The combination of chemodynamic therapy (CDT) and gas therapy holds significant promise for tumor treatment. In this study, we successfully synthesized an intelligent H2O2-responsive Fe-MOF nanotherapeutic agent, integrated with glucose oxidase (GOx) and manganese carbonyl (MnCO), to achieve synergistic cancer gas/CDT. Upon endocytosis by tumor cells, the nanotherapeutic agent catalyzes the conversion of endogenous glucose into gluconic acid and H2O2, which facilitates the release of CO gas and disrupts the energy supply. Subsequently, a Fenton reaction occurs between Fe-MOFs and intracellular H2O2, generating highly toxic hydroxyl radicals (˙OH) for CDT. Therefore, the engineered nanotherapeutic agent demonstrates a synergistic efficacy through CO gas therapy, reactive oxygen species (ROS)-mediated CDT, and energy starvation, effectively suppressing tumor growth. Motivated by recent advancements in the quantum detection problem employing both discrete and continuous frames, this paper delves into a quantum detection problem utilizing g-frames within the context of quaternionic Hilbert spaces. We offer several equivalent representations of injective g-frames in separable quaternionic Hilbert spaces. By normalizing the trace, we establish a classification for the g-frame injectivity problem. Additionally, we propose a method to derive an injective g-frame by leveraging an injective frame within quaternionic Hilbert spaces. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the injectivity of a g-frame remains intact under a linear isomorphism, while injective g-frames exhibit instability in infinite-dimensional scenarios. Embryo rescue technology has been widely applied in seedless grape breeding, but its success depends on many factors. Here, two Vitis vinifera seedless varieties 'Qinhong No.2' and 'Qinhong No.10' were used as research objects, the inflorescences were sprayed with 0.5 mg·L−1 thidiazuron 10 days before flowering, and then the ovules from open- and self-pollination of them were cultured in solid–liquid biphase MM3 media to investigate the effect of thidiazuron on embryo rescue. Under natural condition, the ovules of open- and self-pollination were inoculated onto three solid–liquid biphase media NN, ER, and MM3 to compare the efficiency of embryo rescue. The results showed that pre-bloom spraying thidiazuron significantly promoted ovule development and further improved the effect of embryo rescue in vitro. After applying thidiazuron, the embryo development rate, germination rate, and seedling rate of the four combinations reached 30.77%–42.62%, 29.36%–41.64%, and 22.02%–40.33%, respectively. Open-pollination of the two varieties provided better effects for culturing than their self-pollination, and the MM3 medium was always more suitable for embryo development than either the ER or NN medium. Furthermore, the germination rate of bare embryos of 'Qinhong No. 10' open-pollination on solid WPM medium surpassed that of ovules (without embryo stripping) on solid NN medium. HIGHLIGHTS: Pre-bloom spraying TDZ could improve the effect of embryo rescue of seedless grape. The embryo rescue effect was better in open- than self-pollinated seedless grapes. Solid–liquid biphase MM3 was more suitable for embryo rescue than an ER or NN medium. The seedling rate of bare embryos on WPM medium exceeded that of ovules on NN medium. Objective To investigate the effect of modified Morita therapy combined with motor imagery training on pulmonary rehabilitation of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods Totally 130 elderly COPD patients were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. During the rehabilitation treatment, the control group received modified Morita therapy intervention, and the observation group received modified Morita therapy combined with motor imagery training. The changes of lung function, negative emotion and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the value of forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1), forced expiratory volume in one second/predicted value ratio(FEV1%pred), forced vital capacity (FVC), FEV1/FVC of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P＜0. 05). Scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0. 05). The total score of St George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) and dimension scores of symptom, activity and impact in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0. 05). Conclusion Modified Morita therapy combined with motor imagery training can promote pulmonary function recovery, relieve negative emotion, and improve quality of life in COPD patients. DNA molecules, as a storage medium, possess unique advantages. Not only does DNA storage exhibit significantly higher storage density compared to electromagnetic storage media, but it also features low energy consumption and extremely long storage times. However, the integration of DNA storage into daily life remains distant due to challenges such as low storage density, high latency, and inevitable errors during the storage process. Therefore, this paper proposes constructing a DNA storage coding set based on the Levy Sooty Tern Optimization Algorithm (LSTOA) to achieve an efficient random-access DNA storage system. Firstly, addressing the slow iteration speed and susceptibility to local optima of the Sooty Tern Optimization Algorithm (STOA), this paper introduces Levy flight operations and propose the LSTOA. Secondly, utilizing the LSTOA, this paper constructs a DNA storage encoding set to facilitate random access while meeting combinatorial constraints. To demonstrate the coding performance of the LSTOA, this paper consists of analyses on 13 benchmark test functions, showcasing its superior performance. Furthermore, under the same combinatorial constraints, the LSTOA constructs larger DNA storage coding sets, effectively reducing the read–write latency and error rate of DNA storage. DNA molecules as storage media are characterized by high encoding density and low energy consumption, making DNA storage a highly promising storage method. However, DNA storage has shortcomings, especially when storing multimedia data, wherein image reconstruction fails when address errors occur, resulting in complete data loss. Therefore, we propose a parity encoding and local mean iteration (PELMI) scheme to achieve robust DNA storage of images. The proposed parity encoding scheme satisfies the common biochemical constraints of DNA sequences and the undesired motif content. It addresses varying pixel weights at different positions for binary data, thus optimizing the utilization of Reed–Solomon error correction. Then, through lost and erroneous sequences, data supplementation and local mean iteration are employed to enhance the robustness. The encoding results show that the undesired motif content is reduced by 23%–50% compared with the representative schemes, which improves the sequence stability. PELMI achieves image reconstruction under general errors (insertion, deletion, substitution) and enhances the DNA sequences quality. Especially under 1% error, compared with other advanced encoding schemes, the peak signal-to-noise ratio and the multiscale structure similarity address metric were increased by 10%–13% and 46.8%–122%, respectively, and the mean squared error decreased by 113%–127%. This demonstrates that the reconstructed images had better clarity, fidelity, and similarity in structure, texture, and detail. In summary, PELMI ensures robustness and stability of image storage in DNA and achieves relatively high-quality image reconstruction under general errors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BACKGROUND: Bacillus, as a plant–growth‐promoting rhizobacteria, can enhance the resistance of plants to phytopathogens. In our study, Bacillus strains showing excellent biocontrol were screened and used to control ginkgo leaf blight (Alternaria tenuissima). RESULTS: Four biocontrol Bacillus strains—Bsa537, Bam337, Bso544, and Bsu503—were selected from 286 isolates based on their capacity to inhibit pathogens and promote plant growth. The four Bacillus strains significantly improved the resistance of ginkgo to leaf blight. This was especially the case when the four strains were used as a mixture, which contributed to a decrease in lesion area of >40%. Hence, a mixture of Bacillus strains was used to control ginkgo leaf blight in the field. Treatment efficiency varied from 30% to 100% (average 81.5%) and was higher than that of the control (−2% to −18%, average − 8.5%); the antioxidant capacity of the treated ginkgo was also stronger. In addition, ginkgo biomass increased as a result of treatment with the Bacillus mixture, including leaf weight, area, thickness, number of lateral roots and root weight. Furthermore, the Bacillus mixture improved the ginkgo rhizosphere soil by boosting the number of beneficial microorganisms, lowering the number of pathogens and hastening soil catabolism. CONCLUSION: The Bacillus mixture improved the health status of ginkgo by protecting it from pathogen attack, promoting its growth and improving the microorganism community in the rhizosphere. This work closes a technological gap in the biological control of ginkgo leaf blight, investigates application methods for compound Bacillus biofertilizers and establishes a framework for the popularity and commercialization of these products. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry. A quantum injective frame is a frame capable of differentiating states based on their respective frame measurements, whereas the quantum-detection problem associated with frames endeavors to delineate all such frames. In the present paper, the concept of injective frames in infinite dimensional quaternionic Hilbert spaces is introduced. Further, some properties of injective frames such as the invariance of injective frames under invertible operators are discussed and several solutions to the frame quantum-detection problem are given. Finally, by employing operator theory and frames theory in quaternionic Hilbert spaces, some characterizations and classifications of frames for solving the injectivity problem are given.
