Based on the analysis of rice quality characteristics of indica rice varieties from regional trials in recent 10 years, we hope to provide references for quality improvement of indica rice varieties in the next stage. We analyzed 2 701 samples of early season, medium season and late season indica rice samples in 17 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) from 2011 to 2020, and divided them into 8 groups according to maturity and regional trials group. Based on the agricultural industry standard “Cooking rice variety quality” NY/T 593, we analyzed the development trend of qualified rate and rice quality index of indica rice varieties in recent 10 years. The results showed that the quality of indica rice varieties in China presented a steady upward trend in recent 10 years, especially for late season indica rice, which improved the most significantly after 2017. The rice quality of mid-late ripe of late season indica rice and sensitive late season indica rice in south China was better than early ripe of late season indica rice; rice quality of medium season indica rice in the middle was better than that of medium season indica rice in the upper Yangtze River; the rice quality of early season indica rice in south China was better than that of other two early season indica rice varieties and has been improved steadily in recent years. Chalkiness degree, alkali spreading value and amylose content of quality indexes have been increasing steadily, gel consistency and brown rice rate keep high standard rate in recent 10 years, the variation of qualified rate in head rice rate and translucency above one level changed greatly from year to year, and there was no obvious trend of improvement. For rice quality index, in addition to keeping on reducing the amylose content and chalkiness degree of indica rice, it is also needed o strengthen the study on inter annual stability of head rice rate and transparency of indica rice. And the improvement of rice quality of medium season indica rice is the key direction for the improvement of indica rice quality in the future.

Abstract: Refinement of the X-ray crystal structures of Pr[M(CN)6]·5H2O (M=Cr, Fe, Co) enables their space group to be reassigned to P63/mmc. Di-protonated 1,4,8,11-tetramethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane tetra-N-oxide takes the RSSR configuration and is stabilized by a pair of charge-assisted intramolecular [O–H⋯O]+ hydrogen bonds; the di-cation induces the formation of lanthanide(III) complexes [Ln(NO3)6]3− (Ln=Ce, La, Nd), [Er(NO3)3(H2O)3] and catena-[Ce(NO3)4(μ-NO3)]n2n−, the latter being a novel linear coordination polymer constructed by a bridging nitrate ligand functioning in the μ-O,O,O′,O′′ mode. Four lanthanide(III) complexes {[Ce(L1)1.5(NO3)3](CH2Cl2)0.25(H2O)0.25}∞ 1, [Ln(L2)1.5(NO3)3]∞ (Ln = Ce, 2; Gd, 3), and [Yb(L2)(CH3OH)(NO3)3]∞ 4 have been synthesized using 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane-N,N′-dioxide (L1) and trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene-N,N′-dioxide (L2). Bridged by the flexible L1 ligand to form binuclear Ce2O2 units, compound 1 shows a three-dimensional network with triangular and distorted square channels. The isomorphous pair 2 and 3 composed of rigid L2 linkers and Ln2O2 units (Ln = Ce, Gd) exhibit a layered structure of (4,4) topology. In compound 4, the mononuclear Yb(III) ions are bridged by L2 ligands to generate a sinuous chain. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Binuclear manganese complex (MnL), with high catalytic activity, was encapsulated into ethyl cellulose microspheres via a microencapsulation technique. The characterization of the catalyst through ICP, UV-VIS, SEM and TEM revealed that MnL was well distributed within the ethyl cellulose matrix. The results of UV-VIS confirmed the structural integrity of MnL after the encapsulation process. The MnL loaded microspheres exhibited an excellent catalytic property in the oxidative decolorization of Reactive Blue P-3R, which was used to simulate the dyestuff wastewater. The dye solution was completely decolorized under the catalyzing action of these microspheres. What's more, these MnL loaded microspheres could be reused for at least 4 times and the decolorization degree of Reactive Blue P-3R was maintained above 70%. The results demonstrated the potential application of the microsphere-supported MnL as a novel heterogeneous CWPO catalyst for the decolorization of wastewater containing dyestuff.

Reactions of the pyridine N-oxide ligands L, L2 and L3 with the silver acetylenediide-containing system under hydrothermal conditions gave rise to four silver-acetylenediide complexes bearing interesting C2@Agn motifs: (Ag2C2)2(AgCF3CO2)8(L1)3.5 (1), (Ag2C2)2(AgCF3CO2)8(L2)2 (2), (Ag2C2)(AgCF3CO2)4(L3) (3) and [(Ag7(C2)(CF3SO3)3(L3)2(H2O)2] x 2CF3SO3 (4) (L = nicotinic acid N-oxide, L(1) = pyridine N-oxide, L2 = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane N,N'-dioxide, L3 = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane N,N'-dioxide), which exhibit new distorted polyhedral C2@Agn cage motifs. Complex 1 has a pair of acetylenediide dianions encapsulated in a Ag(14) aggregate composed of three polyhedral parts, whereas 2 contains an irregular (C2)2@Ag13 double cage. In 3, the basic building unit is a centrosymmetric (C2)2@Ag12 double cage with each component single cage taking the shape of a highly distorted triangulated dodecahedron with one missing vertex. As to complex 4, the core is a C2@Ag7 single cage in the form of a slightly distorted monocapped trigonal prism with four cleaved edges that include all three vertical sides. Furthermore, in the silver-rich environment, the pyO-type ligands are induced to exhibit unprecedented coordination modes, such as the mu(5)-O,O,O,O',O' ligation mode of L2 in 2 and the mu4-O,O,O',O' mode of L3 in 3 and 4.
