In intelligent transportation systems, it is crucial for smart vehicles to broadcast real-time vehicle track messages to coordinate driving decisions and ensure driving safety.However, attackers can manipulate vehicle tracks by modifying timestamps or manipulating signal frequencies, posing a threat to security.To address this problem, a lightweight vehicle track verification scheme was proposed, utilizing the broadcast communication channels to achieve secure verification of vehicle tracks without any special hardware support.Without time synchronization, each verifier calculated the time interval between the reception time of the message and the sending timestamp.Spatial position constraint equations are formulated by combining these time intervals between any two verifiers, effectively defending against timestamp forgery attacks.Additionally, each verifier calculates the Doppler frequency shift between the arrival frequency and the scheduled transmit frequency.Velocity vector constraint equations were formulated by combining these frequency shifts between any two verifiers, providing defense against carrier frequency manipulation attacks.Formal analysis shows that increasing the number of verifiers improves the accuracy of the proposed verification scheme.Experimental results in a real-world environment further validate that the proposed verification scheme exhibits the best performance when the number of verifiers is set to 3.Compared to the existing solution, the proposed verification scheme has a higher accuracy, lower false rejection rate, and lower false acceptance rate when validating true vehicle track and false vehicle track separately.

This study examined the relations among social dominance orientation (SDO), social contact, and attitudes toward international students. SDO was positively associated with prejudice against international students, perception of threats from international students, and exclusionism. Men had a higher level of SDO than women, but SDO had a greater effect on female exclusionism. The results show that SDO did not directly predict a general attitude toward international students. Prejudice predicted unfavorable attitudes, but threat perception and exclusionism did not, indicating that the mechanism underlying the effect of SDO on attitudes toward international students was through prejudice rather than threat perception and exclusionism. The negative effect of prejudice remained after controlling for the effect of social contact. However, social contact contributed to a favorable attitude toward international students. The dual-input single-output (DI-SO) cylindrical spur gear system possesses advantages such as high load-carrying capacity, precise transmission, and low energy loss. It is increasingly becoming a core component of power transmission systems in maritime vessels, aerospace, marine engineering, and construction machinery. In practical operation, the stability of the DI-SO cylindrical spur gear system is influenced by complex excitations. These excitations lead to nonlinear vibration, meshing instability, and noise, which affect the performance and reliability of the entire equipment. Hence, the dynamic performance of the DI-SO cylindrical spur gear system is thoroughly investigated in this research. The impact of excitations and nonlinear factors on the dynamic characteristics was investigated comprehensively. A comparative analysis of the gear system was conducted by establishing a bending–torsional coupling vibration analysis model under synchronous and asynchronous meshing conditions. Nonlinear factors such as periodic time-varying meshing stiffness, meshing damping, friction coefficient, friction arms, load sharing ratio, comprehensive transmission error, and backlash were considered in the proposed model. Then, the effect laws of excitations and nonlinear factors such as meshing frequency, driving load fluctuation, backlash, and comprehensive transmission error were analyzed. The results indicate that the dynamic characteristics exhibited staged stable and unstable states under different meshing frequencies and meshing conditions. At the medium-frequency meshing stage (0.96 × 104~1.78 × 104 Hz), alternating phenomena of multi-periodic, quasi-periodic, and chaotic motion states were observed. Moreover, the root mean square value (RMS) of the dynamic transmission error (DTE) in the asynchronized gear system was generally higher than that in the synchronized gear system. It was found that selecting the appropriate meshing condition could effectively reduce the amplitude of the DTE. Additionally, the dynamic performance could be significantly improved by adjusting control parameters such as driving load fluctuation (0~179 N), backlash (0.8 × 10−4~0.9 × 10−4 m), and comprehensive transmission error (7.9 × 10−4~9.4 × 10−4 m). Drawing on the attention‐based view and leadership theory, this study proposes a theoretical framework for the relationship between CEOs' attention load and firms' sustainability orientation, with supply chain leadership and CEOs' social capital playing mediating and moderating roles, respectively. We tested the theoretical framework by analysing panel data on 236 CEOs from 102 listed companies in the agricultural and food industries in China from 2012 to 2019. We find that (a) CEOs' attention load negatively affects firms' sustainable orientation; (b) this relationship is partially mediated by firms' supply chain leadership; and (c) CEOs' social capital positively moderates this mediating effect. Lower CEO attention loads are associated with increased supply chain leadership and higher sustainability orientation for the firm. Additionally, CEOs' social capital positively moderates the relationship between attention load and sustainability orientation. This study integrates the attention‐based view and leadership theory into sustainable development research, investigating the translation mechanism of CEO attention to a firm's managerial orientation towards sustainability. In view of the problems that the mechanical seal for the water pump is prone to deformation, friction and wear, and loss of sealing performance in the process of use, taking the temperature change of end surface as the research entry point, the temperature distribution, stress and strain diagram of rotating ring, and stationary ring are obtained by thermal-stress coupling simulation. The temperature change of stationary ring is studied by the experiments, and the friction state of end surface of rotating ring and stationary ring are observed. The results indicate that the test temperature of stationary ring is slightly lower than simulation temperature, which is related to the thermocouple fixed on the side of the stationary ring for temperature measurement. In addition, comparing the micro morphology of end surface of rotating ring before and after the experiment, it is found that there is significant plastic deformation on the inner diameter of rotating ring, which is related to the stress generated by the thermal-mechanical coupling of inner diameter of rotating ring exceeding the material limit, consistent with the simulation results. Objective: In this study, based on PET/CT radiomics features, we developed and validated a nomogram to predict progression-free survival (PFS) for cases with diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) treated with immunochemotherapy. Methods: This study retrospectively recruited 129 cases with DLBCL. Among them, PET/CT scans were conducted and baseline images were collected for radiomics features along with their clinicopathological features. Radiomics features related to recurrence were screened for survival analysis using univariate Cox regression analysis with p < 0.05. Next, a weighted Radiomics-score (Rad-score) was generated and independent risk factors were obtained from univariate and multivariate Cox regressions to build the nomogram. Furthermore, the nomogram was tested for their ability to predict PFS using time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis (DCA). Results: Blood platelet, Rad-score, and gender were included in the nomogram as independent DLBCL risk factors for PFS. We found that the training cohort areas under the curve (AUCs) were 0.79, 0.84, and 0.88, and validation cohort AUCs were 0.67, 0.83, and 0.72, respectively. Further, the DCA and calibration curves confirmed the predictive nomogram's clinical relevance. Conclusion: Using Rad-score, blood platelet, and gender of the DLBCL patients, a PET/CT radiomics-based nomogram was developed to guide cases' recurrence risk assessment prior to treatment. The developed nomogram can help provide more appropriate treatment plans to the cases. Stem cells and progenitors in many lineages undergo self-renewing divisions, but the extracellular and intracellular proteins that regulate this process are largely unknown. Glucocorticoids stimulate red blood cell formation by promoting self-renewal of early burst-forming unit-erythroid (BFU-E) progenitors (1-4). Here we show that the RNA-binding protein ZFP36L2 is a transcriptional target of the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) in BFU-Es and is required for BFU-E self-renewal. ZFP36L2 is normally downregulated during erythroid differentiation from the BFU-E stage, but its expression is maintained by all tested GR agonists that stimulate BFU-E self-renewal, and the GR binds to several potential enhancer regions of ZFP36L2. Knockdown of ZFP36L2 in cultured BFU-E cells did not affect the rate of cell division but disrupted glucocorticoid-induced BFU-E self-renewal, and knockdown of ZFP36L2 in transplanted erythroid progenitors prevented expansion of erythroid lineage progenitors normally seen following induction of anaemia by phenylhydrazine treatment. ZFP36L2 preferentially binds to messenger RNAs that are induced or maintained at high expression levels during terminal erythroid differentiation and negatively regulates their expression levels. Background: Lymph vascular invasion (LVI) is an unfavorable prognostic indicator in gastric cancer (GC). However, there are no reliable clinical techniques for preoperative predictions of LVI. The aim of this study was to develop and validate PET/CT-based radiomics signatures for predicting LVI of GC preoperatively. Radiomics nomograms were also established to predict patient survival outcomes. Methods: This retrospective study registered 148 GC patients with histopathological confirmation for LVI status, who underwent pre-operative PET/CT scans (Discovery VCT 64 PET/CT system) from December 2014 to June 2019. Clinic-pathological factors (age, gender, and tumor grade, etc.) and metabolic PET data (maximum and mean standardized uptake value, total lesion glycolysis and metabolic tumor volume) were analyzed to identify independent LVI predictors. The dataset was randomly assigned to either the training set or test set in a 7:3 ratios. Three-dimensional (3D) radiomics features were extracted from each PET- and CT-volume of interests (VOI) singularly, and then a radiomics signature (RS) associated with LVI status is built by feature selection. Four models with different modalities (PET-RS: only PET radiomics features; CT-RS: only CT radiomics features; PET/CT-RS: both PET and CT radiomics features; PET/CT-RS plus clinical data) were developed to predict LVI. Patients were postoperatively followed up with PET/CT every 6-12 months for the first two years and then annually up to five years after surgery. The PET/CT radiomics score (Rad-scores) was calculated to assess survival outcome, and corresponding nomograms with radiomics (NWR) or without radiomics (NWOR) were established. Results: Tumor grade and maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) were the independent LVI predictor. 1037 CT and PET 3D radiomics features were extracted separately and reduced to 4 and 5 features to build CT-RS and PET-RS, respectively. PET/CT-RS and PET/CT-RS plus clinical data (tumor grade and SUVmax) were also developed. The ROC analysis demonstrated clinical usefulness of PET/CT-RS plus clinical data (AUC values for training and validation, respectively 0.936 and 0.914) and PET/CT-RS (AUC values for training and validation, respectively 0.881 and 0.854), which both are superior to CT-RS (0.838 and 0.824) and PET-RS (0.821 and 0.812). SUVmax and LVI were independent prognostic indicators of both OS and PFS. Decision curve analysis (DCA) demonstrated NWR outperformed NWOR and was established to assess survival outcomes. For estimation of OS and PFS, the C-indexes of the NWR were 0. 88 and 0.88 in the training set, respectively, while the C-indexes of the NWOR were 0. 82 and 0.85 in the training set, respectively. Conclusions: The PET/CT-based radiomics analysis might serve as a non-invasive approach to predict LVI status in GC patients and provide effective predictors of patient survival outcomes.
