Nano-TiCp/GH3536 composite powders were prepared by mechanical alloying （MA） and thermal plasma spheroidization （TPS） methods. The flowability， bulk density， particle size distribution， sphericity， and microstructure of the composite powders before and after MA-TPS treatment were studied by Hall flow meter，Scott volumeter， XRD， particle size analyzer， scanning electron microscope， and transmission electron microscope. The results show that the preformed powders obtained by MA-5 h treatment are irregular shape powders with non-uniform adhesion of nano-TiC particles on the surface of the GH3536 substrate. Compared with the original GH3536 powders， the number of equiaxed grains in the preformed powders increases and the crystal grains are refined， but the flowability and bulk density decrease.The nano-TiCp/GH3536 composite powders obtained by the second TPS treatment are spherical， and the original irregular nano-TiC particles are spheroidized and uniformly distributed inside the GH3536 substrate. After removing the submicron particles with an average particle size of 183.27 nm， the flowability， bulk density， and sphericity of TPS composite powders are further improved.The TEM images of submicron particles show that the nanoscale GH3536 microspheres are uniformly coated with a layer of TiC， the structure is similar to the core-shell， and spherical TiC particles are found in the powder. The average spherical degree， average particle size， flowability， and bulk density of the nano-TiCp/GH3536 composite powders prepared by the two-step method are 0.965，33.65 μm，17.1 s/50 g，and 4.184 g/cm3， respectively.

ObjectiveTo analyze the research trends and cutting-edge hot spots in the field of multimorbidity in older adults from 2000 to 2023 to provide reference for related research.MethodsWe conducted a search in the Web of Science Core Collection database, specifically looking for articles or reviews in English on multimorbidity in older adults published between January 1, 2000 and October 24, 2023. VOSviewer 1.6.18 software was used to extract the contents in the literature and draw the cooperative network diagram of high-producing countries(≥30 articles) and institutions(≥43 articles) as well as the timeline diagram of high-frequency keywords(≥74 occurrences) co-occurrence relationship. CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software was used to co-occur and cluster analyze the information of authors, research institutions and countries. The "bibliometrix" package in R was used to analyze the evolution of keywords in the literature.ResultsA total of 2590 documents consisting of 2230 Articles and 360 Reviews were obtained. The worldwide publication count significantly increased since 2000. Among the countries, the United States had the highest number of publications (35.02%, 907/2590) and total citations(31 343 times) in this field. The University of Toronto in Canada had the largest number of articles(2.59%, 67/2590). Jenny Ploeg of McMaster University was recognized as the most prolific author(1.24%, 32/2590). When it came to journals, BMC Geriatrics had the highest amount of literature related to multimorbidity(3.82%, 99/2590). The key areas of research in this field included multimorbidity, older adults, frailty, aging, and polypharmacy. Notably, there was growing interest in studying the relationship between multimorbidity and aging in older adults, as well as the impact of frailty and polypharmacy on multimorbidities.ConclusionsIn recent years, research on multimorbidities in the elderly has primarily centered around examining the correlation between comorbidities and aging, as well as exploring the impact of frailty and polypharmacy on individuals with multimorbidities. Future research could delve into primary health care, comprehensive geriatric assessment for older adults with multimorbidities, and maintenance of their overall quality of life.

PurposeLifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol, body weight, physical activity, and diet quality have been associated with the risk of pancreatic cancer. However, studies of their combined association in women are limited.MethodsData on smoking habits, alcohol intake, diet composition, recreational physical activity, body weight, and waist circumference, obtained at recruitment for 136,945 postmenopausal women (aged 50-79 years) participating in the Women's Health Initiative study, were categorized separately, with higher scores for each variable assigned to the categories representing healthier behaviors. The combined healthy lifestyle index (HLI) score, created by summing the scores for each risk factor, was grouped into quartiles. We used multivariable-adjusted Cox regression to estimate hazard ratios (HR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) for pancreatic cancer risk in association with the HLI.ResultsOver an average follow-up period of approximately 16.0 years, 1,119 incident cases of pancreatic cancer were ascertained. Compared to women in the lowest HLI quartile, those in the upper quartiles (qt) had a reduced risk of pancreatic cancer (multivariable-adjusted HRqt3rd 0.83, 95% CI 0.74-0.99; and HRqt4th 0.74, 95% CI 0.62-0.88, respectively, p trend = 0.001). Use of waist circumference instead of BMI in the HLI score yielded similar results. Among women who were either non-diabetic or non-smokers, high HLI was also associated with reduced risk (HRqt4th 0.78, 95% CI 0.65-0.85 and HRqt4th 0.80, 95% CI 0.66-0.97, respectively). Stratification by BMI categories (18.5-  30.0 kg/m2) showed similar results in all groups.ConclusionsOur findings suggest that in postmenopausal women, a healthy lifestyle is associated with reduced risk of pancreatic cancer.
