A complex dislocation network on the curved end face of the α precipitate in a Ti-8 wt.% Fe alloy was observed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The Burgers vectors of these dislocations were determined by g ⋅ b contrast analysis, and the planes of the dislocation loops made up of the dislocations were calculated according to a series of TEM images. The interfacial structure was well interpreted by a generalized O-element approach. The determination of the planes of the dislocation loops on the end face implies that the dislocation loops lie in irrational planes rather than slip planes.
