Diffusion models (DMs) have demonstrated exceptional generative capabilities across various areas, while they are hindered by slow inference speeds and high computational demands during deployment. The most common way to accelerate DMs involves reducing the number of denoising steps during generation, achieved through faster sampling solvers or knowledge distillation (KD). In contrast to prior approaches, we propose a novel method that transfers the capability of large pretrained DMs to faster architectures. Specifically, we employ KD in a distinct manner to compress DMs by distilling their generative ability into more rapid variants. Furthermore, considering that the source data is either unaccessible or too enormous to store for current generative models, we introduce a new paradigm for their distillation without source data, termed Data-Free Knowledge Distillation for Diffusion Models (DKDM). Generally, our established DKDM framework comprises two main components: 1) a DKDM objective that uses synthetic denoising data produced by pretrained DMs to optimize faster DMs without source data, and 2) a dynamic iterative distillation method that flexibly organizes the synthesis of denoising data, preventing it from slowing down the optimization process as the generation is slow. To our knowledge, this is the first attempt at using KD to distill DMs into any architecture in a data-free manner. Importantly, our DKDM is orthogonal to most existing acceleration methods, such as denoising step reduction, quantization and pruning. Experiments show that our DKDM is capable of deriving 2x faster DMs with performance remaining on par with the baseline. Notably, our DKDM enables pretrained DMs to function as "datasets" for training new DMs.

Generating high-fidelity, temporally consistent videos in autonomous driving scenarios faces a significant challenge, e.g. problematic maneuvers in corner cases. Despite recent video generation works are proposed to tackcle the mentioned problem, i.e. models built on top of Diffusion Transformers (DiT), works are still missing which are targeted on exploring the potential for multi-view videos generation scenarios. Noticeably, we propose the first DiT-based framework specifically designed for generating temporally and multi-view consistent videos which precisely match the given bird's-eye view layouts control. Specifically, the proposed framework leverages a parameter-free spatial view-inflated attention mechanism to guarantee the cross-view consistency, where joint cross-attention modules and ControlNet-Transformer are integrated to further improve the precision of control. To demonstrate our advantages, we extensively investigate the qualitative comparisons on nuScenes dataset, particularly in some most challenging corner cases. In summary, the effectiveness of our proposed method in producing long, controllable, and highly consistent videos under difficult conditions is proven to be effective.

Automatic and precise medical image segmentation (MIS) is of vital importance for clinical diagnosis and analysis. Current MIS methods mainly rely on the convolutional neural network (CNN) or self-attention mechanism (Transformer) for feature modeling. However, CNN-based methods suffer from the inaccurate localization owing to the limited global dependency while Transformer-based methods always present the coarse boundary for the lack of local emphasis. Although some CNN-Transformer hybrid methods are designed to synthesize the complementary local and global information for better performance, the combination of CNN and Transformer introduces numerous parameters and increases the computation cost. To this end, this paper proposes a CNN-Transformer rectified collaborative learning (CTRCL) framework to learn stronger CNN-based and Transformer-based models for MIS tasks via the bi-directional knowledge transfer between them. Specifically, we propose a rectified logit-wise collaborative learning (RLCL) strategy which introduces the ground truth to adaptively select and rectify the wrong regions in student soft labels for accurate knowledge transfer in the logit space. We also propose a class-aware feature-wise collaborative learning (CFCL) strategy to achieve effective knowledge transfer between CNN-based and Transformer-based models in the feature space by granting their intermediate features the similar capability of category perception. Extensive experiments on three popular MIS benchmarks demonstrate that our CTRCL outperforms most state-of-the-art collaborative learning methods under different evaluation metrics.

The rapid evolution of deep learning and its integration with autonomous driving systems have led to substantial advancements in 3D perception using multimodal sensors. Notably, radar sensors show greater robustness compared to cameras and lidar under adverse weather and varying illumination conditions. This study delves into the often-overlooked yet crucial issue of domain shift in 4D radar-based object detection, examining how varying environmental conditions, such as different weather patterns and road types, impact 3D object detection performance. Our findings highlight distinct domain shifts across various weather scenarios, revealing unique dataset sensitivities that underscore the critical role of radar point cloud generation. Additionally, we demonstrate that transitioning between different road types, especially from highways to urban settings, introduces notable domain shifts, emphasizing the necessity for diverse data collection across varied road environments. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive analysis of domain shift effects on 4D radar-based object detection. The non-Bloch topology leads to the emergence of various counter-intuitive phenomena in non-Hermitian systems under the open boundary condition (OBC), which can not find a counterpart in Hermitian systems. However, in the non-Hermitian system without chiral symmetry, being ubiquitous in nature, exploring its non-Bloch topology has so far eluded experimental effort. Here by introducing the concept of non-chiral non-Bloch invariants, we theoretically predict and experimentally identify the non-Bloch topological phase diagram of a one-dimensional (1D) non-Hermitian system without chiral symmetry in discrete-time non-unitary quantum walks of single photons. Interestingly, we find that such topological invariants not only can distinguish topologically distinct gapped phases, but also faithfully capture the corresponding gap closing in open-boundary spectrum at the phase boundary. Different topological regions are experimentally identified by measuring the featured discontinuities of the higher moments of the walker's displacement, which amazingly match excellently with our defined non-Bloch invariants. As Large Language Models (LLMs) grow dramatically in size, there is an increasing trend in compressing and speeding up these models. Previous studies have highlighted the usefulness of gradients for importance scoring in neural network compressing, especially in pruning medium-size networks. However, the substantial memory requirements involved in calculating gradients with backpropagation impede the utilization of gradients in guiding LLM pruning. As a result, most pruning strategies for LLMs rely on gradient-free criteria, such as weight magnitudes or a mix of magnitudes and activations. In this paper, we devise a hybrid pruning criterion, which appropriately integrates magnitude, activation, and gradient to capitalize on feature map sensitivity for pruning LLMs. To overcome memory requirement barriers, we estimate gradients using only forward passes. Based on this, we propose a Memory-effIcieNt structured prunIng procedure for LLMs (MINI-LLM) to remove no-critical channels and multi-attention heads. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of MINI-LLM over existing gradient-free methods on three LLMs: LLaMA, BLOOM, and OPT across various downstream tasks (classification, multiple-choice, and generation), while MINI-LLM maintains a GPU memory footprint akin to gradient-free methods., Comment: 13 pages

Data-driven generative models have emerged as promising approaches towards achieving efficient mechanical inverse design. However, due to prohibitively high cost in time and money, there is still lack of open-source and large-scale benchmarks in this field. It is mainly the case for airfoil inverse design, which requires to generate and edit diverse geometric-qualified and aerodynamic-qualified airfoils following the multimodal instructions, \emph{i.e.,} dragging points and physical parameters. This paper presents the open-source endeavors in airfoil inverse design, \emph{AFBench}, including a large-scale dataset with 200 thousand airfoils and high-quality aerodynamic and geometric labels, two novel and practical airfoil inverse design tasks, \emph{i.e.,} conditional generation on multimodal physical parameters, controllable editing, and comprehensive metrics to evaluate various existing airfoil inverse design methods. Our aim is to establish \emph{AFBench} as an ecosystem for training and evaluating airfoil inverse design methods, with a specific focus on data-driven controllable inverse design models by multimodal instructions capable of bridging the gap between ideas and execution, the academic research and industrial applications. We have provided baseline models, comprehensive experimental observations, and analysis to accelerate future research. Our baseline model is trained on an RTX 3090 GPU within 16 hours. Recently, the Diffusion Probabilistic Model (DPM)-based methods have achieved substantial success in the field of medical image segmentation. However, most of these methods fail to enable the diffusion model to learn edge features and non-edge features effectively and to inject them efficiently into the diffusion backbone. Additionally, the domain gap between the images features and the diffusion model features poses a great challenge to prostate segmentation. In this paper, we proposed CriDiff, a two-stage feature injecting framework with a Crisscross Injection Strategy (CIS) and a Generative Pre-train (GP) approach for prostate segmentation. The CIS maximizes the use of multi-level features by efficiently harnessing the complementarity of high and low-level features. To effectively learn multi-level of edge features and non-edge features, we proposed two parallel conditioners in the CIS: the Boundary Enhance Conditioner (BEC) and the Core Enhance Conditioner (CEC), which discriminatively model the image edge regions and non-edge regions, respectively. Moreover, the GP approach eases the inconsistency between the images features and the diffusion model without adding additional parameters. Extensive experiments on four benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and achieve state-of-the-art performance on four evaluation metrics., Comment: Accepted in MICCAI 2024

Cognitive diagnosis is a fundamental and critical task in learning assessment, which aims to infer students' proficiency on knowledge concepts from their response logs. Current works assume each knowledge concept will certainly be tested and covered by multiple exercises. However, whether online or offline courses, it's hardly feasible to completely cover all knowledge concepts in several exercises. Restricted tests lead to undiscovered knowledge deficits, especially untested knowledge concepts(UKCs). In this paper, we propose a novel \underline{Dis}entangling Heterogeneous \underline{K}nowledge \underline{C}ognitive \underline{D}iagnosis framework on untested knowledge(DisKCD). Specifically, we leverage course grades, exercise questions, and resources to learn the potential representations of students, exercises, and knowledge concepts. In particular, knowledge concepts are disentangled into tested and untested based on the limiting actual exercises. We construct a heterogeneous relation graph network via students, exercises, tested knowledge concepts(TKCs), and UKCs. Then, through a hierarchical heterogeneous message-passing mechanism, the fine-grained relations are incorporated into the embeddings of the entities. Finally, the embeddings will be applied to multiple existing cognitive diagnosis models to infer students' proficiency on UKCs. Experimental results on real-world datasets show that the proposed model can effectively improve the performance of the task of diagnosing students' proficiency on UKCs. In the past three years, working with the Pacific Salmon Foundation and various First Nations groups, we have established Starlink-empowered wild salmon monitoring sites in remote Northern British Columbia, Canada. We report our experiences with the network services in these challenging environments, including deep woods and deep valleys, that lack infrastructural support with some close to Starlink's service boundary at the far north. We assess the portability and mobility of the satellite dishes and the quality of existing network access in underdeveloped countries that Starlink expects to cover. Our experiences suggest that network access based on LEO satellite constellations holds promise but faces hurdles such as energy supply constraints and environmental factors like temperature, precipitation, and solar storms. The presence of wildlife and respecting local residents' culture and heritage pose further complications. We are witnessing an increasing availability of streaming data that may contain valuable information on the underlying processes. It is thus attractive to be able to deploy machine learning models on edge devices near sensors such that decisions can be made instantaneously, rather than first having to transmit incoming data to servers. To enable deployment on edge devices with limited storage and computational capabilities, the full-precision parameters in standard models can be quantized to use fewer bits. The resulting quantized models are then calibrated using back-propagation and full training data to ensure accuracy. This one-time calibration works for deployments in static environments. However, model deployment in dynamic edge environments call for continual calibration to adaptively adjust quantized models to fit new incoming data, which may have different distributions. The first difficulty in enabling continual calibration on the edge is that the full training data may be too large and thus not always available on edge devices. The second difficulty is that the use of back-propagation on the edge for repeated calibration is too expensive. We propose QCore to enable continual calibration on the edge. First, it compresses the full training data into a small subset to enable effective calibration of quantized models with different bit-widths. We also propose means of updating the subset when new streaming data arrives to reflect changes in the environment, while not forgetting earlier training data. Second, we propose a small bit-flipping network that works with the subset to update quantized model parameters, thus enabling efficient continual calibration without back-propagation. An experimental study, conducted with real-world data in a continual learning setting, offers insight into the properties of QCore and shows that it is capable of outperforming strong baseline methods., Comment: 15 pages. A fuel cell system must output a steady voltage as a power source in practical use. A neural network (NN) based model predictive control (MPC) approach is developed in this work to regulate the fuel cell output voltage with safety constraints. The developed NN MPC controller stabilizes the polymer electrolyte fuel cell system's output voltage by controlling the hydrogen and air flow rates at the same time. The safety constraints regarding the hydrogen pressure limit and input change rate limit are considered. The neural network model is built to describe the system voltage and hydrogen pressure behavior. Simulation results show that the NN MPC can control the voltage at the desired value while satisfying the safety constraints under workload disturbance. The NN MPC shows a comparable performance of the MPC based on the detailed underlying system physical model.

This study introduces a novel approach utilizing Gaussian process model predictive control (MPC) to stabilize the output voltage of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) system by simultaneously regulating hydrogen and airflow rates. Two Gaussian process models are developed to capture PEFC dynamics, taking into account constraints including hydrogen pressure and input change rates, thereby aiding in mitigating errors inherent to PEFC predictive control. The dynamic performance of the physical model and Gaussian process MPC in constraint handling and system inputs is compared and analyzed. Simulation outcomes demonstrate that the proposed Gaussian process MPC effectively maintains the voltage at the target 48 V while adhering to safety constraints, even amidst workload disturbances ranging from 110-120 A. In comparison to traditional MPC using detailed system models, Gaussian process MPC exhibits a 43\% higher overshoot and 25\% slower response time. Nonetheless, it offers the advantage of not requiring the underlying true system model and needing less system information.

This paper introduces GAgent: an Gripping Agent designed for open-world environments that provides advanced cognitive abilities via VLM agents and flexible grasping abilities with variable stiffness soft grippers. GAgent comprises three primary components - Prompt Engineer module, Visual-Language Model (VLM) core and Workflow module. These three modules enhance gripper success rates by recognizing objects and materials and accurately estimating grasp area even under challenging lighting conditions. As part of creativity, researchers also created a bionic hybrid soft gripper with variable stiffness capable of gripping heavy loads while still gently engaging objects. This intelligent agent, featuring VLM-based cognitive processing with bionic design, shows promise as it could potentially benefit UAVs in various scenarios.

Performance disparities of image recognition across different demographic populations are known to exist in deep learning-based models, but previous work has largely addressed such fairness problems assuming knowledge of sensitive attribute labels. To overcome this reliance, previous strategies have involved separate learning structures to expose and adjust for disparities. In this work, we explore a new paradigm that does not require sensitive attribute labels, and evades the need for extra training by leveraging general-purpose vision-language model (VLM), as a rich knowledge source for common sensitive attributes. We analyze the correspondence between VLM predicted and human defined sensitive attribute distribution. We find that VLMs can recognize samples with clear attribute information encoded in image representations, thus capture under-performed samples conflicting with attribute-related bias. We train downstream target classifiers by re-sampling and augmenting under-performed attribute groups. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmark facial attribute classification datasets show fairness gains of the model over existing unsupervised baselines that tackle with arbitrary bias. The work indicates that vision-language models can extract discriminative sensitive information prompted by language, and be used to promote model fairness.

Chinese Spell Checking (CSC) is a widely used technology, which plays a vital role in speech to text (STT) and optical character recognition (OCR). Most of the existing CSC approaches relying on BERT architecture achieve excellent performance. However, limited by the scale of the foundation model, BERT-based method does not work well in few-shot scenarios, showing certain limitations in practical applications. In this paper, we explore using an in-context learning method named RS-LLM (Rich Semantic based LLMs) to introduce large language models (LLMs) as the foundation model. Besides, we study the impact of introducing various Chinese rich semantic information in our framework. We found that by introducing a small number of specific Chinese rich semantic structures, LLMs achieve better performance than the BERT-based model on few-shot CSC task. Furthermore, we conduct experiments on multiple datasets, and the experimental results verified the superiority of our proposed framework.

New data sources, and artificial intelligence (AI) methods to extract information from them are becoming plentiful, and relevant to decision making in many societal applications. An important example is street view imagery, available in over 100 countries, and considered for applications such as assessing built environment aspects in relation to community health outcomes. Relevant to such uses, important examples of bias in the use of AI are evident when decision-making based on data fails to account for the robustness of the data, or predictions are based on spurious correlations. To study this risk, we utilize 2.02 million GSV images along with health, demographic, and socioeconomic data from New York City. Initially, we demonstrate that built environment characteristics inferred from GSV labels at the intra-city level may exhibit inadequate alignment with the ground truth. We also find that the average individual-level behavior of physical inactivity significantly mediates the impact of built environment features by census tract, as measured through GSV. Finally, using a causal framework which accounts for these mediators of environmental impacts on health, we find that altering 10% of samples in the two lowest tertiles would result in a 4.17 (95% CI 3.84 to 4.55) or 17.2 (95% CI 14.4 to 21.3) times bigger decrease on the prevalence of obesity or diabetes, than the same proportional intervention on the number of crosswalks by census tract. This work illustrates important issues of robustness and model specification for informing effective allocation of interventions using new data sources.

[$^{18}$F]fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) has emerged as a crucial tool in identifying the epileptic focus, especially in cases where magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnosis yields indeterminate results. FDG PET can provide the metabolic information of glucose and help identify abnormal areas that are not easily found through MRI. However, the effectiveness of FDG PET-based assessment and diagnosis depends on the selection of a healthy control group. The healthy control group typically consists of healthy individuals similar to epilepsy patients in terms of age, gender, and other aspects for providing normal FDG PET data, which will be used as a reference for enhancing the accuracy and reliability of the epilepsy diagnosis. However, significant challenges arise when a healthy PET control group is unattainable. Yaakub \emph{et al.} have previously introduced a Pix2PixGAN-based method for MRI to PET translation. This method used paired MRI and FDG PET scans from healthy individuals for training, and produced pseudo normal FDG PET images from patient MRIs that are subsequently used for lesion detection. However, this approach requires a large amount of high-quality, paired MRI and PET images from healthy control subjects, which may not always be available. In this study, we investigated unsupervised learning methods for unpaired MRI to PET translation for generating pseudo normal FDG PET for epileptic focus localization. To tackle the scarcity and privacy issues associated with domain-specific datasets, the integration of federated learning in conjunction with fine-tuning has emerged as a practical solution. However, our findings reveal that federated learning has the risk of skewing fine-tuning features and compromising the out-of-distribution robustness of the model. By introducing three robustness indicators and conducting experiments across diverse robust datasets, we elucidate these phenomena by scrutinizing the diversity, transferability, and deviation within the model feature space. To mitigate the negative impact of federated learning on model robustness, we introduce GNP, a \underline{G}eneral \underline{N}oisy \underline{P}rojection-based robust algorithm, ensuring no deterioration of accuracy on the target distribution. Specifically, the key strategy for enhancing model robustness entails the transfer of robustness from the pre-trained model to the fine-tuned model, coupled with adding a small amount of Gaussian noise to augment the representative capacity of the model. Comprehensive experimental results demonstrate that our approach markedly enhances the robustness across diverse scenarios, encompassing various parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods and confronting different levels of data heterogeneity., Comment: 12 pages, 10 figures

Machine learning model bias can arise from dataset composition: sensitive features correlated to the learning target disturb the model decision rule and lead to performance differences along the features. Existing de-biasing work captures prominent and delicate image features which are traceable in model latent space, like colors of digits or background of animals. However, using the latent space is not sufficient to understand all dataset feature correlations. In this work, we propose a framework to extract feature clusters in a dataset based on image descriptions, allowing us to capture both subtle and coarse features of the images. The feature co-occurrence pattern is formulated and correlation is measured, utilizing a human-in-the-loop for examination. The analyzed features and correlations are human-interpretable, so we name the method Common-Sense Bias Discovery (CSBD). Having exposed sensitive correlations in a dataset, we demonstrate that downstream model bias can be mitigated by adjusting image sampling weights, without requiring a sensitive group label supervision. Experiments show that our method discovers novel biases on multiple classification tasks for two benchmark image datasets, and the intervention outperforms state-of-the-art unsupervised bias mitigation methods.

Deep learning enhances earthquake monitoring capabilities by mining seismic waveforms directly. However, current neural networks, trained within specific areas, face challenges in generalizing to diverse regions. Here, we employ a data recombination method to create generalized earthquakes occurring at any location with arbitrary station distributions for neural network training. The trained models can then be applied to various regions with different monitoring setups for earthquake detection and parameter evaluation from continuous seismic waveform streams. This allows real-time Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) to be initiated at the very early stages of an occurring earthquake. When applied to substantial earthquake sequences across Japan and California (US), our models reliably report earthquake locations and magnitudes within 4 seconds after the first triggered station, with mean errors of 2.6-6.3 km and 0.05-0.17, respectively. These generalized neural networks facilitate global applications of real-time EEW, eliminating complex empirical configurations typically required by traditional methods.

Instruction tuning is crucial for enabling Language Learning Models (LLMs) in responding to human instructions. The quality of instruction pairs used for tuning greatly affects the performance of LLMs. However, the manual creation of high-quality instruction datasets is costly, leading to the adoption of automatic generation of instruction pairs by LLMs as a popular alternative. To ensure the high quality of LLM-generated instruction datasets, several approaches have been proposed. Nevertheless, existing methods either compromise dataset integrity by filtering a large proportion of samples, or are unsuitable for industrial applications. In this paper, instead of discarding low-quality samples, we propose CoachLM, a novel approach to enhance the quality of instruction datasets through automatic revisions on samples in the dataset. CoachLM is trained from the samples revised by human experts and significantly increases the proportion of high-quality samples in the dataset from 17.7% to 78.9%. The effectiveness of CoachLM is further assessed on various real-world instruction test sets. The results show that CoachLM improves the instruction-following capabilities of the instruction-tuned LLM by an average of 29.9%, which even surpasses larger LLMs with nearly twice the number of parameters. Furthermore, CoachLM is successfully deployed in a data management system for LLMs at Huawei, resulting in an efficiency improvement of up to 20% in the cleaning of 40k real-world instruction pairs. The popularity of immersive videos has prompted extensive research into neural adaptive tile-based streaming to optimize video transmission over networks with limited bandwidth. However, the diversity of users' viewing patterns and Quality of Experience (QoE) preferences has not been fully addressed yet by existing neural adaptive approaches for viewport prediction and bitrate selection. Their performance can significantly deteriorate when users' actual viewing patterns and QoE preferences differ considerably from those observed during the training phase, resulting in poor generalization. In this paper, we propose MANSY, a novel streaming system that embraces user diversity to improve generalization. Specifically, to accommodate users' diverse viewing patterns, we design a Transformer-based viewport prediction model with an efficient multi-viewport trajectory input output architecture based on implicit ensemble learning. Besides, we for the first time combine the advanced representation learning and deep reinforcement learning to train the bitrate selection model to maximize diverse QoE objectives, enabling the model to generalize across users with diverse preferences. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MANSY outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in viewport prediction accuracy and QoE improvement on both trained and unseen viewing patterns and QoE preferences, achieving better generalization., Comment: This work has been submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing for possible publication. Evaluating the performance of graph neural networks (GNNs) is an essential task for practical GNN model deployment and serving, as deployed GNNs face significant performance uncertainty when inferring on unseen and unlabeled test graphs, due to mismatched training-test graph distributions. In this paper, we study a new problem, GNN model evaluation, that aims to assess the performance of a specific GNN model trained on labeled and observed graphs, by precisely estimating its performance (e.g., node classification accuracy) on unseen graphs without labels. Concretely, we propose a two-stage GNN model evaluation framework, including (1) DiscGraph set construction and (2) GNNEvaluator training and inference. The DiscGraph set captures wide-range and diverse graph data distribution discrepancies through a discrepancy measurement function, which exploits the outputs of GNNs related to latent node embeddings and node class predictions. Under the effective training supervision from the DiscGraph set, GNNEvaluator learns to precisely estimate node classification accuracy of the to-be-evaluated GNN model and makes an accurate inference for evaluating GNN model performance. To address the communication burden and privacy concerns associated with the centralized server in Federated Learning (FL), Decentralized Federated Learning (DFL) has emerged, which discards the server with a peer-to-peer (P2P) communication framework. However, most existing DFL algorithms are based on symmetric topologies, such as ring and grid topologies, which can easily lead to deadlocks and are susceptible to the impact of network link quality in practice. To address these issues, this paper proposes the DFedSGPSM algorithm, which is based on asymmetric topologies and utilizes the Push-Sum protocol to effectively solve consensus optimization problems. To further improve algorithm performance and alleviate local heterogeneous overfitting in Federated Learning (FL), our algorithm combines the Sharpness Aware Minimization (SAM) optimizer and local momentum. The SAM optimizer employs gradient perturbations to generate locally flat models and searches for models with uniformly low loss values, mitigating local heterogeneous overfitting. The local momentum accelerates the optimization process of the SAM optimizer. Theoretical analysis proves that DFedSGPSM achieves a convergence rate of $\mathcal{O}(\frac{1}{\sqrt{T}})$ in a non-convex smooth setting under mild assumptions. This analysis also reveals that better topological connectivity achieves tighter upper bounds. Empirically, extensive experiments are conducted on the MNIST, CIFAR10, and CIFAR100 datasets, demonstrating the superior performance of our algorithm compared to state-of-the-art optimizers.
