. The experimental results show that the method can recognize feature targets accurately and quickly within 2 m distance, and the computational efficiency to the method is improved by nearly 10 times compared with the pre-optimization algorithm.

BACKGROUND Traditional inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) determination of trace elements such as Ag and Cd in geochemical samples is seriously affected by the matrix effect and multiple polyatomic ions, making it difficult to measure these elements accurately. OBJECTIVES To compare the results of ICP-MS standard mode (STD) and kinetic energy discrimination mode (KED), and determine the valid determination modes of each element. METHODS The samples were digested by HNO3-HF-HClO4, and the residue was dissolved in aqua regia. Under the KED mode, the isotopes with less interference were selected as the determination isotopes. Rh was used as the internal standard element to correct the signal drift, and the sample solution was diluted by 1000. Under these conditions, the matrix effect was minimized. RESULTS The productivity of matrix elements such as Zr and Nb oxides was reduced, and the interference of oxides on Ag and Cd was minimized under the KED mode. The KED mode improved the signal-to-noise ratio and reduced the detection limits of this method with Ag and Cd, detection limits of 0.004mg/kg and 0.005mg/kg, respectively. The detection limits of the other 12 elements were also lower than those of 76 element analysis schemes in a multi-objective geochemical survey. The accuracy of determination of trace elements was significantly better than that of the STD mode. CONCLUSIONS The method has been verified by the first-class national reference material and the analytical results are in good agreement with the certified values. The method provides high-quality data for exploration geochemistry.
