13. Altitude Training for Endurance-based Winter Sports in China: Research and Application.

Abstract

This paper revolves around the key research on "science and technology for the Winter Olympics, and takes "altitude training" for endurance winter sports in China as the research object. On the basis of fully understanding the current research status at home and abroad, we draw on experience from relevant research on winter and summer Olympic sports and adopt effective science-based testing and analysis methods to ensure scientific, leading-edge and innovative research results. After over 60 years of continuous attempts, China has made preliminary progress in research on hypobaric hypoxia (natural altitude) and normobaric hypoxia (simulated altitude), but the research results are mostly limited to the study of hematological indicators and exercise capacity. This paper adopts literature review, tracking study, expert interview to systematically study the development in endurance winter sports in China. Based on the review of various altitude training models and the development features of endurance winter sports in China, the application prospects of various altitude training models are expounded. We also resort to some successful cases and training data of altitude training at home and abroad, and analyze load management of the two well developed altitude training models: the "W" and "M" models, with a view to promoting altitude training for endurance winter sports in China. Abstract

The railway station is an important hub on conection of urban transportation. Message sign plays an important part in the flow and transfer of passengers in the hub. Based on passenger properties, this paper firstly made classification of the transfer message. Then the reasonable quantity of message signs was discussed and the height and spacing models were established for them. Finally, these models were applied to Wuchang railway station. It provides design reference for the layout of transfer message signs in other great stations.

Abstract

Urban planning and design is based on traffic flow prediction of intersection to some extent in city, so the rationality of urban planning is influenced by accuracy of intersection prediction. This paper based on traditional Four Phases, considering road improvement near the intersection, predicted the impaction of transfer traffic volume on every run-in of intersection; according to the change of land nature, the paper discussed the impaction of transfer traffic volume of intersection. To sum up, accurate traffic flow of intersection could be obtained in plan year. At the end of the paper we applied this model to the Taizhou five-leg roundabout based on statistical yearbook data, to make sure this method does work.

Abstract

From the prospective of real visual experience of passengers, this paper gave out how to set the relevant parameters in the production of 3D images, and put forward the methods for determining the parameters of the experimental environment. Then a simulation scene on the design for passengers guidance departure from Railway Station of Hankou Railway Station was made through 3DS MAX software. With the AHP method, an evaluation model on passengers guidance design was established. Thereafter, the paper evaluated the present situation and design programs of Hankou Railway Station respectively through the evaluation model, which would provide a new evaluation methodology for the design of passengers guidance departure from Railway Station.

With the continuous develepment of table tennis, Japanese university students are also constantly improving the level of table tennis. According to the characteristics of table tennis, from the leisure, health promotion into the competitive sports have a very wide range of fans. With regard to competitive tennis, the skill levels of the different exercise intensity may vary. So it can be expected due to the different skill levels, Oxygen uptake, energy consumption and the number of changes in heart rate may be very different, If the skill level is very low, would be very difficult combstants spar in a row, and the scope of activities is relatively narrow, Oxygen intake, energy consumption and the number of heart rate is lower than the high levels players. To further enhance the competitive level of table tennis, it is neccessary to investigate the various levels of players in practice when the oxygen uptake and heart rate number changes. Therefore, this study investigated the number of years, and competitive athletic relatively high levels of university students practicing table tennis players in oxygen uptake. energy consumption and the number of changes in heart rate.

Abstract

During a table tennis game, coaches give players some advice, based on their experience rather than objectivity. In this research, objective data are used to analyze the advice given to players. Coordinate data of the ball fall point in a National University Table Tennis Tournament, held in April of 2008, are analyzed with the help of a video camera. Attack and defensive patterns are analyzed, allowing weak points to be clarified. This research aims to extrapolate objective advice to the advice given by the coach from experience. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the method for evaluating skills of table tennis players during the rally of the game. An incidence angle, speed and height of the balls passing above the net were investigated for both winners and losers. In this study, these three factors were defined as the characteristics of the hit ball. In order to observe those three factors, infrared laser units were set up 0.3 m from the net. The intervals of the time which were required for the balls to pass through two fixed units were measured. Those data were digitized and recorded in a personal computer. The above-mentioned characteristics of the hit ball were calculated. The results showed the following tendency. A winner's ball has a larger incidence angle than that of loser's one. On the other hand, the speed and height were not important factors in order to win the games. However, higher the skill levels, the higher the hit ball position and more the speed. It was found that a large incidence angle was necessary to win. In conclusion, observing an incidence angle gives coaches and players the possibility to evaluate skills of table tennis even in different skill levels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Under low signal noise ratio, estimation accuracy using classical algorithms, such as envelope-demodulation and instant autocorrelation spectrum, can't satisfy with the system requirements. To enhance the estimating accuracy of pulse repetition interval, pulse width and frequency modulation rate, an integrated method of multi-parameter estimation is proposed based on fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) in this paper. The focusing capability of FRFT was used for linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal and the relativity of estimation algorithm for each parameter was considered. Moreover, the founded test platform was utilized that transmits and receives LFM pulse compression radar signal to do a trial on algorithm. The results demonstrate its feasibility. Abstract

Objectives Materials and methods Results Conclusions Porphyromonas gingivalis‐LPS regulated bone metabolism by triggering dysfunction of osteoblasts directly, and affecting activity of osteoclasts through intracellular communication. Exosome, as the mediator of intercellular communication, was important vesicle to regulate osteogenesis and osteoclastogenesis. This research was designed for investigating the mechanism of BMSCs‐EXO in modulating osteoclastic activity under the P. gingivalis‐LPS.The cytotoxicity and osteogenic effects of P. gingivalis‐LPS on BMSCs was evaluated, and then osteoclastic activity of RAW264.7 co‐cultured with exosomes was detected. Besides, Affymetrix miRNA array and luciferase reporter assay were used to identify the target exosomal miRNA signal pathway.BMSCs' osteogenic differentiation and proliferation were decreased under 1 and 10 μg/mL P. gingivalis‐LPS. Osteoclastic‐related genes and proteins levels were promoted by P. gingivalis‐LPS‐stimulated BMSCs‐EXO. Based on the miRNA microarray analysis, exosomal miR‐151‐3p was lessened in BMExo‐LPS group, which facilitated osteoclastic differentiation through miR‐151‐3p/PAFAH1B1.Porphyromonas gingivalis‐LPS could regulated bone metabolism by inhibiting proliferation and osteogenesis of BMSCs directly. 27. [A comprehensive analysis of potential prognostic biomarkers for MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma].

Abstract

Objective: To study the differentially expressed mRNAs between MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma (NB) and non-amplified NB, to screen out the genes which can be used to predict the prognosis of MYCN-amplified NB, and to analyze their value in predicting prognosis., Methods: NB transcriptome data and the clinical data of children were obtained from the TARGET database. According to the presence or absence of MYCN amplification, the children were divided into two groups: MYCN amplification (n=33) and non-MYCN amplification (n=121). The expression of mRNAs was compared between the two groups to obtain differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome (KEGG) analysis was performed to investigate the main functions of DEGs. The Cox proportional-hazards regression model analysis was used to investigate the genes influencing the prognosis of MYCN-amplified NB. The children were divided into a high-risk group (n=77) and a low-risk group (n=77) based on the median of risk score. A survival analysis was used to compare survival rate between the two groups. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to investigate the value of risk score in predicting the prognosis of children with MYCN-amplified NB., Results: A total of 582 DEGs were screened out, and they were involved in important biological functions such as ribosome composition, expression of cell adhesion molecules, and activity of membrane receptor protein. The multivariate Cox regression model analysis showed that FLVCR2, SCN7A, PRSS12, NTRK1, and XAGE1A genes had a marked influence on the prognosis of the children with NB in the MYCN amplification group (P<0.05). The survival analysis showed that the high-risk group had a significantly lower overall survival rate than the low-risk group (P<0.05). The ROC curve analysis showed that risk score had a certain value in predicting the prognosis of the children with NB in the MYCN amplification group (P<0.05), with an area under the ROC curve of 0.729, an optimal cut-off value of 1.316, a sensitivity of 53.2%, and a specificity of 84.4%., Conclusions: The mRNA expression of FLVCR2, SCN7A, PRSS12, NTRK1, and XAGE1A genes can be used as biomarkers to predict the prognosis of MYCN-amplified NB, which can help to refine clinical risk stratification.
