Job satisfaction among teachers is important for their motivation to effect changes. However, in China, job satisfaction in early childhood education is a pressing issue, which leads to high attrition rates among preschool teachers. Thus, this study examined the role of school culture regarding job satisfaction and teaching autonomy among teachers as a potential mediator of this relationship in the preschool settings in China. Using survey data from 597 participants and by conducting structural equation modeling, this study found that school culture exerted a direct and significant impact on job satisfaction among teachers, whereas curriculum autonomy mediated the relationships in this regard. The results indicate the need for additional in-depth studies of the job satisfaction of preschool teachers in China, which exhibits a hierarchical structure.

It is essential to understand family educational patterns to develop effective educational interventions and policies. Academic success, socioemotional development, and the general well-being of adolescents are all significantly affected by family dynamics and practices. Due to the wide range and variety of familial conditions, it cannot be easy to analyze and recognize these patterns. This paper offers an intelligent strategy for effectively identifying and analyzing family education patterns using the random forest (RF) algorithm. We begin by collecting an extensive data set that includes family factors, educational practices, and student outcomes. The raw data is first preprocessed using min-max normalization. Furthermore, we employ principal component analysis (PCA) to extract the pertinent attributes from the preprocessed data. The best features are chosen using the reptile search optimization (RSO) algorithm to increase the accuracy of the random forest. Comparing the empirical results to state-of-the-art methods demonstrates the suggested RF technique's higher effectiveness in identifying family education patterns. The value of performance metrics such as accuracy (94.7%), precision (95.2%), recall (95.7%), and F1 score (96.1%). This strategy uses the RF to deliver insightful data that may guide targeted interventions, regulations, and individualized procedures to help students and their families succeed in education. In the field of clinical medicine, the real-time monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas exhaled by the human body is of great significance. At present, the detection devices on the market mainly work by sucking a small amount of gas from the nasal cavity into the detection device, and they present some problems such as overly long sampling tubes, easy blockage or distortion, and an abnormal gas dispersion. In this paper, a micro/nano optical fiber sensor that can directly detect respiration is proposed and is characterized by the relative change in CO2 concentration. The measurement is achieved by using the principle of high evanescent field absorption, and the operating band is 2.004 μm. The sensing effects of micro/nano fibers with different diameters are compared, and the experiment proves that a micro/nano fiber with a diameter of 1 μm can be measured. The light intensity change over 30 s was measured, and the breathing rate was 10–11 times/min. The sensor can achieve a rapid real-time response to CO2 gas detection and is small in size, low-cost, and easy to replace. It has a great application potential in clinical scenarios such as in gastrointestinal endoscopes that require real-time monitoring of human respiration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Since benzothiophene (BT) is a typical S‐containing compound in commercial fuels, proper adsorbents with desirable BT capture ability need to be developed. A novel magnetism‐bimetallic Fe3O4@Zn/Cu‐BTC composite has been synthesized via a simple one‐pot method for the removal of BT from mixed model fuel. SEM, XRD, XPS, and BET characterizations described the as‐prepared Fe3O4@Zn/Cu‐BTC. BT uptakes over Fe3O4@Zn/Cu‐BTC reached 85 mg/g, which is superior to those of previously reported in literature. Batch adsorption studies revealed that the adsorption process obeyed pseudo‐second order kinetic model, the determining step might be chemical sorption, and adsorption equilibrium could be achieved within 30 min. Among various isotherm models, the experimental data for adsorption of BT followed the Langmuir isotherm best. Thermodynamic parameters demonstrated that BT adsorption process was endothermic and spontaneous. Importantly, Fe3O4@Zn/Cu‐BTC could be easy obtained from liquid through Fe3O4 magnetism, and has high stability and good reusability, which might be beneficial for further practical deep desulfurization.
