With yeast cell as research objective, the effects of different amounts of gluten antifreeze polypeptides on yeast cell survival rate, cell morphology, cell membrane damage and leakage of cell contents during the freezing or repeated freezing and thawing process were studied. The results showed that a certain mass concentration (20 ~ 40 g/ L) of gluten antifreeze polypeptides could improve the survival rate of yeast cells during the freezing or repeated freezing and thawing process. After repeated freezing and thawing 8 times, the cell survival rate in the yeast suspension supplemented with 40 g/ L gluten antifreeze polypeptide was the highest, which was 65. 63% higher than that in the blank group. Gluten antifreeze polypeptide could slow down the destruction of yeast cells by ice crystals and keep yeast cells relatively intact and smooth surface morphology. The gluten antifreeze polypeptides significantly reduced the proportion of damaged cells during the freezing or repeated freezing and thawing process, and inhibited the leakage of intracellular DNA and GSH to a certain extent. Gluten antifreeze polypeptides improved the survival rate of yeast cells by reducing the adverse effects of ice crystals on cell membranes during the freezing or repeated freezing and thawing process. With mango and kiwi as the main raw materials, the effect of the ratio of mango to kiwi fruit, the amount of sugar, the amount of citric acid and the amount of xanthan gum on sensory quality and physicochemical properties of mango kiwi compound jam were studied by single factor experiment. Then orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the technical formula of the compound jam. When the ratio of mango and kiwi was 52.5:7.5, 10.00% white sugar, 0.15% citric acid, it was the best technological condition for making mango kiwi fruit compound jam. Alicyclobacillus acidoterrestris is a thermoacidophilic, spore-forming bacillus. A. acidoterrestris and its spores can survive in pasteurized juices and cause microbial spoilage. In this work, the effects of ultraviolet-C light-emitting diodes at 275 nm on the inactivation of A. acidoterrestris vegetative cells and its spores in commercial pasteurized orange juice were studied. Meanwhile, the effects of ultraviolet-C light-emitting diodes on the quality attributes of the orange juice were also investigated. The quantities of A. acidoterrestris vegetative cells and its spores inoculated in orange juice were reduced by 6.04 and 2.49 log10 CFU/mL after ultraviolet-C light-emitting diode treatment at 220 mJ/cm2, respectively. The Weibull and Weibull plus tail models were satisfactorily fitted to estimate the reductions of A. acidoterrestris vegetative cells and its spores in orange juice, respectively. Physicochemical properties (pH, titratable acidity, total soluble solids, and clarity) of orange juice did not change significantly after exposure to ultraviolet-C light-emitting diodes. However, the total phenolic content of orange juice decreased with increasing fluence. In addition, ultraviolet-C light-emitting diode treatment at a higher fluence led to a noticeable color difference. A network's diagnosability is the maximum number of faulty vertices that the network can discriminate solely by performing mutual tests among the vertices. It is an important measure of a network's robustness. The g -good-neighbor conditional diagnosability is the maximum cardinality of g -good-neighbor conditional fault-set that the system is guaranteed to identify. Background: The only clinically approved drug that reduces doxorubicin cardiotoxicity is dexrazoxane, but its application is limited due to the risk of secondary malignancies. So, exploring alternative effective molecules to attenuate its cardiotoxicity is crucial. Colchicine is a safe and well-tolerated drug that helps reduce the production of reactive oxygen species. High doses of colchicine have been reported to block the fusion of autophagosomes and lysosomes in cancer cells. However, the impact of colchicine on the autophagy activity within cardiomyocytes remains inadequately elucidated. Recent studies have highlighted the beneficial effects of colchicine on patients with pericarditis, postprocedural atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease. It remains ambiguous how colchicine regulates autophagic flux in doxorubicin-induced heart failure., Methods and Results: Doxorubicin was administered to establish models of heart failure both in vivo and in vitro. Prior studies have reported that doxorubicin impeded the breakdown of autophagic vacuoles, resulting in damaged mitochondria and the accumulation of reactive oxygen species. Following the administration of a low dose of colchicine (0.1 mg/kg, daily), significant improvements were observed in heart function (left ventricular ejection fraction: doxorubicin group versus treatment group=43.75%±3.614% versus 57.07%±2.968%, P =0.0373). In terms of mechanism, a low dose of colchicine facilitated the degradation of autolysosomes, thereby mitigating doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity., Conclusions: Our research has shown that a low dose of colchicine is pivotal in restoring the autophagy activity, thereby attenuating the cardiotoxicity induced by doxorubicin. Consequently, colchicine emerges as a promising therapeutic candidate to improve doxorubicin cardiotoxicity.
