Abstract

We provide a new proof of Cachazo-Svrcek-Witten rules for tree-level gluonic amplitudes. As a key step, we explicitly show the cancellation of spurious poles originating from the maximally helicity violating vertices in these rules. Abstract

In this paper, we study the Hawking radiation of Dirac particles via tunneling formalism from linearly supertranslated Schwarzschild black hole. We find that the radiation spectrum and the Hawking temperature remain the same as the one without soft hair. We extend the same analysis to the linearly supertranslated Vaidya black hole and find that particles can not tunnel through the horizon from the inside. Abstract

Wheeler's delayed-choice experiment delays the decision to observe either the wave or particle behavior of a photon until after it has entered the interferometer, and the quantum delayed-choice experiment provides the possibility of observing the wave and particle behavior simultaneously by introducing quantum control device. We here propose a modified quantum delayed-choice experiment without quantum control or entanglement assistance, in which a photon can be prepared in a wave-particle superposition state and the morphing behavior of wave-to-particle transition can be observed easily. It is demonstrated that the presented scheme can allow us to rule out classical hidden variable models in a device-independent manner via violating dimension witness. We also extend the scheme to the situation of two degrees of freedom, first constructing a hybrid quantum delayed-choice experiment which enables simultaneous observation of a photon's wave and particle behaviors in different degrees of freedom, and then proposing a scheme to prepare the single-photon wave-particle entanglement. This study is not only meaningful to explore the wave and particle properties of photons, but also provides potential for the research of the single-particle nonlocality from the perspective of the wave-particle degree of freedom., Comment: 17 pages, 5 figures

20. Application of Familial Y-STR Haplotype Mismatch Tolerance in Genealogy Inference

Abstract

Objective To provide a guideline for genealogy inference and family lineage investigation through a study of the mismatch tolerance distribution of Y-STR loci in Chinese Han male lineage. Methods Three Han lineages with clear genetic relationships were selected. YFiler Platinum PCR amplification Kit was used to obtain the typing data of 35 Y-STR loci in male samples. The variation of Y-STR haplotypes in generation inheritance and the mismatch tolerance at 1-7 kinship levels were statistically analyzed. Results Mutations in Y-STR were family-specific with different mutation loci and numbers of mutation in different lineages. Among all the mutations, 66.03% were observed on rapidly and fast mutating loci. At 1-7 kinship levels, the number of mismatch tolerance ranged from 0 to 5 on all 35 Y-STR loci, with a maximum step size of 6. On medium and slow mutant loci, the number of mismatch tolerance ranged from 0 to 2, with a maximum step size of 3; on rapidly and fast mutant loci, the number of mismatch tolerance ranged from 0 to 3, with a maximum step size of 6. Conclusion Combined use of SNP genealogy inference and Y-STR lineage investigation, both 0 and multiple mismatch tolerance need to be considered. Family lineage with 0-3 mismatch tolerance on all 35 Y-STR loci and 0-1 mismatch tolerance on medium and slow loci can be prioritized for screening. When the number of mismatch tolerance is eligible, family lineages with long steps should be carefully excluded. Meanwhile, adding fast mutant loci should also be handled with caution.

33. The efficacy and safety of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia with esketamine after total hip arthroplasty: a randomized controlled trial.

Abstract

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of esketamine-based patient-controlled intravenous analgesia following total hip arthroplasty. Methods: A total of 135 total hip arthroplasty patients were randomly assigned to one of the three treatment groups: esketamine, sufentanil or continuous fascia iliaca compartment block (FICB) group. The primary endpoint was the postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) pain scores at rest and on movement. Secondary endpoints included preoperative 1-day and postoperative 7-day Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores, the satisfaction of patients and surgeons, postoperative 1-month and 3-month Harris function scores, the incidence of adverse reactions. Results: At 48 h post-surgery, the VAS pain scores in the esketamine and FICB groups at rest and on movement were significantly lower than those in the sufentanil group (P < 0.05). The satisfaction of patients in the esketamine group was higher than that in the sufentanil and FICB groups (P = 0.014). The satisfaction of surgeons in the esketamine and FICB groups was higher than that in the sufentanil group (P = 0.002). At postoperative day 7, the SAS scores and SDS scores in the esketamine group were significantly lower than those in the sufentanil and FICB groups (P < 0.05). Compared with the sufentanil group, the postoperative nausea and vomiting, dizziness and total adverse reactions in the esketamine group and FICB group were lower (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Patient-controlled intravenous analgesia with esketamine has the potential to provide good postoperative analgesia for total hip arthroplasty patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions after the operation, improve the satisfaction of patients and surgeons, and significantly improve patients' postoperative mood. Abstract

Summary: In wireless charging systems for electric vehicles, fluctuations in coil mutual inductance can affect both system output power and efficiency. This paper introduces a coil mutual inductance model that accounts for metal shielding material. The formula for coil mutual inductance is derived using Maxwell's equations and boundary conditions. Additionally, the paper presents a tactic for adapting the mutual inductance with the aid of an intelligent optimization algorithm, which is utilized for steadying the mutual inductance of the transmission coil. Lastly, a model of the transmission coil is developed to authenticate the practicality of the mutual inductance equation and the adaptation scheme. Measurement and calculation results indicate that the difference between the calculated value of the mutual inductance formula and the actual mutual inductance value of the coil, following deflection and offset, is below 5%. Moreover, the algorithm, along with the employed adaptation strategy, consistently demonstrates effectiveness in maintaining the mutual inductance value within a predefined range. The temporal efficiency of the algorithm, as measured by the time taken to determine this coordinate position, is consistently under 1 s.
